As somebody who wasn't a big Karate Kid fan, I was surprised at how good this show really is. And that cliffhanger at the end of season 2 ? can't wait to see the fallout from that lol

I was wasn't a fan of that either but that's tv for you, I think it was just to make them actually hate each other instead of the one sided 'he stole my dad' lol

That said, they do tone it down in season 2 and the conflict mostly comes from Dojo vs Dojo.

Especially in the moment when Johnny tells Miguel his Version of the past you can feel the HIMYM influence


Story and Implementation is so great. The idea of Johnny becoming the next Mr Miyagi and Daniels daughter falling in love in Daniel 2.0 is so funny. Can't wait to see Johnnys reactions once he find's out Daniel is training his son (currently episode 8).

Thinking about it Daniels situation is much worse. He is training Johnnys so'n without knowing he is Johnnys son and his daughter fell in love with number 1 Cobra Kai student

Season 1 gets better with every episode.
Season 2 is also cool but not as cool as Season 1.

The last episode of season 2 escalated a bit too much for my taste, but the cliffhanger was great! Really looking forward for season 3.

Apparently season 3 of Cobra Kai will be airing on a real streaming service. Hulu and Netflix are the top contenders to pick up the show.
Good news... this means we'll get a season 4
