Island G-5

As notorious as the New World is, one wouldn't be surprised to find out that even the marines here don't play by the rules all the time. Such is the case with G-5, one of the main bases of the World Government in this hostile sea. The soldiers stationed here are not unfamiliar with torture and killing of pirates, and anyone they deem suspicious. For this they have earned a reputation as bloodthirsty warmongers and even some civilians fear them. The only person who seems remotely trustworthy around here is Vice-admiral Vergo, the base commander. Even though it all started going downhill after his arrival, none of it seems to be able to be traced back to him.

After Vergo and Donqiuxote Doflamingo's defeat:
After his defeat at the hand of members of the World Government, former Vice-Admiral Vergo made his way to Dressrosa in search of aid from his actual comrades. There he found destruction and death, several of the leaders and Doflamingo himself having been killed by pirates. Taking with him those that had survived and fleeing the city and island, Vergo returned to G-5, taking over the base with his found family, imprisoning any marines left behind and turning several of them into battle dolls using Sugar's devil fruit.

New World. G-5. It had been months since a single pirate invaded Dressrossa Kingdom and destabilized the country. The Joker, an extremely powerful pirate with hopes of the strongest, was defeated. Many high-ranking officers of the Doflamingo Pirates were defeated. The country passed on to be under the flag of the Spada Pirates first and Vampirates second. Ruin befell them. One member of the Doflamingo Pirates was not in the country at the time of uproar. An elite officer of the Doflamingo Pirates, one of four, had been driven out of G-5. He went to Dressrossa to link up with his captain, only to find the crew in shambles. The man bore hate for his heart for the name of the one who felled his family: Eventide Spectre.

The whereabouts of the elite officer became a mystery. Even Cipher Pol could not find any trace. However, the newly-found Cross Guild cast their net of pirates across the sea. The intel came back, showing Vergo returned to G-5, taking over the base, imprisoning any marines left behind and turning several of them into battle dolls using Sugar's devil fruit. Indeed, when the woman seeking to end the chapter of the Doflamingo Pirates got the intel, she'd find it led straight to a lion's den: G-5.

In the Naval Marine base, the sounds of bodies hitting the floor thudded. From the bodies of Marine G-5 soldiers, a pointed bloody finger receded. Toys in the shapes of Marines were strewn all over the room. A single man took out an entire platoon that refused to obey. When the camera receded, it showed a tall, light-skinned, lean, yet muscular man with short dark hair, a beard, sideburns, and sunglasses. From his sideburns on, his facial hair grew horizontally. On his cheek it grew downwards with a point. The figure wore a white knee-length trench coat that had a quilted design which stopped just below his waist. The infamous shades showed his identity.

Vergo returned to G-5, taking over the base with those who survived the events at Dressrossa, imprisoning any marines left behind and turning several of them into battle dolls using Sugar's devil fruit. A base of operations that promised the return of the Doflamingo Pirates. Yet, the island was heavily guarded. If not by the World Government name, then by the structure. The island was surrounded by Marine ships, with HQ against a mountain, heavily defended from ground assault at the front. What's more, others officers of Doflamingo Pirates housed the base, fitting for both prisoners and toys.

The hunter would receive a map, seemingly drawn by a child, yet hauntingly accurate. The last chapter of the crew of the Joker would come to pass.

Feltyrosa had received her target from the large tent. She held on tightly to the poster. Instructions were simple. Capture Vergo and at least 3 of Doflamingo's former crew and present them to the Cross Guild. Then she would get paid for cleaning up her own mess. Walking out of the tent, Feltyrosa and Jeanne prepared to take off. After stopping to eat a delicious leg of turkey, Feltyrosa was ready to fly again. Nervously, Jeanne prepared herself for another flight. Feltyrosa picked her up and they were off. At an impressive speed, they made great time. The wind was causing the paper to flap wildly but it remained tightly gripped in Feltyrosa's hand. Soon, they neared the island. It was rather well fortified. A direct assault would normally prove difficult.

"Ha. Those fools probably never expected an assault like this..."

Feltyrosa said as she flew above all their defenses. Even if they noticed her, mere cannon fire was nothing to her Hollows. She would easily breach the island. With a graceful descent, she and Jeanne were now on G5. Feltyrosa scanned the area and told Jeanne to follow her. Her job was simply. Distract who she could from Doflamingo's crew while the majority of Feltyrosa's attention was on Vergo. Assuming any of his surviving crew could withstand her Conqueror's Haki.

G-5 Base: The Runway
The Demon Bamboo, Vergo, had returned to G-5 after witnessing the destruction wrought by a 'Feltyrosa' on Dressrossa (yes, that rhymed). He took with him those that survived the invasion. A sect under his leadership, they had used the time in isolation to shore up might for the return of the Donquixote Pirates. In doing so, they captured the Marines at G-5 and held them hostage, some as toys, to shore up the defenses as the last standing base for the fallen crew. Eyes would be out in the ocean as the main base tinkered with experiments in hopes of restoring them to power. But we're getting ahead of ourselves.

