Skidding to a stop from the previous attack, Guernica demanded that the woman identified herself - but to no avail. Instead, Irra pressed on, seeing past Guernica's stalling tactic. As the burn marks were still stinging and before the paralysis could wear off, Irra appeared in front of Guernica. His eyes widened in shock, seeing such mastery of a Rokushiki technique - Soru. Before Guernica could get out of the way, Irra's fist flew forward, and in it, a Reject Dial. Bang!

An incredible shockwave erupted from the point of contact, engulfing Guernica and blowing him away. Guernica's limp body was seen flying through the air and blood was seen trailing from his mouth. Eventually crashlanding on the ground on his back, skidding a few more meters away before coming to a stop, Guernica was defeated. He was still conscious, still coughing up blood, but he could not move. A decisive victory - but, at what cost?

Soru...

Guernica whispered under his breath, coughing up more blood. His agents saw his defeat, quickly abandoning their battles. They all utilized Soru, disappearing from their locations and appearing next to Guernica, guarding him.

Guernica-sama...!

Maha said, crouching down next to Guernica.

This isn't good... what are those things...?

Stussy said, talking about the Seraphim. That was a fighting force that they had not taken into account.

Guernica-sama... we will need backup. I have already activated the Den Den Mushi...

Joseph said, Guernica gritting his teeth and clenching his fist.

Tsch... I messed up. This will not reflect well on us.

Guernica said, Joseph helping Guernica up. With his arm over Joseph's shoulder, Guernica stood, glaring at Irra.

Start retreating. We only need to buy a little time for him...

Guernica said. Joseph nodded and turned around together with Guernica. Employing Geppou, Joseph started to carry Guernica off the shore and toward the ship, which was in the water a good few hundred meters out at sea. The rest of the Cipher Pol Aigis agents confronted Irra, forming a blockade. The Seraphim landed behind Irra, arriving to help push through.

Egghead Island - #23
Shoreline
All for the sake of a friend. Sun's declaration reverberated across the battlefield. The subsequent blast sent the two warriors reeling in opposite directions, both wounded. Almost in unison with Guernica, Irra stood up, clutching her stomach wound and panting. She too had felt the impact. A Reject blast of that magnitude came with its drawbacks. Irra's use of Soru was identifiable, yet CP0 had indeed landed on a government island. Perhaps it would raise doubts. Sun had seized a single opportunity to inflict a severe injury on Guernica, a risk he had taken.

Guernica ordered a retreat, and a blockade of agents stood between the retreating agents and Irra. The Bloodhound managed to stand up, although she winced and spat blood, falling to her right knee. With resounding thuds, the Seraphim landed behind Irra. The woman smiled, catching her second wind, thanks to the arrival of backup. She stood amidst the Seraphim, ready to face the challenges together, as friends.
[Bloodhound] "DRIVE THEM BACK! EVERYONE TOGETHER!"
The Bloodhound drew her Burn Bazooka and aimed it at the blockade. The Seraphim, in perfect coordination, opened their mouths and directed their palms at the barrier. The Kuma Seraphim drew in air into his paws, compressing it. The Burn Bazooka, enhanced with Lightning and Axe Dials, reached its peak glow, while the numerous lasers emitted their highest intensity. Kuma Seraphim's palm emitted a menacing glow.

It was a unified attack.
[Bloodhound] "NOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!"
Suddenly, all blasts were unleashed in unison. The combined forces of light, electricity, slashes, fire, and impact coalesced into an enormous shockwave that closed the gap in an instant, several times the size of the blockade. The Kuma 'push' directed the blasts at the speed of light, carving a ravine below the shockwave as it traveled. Kuma's 'push' held the utmost importance; the attack's primary purpose was to propel anything in its path. The shockwave was aimed at pushing all members of Aegis back to their ship.

It was a clear message: 'Get the hell out'.

Don't know what DPS this would be. Probably 13? Meant to push them back more than hurt.

