CP1 Base

The Cipher Pol 1 base is the base of operations for Cipher Pol's first unit. It is located in East Blue. They do not specialize in battle, though they are sufficiently trained in Rokushiki to protect themselves. They focus on intelligence gathering.

The sound of rain drummed against the wooden exterior of the CP1 headquarters. Inside the dimly lit room, the agents of Cipher Pol sat around a low table, the air thick with anticipation. The wooden floors creaked under the subtle weight shifts of the agents, their dark suits giving them an air of authority and precision. They had been briefed — a meeting of significant importance was about to take place, but for now, it was only them.

---

Agent Fukumoto, his expression as cold as the storm outside, leaned back slightly, adjusting his glasses. He peered at the profiles scattered across the table, reviewing the details with calculated precision. “An alliance... Pirates are becoming bolder, it seems.” His tone was low, analytical, almost detached from the seriousness of the situation.

Agent Hatano snorted in response, pushing himself away from the wall where he had been leaning. His arms were crossed tightly over his chest. “Bolder or just desperate. Either way, we shouldn’t be lowering ourselves to this.” His disdain for pirates was well-known, and his sharp eyes held nothing but skepticism.

Agent Kaminaga remained seated at the far end, the dim light reflecting off his neatly combed hair. He was as quiet as ever, but his fingers lightly drummed against the polished surface of the table, an almost unconscious rhythm. “Desperation creates opportunity,” he finally spoke, his voice measured and calm. “That’s what we should be focusing on.”

---

The tension between Fukumoto and Hatano was nothing new, but today, it seemed even more palpable. Agent Tasaki, always the more restless of the group, couldn’t stay seated. He began pacing around the room, glancing now and then at the profiles. "You’re all thinking too much," Tasaki said with a grunt. "If they want to talk, fine. But if they try anything, we crush them. Simple as that." His fists clenched as if preparing for a fight that hadn’t even begun.

Agent Jitsui, sitting closest to the door, remained eerily calm, his focus elsewhere. He had always been the quiet observer, and now, his sharp gaze flickered between his fellow agents. “Talking may not be enough. Let’s not underestimate them. This isn’t the first time Cipher Pol has been used for something greater than it seems,” he said, his voice cool and calculated. There was always more than what met the eye, and Jitsui made sure the others didn’t forget it.

---

The room fell silent again, the sound of rain intensifying as if to heighten the suspense within the room. Each of the agents was on edge, though none would admit it. This wasn’t just another assignment; it was something more, and they all knew it. The eyes of the World Government were on them now, and in their line of work, that often meant a line between survival and failure.

The storm outside continued to rage, but within the CP1 base, the agents of Cipher Pol remained as resolute as ever — prepared for whatever storm was about to break inside their very walls.

The violent waves beat against the battered Titan Pirate vessel as it braved the stormy weather that heavily polluted the East Blue, it's demon shaped jollr roger dancing in the wind for all to see. It's burgendy shaded, burnt and chipped wooden structure creaked under the weight of the individual at the helm, a frost giant and First Mate of the Titan Pirates: Vanir, as it made headways towards it's destination. Dead in sights, a CP1 Base of operations weathered the rain, as lightning forked in the skies up above, a deafening boom echoed afterwards as thunder roared accompanying the rain. As far as the giant was concerned this weather was nothing compared to the Sea of Serpents, thus he steered the ship unfazed, atleast not until his Den Den Mushi began to ring uncontrollably.

"Pururururururu...purururururu....purururururu..."

Vanir eyes the tiny snail with a look of annoyance, struggling to pick up the receiver with his massive fingers, still not quite used to the technology of the blues. The ringing continued for quite some time, until finally he managed to grip the device between his nails before speaking into it. "Well, well, well..Look who finally decided to make it!" He shouted through the rain with a cheeky smirk. "You know, you should really get one of these things my size. You probably gave me a normal sized one on purpose just to take a piss!"

"I wouldn't do such a thing! I don't even think they come bigger than that..."
Cletus responded through the snail. "Anyway, where are you in the New World? We're sailing towards there as we speak."

Vanir sucked his teeth, using his palm to wipe the rain from his eyes. "No where near it...'Captain'. I was ran towards the East Blue by some old acquaintances of yours...."

"The Silver Vampirates."
Cletus responded immediately.

"That's right." He said, irritation laced in his voice. "And even here their presence is thick! My ship is in shambles, I'm gonna need a pick up!"

