Dawn Island is the only island within the four blues that is separated by class. Even those who are higher up are also placed in their own sub-classes, going by nobility. Dawn Island, commonly known as the Goa Kingdom, is separated not just by class but also by location, with the outskirts of the main Goa Kingdom being Foosha Village, a rural village. Mount Colubo dawns behind the village, with a forest at its feet and around it known as the Midway Forest. Then we come to the Gray Terminal, a junkyard where class comes to the forefront for those who live at the feet and bottom dwellers. Within the Terminal, a cove exists where a band of Pirates operates, on the payroll to do the dirty deeds of those at the top. Then arrives the Capital of the Royal Palace, which dictates everything like a membrane of the entire Kingdom.

It had been a long time since the structure of the kingdom was in place; from the shores, a hindrance was about to spark to life and cause huge chaos.

Kade silently made his way into Foosha Village with determination, absolutely hell bent on accomplishing the goal assigned to him. He was a man that was young and hadn't spent time travelling the world. As such, while it didn't show on his face, this was a completely nerve wracking situation for him. He felt lost on what liberating a country actually entailed or where to begin. Still, he strolled down the road to the seemingly peaceful village, taking in the surroundings as he went along.

Foosha Village

Foosha Village resembled a typical rural community, filled rustic wooden houses, docks and a few windmills. The residents were friendly for the most part. Children played on the road side as the junior agent passed by, waving at him before continuing on his way. Kade gave them a small smile before continuing along the pathway, where continued to search for place to find out more information about the state of affairs. It wouldnt be long before Kade came across a small wooden bar by the name of Partys Bar.

"A bar huh?" He said to himself.

Bars were the perfect place to gather any form information you needed in his experience back home. To Kade, this was the only way to find out the state of affairs of the island and the path to knowing the location of the main city. The young man stuffed his hands in his pocket before making his way towards the entrance of the building. He stepped up to the wooden door and paused, staring at the sign for a few moments before making his way into the building with a sigh.....

Partys Bar

Kade eyes scanned the interior of the bar with caution. It was lively, filled to the brim with men who heartily laughed and drank booze to their hearts content, taking a break from their daily activities to get drunk with their friends.

At the counter, stood a young woman of average height. She had brown eyes and black hair that went up to just above her shoulders. She wore a yellow kerchief, an orange blouse with black sleeves and a long light blue skirt and orange sneakers with white soles and was diligently working away, cleaning some glass cups before preparing to tend to some men that were ready for a drink. Kade let out another deep breath, before walking to the counter to make conversation and find out what was going on.

The Partys Bar was a modest yet inviting establishment, its wooden walls steeped in the stories and laughter of Foosha Village. The air inside was warm and slightly smoky, carrying the mingled scents of ale, freshly cooked food, and the sea breeze that slipped in through the open windows. The wooden beams overhead were strung with simple decorations—fishing nets, seashells, and the occasional framed photograph of the village's fishermen and their prized catches. A large, well-worn counter dominated the space, behind which the bartender worked tirelessly to keep the patrons happy.

The bar was a hub of camaraderie and relaxation, with villagers seated at scattered tables, some playing cards while others shared hearty laughs over exaggerated tales of their exploits. The lively hum of chatter filled the room, punctuated by the occasional clink of glasses or a burst of boisterous laughter. Lanterns hung from the ceiling, casting a warm golden glow that made the room feel both cozy and alive.

At the heart of this bustling environment stood Makino, the bar's proprietor and soul. She moved with an effortless grace, her kind smile a beacon of warmth to all who entered. Her black hair, neatly tucked beneath her yellow kerchief, swayed gently as she worked. Her attire, practical yet vibrant, reflected her approachable personality.

"Welcome to Partys Bar," she greeted with a smile that seemed to put even the most anxious strangers at ease. "Can I get you something to drink? Or maybe some food?"

Her voice was soft but carried a natural confidence, a testament to her years of listening to the dreams and troubles of villagers and travelers alike. Her demeanor was calm and attentive, as if she had all the time in the world to hear whatever was on someone's mind.

Nearby, a group of villagers erupted into laughter, their merriment filling the room. Makino glanced at them fondly before returning her attention to her task behind the counter, her expression always warm and inviting. It was clear she was more than just a bartender—she was a confidante, a caretaker, and a vital part of Foosha Village's heart and soul.

Kade cautiously made his way towards the bar, caution that melted by the second as he was greeted by a welcoming smile.

"Welcome to Partys Bar, can I get you something to drink? Or maybe some food?" She questioned. Her voice was gentle yet carried an aura confidence in it's delivery, almost like she had done this a thousand times before.

"Just a glass of water would be fine." Kade responded, settling himself on a stool near the counter. He looked behind of him as the sound of laughter reached his ears. The locals all laughed merrily, cracking jokes about their escapades from past and present. This place was the definition of a good vibe, he would probably have to visit here again one day.

Turning back to Makino, he decided it was the perfect time to question her on the state of the island. "So...this place is pretty peaceful..." He began, not really used to talking to new people. He played with his thumbs nervously, thankfully his large afro covered his eyes hiding this fact from the owner. "I-I heard that this island was a bit more dangerous...that the place was divided by the rich and the poor. But this village.." he continued, gesturing towards the entire establishment.
"This place isn't what I imagined it to be. Tell me about Goa City and how do I get there from here?"