The Cipher Pol Aigis agents formed a blockade as Irra and the Seraphim behind her prepared to push through. Lightning, fire, light, cutting force, the elements charged up as the attack was being prepared. The Cipher Pol Aigis agents grit their teeth and clenched their fists, realizing what was coming. They had to stop the incoming attack at all costs - their leader, Guernica, was going back to the ship, injured. Perhaps this was a mistake. They were, after all, special agents. Leaving a wounded assassin to die was part of the job. But Guernica was more than a wounded assassin. He was their leader - the man who organized them, gave them structure, and purpose. And so they were not ready to lose their leader at this moment in time. The elements were expelled and a massive beam was fired toward the Cipher Pol Aigis agents. In unison, they pulled their arms backward, cupping their hands together next to their hips. Taking a step forward, in perfect sync, the Cipher Pol Aigis agents threw their arms forward as the beam came to engulf them.

Sai Dai Rin: Rokuogan...!

Sai Dai Rin: Rokuogan...!

Sai Dai Rin: Rokuogan...!

A massive shockwave was unleashed from the fists of the Cipher Pol Aigis agents, roaring with black Busou-shoku no Haki. It collided head on with the incoming beam and light engulfed the entire shoreline. The waters shook violently, as did the shore itself - a clash of large proportions. By the time the light cleared, the Cipher Pol Aigis agents were seen, pushed all the way to the edge of the water, knee deep. They were breathing heavily, burn marks and bruises on their bodies, clothing tattered. With further distance now between them and Irra and the Seraphim, the agents started to retreat as well. They pushed off of the ground, accelerating into Geppou and making their way toward the ship right after Guernica and Joseph. One of Dr. Vegapunk's Satellites, Shaka, landed on the shore next to Irra, speaking.

Do we pursue... or do we lick our wounds. Their movements are strange. It is unlike them to retreat. Something is going on...

The Seraphim and Irra joined forces to unleash a devastatingly large attack, aimed at clearing the barricade and pushing the Aegis back. The energy mass collided with a combined Rokuyougan, resulting in a powerful shockwave that shook the shoreline and sent waves across the island. Thanks to the S-Bear, the Seraphim's attack successfully pushed the Aegis back, clearing the island and ensuring Dr. Vegapunk's safety.

Shaka inquired about the next route to take, and Irra responded calmly, her gaze fixed on the Aegis in the distance.
[Bloodhound] "We hold. Even with Guernica wounded, a protracted fight with the Aegis will cost us many casualties. We've accomplished our goal..."
[Bloodhound] "Dr. Vegapunk is safe."
Irra, The Bloodhound, responded to Shaka with confidence. However, Shaka raised a valid point. The Cipher Pol's behavior was unusual. As an agent himself, Sun Wukong was the first to notice. Cipher Pol agents typically wouldn't retreat unless it served their mission. Surrendering their mission because their leader, even someone as crucial as Guernica, was injured, certainly raised some concerns.

[Bloodhound] "This invasion is not over yet. Let's regroup. Cipher Aegis does not give up on the mission that easily."

The celestial skirmish between the Seraphims and their nemeses, the Pol Agents, culminated in a tumultuous burst of mystical energy. The skirmishers had engaged in a series of intricate manoeuvres, yet the youthful sniper found himself unable to spot any vulnerabilities, rendering him powerless. Frustrated with his performance, he berated himself with a sharp "Tch!"

Sun would be disappointed in me. I could not even go back to the ground to face them after all those proclamations that I would support him. Damn it!

However, as he sat there, still with his woman form, he thought, What was their goal actually? I thought they were after the old man. It is not like they are actually losing the fight. Something is wrong.

The youthful marksman, wise beyond his years, deftly discerned the gravity of the moment. Bound to his perch, he awaited his commander's word, the one who beckoned him to this ruckus.

From a fight that quickly escalated, to an enormous eruption caused by the clash between the two parties, to an eerie silence. The sound of water washing up the shore, and then receding back, and then washing up the shore, and then receding back. It was quiet. The Cipher Pol Aigis fleet was seen on the horizon, but it did not look like they were approaching Egghead - nor did it look like they were retreating. A nervous ceasefire and standstill. What was coming next - unknown. Irra and Shaka concluded that it was time to regroup and recollect, for whatever was coming next. One thing was clear - the war was not over yet.