Cletus sighed on the other side of the line. "That sounds like a hassle..."

"OI! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT!"
The giant fumed. "You told me you were going to be right behind me! But you were a few days late!"

"That wasn't my fault. Njord made the sea a never ending path until I disguised myself as a worshiper of Surtur."
Cletus defended. Still, Vanir was less than pleased. He adjusted the sails as his ship drew closer to the island. "Nothing has went as planned. You promised me untold riches at the end of this journey of yours, so I hope you deliver! You owe me after I helped you against Vidarr!"

The other end of the line went silent. Lightning cracked again from the heavens, before Vinar finally heard an exhausted sigh in response. "Fine. Hold tight, bud. Gumpy! I'm turning this shi-" The line went dead with a click as the giant drew closer to the port. "You better."

Vinar dropped anchor, the heavy winds blowing his sky-blue locs in every direction as he took one giant footstep onto the wooden structure. Making sure the ship was secure and that his weapon was properly adjusted. He was finally ready to step foot into the unknown. However, like a cruel joke from the gods. Lightning struck the boat with a crash, setting the entire ship ablaze. Vinar stood there, watching the fire eat away at the ship blankly for a few moments before face palming at the situation. "Well that's just great innit!" He said furiously, throwing up his hands in frustration.

The tension inside the room had reached a breaking point, the atmosphere so thick it could be cut with a knife. Fukumoto's cold, calculating demeanor grated on Hatano more than usual, and the disdain in Hatano's voice had finally lit the fuse.

“You think you’re better than everyone because you sit there analyzing everything to death, Fukumoto?” Hatano’s voice was low but filled with venom, his arms still crossed as he glared across the room.

Fukumoto’s eyes flicked up from the profiles, his expression unbothered as he adjusted his glasses again. “Better? No. Smarter, definitely.”

That was all it took.

Hatano's temper snapped. In an instant, he launched himself from his position, fists raised. He crossed the distance between them in a heartbeat, his fist crashing towards Fukumoto’s face with the force of a battering ram. Fukumoto was quick, though, leaning back just enough to let the blow glance past his chin, his chair scraping loudly as it skidded back from the impact.

The room exploded into chaos.

Hatano swung again, his knuckles aimed for Fukumoto's temple, but Fukumoto countered, deflecting the blow with the flat of his palm. The force of their clash rattled the floor beneath them, sending a vibration through the wooden boards. Fukumoto retaliated with a swift strike, his leg snapping upward in a precise kick aimed at Hatano's midsection. But Hatano saw it coming, catching his foot and spinning, hurling Fukumoto through the air.

Fukumoto crashed into the desk, splintering the wood and scattering papers in every direction.

The other agents sprang to their feet as the fight escalated, but no one intervened—yet. This had been brewing for a long time, and neither Jitsui nor the others were about to step in without good reason.

Fukumoto stood slowly, brushing off the debris from his suit, eyes narrowing behind his glasses. “You’re reckless,” he spat, voice calm but with a dangerous edge now. “And you let your emotions get in the way, just like now.”

Hatano’s lip curled in a sneer. “Reckless gets the job done.”

With a roar, Hatano charged again, this time throwing a barrage of punches at Fukumoto, each one heavier than the last. Fukumoto, despite the initial surprise, was a master of his own precision. He dodged, blocked, and parried each attack with fluidity, his movements like a well-rehearsed dance. But the room wasn’t faring so well.

The walls trembled as one of Hatano's wild punches missed and smashed straight into the thick wood, shattering a panel and sending splinters flying. Fukumoto’s counter-kick sent Hatano crashing into the bookshelf, knocking it over and spilling its contents across the floor. With every blow exchanged, the CP1 office was being torn apart, wood cracking, glass shattering, furniture reduced to rubble in the blink of an eye.

Tasaki, standing to the side, shook his head with a grin. "They’re gonna level the whole place before the pirates even show up," he muttered.

Jitsui, however, was watching closely. His gaze never left the two combatants, ready to step in if things went too far. "If they don't stop soon," Jitsui remarked quietly, "they might not need pirates to ruin us."

Hatano swung again, and this time Fukumoto sidestepped, causing Hatano’s fist to smash directly through the window. Rain and wind howled through the now-exposed room, adding to the chaos. In the aftermath, Hatano stumbled, and Fukumoto seized the moment. He delivered a sharp strike to Hatano’s ribs, sending him sprawling onto the floor, gasping for air.

Silence fell.

