Well shit, they want me to kidnap the old king and his apparent idiot son that now holds tha throne, that could be a lil bit tricky

“Mm, that might be a lil bit tricky don’tcha think? That castles gonna be guarded and swarmed with soldiers and shit”
Hack strongly assured the newcomer that a tremendous force of 250 experienced troops will be at their disposal, ready to aid them in conquering the difficult terrain ahead. He expressed his unshakeable faith in their combined ability to efficiently manage any encounter, not just dealing with the less experienced soldiers but also overcoming any difficulties provided by the attentive guards. This assurance of a strong and capable coalition strengthened the idea that they were well-prepared to face and overcome any problems that may arise along the way.

“So any reason why that tha chick with tha hat sent you along instead of herself? It was her idea to kidnap these people after all.
During their comprehensive discussion of the infiltration expedition inside hostile territory, Hack underlined the essential need of meticulous planning. He emphasized the need of contemplating all possible scenarios that may emerge during their dangerous activity, as well as the need for a well-thought-out backup plan. This care, Hack stated, was critical to ensure their ability to avoid potential hazards like as capture or being besieged by opposing forces.

Furthermore, Hack showed unshakeable faith in their allies' fearsome talents, emphasizing her superior power in comparison to his. Should the need arise, he emphasized that she may play a critical role in leveraging her power to rally support from the soldiers, therefore increasing their prospects of victory in the face of adversity.

In delving further into the fundamental reasoning of their audacious aim, Hack pointed to the enormous scale of their united goal. By launching this planned effort, he signified the beginning of a strategic strategy aimed at eventually wresting sovereignty of the disputed region from tyrannical governments. In expressing the high ideals they hoped to attain, Hack constructed a picture of a future in which the suffering masses might be freed from tyranny and despotic aristocrats would finally be held accountable for their terrible deeds.

Plus any idea how we gonna sneak into an armed castle?”
To adequately prepare for the next operation, Hack took the opportunity to expound on his strategy plan to his fellow teammates. He underlined the need for their approach to be careful and well-thought-out, proposing a smart and unconventional strategy to assist them disguise their movements from the city's defences. The intended approach required cautious manoeuvring via an undiscovered passage that went parallel to the city walls and the towering peak in the distance. By avoiding these impediments, they were able to advance closer to the castle's weaker side, where the odds of a successful invasion were greater.

Hack understood the importance of time in their mission and advocated launching their attack at night, when the opposing soldiers were most likely to be sleeping and the guards were least watchful. This strategic window of opportunity would give them the advantage and boost their chances of carrying out a well-coordinated strike with little opposition.

Understanding the significance of the upcoming mission, Hack underlined the need of collaborative brainstorming to the new allies, emphasizing the need for a diversity of methods to ensure the operation ran well and with few losses on either side. It was critical that they handled the approaching venture with subtlety and ingenuity, utilizing each individual's abilities to overcome the obstacles that lied ahead in their drive for success and triumph.

Hack wanted to know whether "you have any specific strategies or tactics in mind for countering the attack that is looming ahead."

“Shit that makes things a lot easier, I was worried this would jus turn into a big ahh brawl between tha two of us and a fuxkin army of dudes”

That actually plays right into what I kinda had planned, hmm….

Mulling over what Hack was telling me on our stroll, we turned a corner continuing closer towards the city. We’d arrive in another 10min

Hack showed unshakeable faith in their allies' fearsome talents, emphasizing her superior power in comparison to his. Should the need arise, he emphasized that she may play a critical role in leveraging her power to rally support from the soldiers, therefore increasing their prospects of victory in the face of adversity.

“Huh, she’s stronger than you? Well ion really know how strong you are so I guess that doesn’t really help me much. Ion think I’ve seen or noticed anyone so far that’s even as strong as any of tha three of us. So that should play into our favor should shit go belly up. Tho it seems we Kant have that happen considering this is a kidnapping.”

“Yea, yea. I have a general idea of how I wanna play this. But a backup plan couldn’t hurt, just cause I haven’t found any strong soldiers doesn’t mean there aren’t any, and hell, we don’t even know what tha guards around tha kings will look like. Still, I got an idea”

Smirking to myself, I rubbed my chin with my right hand. Gold bracelet glimmering in the mid-afternoon sunlight

“So this what I’ve got in mind. I two pronged front, let’s have some of yours guys’ men to get some disguises and have them gather up some food. Maybe we kan have them approach tha castle from tha front and offer tha soldiers some food to distract em. Then, we’ll have a contingent of troops with us. Maybe ten to twenty people come with us through tha secret passage. Then once we exit tha tunnel, you take half with you and see if you kan knock out some of tha guards and steal their armor and outfits. From there, we have tha other 10 people we brought head to tha roof and wait. Once we do, this is where it gets kinda tricky. Let your men head to tha kings chamber, they’ll be stopped by his guards, most likely tha stronger/strongest ones. From there have them say that a matter at tha castles entrance demands their attention. Either tha King will go, which should make it easier since he’ll have to leave his secure ahh room. Or tha guards go and tha King is left defenseless.”