Irra and Shaka regrouped with Dr. Vegapunk and the rest of the satellites, the Seraphim with them as well. The youthful marksman was not with them - ashamed to show his face, after he had failed to leave his mark on the battle that had just passed. Dr. Vegapunk's group would retreat back to the technological city of Egghead. There, Sun, or if he remained in disguise, Irra, would be treated with utmost capability that Dr. Vegapunk's science had to offer. Special Pacifista models would begin to police and patrol the city and the rest of the island, while the Seraphim remained nearby, leaving little room for error, and little room for the possibility of a foe reaching Dr. Vegapunk.

The rest of the day passed quietly, and calmly - but nervously and on edge. The sun was starting to set slowly, but it was still ever so slightly above the horizon, illuminating Egghead Island with the dusk's rays. On the horizon, a Navy ship arrived.

The clash between Cipher Pol Aegis and Dr. Vegapunk's forces ended with a resounding bang. The latter successfully repelled the invasion, but it was clear the battle wasn't over. With Guernica defeated, the Cipher Pol agents retreated and stayed close to the mainland. Shaka and Irra decided not to pursue, leading to a stressful standstill. The agent opined that the Aegis weren't finished. The group regrouped and met up with Dr. Vegapunk.

Irra approached Hagiri on his perch, and Sun, known for her tactful approach to war, gently placed her hand on Hagiri's shoulder. They looked towards the Aegis ship in the distance.
[Bloodhound] "'Keep your attention on the shore, Hagiri. You're the only one who can keep us informed about their movements at this range.'"
1581
Instead of reprimanding the young man, Irra assigned him a new mission: to be their eyes. She recognized that his exceptional perceptual abilities surpassed those of anyone else in the group. In the midst of the standstill, Hagiri was entrusted with the vital role of keeping watch.

Once the group was fully regrouped, Irra attended to her wounds, taking advantage of the island's advanced medical expertise. She sighed with relief as she was patched up. While the use of the Reject Dial had its risks, for now, Dr. Vegapunk's safety was ensured.

As the smartest person in the world, Irra turned to Dr. Vegapunk and inquired about the island's defense mechanisms. They needed a plan, rather than merely standing around, as an eerie sight appeared on the horizon: an unfamiliar Navy ship.

Amidst the veil of vexation that shrouded him, Hagiri was met by Irra's gentle touch upon his shoulder. With words of encouragement, she sought to lift his spirit. Rather than chastising the youth for his previous misstep, Irra bestowed upon him a new quest - to serve as their eyes. For she saw in him a gift that surpassed all others in the group: a perceptual prowess that could not be denied. And so, amidst the impasse, Hagiri was entrusted with a vital role - that of vigilant sentinel over their endeavours.

With a surge of enchantment, Hagiri's lips curved into a smile, and he transformed back to his familiar masculine self. His garments, a manifestation of his mystical essence, were adorned with a crimson leather jacket, its grey collar belted in the centre. Beneath it lay a loose, off-white undershirt that danced with the breeze. Charcoal grey jeans and black shoes completed his attire, a reflection of his enigmatic nature. His complexion, an otherworldly pallor, was accentuated by his raven locks, cascading down to conceal his violet eyes, a window into his soul's magic.

"If only there's a way to fire my shots from a distance and still leave my post undiscovered, that would elevate my sniping abilities a hundredfold better.", he uttered but loud enough for even Vegapunk, Irra, and others to hear.

“But if a need to fight in close combat arises, I would not waste any opportunity to strike ahead.”, he told Irra.

"Back in my crew, I used to use the force field created by a fellow scientist like you to allow my bullets to remain silent, concealing my location from the enemies. I wonder if a certain machination is available here."

OOC: You guys made it a bit weird with the positions, in one sense you said Sun went back to the city to heal while Hagiri stayed on the shoreline to keep a lookout, in another sense you made it look like Hagiri didn't stay on the shoreline since he's talking to Vegapunk and Sun, and then in another sense you made it look like Sun was still on the shoreline since he was aware of the approaching ship. So I'll place you guys like you're meant to be in this post.