The once pristine office was now a wreck of broken furniture, shattered glass, and scattered papers. Hatano pushed himself to his knees, panting heavily, while Fukumoto stood over him, still composed, though his suit was now dusted with debris.

Hatano let out a chuckle, dark and breathless. “You think you’ve won?”

Fukumoto shook his head, offering a hand to his fallen comrade. “This was never about winning, Hatano. It was about survival. Something I’m better at.”

Hatano glared at him for a long moment before grudgingly accepting the hand, pulling himself back to his feet. Though the fight had stopped, the tension between the two officers remained, a volatile undercurrent that threatened to erupt again at any moment.

But for now, they stood down, the office in ruins around them.

The sound of the rain outside was all that filled the silence.

Four days had passed by since Vinar had last contacted the Spear of Surtur and still the storm raged on. Despite Cletus' efforts, all attempts of making contact with his comrade were not fruitful. Despite his worries, the Lunarian managed to effectively tracked down the giant's last location, all the while avoiding detection in Vampirate infested waters. Gumpy, who had become more comfortable over the course of a few days, pointed straight ahead as a small island came into view.

"Land Ho Cap'N!" He shouted from the safety of his Crow's nest, with a combination of rain and wind nearly throwing him out of it. Cletus' golden tinted eyes scanned the land mass before them, taking in it's full appearance as they drew closer. "Good work Gumpy! I'm gonna anchor the ship at the docks, hold on tight!"

He quickly maneuvered the ship through the East Blue waters. The winds danced in-between the sails violently, as they pushed the massive vessel toward the CP1 Base with ease. The lunarian's gaze hardened, finally bringing the ship to a stop at their destination. Dropping anchor, he moved away from the helm of the ship and used his right hand to shield his eyes from the less than desirable weather. Despite that, Cletus raised a brow as a World Government flag flapped proudly in the treacherous winds. "That can't be good" Cletus said grimly. Had Vinar been captured? Is that why he hadn't returned his calls...or received them? Question after question plagued the Captain's mind, before Gumpy's voice reached him through the roaring winds.

"Umm Captain! Is the a World Government base? I-It looks like bad news.." He shouted nervously. Gumpy hadn't seen much action, despite the occasional pie attacks on unsuspecting marines. He could help but feel nervous. Sensing his discomfort, Cletus cast his gaze towards to the young man, giving him comforting words. "It is. I think my friend has gotten himself in a bit of trouble." He paused before turning around and facing the direction of his quarters. "You stay here and protect the ship. Wouldn't want my new apprentice to get himself hurt!" He said with a wink. Gumpy gave a thankful nod before sinking into the crows nest with relief, while Cletus made his way into his Captain's quarters. Closing the door behind of him, he released a long sigh before run his hands through his hair.

"Of all places Vinar, why a world government base. I was hoping to not have to deal with them so soon. I hope they're still not holding a grudge for me whooping their ass during the Pirate Festival. Grudges just make people want to fight more. What a pain..."

-‐-----------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, deep within the walls of the base, a blue-toned giant lay unconcious, tied up and riddled with wounds. This was none other than Vinar, who had been found and captured. The CP1 plans with him, remained to be seen.

Inside the CP1 base, the rain drummed heavily on the rooftop, blending with the dimly lit atmosphere of the interrogation room. Vinar, the blue-skinned giant, lay unconscious, bound by thick chains that wrapped tightly around his arms and legs. His body bore the marks of a fierce struggle, fresh wounds oozing slightly under the dim light of the base. His breathing was shallow, labored, as if each breath was a battle to stay alive.

Agents Hatano and Fukumoto stood just outside the room, observing the giant through a thick glass pane. Their expressions were a blend of curiosity and calculation.

"That giant... is tougher than I thought," Hatano remarked, arms crossed as his sharp eyes traced the bruises and cuts all over Vinar's body. "It took five of our best agents to bring him down, and even then, they barely did it."

Fukumoto nodded, adjusting his glasses. "Indeed. But what interests me more is why he was here. There’s no record of him in any of our intelligence. He’s a ghost. And yet, somehow, he ended up near our base."

Hatano glanced at him, suspicion creeping into his voice. "You think he's connected to the recent surge of activity? We’ve had more pirate sightings in these waters recently, especially near the Vampirate strongholds."

Fukumoto’s lips curled into a thin, thoughtful smile. "Perhaps. Or maybe he’s a pawn in something bigger."