The Partys Bar exuded warmth, its wooden walls weathered yet sturdy, carrying the scent of ale, grilled fish, and the salty sea breeze. Lanterns swayed lazily from the rafters, casting a golden glow over the rustic interior. Faded photographs, fishing nets, and barrels lined the walls, giving the place a homey charm.

Villagers filled the bar with laughter and chatter, their voices blending into a lively hum. Some clinked their mugs in celebratory toasts, while others engaged in friendly debates over past adventures. A group of fishermen, still dressed in their salt-stained clothes, chuckled at the counter as they recounted tales of the sea. The atmosphere was warm, inviting—this was more than just a bar. It was a sanctuary, a gathering place for the people of Foosha Village.

Makino moved effortlessly behind the counter, her gentle yet confident demeanor making the space feel even more welcoming. With practiced ease, she poured drinks and served food, pausing occasionally to exchange a few words with the patrons.

Her gaze drifted toward the window, thoughtful.
Goa City, huh? she murmured, as if picturing the distant capital. This island has its share of divisions. Foosha Village is peaceful, but it’s not like the rest of the Goa Kingdom.”

She set down the cloth she had been using to wipe the counter, her expression softening.
Goa City is just a few hours from here, past the forests. It’s the heart of the kingdom—wealthy, clean, and… selective about who gets to live there.

A brief flicker of something unreadable crossed her face before she continued.
The nobles keep to themselves in High Town, while everyone else makes do in Edge Town, just outside the city walls. And then…She hesitated, choosing her words carefully. Further out, beyond the city, there’s Gray Terminal—a massive junkyard where people survive off whatever they can scavenge.”

Her gaze lingered on the villagers for a moment, her smile dimming slightly.
Foosha Village is lucky. We’re far enough away that the politics of Goa don’t reach us much. But out there? It’s a different world.

The clink of a bottle being set down nearby pulled her from her thoughts. With a practiced ease, she returned to tending the bar, her usual warmth settling back into place.

If you’re heading to Goa City, just follow the main road,” she advised. Then, after a brief pause, she added, But… be careful.”

Kade questioned Makino, wanting to find out the path to the famous Goa City. The woman obliged without hesitation, serving him his drink.

“Goa City, huh? This island has its share of divisions. Foosha Village is peaceful, but it’s not like the rest of the Goa Kingdom.” She replied in a low tone, deep in thought.

Kade had already figured out that much. This place was vastly opposite to the rumors he had heard.

“Goa City is just a few hours from here, past the forests. It’s the heart of the kingdom—wealthy, clean, and… selective about who gets to live there. The nobles keep to themselves in High Town, while everyone else makes do in Edge Town, just outside the city walls. And then…" She paused for a moment, seemingly choosing her words carefully. Kade silently raised a brow before continuing. "Further out, beyond the city, there’s Gray Terminal—a massive junkyard where people survive off whatever they can scavenge. Foosha Village is lucky. We’re far enough away that the politics of Goa don’t reach us much. But out there? It’s a different world.

"I see..." Kade muttered to himself. Looking down at his clentched fists, his memories took him back to the words of his father, a man as powerful as his morals. "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere". Similar to back home, there were always places that managed to escape the politics of the main kingdom. But Kade wasn't so lucky. He lived in the portion of his home where it was every man for himself. Dog eat dog. No one should have to experience living like that!

The sound of a bottle touching the counter brought Kade back to reality. “If you’re heading to Goa City, just follow the main road,” she finished before returning to her duties.“But… be careful.”

He was grateful her hospitality. He rose to his feet then downed the glass of water, savoring it's refreshing embrace in his body before placing the glass on the counter. He thanked her before he left, but not before asking her something else.
"Can I get your name? If you dont mind me asking."

The Partys Bar remained as lively as ever, its wooden beams creaking softly under the weight of footsteps and laughter. The warm glow of lanterns flickered along the walls, casting shadows over the well-worn tables where villagers gathered to drink and share stories of their day. The scent of salt, grilled fish, and aged rum filled the air, mixing with the faint sweetness of fresh bread.

Makino stood behind the counter, effortlessly moving between pouring drinks and engaging in quiet conversation. Her expression remained thoughtful for a moment, as if weighing the question before answering with a soft smile.

Makino,” she said simply, wiping down the counter with a practiced motion. Her voice carried the same warmth as her demeanor—gentle, yet steady, like a calming presence in the heart of the village.

A group of fishermen burst into laughter at a nearby table, their mugs clanking together in a boisterous toast. In the corner, an elderly man puffed on his pipe, listening quietly to the conversations around him. Outside, the sound of waves rolling against the docks provided a soothing backdrop to the evening’s festivities.

Makino glanced toward the door for a brief moment, her expression unreadable before her eyes returned to her work. “Safe travels,” she said kindly before turning to serve another patron, seamlessly blending back into the rhythm of the bar.

The Partys Bar would remain as it always had—a place of warmth and respite, untouched by the troubles of the world beyond Foosha Village.