The battle of the Dr. Vegapunk fighting force, consisting of Sun, Hagiri and the Seraphim, against the invading forces of the Cipher Pol Aigis, resolved abruptly, ending with the Cipher Pol Aigis force retreating, essentially having been pushed off of the island. Sun, still transformed into the feisty female warrior that was Irra, regroup with Dr. Vegapunk, as well as Hagiri. Sun concluded that this battle was not yet over, but that they should not stretch out and pursue out at sea. Instead, Dr. Vegapunk and Sun were to go back to the city, where they could prepare for what was an inevitable invasion, while Sun recovered. The Seraphim would spread out to unknown locations around the island, while Hagiri was to stay at the shore, keeping an eye out for the invaders. But, not before Hagiri made a request.

Oh my... a gun that makes no sound when fired. A marvelous idea... but, it will take some time. If we survive all of this... I will make sure to create it!

Dr. Vegapunk said, a glint in his eyes, excited by the prospect of creating such a weapon. Little did Hagiri know, this was an easy thing to do, so it was barely some innovative idea. The reason why Dr. Vegapunk would need some time, is because he decided, in the moment, that he would make the weapon even better than that. And with that, Hagiri would bid farewell to the group, staying behind on the shore, while the rest went back to the city.

The rest of the day passed quietly, and calmly - but nervously and on edge. The sun was starting to set slowly, but it was still ever so slightly above the horizon, illuminating Egghead Island with the dusk's rays.

As the sun was setting on the horizon, a Navy ship arrived. Hagiri, with his watchful gaze, would be able to spot it as soon as it appeared on the horizon, still kilometers away from the shoreline. And yet, even that soon, was not soon enough. The moment the ship appeared on the horizon, the moment Hagiri was able to spot it, five powerful lasers would erupt from the ship's location, closing the distance to the island at the speed of light. The lasers hit the shoreline, erupting into massive, powerful explosions. The entire shoreline would shake - and only a moment after that, a ray of light would shoot through the obscurity created by the explosions. With the speed of light, the ray of light would blitz past the shoreline and disappear into the forest, right past Hagir. Speed Hagiri could do little about. He would have exactly 5 seconds. 5 seconds to inform Sun of the impending danger, before it would reach the city. Unparalleled speed. A terrifying foe.

The shoreline was bathed in the breathtaking hues of a sunrise, its golden glow almost resembling flames on the horizon. The once-charred earth stood as a stark testament to the battle that had raged along the shore—a battle far from its conclusion. The primary objective: securing the most intelligent man alive, all in pursuit of a dream—a dream of peace.

Cipher Aegis, having been repelled, retreated to their ship, leaving a tense and cold stillness to settle over the night. Under the veil of darkness, the Cipher Pol 9 agent slowly recovered, his mind weighed down by the weight of decisions made. A figurative line had been drawn in the sand, marking a pivotal moment in the Humandrill's lifelong dedication to this cause.

In the heart of the city, Sun remained close to Dr. Vegapunk as the night waned. With the fading darkness, the agent posed a simple yet profoundly important question, one that hung in the air like a promise of new beginnings.
[Bloodhound] "Dr. Vegapunk. Once I heard through the channels Cipher Pol was aiming for you, Leo-san sent me to help. However, I've yet to know why."- Sun stated, his words hanging on a inquiring thread
[Bloodhound] "If I may ask: why does the World Government suddenly betray you?"- asked the agent the question that lingered in the air

The agent approached with unwavering faith, a deep respect for Dr. Vegapunk and his groundbreaking works transcending conventional bounds. The promise of Vegapunk's technologies held the potential to alleviate the scourge of war, a prospect that stood unparalleled in its significance. Sun, guided by his profound respect for Leo and the Commander's vision of Justice, found himself entangled in a conflict, one where loyalty was proven with scars etched upon his very being.

As the night retreated, leaving room for the burgeoning dawn, the agent stood in anticipation, awaiting Dr. Vegapunk's reply. Unbeknownst to him, the approaching danger loomed, an ominous presence yet to reveal itself in the unfolding narrative of peace and progress.