Suddenly, a faint sound crackled over the communication device attached to Fukumoto’s belt. He tapped it and listened carefully. The voice on the other end was low but urgent.

“Sir, a ship’s been spotted at the docks. Bearing no official flags. We believe it might be... a pirate vessel.”

Hatano's eyes darkened as he exchanged a look with Fukumoto. “Could be his comrades, coming to retrieve him. Let’s hope they don’t think they can just waltz in here and take what’s ours.”

Fukumoto’s smile widened, his mind already racing through strategies. "Let them come. We’ll be ready."

As they prepared to face what was coming, the storm outside continued to rage, a perfect reflection of the brewing storm within the walls of the base itself.

Cletus and Gumpy had unknowingly arrived at the base of CP1, intending to pick up the Titan Pirate First Mate: Vinar. However, the giant was nowhere to be seen.

Gumpy had decided to remain hidden within the crows nest, not yet ready for exploration of the ship. Meanwhile, the sound of footsteps echoed on the deck of the Spear of Surtur as the extremely tall Lunarian made his way out from quarters.

"Let's do this." He said.

Cletus had changed attire for the occasion, wearing a massive black leather jacket with the Titan Pirate Jolly Roger on the back, over a blood red shirt, dark gloves and pants. The rain poured on relentlessly, giving the island an unintentional eery feel. Wiping his eyes from wetness that continously flowed into them. He made his way off the ship and stepped onto the port with a sense of urgency. He reached into his left pocket and pulled out his Den Den Mushi, attempting to contact Vinar one last time. Expectedly, the line remained dead on the other end. With a grim expression, he walked in the direction of the base, not really caring about the prospect of being seen. Afterall, knowing the World Government, they already knew he was here.

He cast his gaze straight ahead, taking in the sight before him. The large wooden building stood, heavily resembling japanese architecture. It reminded him heavily of Chongquin, yet lacked the truw mystical, foreign feel the buildings carried there. It's twin brown doors stood tall and impressively sturdy, however within it's walls, things couldnt have been more unstable. Cletus raised his brow, he honestly wasn't expecting this.

"This looks like a vacation spot." He said. He raised his fist and banged loudly on the door, accidentally splintering the wood under his strength. "Vinar! Are you in there?! It's me! Cletus! It's time to go!"

Realizing the damage he was causing to the door, he sighed and extended his Observation Haki to it's full capacity, intending to find his friend that way instead.

In the depths of the CP1 base, the relentless storm outside mirrored the tense atmosphere within. Agents Hatano and Fukumoto, joined by Agent Kaminaga and Agent Tasaki, positioned themselves strategically around the base, their senses heightened, each agent anticipating what might come through the main entrance.

Kaminaga, known for his sharp instincts and precision in Rokushiki techniques, stood with his back to the wall, silently observing the barely conscious giant from a distance. He folded his arms, his eyes narrow as he scrutinized Vinar’s every move, watching for any signs of recovery.

"Think he’s still a threat, even in his state?" he asked, a hint of skepticism in his tone.

Tasaki, leaning against the opposite wall, shrugged and muttered, “With giants, you can never be too careful. One wrong move, and he could tear this place apart, chains or not.” His hand rested on his weapon, ready to draw at a moment's notice. Though calm, there was a glint of excitement in his eyes. They were rarely given the chance to handle an interrogation of this magnitude.

Just then, footsteps echoed down the hallway, approaching the room where Vinar was held. Agent Jitsui entered, casting a quick glance over his comrades. He spoke with an air of authority, his tone clipped. "Reports say a suspicious vessel anchored at the docks just moments ago. No insignia, and it doesn’t match any known Marine vessels."

Hatano’s jaw tightened, his eyes cold as he replied, “Then we can assume they’re here for him.” He nodded in Vinar’s direction, keeping his voice low. “Best we be prepared.”

Fukumoto, who had been quietly analyzing the situation, finally spoke up, his calm demeanor adding a chilling edge to his words. "Let's see how they handle a welcome party. We should engage carefully but efficiently. I don't want this base left in shambles by the end of it."

The agents nodded in unison, each silently steeling themselves for what lay ahead.

--------------------------------------------------

Agent Jitsui stood calmly in the dimly lit hallway, his expression unreadable as he waited by the entrance. Known among CP1 for his unnerving precision and almost ghostly presence, he was the kind of operative called upon only in delicate, high-stakes situations. As the doors splintered open, allowing the rain and wind to sweep into the base, Jitsui’s sharp gaze fixed on the towering figure of Cletus. With a slight smirk, he stepped forward, hands resting casually at his sides, yet poised for swift action. "Quite the entrance," he said, his voice low but carrying clearly over the storm. "I assume you're here for the giant?"