Stopping for a few minutes. I looked to Hack to finish telling him if tha rest of the plan I had

“Assuming they split tha difference and only send half or some of their forces. Thats where tha guys in tha roof come in. We’ll give em a signal and they’ll start causing noise on tha roof or whatever is above tha kings chambers. Ideally it’ll cause tha kings to send some of tha remaining men they have to check on it. And once they do, there shouldn’t be anyone left to defend tha idiot kings”

So what ya think Hack my man

Hack explained that, despite her looks, she exhibited significant strength, emphasizing that she should not be ignored. He recognized her human heritage and youthful age but was impressed by her outstanding talent in learning Fish-Man Karate to a high degree, earning her the renowned rank of Fish-Man Karate assistant teacher within the revolutionary army. This victory spoke eloquently about her dedication and skill, demonstrating her everlasting commitment to refining her martial arts abilities.

Before joining the revolutionary army, she went on a transforming voyage with the renowned sun pirate, gaining crucial experience that transformed her into the powerful fighter she is today. Her path was enriched by deep experiences with prominent persons like Jimbe and Fisher Tiger, who graciously shared their wisdom and expertise, allowing her to grow as a fighter and person. These meetings not only broadened her perspective but also reinforced her resolve to seek justice and strive for a better society.

Or tha guards go and tha King is left defenseless.”
Hack agreed that the concept was plausible, and he discussed his entire approach with the group. He planned to send a squad of 50 well-trained troops on a specially designated ship to covertly watch the castle's activities. Ten skilled troops were chosen from this squad to disguise themselves as locals, using their abilities to deflect the notice of the attentive guards. The remaining 20 men were strategically placed to help with the approaching assault, while another 20 would closely follow Hack to assure his safety and quick decision-making during the operation.
Furthermore, a backup force of 150 skilled soldiers would be strategically stationed along the shore, ready to respond quickly and watch any moves by enemy troops. This intricate strategy was meticulously designed to ensure extensive surveillance and smooth cooperation, resulting in mission success.

Ion think I’ve seen or noticed anyone so far that’s even as strong as any of tha three of us. So that should play into our favor should shit go belly up. Tho it seems we Kant have that happen considering this is a kidnapping.”
Hack's unshakable focus and keen stare emphasized the essential imperative of never underestimating their foes on the battlefield. He made it a point to emphasize the sheer magnitude of the opposition they faced, painting a vivid picture of a formidable army brimming with thousands of battle-hardened regular soldiers who obeyed the orders of a commander wielding considerable power - a match in prowess and skill for none other than Hack himself. Hack paused briefly, as if to let the gravity of his words sink in, before delving deeper into their opponents' strengths, methodically scrutinizing each individual component inside the opposing ranks.

While acknowledging the elderly man's and his son's limitations, he delivered a strong warning regarding Princess Valerie's obviously feeble veneer concealing her tremendous strength. Hack's sharp perception revealed that her overwhelming strength not only exceeded his own, but also surpassed Koala's, establishing her as a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. This sharp conclusion shaped their strategic strategy, prompting them to avoid an all-out assault on the kingdom thus far. Hack communicated these critical facts to their new friend in a straightforward and succinct manner, delivering a full briefing on the considerable intelligence they had methodically acquired prior to that important juncture in their campaign.

Hmm, Fishman Karate huh? I remember being locked up with a couple fish men, didn’t think anyone except they could use it. Guess you weren’t lyin bout her strength then

Damn, a human let alone one so young kan use a style only thought to be possible by fish men. She’s definitely earned her rank and reputation then, makes ya wonder what tha other people are capable of…..

As the hours rolled along, Yama and Hack continued their conversations and fine tuning the plan they had come up with….

(Nighttime a few blocks over from the castle, tucked away in an alleyway)

Aight ladies and gents, it’s bout that time. Everybody know they roles right?

Peering across the alley, I watched to see how they would react to basically raiding a castle and kidnapping the current royalty. And possibly starting a full blown Civil War tonight

Remember ya roles and don’t panic. Worst case scenario myself and Hack will be fighting or distracting their strongest soldiers/guards. Don’t be a hero but if you see a chance to make a play, do it. You’ve earned it, I’m new to this so I won’t try to take ya guys glory, but ya commander would have my head if I let too many of yall die

Seeing the faces of everyone there and the determination in their eyes, I nodded to myself

Aight, let’s get to it. Tha other squads should be startin their jobs bout now as well. Let’s make tha Miss happy

Turning around Hack and I lead our troops to the
Castles secret entrance

REVOLUTIONARY ARMY POV
A number of army soldiers disguising themselves as villagers made their way toward the guards, deftly using sweets as a distraction to draw their focus away from the fact that more people had entered the stronghold. Offering a mouthwatering assortment of pastries and sweets created an alluring and compelling allure that successfully diverted the guards' attention and made it possible for the soldiers to advance covertly.