Unknowing and oblivious of the events that were about to transpire, Sun, an agent of the Cipher Pols, but in truth a subordinate of Leonard Burns, posed a question to Dr. Vegapunk. It was a question that was waiting to be asked, for the complexity of the situation was perplexing. Dr. Vegapunk, to the world, was known as the lead scientist of the World Government. In other words, he was a man of the World Government. And so were the Cipher Pol Aigis - servants most closely related to the Celestial Dragons, as well as the Gorosei. Why would the Cipher Pol Aigis come after one of the World Government's most important people - their chief scientist? It was a situation that needed an answer, and an answer there was. Dr. Vegapunk had it.

I might be a part of the World Government officially... but, I am not in heart. My heart... lies with science. There was mutual benefit to my alliance with the World Government. They needed my inventions, and I needed a powerful institution backing me, so I could continue to innovate.

After all, without their funding and resources... most of my inventions, would not be born yet.

And so... we were never truly one and the same. Dr. Vegapunk and the World Government. It was but an alliance of convenience. And it appears... that convenience is running out. I am close to achieving almost unlimited resources, and as soon as I achieve that, I will no longer be bound by them. They will no longer be able to control me... and so, they will get rid of me, here and now.

Dr. Vegapunk said, a look of seriousness on his face. Suddenly, the look was cut by a warm smile.

Well...! At least that's my hypothesis! Huahaha!

But it appears, I have a new protector now. Leo-san... I read the letter you gave me. Initially, while you first handed it to me. And again, while you were fighting on the shoreline. It appears he needs my help!

As the night gave way to the burgeoning dawn, the agent stood in anticipation, waiting for Dr. Vegapunk's response. It was in this moment that the intricacies of the relationship between the World Government and the smartest individual alive were unveiled – a relationship built on convenience. Progress was the driving force, and Dr. Vegapunk teetered on the edge of achieving unlimited resources, a milestone that could potentially liberate him from the constraints imposed by his research investors.

The agent delved deep into thought, a chuckle escaping him as he contemplated the irony. In truth, Dr. Vegapunk's association with the World Government mirrored the agent's own connection with the Pols, a revelation that carried a certain poetic weight. It was almost as if fate itself affirmed the alignment of their allegiances.

Yet, one word struck a chord in Sun more than most. Leo needed "help".
[Bloodhound] "I haven't read the letter, for my trust in Leo-san is vast. However, if he needs help, I want to know if I can aid."- Sun stated, his words hanging on a inquiring thread
[Bloodhound] "Forgive my impetus question. How does Leo-san need help?"- Sun asked

Concern for a friend welled up within the agent, the Humandrill named Sun. Having refrained from reading the letter, Sun had placed his trust in Leo's message. Now, with the revelation that part of it involved aiding Leo, a desire to extend help surged within Sun. He yearned to understand how he could contribute to his friend's cause.

Hagiri stayed on the shoreline after the first battle concluded. Sun Wukong left him a den den mushi to use when an emergency arises. He kept it inside his pocket after turning back to his MALE appearance. No need to disguise he thought. A Navy ship arrived many moments later and several gazing at the horizon transpired. From the ship's depths, five majestic lasers surged forth, their luminescence piercing the veil of darkness as they raced towards the distant island at the speed of light. As they reached the shore, a thunderous detonation rents the air, shaking the very foundations of the coastline. And in the wake of the explosions, a beam of light emerged, illuminating the chaos with its blinding brilliance. Swift as a comet, it soared past the shoreline and vanished into the verdant embrace of the forest.

"??!"

Hagiri drew the den den mushi and immediately tried to contact his comrade-would-be. But he dropped the equipment as soon as the enemy emerged behind him. He slowly turned his gaze towards the foe while drawing his pistol and a deck of cards.

The den den mushi on the other end would most likely hear whatever transpired during Hagiri's encounter. But the question is, could he handle the foe?

"He's heeere!!!"