Cletus' immense strength splintered the doors of the base, causing it to give away and break apart into pieces, causing a rush of wind and rain to make it's way down the dark hallway. With a deep sigh, he entended the reaches of his Observation Haki, decided to find his companion thought the usage of his Haki. However, before he could extend it deep into the base, he stopped it abruptly near the entrance sensing a presence lurking in the shadows of the hallway.

A man with blonde hair and military atitire stepped forward, his blue eyes piercing and sharp as he took in at Cletus' towering figure. The lunarian cast an intense gaze onto the human male, his golden eyes sizing him up while he slipped his hands into his pockets calmly. The man spoke with no fear. "Quite the entrance, I assume you're here for the giant?"

Cletus nodded his head slowly, "That's right, it's time for us to leave. So I'd like you to take me to him, if you don't mind" He responded, his voice calm yet intimidating, "Afterwards, we'll be on our way".

--‐----------------------------------------------------------------------

The sounds of the muffled voices around him caused the giant to stir as he regained conciousness. He slowly opened his eyes, grunting as pain begain to wrack his massive body.

“Then we can assume they’re here for him. Best we be prepared".

"Let's see how they handle a welcome party. We should engage carefully but efficiently. I don't want this base left in shambles by the end of it."

Letting go a nasty cough, he spit a giant mouthful of blood onto the floor close to where the agents stationed himself. "You bloody wankers are still here?" He slurred, attempting to move his arms before finally realizing that his body was wrapped in chains. "What?!" He responded, surprised by his position. He had no idea how he ended up captured. All he knew was that he was attacked by one, then two, then three before everything went fuzzy. "What the hell is going on!"

Cletus and Agent Jitsui:

Jitsui's smirk grew slightly, a glimmer of amusement flashing in his sharp eyes. "I'm afraid it's not as simple as asking, pirate," he responded smoothly, shifting his weight slightly as if preparing for whatever came next. His fingers twitched, and the faint crackle of tension filled the air as the two figures stared each other down. "Your giant friend is currently our guest, and it would be remiss of me to let you waltz out with him without a... conversation," Jitsui continued, the challenge implicit in his tone. The storm's wind howled around them, but inside, the calm before a storm of a different kind was palpable.

Vinar and Other Agents:
Agent Hatano stepped forward, unfazed by the giant's sudden movement and the echo of his frustration. "Awake, are we?" she said, her voice icy and authoritative. She glanced at the other agents, a silent nod passing between them as they prepared for any sudden burst of defiance. "You've been causing quite the commotion, Vinar," she added, pacing around his bound form, her eyes studying his wounds and the heavy chains holding him down. "Your friend has come, but you’ll find that leaving is not as easy as arriving. So, tell me, giant... will you play nicely, or must we remind you why you're here?" The tension in the room thickened as Vinar's eyes narrowed, comprehension dawning on him through the haze of pain.

Vinar and the CP1 Agents

"Awake, are we?" Vinar's eyes slowly traced the room for the source of the voice. A woman stepped forward, her aura cold and authorative. "You've been causing quite the commotion, Vinar," She continued, pacing around him like a predator that has it's prey cornered. However, Vinar was far from intimidated. "Oh am I? Guess that can't be helped. Afterall, I was attacked and chained up by you bloody fools" he hissed. He was just about ready to burst out of the chains and whoop all of their asses properly. He did not become a pirate to be humiliated by a group of weaklings!

"Your friend has come, but you’ll find that leaving is not as easy as arriving. So, tell me, giant... will you play nicely, or must we remind you why you're here?"

The Giant's eyes narrowed, as he slowly comprehended the woman's words. He cracked a smile, amusement swelling within his core. "My friend? Cletus is here?" He burst into hysterics, unable to contain it any longer.

"My friend is here and you're still playing the tough guy roles? I suggest you lot be the ones to play nicely! The Son of Science doesn't like this game. I won't do a thing but sit here and wait for him to reach us!"

The giant relaxed his body, sinking into the corner he was currently seated in. He had no intentions of speaking to them further.

i've seen him first hand! He's a demon!

Cletus and Agent Jitsui

"I'm afraid it's not as simple as asking, pirate,"
The man responded smoothly, the smirk on his face growing more prominent. The tension was increasing by the second and this slightly entertained the lunarian. His signature smile made it's appearance, revealing sharpened canine teeth.

