The first 5 seasons were epic. You’ll addict it.
However, D&D (the producers) swayed away from the original author (Martin) plot and cut a lot of necessary scenes short and even removed characters, this made the show go down, very down to be exact. Last season was soooo disappointing cuz we had to wait 2 years and so much hype was building about the real antagonist of the series, the outcome, however, was never close to living up to the expectations, to the point millions of fans around the world have requested HPO to reproduce the last season.

I guess that all the hype around GoT had an opposing effect on me and that's why I haven't seen it, the fact that it was shoved up on me by friends and relatives and the fact that it made such a global impact in a short period of time is what bounced my attention off of it. Also the fact that parts of the show were filmed in a lot of towns in my country including my home city.

It felt like it was forced upon me to watch it and follow it and that's exactly why I haven't watched a minute of it. :thonkcool:

i didn't like it because of the hype as well. wherever i go, there must be these punch of ppl who are debating about who's better, starks, targaryans or lannisters .... no fuck those. anyway, my point is. i was like you in the begining, that's until i decided to watch it to kill time, i was so surprised of how good is the show, but eventually, D&D really killed all the elements of excietments, overall, my advice to you is to watch it, cuz if you watch the 8 seasons in one go, it will probably leave a good overall impression.

I binged watched this series to feel disappointed at the end. I still didn't watch past the war with the Night King because I was so disappointed by the season.

Cersei should have killed everyone at that meeting, she lost a good chance :pepehands:

I would say it was great enough to be top 5 or even top 3 but then things just collapsed
Most actors were very good, soundtracks, special effects... and basically everything other than writing was brilliant.

That's a wise choice you made right there. The following episodes are even more disappointing. The last episode is absolotely shit with 0 logic in it. And speaking of logic, The battle of Winterfel was as illogical as an episode can go, the night king's dragon can easily obliterate a reinforced stone wall to the ground but for some reason cannot destroy a single rock in yard ... oh right perhaps the reason is because Jon Snow was taking cover behind it, GTFO D&D :pepehammer:

Yeah I know, the episodes has a lot of flaws in terms of logic. Not to mention the production, like forgetting that starbucks cup and the watter bottle, lmao. They cared very little for the last season which is a shame, because we were all expecting a lot from it.

Jon Snow should have stayed dead. Melissandre did the worst thing in the world by reviving him :feelsbadman:

But I'm not a Daenerys supporter. I'm a Sansa/Cersei supporter :weirdpeep:

Sansa in the first seasons got on my nerves and Cersei was a real :feelsbetrayingman:
although i must admit things have changed dramatically in the later seasons.
i'm not a 100% Dany guy but i absolotely hate the idea od Dany x jorah, the dude never gets he is being rejected over and over and always try to enter the "Queen" zone but gets rejected once again aghhhhh

The first 4 seasons were great coz most of the content was lifted directly from the books. Things started going sideways when the show outgrew the books. Still it is an awesome show the ending though left a lot to be desired.

This was a very good show I enjoyed a large portion of it, would consider my self a fan. But the last two seasons certainly weren't as good as the ones before. The way it all ended was very disappointing not gonna lie but first 5 seasons are worth watching if interested! :)

Pretty sure this series only had six seasons. Been on hiatus since Cersei blew up the sept and Jon was named KITN. Can't wait for Dany to make it to Westeros with her three dragons.

I wish i had waited some time after season 8 aired and listened to other viewers and should never had watched it. I fear it might even ruin my first perfect 5 seasons when i rewatch it again given how the show ended.

I am waiting for the Books, maybe they can provide the better ending we all need.
