A new experiment, a new result. With a new experiment to test out the limitations of The Maker’s ability, Shaka is able to further observe what are the results. The first two parts of the experiment seems to be working as intended. However, on the third part of the experiment – it failed somewhat unexpectedly. Shaka wasn’t sure why, though the reasons are unclear as to why it failed. That said, Shaka notice the paradoxical nature of the fruit. It wouldn’t be easy, well at least to figure a way to utilize the fruit for science.
“Seems like your fruit cannot expand in size with anything that is too small, and it seems that at the very least the limit is something as small as a hair. However, the fact that you cannot manipulate molecules directly, only indirectly with general objects means that your ability is paradoxical in nature.”
Shaka noted after the failure to increase the size of a small hair. Being unable to change the speed of water isn’t necessarily a problem as The Maker as already confirmed that he could on his own. But now the problem is that for the manners in which The Maker wanted to work with his ability for scientific use becomes much narrower.
“This might be quite limiting to utilize your fruit for creation purposes, well at least scientifically speaking.”
Shaka commented on the difficult nature and limitation of the ability. However, Shaka quickly continued on.
“However, even though you can’t manipulate certain things directly. It is possible to create something indirectly. But in order for us to see how you can create something indirectly, we need to know if an increase in size changes more than just its physical size.”
Shaka paused for a moment. Chemical reactions would be harder to test, and at this point perhaps chemistry is not the right idea to work with. Another way to test is if something can indeed change from just a physical alteration. But here, there aren’t many things one can use to test in a simpler manner.
“For example, if you increase the size of a battery, would the amount of voltage in the battery increase as well? Can a 5-minute battery turn into a 5-hour battery?”
Shaka pondered loudly. Have The Maker attempted something like this? Shaka would turn his attention towards several drawers where he would seem to search around for something he could use, and perhaps lucky enough – several objects could be found and used. With this, Shaka would pass a couple of them to The Maker, one in which is a small battery, and the other – a small magnet.
“For the time being, hold on to the magnet but do amplify the size of the battery several times. A large magnet might be particularly dangerous if you increase its size.”
Shaka would then touch his helmet where the antenna is normally located.
“Could you bring some magnetic materials and a multimeter to the chemistry main lab?”
Shaka spoke seemly to no one, but in truth – the communicator in his helmet allowed him to communicate with others like a walkie-talkie. It would take some time, but eventually – someone would open the door into the building in which Shaka and The Maker is currently at. A voice followed by a large pear-shape like mechanical robot – vastly different from the Pacifista. Red and cream in colour, the word “PUNK 04” could be seen on the chest where the heart is located.
“I have brought the multimeter and several magnetic materials, Shaka.”
"Thank you Pythagoras."
Pythagoras, the other Vegapunk satellite has arrived. Here, the two satellites would come together to help run the experiment, with the very first thing they would test for, is the voltage of the presumed larger battery that The Maker would have amplified. Shaka would then take the Multimeter from Pythagoras and place it on the battery with its testing tips.