"It can never be that simple with you people, I guess. The World Government were never negotiable folk" He took one step forward, hands never leaving his pocket.

"Your giant friend is currently our guest, and it would be remiss of me to let you waltz out with him without a... conversation," The blonde man continued. The Lunarian's golden gaze crew colder, yet his smile was not shaken. The thought of his companion being held captive for a "conversation" made him completely irate. With another foot brought forward, he kicked off the ground instantly closing the distance. He took his right hand out of his pocket and formed it into the shape of claws.

"Fufufufufufufufufu! Let's play a game! First rule..." Cletus brought his hand forward. With fingertips coated in hardening, he intended to slash the man to pieces. Whether or not the attack landed, the hallway behind of the agent would split in five vertically. "You die!"
Cold Claw
Cletus forms his hand into a claw and slashes at his opponent. If he performs this move with enough force, he can even split objects behind his intended target.

Vinar and the Agents

Hatano’s smirk faltered for a moment at Vinar’s defiant laugh, a shadow of uncertainty crossing her eyes. The agents exchanged uneasy glances, each considering the implications of their prisoner’s words. The giant’s confidence was more unsettling than any physical struggle he could have put up. Agent Kaminaga took a step closer, his stoic expression wavering. “He’s bluffing,” he muttered, though the weight of doubt was clear in his voice. The distant rumble of thunder seemed to echo their unspoken worries, as if nature itself anticipated the storm about to break within the base.

Agent Tasaki stood rigidly, his fists clenched as he eyed Vinar’s relaxed posture. “If he’s here,” Tasaki said in a low growl, “then we’re out of time.

Cletus and Agent Jitsui

Jitsui’s eyes gleamed with a mix of surprise and exhilaration as Cletus moved. The air crackled with tension, the sudden assault slicing through the hall with ferocious power. The hallway behind him splintered, the deafening sound of shattering wood and stone reverberating as debris rained down like a storm of shrapnel. But Jitsui did not flinch. He dodged the attack with a swift sidestep, the edges of his suit catching in the chaotic wind as splinters grazed his cheek.

Fascinating,” Jitsui said with a grin, his voice eerily calm amid the destruction. “You’re every bit the reckless force the reports claimed.” He adjusted his stance, the flicker of Rokushiki techniques apparent in the way he balanced his weight. “But you see, pirate, we’ve been playing this game for far longer than you’ve existed.”

In an instant, Jitsui launched forward with blinding speed, aiming a Shigan strike toward Cletus’ torso, eyes locked with the unwavering determination of a man who’d faced death before and expected it to yield to him.

"Shigan!"

Vinar and the Agents

The other agents were unnerved by Vinar's lax attitude. The thunder roared loudly outside as they most likely pondered how powerful the Son of Science truly was.

“If he’s here, then we’re out of time.” Vinar watched in amusement as the agent clentched his fists in anger.

"Utterly out of time!" Vinar said, his expression turning serious. "This isn't the man you know from the bloody papers and your intel." He paused slightly, letting them take in his words before continuing. "You want answers? Then you will have them, it isn't like you're going to be leaving here alive anyway."

"You know the 'Son of Science', but let me tell you about the 'The Red Devil'"!

---------------‐----------------------------------------------------

Cletus and Agent Jitsui
Cletus brought his arm forward, unleashing a devastating slashing attack using his hand. Tagent sidestepped just in the knick of time, his fingers grazing the fabric of his clothing as the the hallyway's wooden architecture splintered and fell apart from the force of the attack.

“Fascinating. You’re every bit the reckless force the reports claimed.” The man said with a smile. He adjusted the position of his body, taking a stance that Cletus was familiar with. “But you see, pirate, we’ve been playing this game for far longer than you’ve existed.”

Suddenly, he shot forward at massively hypersonic speed, aiming an extended finger towards the Lunarian's torso!

"Shigan!"

The pirate was unphazed. The world around Cletus went black as he focused, he could see his opponent's movements clearly. He smoothly shifted his torso to the right, avoiding the piercing blow completely and without missing a beat, lifted his right arm and shot it forward grabbing the human's wrist tightly. "Yeah, you have and you're bad at it." He calmly responed with the man's wrist still in hand. "So you're Ciphor Pol. Wouldn't have guessed that from your attire, but you're martial art ALWAYS gives you away." The lunarian cracked a menacing smile. "You would think YOU would have been less reckless when I've defeated one of your friends in white before. Well, a weaker version of me did. Do you even know how strong I am? You should check if you able to, I'll wait."