From the sky, an infamous irate flew through the air. The very woman who forced the Donquixote Pirates fall, appeared over the waters of G-5. Feltyrosa. Now a member of the Spada Pirates, bountied with $750,000,000, even more than Doflamingo himself, the woman sought her target: Vergo. An aerial assault, the woman was able to forgo much of the defenses Vergo had set up. The woman flew over the battleships and cannons that overlooked the sea. However, the watchful eyes of those who were turned into toys, unable to even sleep, caught a glimpse of the shadow of death looming above them.

The alarm blared. From her spot up in the sky, Feltyrosa could appreciate the Marine Base she approached. As the map she had suggested, the base was built into a mountain. The only exposed part of the base had a large balcony-like structure that was used to land helicopters. Cannons and dozens of Marine toys and weaponry adorned it as a first line of defense of the base. If one would traverse it, they'd meet the actual building, spiraling up from its wide base to it's high-tower at the top. There was no sense of how the base inside looked.

[G-5 Toy] "FIRE AT WILL!!!"​

With those words, the runway became active. Cannons, gunfire, and explosive shells fired on the flying intruder, intent on taking her down. Additionally, half a dozen G-5 Marines, all dolls, took to the sky. Perhaps it would be odd to see toys moving. The dolls used Geppo to intercept the woman. It was clear they were expendable, for the cannon fire and bullets did not stop on their accord. The first battle, an aerial battle over the runway, had begun.

Can you also specify how Jeanne got to the island? I presume she can't fly like Feltyrosa. Hollows are intangible, if memory serves me correctly.

G-5 Hunt 02 @Ichimonji
Feltyrosa was spotted and she wasn't sure by what. Her mantra didn't alert her to a human presence. Some sort of hidden technology? She would have to figure it out later. Cannonball fire was imminent. She would let loose several explosive Hollows that would intercept the cannon fire. She descends to the ground and sets Jeanne down. It was already time for action despite her advantage in travel method. She had thought she would infiltrate further before being discovered but was prepared for an all-out war all the same. With the intent of impacting everyone but Jeanne, she lets loose a pulse of her Conqueror's Haki to quickly incapacitate the fodder.

"Jeanne stick by me, and intercept any of Doffy's remnants. Vergo is mine."

"Of course, Milady."

The two of them proceeded to raid G-5, looking for any signs of Vergo or Doffy's old crew.

G-5 Base: The Runway
The invading army, composed of only two, took to the air. When toys came to greet them in the air, and bullets rained on them. The woman would note the toys had no true presence, but they were aiming for her hear nonetheless. G-5 soldiers turned to toys, forgotten. The woman used explosive ghosts to protect herself and her companion from the barrage, landing safely in The Runway. Surrounding her was a plethora of soldiers, all coming out from the large metal door that led inside G-5 base. They surrounded both woman and pointed their guns. The two would do good to note that a goos 2/3 were toys adorned with Marine suits. Others were clearly pirates.

Suddenly, a burst of haki enveloped the Runway. The bodies of the many fell with continuous thuds.

The cameras around the base and the Runway zoomed in. The cannon fire had stopped with no one to man them. With a single burst, the invading Feltyrosa took down the welcoming party and had a clear path inside the main G-5 base, having bypassed all of outer security.

Assuming, but not deciding, Feltyrosa and company would take. the only path forward through the metal door ajar, she'd find the base made up of metal and technology. Technology not seen before, even in Dressrossa. It'd take a minute or two of passing through corridors, but the duo would eventually come up to a large room that housed two doors at the end: the only way through. The large room was 30-meters in diameter of steel construct. Clearly a training facility, this had been modified. There were dozens upon dozens of weaponry on the walls and roof. Bazookas, rifles, lasers, machine guns, swords, bombs, mortars - you name it. Only one person in the world could make such volume of weapons part of the walls.

A voice clamored, booming around the room.

[Baby 5] "Look at that, old man! We got some visitors! You'd think they know who they're messing with! The Donquixote Pirates!"​

[Lao G] "Foolhardiness is the quiver of youth, Baby 5."​

A second voice came clearer than the last. An old man walked slowly from one of the two doors. He seemed to be feeble, his legs shaking, yet his gaze constant. Old, short, and bald, the grey bears adorned his wrinkled skin. He wore a blue jumpsuit with a lightning bolt. His belt showed who he was: G. Leo G, an officer of the Donquixote Pirates. The woman was not seen, her position clouded. With both invaders with precognition, they could not point the voice's position. It seemed to come from all around them, from all the weapons. Baby 5.

Suddenly, the woman's voice clamored, now taking good look at the invader.