The five powerful lasers detonated upon hitting the shoreline, engulfing the beach in five mighty explosions. The entire area rocked, truly power unparalleled. What kind of a foe was coming? In a chaotic rush, Hagiri reached for the Den Den Mushi that he had on him, but due to the rush, he dropped the Den Den Mushi to the ground. A silhouette appeared behind Hagiri, causing the latter to turn around and draw his firearm in self defense. Hagiri shouted, hoping that the Den Den Mushi would pick up his words and relay them to Sun. The moonlight would illuminate the large man that towered over Hagiri.

Oi oi, put that thing away would ya...

Uncle is here...

He called me ahead of time... saying I shouldn't get in his way. But, if this all goes down without us doing anything... it won't end well.

The towering, bulky man said, his trusty, oversized axe resting on his shoulder.

In the city, Dr. Vegapunk and Sun were talking, the latter asking what help Leo needed from the former. Dr. Vegapunk looked at Sun, answering his question straightforwardly.

It appears Leo-san... needs me to reconstruct his bod-!

*BANG*

Three massive explosions erupted at the edge of the technological city, illuminating the dark sky of the night. The shockwaves spread throughout the city, causing it all to rock and rumble. Some of the leaner, less sturdy towers swayed in the powerful winds, and many of the windows shattered.

"He's heeere!!!"
The Den Den Mushi shouted, Hagiri's call reaching Sun and Dr. Vegapunk.

Sun Wukong, with an air of anticipation, queried Dr. Vegapunk about the contents of the letter, his words lingering in the air with a thread of inquiry. In response, there was a momentary pause as the genius inventor began to share the story, hinting at the need for Sun's expertise in reconstructing something. However, before the crucial details could be revealed, a shocking turn of events unfolded.

Explosions reverberated around them, shaking the very ground beneath their feet. The scale of destruction was unparalleled, prompting Sun to reflect that he had witnessed such an event only once before in his life. The sudden chaos left the air charged with uncertainty, as the very earth trembled beneath the weight of unforeseen turmoil. Sun heard Hagiri's voice screaming through the den den mushi - a warning.
[Bloodhound] "What the hell could cause so much destruction?!- screamed the agent in shock
[Bloodhound[ "Get behind me, Dr. Vegapunk!"- Sun said, flanking Dr. Vegapunk with his body

In the midst of the explosive chaos, the agent, still maintaining the guise of a female, felt the rattling force of the blasts surrounding them. Even a polished operative like him recognized the true power when it manifested. Positioned near Dr. Vegapunk, the Bloodhound promptly flanked the genius inventor, drawing his Eisen Pole and transforming it into a shield around the old man ready to defend against any potential threats.

Concern for Hagiri resonated in the agent's actions, and he urged the young man to respond through the den den mushi, seeking an update amid the turmoil. Whether a reply would come remained uncertain, adding to the air of tension that enveloped them. Sun Wukong kept his senses heightened, fully aware that the onset of war had now become an undeniable reality.

The three massive mushroom clouds rose toward the sky at the edge of the technological city, the view from a distance reminiscent of an apocalypse. Powerful winds ripped through the city, borne of the shockwaves that resulted from the explosions. Sun, rattled by the sudden attack, hurried to defend Dr. Vegapunk, using an Eisen Dial to form an Eisen Shield in protection of the genius scientist. The shockwaves that spread throughout the city caused the building that they were in to tremble as well. Things that were hung on the walls fell down, breaking. Lights started to flicker on and off. Dr. Vegapunk and Sun were in the Labophase. And then it happened again.

*BANG*

As many as ten mightily powerful, large and light fast lasers flew through the sky and collided with the Frontier Dome - a laser defense system formed by two bands that encircle the cloud that hosts the Labophase. Both of the bands were hit by a number of the lasers, which resulted in more massive explosions.

Oh n-no! THE FRONTIER DOME IS DOWN?!

Dr. Vegapunk shouted in disbelief - this was unparalleled and unconceivable to Dr. Vegapunk, who pioneered this incredible defensive system, which could keep a whole Buster Call at bay. The sheer shock, even fear, in Dr. Vegapunk's voice, would perhaps rattle Sun further. They were sitting ducks in here - what would Sun do?

sorry really for the activity. old man got a rough time. but all is good now yeah. will do my best to keep up.
A Chaotic Scene of Destruction in the Technological City

Meanwhile, back at the shore, Hagiri turned. Amid all the explosion, stood a towering colossus of a man, his brawny frame casting a shadow, his trusted, colossal axe resting on his broad shoulder. "?!!"