With that, he extended in Color of Observation down the hallway and deeper into the building. Searching every nook and cranny in a one hundred meter radius. His mastery in awareness left alot of be desired, however he was at the very least capable of detecting the presence of individuals and it wouldnt be long before he found what he was looking for. There were nine presences in total and only one of them the Lunarian recognized. Vinar. He turned his attention back to the agent.

"I found him. I don't need you anymore." He spoke, revealing his fangs. "Let's wrap this up quickly!"

The thunder echoed loudly through the storm following a flash of lightning that made Cletus look even more terrifying. Black lightning gathered around from his canine teeth, followed by an eery black aura. He lunged forward, intending to bite into the blonde man's right shoulder with bone crunching force! If successful, he would rip apart the flesh and bone from the agent's person!
Crunch

Vinar and the Agents:

A shiver coursed through the room as Vinar’s words took hold, each agent feeling the unspoken dread that slithered into the space like a snake. Agent Tasaki’s jaw tightened, his facade of confidence slipping as the giant’s ominous declaration resonated in their minds. Hatano clenched her fists, her pulse racing as the term “Red Devil” echoed in her ears. Even the storm outside seemed to respond, the thunder growling as if in agreement with the dire prediction.

Agent Jitsui’s eyes narrowed, sweat beading at his temple despite the cold, damp air. “Prepare yourselves,” he muttered, shifting his stance defensively. But Vinar only chuckled darkly from his chains, the anticipation of what was coming building like a hurricane about to hit the shore.

---

Cletus and Agent Jitsui:

Jitsui winced as Cletus' iron grip crushed his wrist, the pain sharp and instant. His steely resolve faltered for a brief moment, eyes widening at the calm taunt that oozed from the pirate’s lips. The storm beyond the walls seemed to howl in chorus as Cletus spoke, each word cutting deeper than any blade. The agent clenched his teeth, trying to focus through the sudden rush of agony and adrenaline.

As Cletus' Observation Haki unfurled throughout the base, the pulse of recognition hit hard—Vinar was close, surrounded, yet very much alive. Jitsui noticed the subtle shift in Cletus’ gaze and swallowed the knot of dread forming in his throat. But before he could react, the lunarian’s form erupted into motion, black lightning and a sinister aura coiling around him like a monstrous shroud.

Jitsui’s instincts screamed at him to move, but the ferocity of Cletus’ lunge was overwhelming. The world seemed to blur in that instant, the piercing eyes and bared fangs of the pirate marking him as more beast than man. The agent barely managed to twist his body to avoid a fatal bite, but the sharp teeth grazed his shoulder, leaving a deep, searing gash. The sheer force sent Jitsui reeling back, slamming against the wall as blood spattered onto the cracked floor.

The agent’s breath came in ragged gasps as he steadied himself, the sharp pain igniting his senses. “You… You monster!!!,” he rasped, eyes filled with a mixture of fear and determination. But the menacing glow in Cletus’ eyes made one thing abundantly clear: the real fight had only just begun.

Vinar and the Agents
The squadron of agents were visibly unnerved by the mention of the name "Red Devil". It had been two years since Cletus had been active as a pirate and very few had experienced his strength first hand. All they had to go off were old reports during his short term of piracy.

Vinar relished in their dear and uncertainty, chuckling menacingly from his chained position. He didn't expect such an interesting reaction from the group, when they seemed so strong willed before. He leaned back onto the wall before beginning his speech.

"Listen carefully you Chavs, because I won't be repeating myself! Again, this isn't the man you know from your intel." He paused, letting his words linger for dramatic effect. "Two years ago, the Son of Science was assumed to be dead in the eyes of the public after suffering defeat at the hands of Vice-Admiral Link."

"However the news of his death was....grossly exaggerated"
The giant continued with a smirk, casting his gaze across the entire room. "Cletus never died! He found his strength lacking and disappeared, searching for another path...."
--------‐-------------------------------------------

Cletus and Agent Jitsui
The Lunarian lunged forward in attempt to seperate the agent's shoulder from his body with a single bite, however Jitsui had managed to twist his body out of the way in the knick of time. Cletus teeth grazed the man's shoulder, slicing through his flesh like butter and leaving him bloodied against the wall in the hallway. The man panted heavily, pain polluting his body as the Lunarian stared him him down calmly.

