I've been a fan of him as well since that Howie Roseman video last year. He's pretty good! (y)

I'll take the defense game-by-game for now but I really liked what I saw from them. They haven't had a top-10 defense since their super bowl win. They better maximize what they do now as Rodgers is still at his peak but is getting old. I want him to win another or 2 super bowls to be in the conversation for GOAT with Brady, Montana & maybe Peyton (he's the BOAT for me).

That's true. Especially when he also has Edelman & Gordon then you add AB. He's gonna be better than last year. I just wish that he doesn't, lol. :p
Yeah I keep reminding myself how long ago that was too. Hell, that was when Clay Matthews was actually at an All-Pro before his eventual decline. Rodgers I think has atleast 2-3 more years before he starts to hit the wall. He still has a good chunk of time, but his new contract is going to make it difficult from a pure cap salary standpoint. (but he is worth a every damn penny). Rodgers gets another ring and I think that's all he really needs. Anybody who has seen what Rodgers has done knows that his peak was greater than even Brett Farve was (though Rodgers wasn't ever as fun as Brett was). Montana is still a guy who has the accolades to hold himself #2 all time. Manning is the greatest regular season QB of all time. He is The BOAT (Best of All Time), but he will never be put above either Brady or Montana at any point. PERIOD.

Oh his stats will be way better than last year for sure. That receiving core was really bar bones for our team. Gronk was already declining bad last year so his retirement wasn't unexpected. But this WR core is the best we had probably since 2007. (again, if they stay healthy)

A funny analogy I saw on the YT comments about the pats signing AB.

AB goes to a party with his girl, breaks up with her and hits her for everyone to see and then leaves the party with the baddest bitch in the house.

This is wayyyy too accurate. Guy basically ruined a good healthy marriage, then divorced, only to marry his ex's cousin shotgun wedding-style. ? Then proceeds to cheat on her with his boss' wife. ?

Peyton had a chance to be the BOAT. He just choked most of the time (weirdly though, he was clutch against the Pats).

You could argue this core could be better than the '07 just on overall talent alone. Btw, do you think AB will be on his best behavior for y'all?

Peyton was well established as a choke artist before he even entered the league in '98. I follow college football abit and he couldn't get the Tennessee Volunteers a championship during his tenure there because he couldn't get past the Florida Gators. :dogkek: His worst moment though was Superbowl 48 imo. One of the best seasons of his entire career and he goes all the way to the Super Bowl and first snap is a touchback. Guy laid a huge egg there. (And yeah, he always played his best against our team when he needed to make a statement but we got him a good couple of times)

In overall talent, idk still. Randy was also in his 30s when he came here. (Also from the Raiders  ) But in terms of the individuals, I think it stakes ups very well to '07. And do I think he will be on his best behavior? It depends on if MBC wants his nuts cut off. :ROFLMAO: Beichick will not tolerate his attitude if he starts to show anything so he knows he needs to be silent as a leaf. You can see that same behavior with Micheal Bennett who is formerly of the Seahawks and Eagles.

Damn, the Browns suffered an overwhelming defeat by the Titans :feelsbetrayingman:

Tho they did lose, its seriously annoying how ppl are already disding them for it, calling them trash or yhe same old Browns. Sure, they were overhyped and callibg them SB contenders was premature but same is calling the same old Browns. Blowout losess happen ro everybody, even the Patriots. Its week 1, cut them some slack.

Id love if the Jags and Browns make the playoffs. I'd also love it if the Chiefs don't. It'd be ridiculously hilarious.

Titans raped them. Holy god how did Baker throw 3 INTs?! That is rough but the Browns gonna brown. I think they are fine if Baker keeps the ship fine but we will need to see improvement going forward because that was a brutal game.

But I should say that I am happy that to see that the Cardinals vs Lions game was entertaining. Kyler Murray played good against the Lions D considering he is a rookie. But my biggest surprise was Marquise Brown for the Ravens. Holy shit that kid is a fucking stud and Lamar Jackson ripped that Miami defense to shreds.

I think the Jags are out because of Foles going down. Poor guy but the Jags defense is still good but Myles Jack got injected from the game because of a fight that broke out. The Browns are still in this imo.

YES! Eagles victory!

Ok, we must address the elephant in the room.

The dolphins absolutely got massacred by the Ravens. Shit was worse than the goddamn Boston Massacre.

Been a good day so far. Lmfao at lions actually struggling against Arizona, favorite game of the day was Minnesota vs Atlanta. Can't say I'm shocked at the outcome though, that Atlanta oline was suspect in the preseason and it carried over.