"Uncle?!"

"Who the hell is tha►"

Hagiri was not able to conclude his speech as the outskirts of the technological city, three enormous mushroom clouds ascended toward the sky, resembling a post-apocalyptic scenario from afar. The explosions created powerful winds that ravaged the city, shaking buildings and causing objects on walls to fall and shatter. As the shockwaves spread, the Labophase where Dr Vegapunk and Sun were located started to tremble, and the lights flickered intermittently. In a swift move, Sun rushed to protect the eminent scientist by forming an Eisen Shield using a special weapon. However, it was not over yet: another explosion again shook the ground.

Destruction of Frontier Dome by Ten Powerful Lasers occurred thereafter a group of ten extremely powerful and fast lasers flew through the sky and hit the Frontier Dome.

Hagiri crawled down and grabbed the mushi once more. "Sun. If you are there. You gotta get over here as fast as you can."

"This man here with an axe says, Uncle is here."

"What is going on here?"

Hagiri's eyes wandered around only to witness the total devastation of the dome that was supposed to protect whoever was in there. He let the mushi open and then began talking to the man who just arrived. "Who the hell are you? And who's this uncle you're talking about? Was the one behind all that explosion?"

"An enemy."

He let the mushi open and then began talking to the man who just arrived. "Who the hell are you? And who's this uncle you're talking about? Was the one behind all that explosion?"

The three massive mushroom clouds rose toward the sky in the distance behind Hagiri. Soon, the winds caused by the enormous explosions carried the dust from the mushroom clouds all over the technological city, sweeping the city like a tsunami of dust. Only moments thereafter, ten more massive explosions rocked the frontier dome and brought it down in one fell swoop. Truly unprecedented, a seemingly invisible monster was upon Egghead Island. A technological city on fire.

Hagiri spoke into the Den Den Mushi once more, relaying information to Sun. ''Uncle'' was here. Sun wouldn't know who that is, but Dr. Vegapunk did.

T-this is trouble...

Dr. Vegapunk, stuttering, said, Hagiri hearing it over the Den Den Mushi.

It must be... Admiral Kizaru.

Dr. Vegapunk said. As soon as those words came out of the Den Den Mushi on Hagiri's end, the large man standing in front of Hagiri nodded. What came next, was equally as shocking. Walking out of the shadows of the forest at night, and walking right up to the large man that stood in front of Hagiri, were powerful weapons that Hagiri had seen earlier in the day. Just what in the world were they doing here, and what was going on? Who was an enemy, who was not?

Egghead Island - #29
Egghead City
The unexpected assault on the Frontier Dome, disabling Egghead's renowned technological defenses, sent shockwaves through Sun Wukong. Dr. Vegapunk's shocked voice mirrored the agent's own surprise, their realization sinking in simultaneously. What was once a fortress now faced a dire invasion, and Sun couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding.

Hagiri's voice erupted through the Den Den Mushi, piercing through the chaos. Sun's focus shifted to the distant cloud of smoke, almost entranced by the unfolding events. It took the word "Uncle" to jolt him out of his reverie, turning his attention back to the Den Den Mushi. His heart pounded in his chest as the sounds of explosions and fire seemed to fade, replaced by the faint whisper of a name escaping Dr. Vegapunk's astonished lips.

Admiral Kizaru.

The revelation hung in the air like an ominous cloud, leaving Sun Wukong and Dr. Vegapunk grappling with the weight of this unexpected and formidable adversary.
[Bloodhound] "That's not a foe we can defeat..."- the agent whispered to himself, unknowingly loud enough for Dr. Vegapunk to hear

In the tense silence that followed the revelation of Admiral Kizaru's involvement, Dr. Vegapunk did not require Sun Wukong's words to comprehend the gravity of the situation. The fear was palpable, and this was the pivotal moment—whether to allow a dream to shatter or to fight until it showed signs of cracking. All eyes were fixed on Sun Wukong, the man standing at the forefront, who had already admitted his perceived inferiority to the Admiral. The Humandrill's expression remained stoic, his face frozen by the weight of the name.