“You… You monster!!!,” he gasped through ragged breaths. The lunarian licked his lips, cleaning them from the mans life essence. "I'll take that a compliment" he said with a small smile. "You're more formidable than I thought, I've been taking you for a weakling."

The lunarian placed his hands in his pocket, waiting for Jutsui's next move. "You can try again. Try to actually hit me this time." The glow in his eye cheeky and intimidating.

"You've been playing this game longer than I've existed remember? Or is this all you've got?"
------------------------------------------------

Vinar and the Agents
Vinar continued his tale, possibly sowing more uncertainty into the agents of CP1. "He had chosen to seclude himself for the past two years, dedicating his life to one single goal! Willing to become a monster in order to see it to the end! A monster so vicious, he consumes flesh..." Vinar paused and shuddered, internally rejoicing that he was on the Lunarian's side. He observed their reactions. They most likely had one question running through their minds right now.

"And what is it you ask!? A goal so massive that one would sacrifice their own humanity to achieve? I couldn't believe it myself when I met him! It was so crazy, I couldn't possibly pass up the oppurtunity!" He became so excited, the chains strained under his physical might, the links cracking with every tense of the frost giant's muscles.

"The purging of heaven! The burning of Mary Geoise!"

Vinar and the Agents:

The agents exchanged uneasy glances, the chilling weight of Vinar’s words sinking in like an anchor. The mention of Mary Geoise brought an unspoken dread; few dared to even whisper of such a notion. Each agent’s face showed a spectrum of emotions—fear, defiance, disbelief—yet no one interrupted Vinar as he spun his chilling tale. His chains creaked and groaned under the force of his resolve, each strained link a testament to the power behind his words.

Agent Hatano, usually calm, felt her composure waver as Vinar’s booming laugh echoed through the room. She tried to mask her unease, but the sheer audacity of Cletus' goal—one that threatened to burn down the very core of their power—gnawed at her resolve. The frost giant’s eyes gleamed with a fervor that left the agents questioning: had they underestimated the depths of Cletus’ hatred for the World Government?

---

Cletus and Agent Jitsui:

Jitsui’s chest heaved as he glared at the looming figure, every nerve in his body flaring with pain and fury. The casual smile on Cletus’ face was a slap in the face—a taunt that said even your best isn’t enough. Clenching his jaw, Jitsui pushed down the fear bubbling up inside him, forcing himself to stand taller against the unyielding wall of strength before him.

Formidable, huh?” Jitsui sneered, summoning every ounce of his remaining energy. “Maybe you’re underestimating what Cipher Pol agents are willing to endure. We don’t break that easily!

With a fierce grunt, he launched himself forward, his stance low and calculated. His movements, though sharp, couldn’t hide the subtle tremor in his limbs. But Cletus remained unfazed, hands still tucked casually in his pockets, eyes gleaming with predatory patience.

Jitsui could feel the weight of that dark gaze, as though it could pierce right through him. He feinted left, then threw a powerful kick aimed directly at Cletus’ side, hoping for an opening. But Cletus didn’t so much as blink, and Jitsui knew he was in for a brutal counter.

Vinar and the Agents

Vinar silently enjoyed the looks of unease and dread the agents wore on their faces as he relayed to them the Lunarian's intentions. He relaxed his body and slumped back into the corner. Ever calm and unphazed.

"You sent one of your own against him alone didn't you? If you value the life of your friends, you should call him back before he bites off more than he can chew" the giant replied with a satisfied look on his face.

Cletus and Agent Jitsui

Cletus watched on as the Jitsui forced himself to his feet, meeting the Lunarian's gaze head on with a strong will.

“Formidable, huh? Maybe you’re underestimating what Cipher Pol agents are willing to endure. We don’t break that easily!” The agent declared, pushing off of the ground with a look of contempt.

The lunarian was unphazed as the man attempted a faint to his left, before finally unleashing a powerful kick. Cletus' eyes flashed red for a second before jumping into air and planting the soles of his feet onto the walls of the hallway. Jitsui's leg swung with killing intent, cleanly dissecting the area behind of the pirate, like a knife through butter. "Maybe that's true..." the lunarian replied with a smirk while coating his finger tips in haki. "But even the most reliant things wear out under pressure, am I wrong?"

With that, he swung his hand downwards with massively hypersonic speed. The force behind it threatening the cleave the floor and agent into five veritical slices.
