Long Leg Hung Gar
Long Leg Hung Gar is a martial art used by the long leg tribe. It is famous for it's strong stances, strong hand techniques, and long range kicks. Students of this martial art spend years in stance training, sitting in a stance for hours a day. Only after they have mastered the stances, do they begin learning any forms. Chuck spent his childhood learning each form and it's branches. Long Leg Hung Gar is composed of 5 Animal Forms; Tiger, Snake, Dragon, Leopard, and Crane.
Tiger:
The Tiger form of Long Leg Hung Gar puts emphasis on swift, strong punches and claw attacks. The entire form seems to move linearly and has deep lunges. This form is quite powerful, but by itself it has very short range.
Bengal Bite: This is a powerful claw attack. Chuck uses his strong fingers to grasp the target with his fingers and crush whatever he manages to grab onto. This technique is strong enough to take a chunk out of a tree. Rank: C
Siberian Straight: Chuck takes a low stance, inhaling and filling his lungs before releasing all the pent up energy into a shotgun-like punch that can pierce through a concrete wall. Rank: B
Sumatran One Inch Punch: Using the entirety of his body behind the punch, Chuck is able to strike at an opponent from very close range. Despite it's close range, this punch is one of the more powerful attacks that are in Chuck's arsenal. Rank: S
Caspian Shovel Punch: Chuck throws a punch that is somewhere between a straight punch and an upper cut, striking the opponent in the ribcage with enough force to shatter bone. Rank: B
Javan Javelin: With a lunge toward the opponent, pushing off with the back foot and punching with the opposite arm of the leg used to push off with, Chuck throws a long fist at his opponent. This attack is deceptively longer than a normal punch as Chuck tucks his fingertips against the bottom knuckle of each finger, forming the long fist. With it he strikes with extreme piercing force. Rank: C
Malayan Palm Thrust: The Tiger form's only defensive technique. Chuck takes a deep lunging step forward, twisting his shoulders while keeping his hips facing towards his target. He draws back his striking arm, forming an open palm, and then he thrusts it at the opponent as he steps through. The force of the palm attack is meant to push the opponent backwards, away from Chuck. Rank: C
Bali Backfist: Chuck does a spin and swings his fist facing backwards against the target, the torque from the spin creating a more powerful attack. Rank: B
Snake:
The Snake form of Long Leg Hung Gar is composed of precision based kicks, stomps, and knees. These leg based attacks have deceptively long range. As a Long Leg, Chuck is quite proficient with using indirect kicks without sacrificing any power.
Rattlesnake Showtime Kick: Chuck runs towards the opponent, jumping off of a sturdy wall or post before kicking his opponent with the same foot used to get airborne. Rank B
Viper Reverse Roundhouse: This kick traditionally uses the protruding point on the backside of the heel to strike with, the kicking leg coming from around the kicker's back as they pivot and the knee remaining relatively straight on the follow through. Because of Chuck's long legs, the reach of this attack is quite lengthy. It is also quite deceptive as it can whip around defenses when at close range. Rank: A
Cobra Question Mark Kick: Swinging his leg up in a diagonal motion, before snapping his leg out and swiping in the opposite direction and striking the opponent with the ball of his foot. Because of his long legs he is able to strike around obstacles. This technique is very precise in its striking, like a snap of a whip, it can pierce like a bullet. Rank: A
Copperhead Hook Kick: Bringing his leg up in an upward diagonal motion, Chuck strikes the opponent with the bottom of his foot against their neck, jaw or temple. Rank: B Copperhead Hook Kick: Coil: This is a variation of the Copperhead Hook Kick. Bringing his leg up in an upward diagonal motion, Chuck wraps his long leg around a target's limb in order to wrap them up and squeeze. Rank B
Dragon:
The Dragon form of Long Leg Hung Gar is composed of strong body techniques. These attacks are fairly short range and utilize Chuck's entire body to perform.
Dilong Earthly Side Quake: This move is used as an offensive counter. As an opponent lunges in towards Chuck, he side steps their attack and instead of moving away from them, he steps into them with his body and slams his shoulder into the opponents' side. This technique is quite crushing, but also has the potential to send an opponent flying. Rank: A
Fuzanglong Treasure Trove Lariat: Charging at an opponent, Chuck brings his arm up to slam the inner curve of his arm slam into the neck or face of an opponent, putting the entire weight of his body behind the attack. Rank: C
Tianlong Heavenly Flying Headbutt: After taking a running start, Chuck does a powerful jump, holding his hands to his sides like he is a spear in order to deliver a powerful headbutt. Rank: C
Shenlong Spirit Breaking Dropkick: Dashing at the enemy, Chuck makes a long jump towards his target in order to deliver a devastating dropkick. Rank: B
Leopard:
The Leopard form of Long Leg Hung Gar is composed of soft counters utilizing swift hand motions. This form lacks strong attacks and is relatively short ranged, but is capable of redirecting opponent's attacks like the swipe of a leopard's padded paw.
Javan Palm Block: Swiping at an opponent's attack, Chuck attempts to swat the attack away from himself. Rank: C
Amur Pride Palm Block: This technique is a variation of the Javan Palm Block. Chuck's swift hand movements allow him to attempt to swat away multiple enemy attacks. Rank: B
Arabian Arm Drag: This technique where Chuck grasps his opponent's wrist and drags the opponent's arm as he step forward. This opens up the side and back of the opponent for an attack. The main strength of the arm drag is its ease of use. Rank: D
Sinai Single Leg Ankle Pick: Dropping to his knee and using the momentum to slide down along the side of an opponent, Chuck reaches down to clasp the Achilles heel of the opponent, pulling the leg upward in order to control the opponent's balance. Rank: B
Shri Lankan Double Leg Pile Driver: Dropping to his knee and using the momentum to slide down along the side of an opponent, Chuck reaches around the opponent's waist, lifting them up and slamming them down onto the ground. Rank: A