Then, breaking the silence, the agent's voice rang out—a response that would lay bare the essence of Sun Wukong and reflect the conviction that Leo would undoubtedly be proud of.

[Bloodhound] "I don't care about my mission. I don't care about my dream. I don't care if I fall to Kizaru here. All I care about... is we save my friend!"- the agent stated, tears bubbling

[Bloodhound] "I know what we would risk if we go there. But please, Dr. Vegapunk… allow me to go to Hagiri!"- Sun Wukong asked, the flames of determination glowing in his eyes
The fires of destruction cast a shadow on Sun Wukong's kind yet determined face, reflecting the inner resolve burning within him. The Humandrill had traversed a long and challenging path for the sake of his dream. However, when it came to his friends, he was willing to cast it all away. Sun Wukong would not stand idly by and let another friend fall.

The darkness of the dusk, the tsunami of dust and debris sweeping over the technological city, the gigantic mushroom clouds in the distance, fires set off around the technological city from large debris falling and the frontier dome collapsing down on the city in large chunks. And then, the weight of a legendary name. Admiral Kizaru. Truly, an apocalypse had descended on Egghead Island. Sun's body froze for a moment and fear showed on his facial expression. Not an immense amount of fear, but a healthy amount of fear that anyone in this world would feel if they heard an Admiral was coming after them.

And then, resolve followed. Sun's expression changed, and he looked at Dr. Vegapunk, asking him to let him go to Hagiri. Dr. Vegapunk answered, reassuring Sun.

Keep calm, young agent. Now is not the right time to act in haste.

Dr. Vegapunk said, picking up the Den Den Mushi and speaking into it. Who was an enemy, and who was not? It would be revealed now.

Sentomaru-kun, you have a choice to make. What is it?

Dr. Vegapunk said, his words reaching the other end of the Den Den Mushi, where Hagiri was - the name of the large man revealed to be Sentomaru.

I will fight to keep peace, of course.

Sentomaru said. Dr. Vegapunk exhaled in relief.

Thank you, Sentomaru-kun. I know this will be hard on you. I will see you soon.

Dr. Vegapunk said, hanging up.

Sun-kun... Sentomaru-kun and the Seraphim will assist us. I have located Admiral Kizaru through the surveillence system. I will give you directions. Go stop him. By the time you arrive, many allies will be there already, to assist you.

Dr. Vegapunk said, patting Sun's shoulder.

Thank you, Sun-kun. I see why Leo-san chose you now.

And with that, it was time for Sun to risk it all. Meanwhile, in the forest, Sentomaru looked down at Hagiri, a man much smaller in size, but with a valuable skillset.

I assume you're coming with us. If so, come here.

Sentomaru said, stepping next to the Seraphim that represented the legendary Shichibukai, Bartholomew Kuma.

This is S-Bear. He will bring us to Uncle.

Oh, and these are S-Snake, S-Shark, S-Hawk.

And the other three ar-

Before Sentomaru could finish the introduction, S-Bear rapidly touched everyone. In an instant, they were gone. Hagiri was the last to go, but he, too, would go, provided he went along with it. The last thing Hagiri would see, would be S-Bear's palm coming to him. The next blink of the eye, Hagiri would find himself on the battlefield.

Setting the stage...

Admiral Kizaru stood, the Admiral's height towering. Confronting him, standing together, were the Seraphim, along with Sentomaru and Hagiri. Around them were the streets of the technological city, illuminated by the numerous fires around the city. The dark sky was above them. The final battle of Egghead Island was set.

Uncle, let us stop this.

Sentomaru said, the Admiral surprised by his appearance.

Ooooo, Sentomaru-kuuun... what is the meaning of this?

Kizaru said, glaring.

Uncle... you know of the debt I have to Old Man Punk.

Sentomaru-kun. Is this a decision you are sure of? It will have dire consequences...

Kizaru said, Sentomaru gritting his teeth. The Seraphim got into fighting positions, understanding Kizaru's threat.
