Hello, Thriller Bark Community

I am here to present a short idea. It's just about the God in Skypiea from 400 years ago who claimed Upper Yard as his home and called it a blessing from the heavens.

I may understand the meaning of this event.

In Ancient Greek cosmology, mortals can't live among the Gods.

In Greek mythology, Aether (/ˈiːθər/; Ancient Greek: Αἰθήρ, romanized: Aithḗr, pronounced [ai̯tʰɛ̌ːr]) is one of the primordial deities. ... He embodies the pure upper air that the gods breathe, as opposed to the normal air (Ancient Greek: ἀήρ, Latin: aer) breathed by mortals.

Aether is the pure upper air that the gods breathe, and humans can't access that realm. It's basically Heaven. However, humans who wish to be close to the gods may attempt to live as close to them as possible by making their home in the realm directly below the heavens. The sky. Such a person might call themselves a Sky God (or perhaps a God of Skypiea).

Also notice the similarities in the names. Upper Yard and Upper Air.

Moreover, in this context, it is suggested that the Gods blessed the God of Skypiea with a place for him to live close to the Heavens. It's also implied that Gaia was the one who provided the Vearth of Jaya to be delivered to that location. It may also be implied that the Sky God and the Sea God created the Knock-Up Stream which sent the Vearth to the sky. That's one way to look at it.