When they finally arrived on the island, a large ship with a guard of soldiers on duty tied the ship carefully against the island's steep cliff face. With their weapons at ready, they positioned themselves to take cover in the shadowed area, ready to act quickly to save lives. The soldiers had taken great care to secure their ship so that it would be close at hand in the event of an emergency, and they were prepared to lend a hand to their fellows in need against the strategic backdrop of the castle.

ROYAL ARMY POV
The two obedient soldiers at the gate of the stronghold were deep in concentration on their work. One of the guards leaned over to his companion and struck up a lively discussion, offering his insightful thoughts on the recent transfer of power in the kingdom. Thinking back on the great past monarch, he saw how the kingdom prospered throughout his reign and was impressed by the efficiency and justice that guided all of his decisions. But when his son succeeded to the throne, the country appeared to undergo a depressing metamorphosis that left it in a terrible condition of chaos and disorder.
The guard bemoaned, his expression darkening with worry, how the unstable situation was made worse by the unexpected advent of a violent organization called the revolutionary army. This group, which was known for causing trouble and chaos wherever it went, threw doubt on the stability of what had previously appeared to be unflappable, which not only affected the guards but the whole kingdom.

A group of ten or twelve individuals, clad in clothing resembling that of the nearby peasants, approached the guards as they laughed and told stories to stave off the growing tiredness. The group noticed the little change in tone and politely inquired, "Could we learn who you are and why you are here in our midst?" with a more serious manner.

Meandering through the group of guards that they were currently handing out sweets and other confections to, the undercover revolutionary soldiers struck up conversations and merrymaking with the guards. Dedicated to fulfilling their assigned duties to perfection

Good so far it doesn’t seem like they’ve noticed anything but we haven’t given them a reason to. We just need to keep this up till they’ve kidnapped the Kings and this would’ve all been worth it

At the ship

Alright, it looks like the plan is proceeding smoothly so far. The guards at the front seem to have encountered the initial distraction group. As well as the other section have already made contact and are successfully occupying a large portion of the guards in and around the castle

A soldier relayed from the cries nest of the ship the revolutionaries were disembarking from. Everyone nodded their heads and steeled their minds and hearts for what was possible to come, but remembered the message they received before beginning this operation

They knew their part of the assignment was quickly approaching, so at the ready they stood

The Group in front the Castle

Making their way closer to the guards at the front gate the “peasants” chatter died down as they heard the guards addressing them

Could we learn who you are and why you are here in our midst?" with a more serious manner.
Oh we were just out trying to enjoy the night, been busting our asses all day. It’s time to unwind for the night, ya know!? You guys gotta know where we’re coming from, it’s gotta suck being in those cold stuffy suits of armor all night doesn’t it?

The “peasants” lightly chuckled, hoping their attempt at friendly conversation would ease tge guards a bit

Besides I don’t think I’ve ever really talked or interacted with any of the royal guards much, what do you guys even do all day just stand straight and stare ahead?

Pulling out a decent sized flask, one of the peasants took a sip before offering some to the guards

Want some man? It’s not crazy expensive stuff but it’s decent got a good aftertaste and all. Might help with the long night ahead of you guys’

While he offered the guards a drink another of the other peasants spoke up a bit

What’s the qualifications become one of you guys anyway? Do I have to go through some academy or something?

INSIDE THE CASTLE
In the chamber of the aged and infirm monarch, a significant and heated deliberation was underway. In the room where the "elderly king" Lucas, the "reigning king" Saul, the "princess" Valerie, and the "Army General" Dalia, The air in the chamber was thick with palpable tension and simmering anger, as each significant figure carried their grudges and frustrations. The princess's intense discontent was clear in the frigid gaze she directed upon her sibling, the ruling King Saul. To her, he appeared to be a fake, a mere puppet controlled by the whims of the nobles who aspired to hold power through inefficient government. She clenched her fists in frustration, feeling weary of the current quo and wanting meaningful change.

The princess became caught in a heated and intense dispute with her unwise sibling, their opposing personalities vividly contrasting. She made a sharp statement, emphasizing their father's revered and smart personality, a leader beloved by the people. This sharp parallel showed her brother's foolishness in blindly following the aristocrats' recommendations. She freely declared her view that, if it had not been for her profound respect for their father's wishes and her steadfast loyalty to the family, she would have taken decisive action to seize the kingdom from her brother and rise to the role of monarch herself.

This internal fight between familial responsibility and ambition weighed heavily on her, demonstrating the complexities of her emotional turmoil as well as the deep tension within their family dynamics. The princess emphasized the inherent disparities in their methods of leadership and decision-making, highlighting the long-standing schism that had formed between them as a result of their divergent paths.
Despite the temptation to establish her claim to the throne, she was held back by a sense of obligation and fidelity, divided between her desire for power and the deeply ingrained principles instilled by their father. Ultimately, this conflict of values and aspirations highlighted the numerous layers of their familial relationships, as well as the difficulty of negotiating the complex politics of royalty.

Meanwhile, Army General Dalia stood firm, his steely eyes set on the ancient kings seated before him. Resentment grew within him as he remembered their inactivity against the advancing revolutionary army that threatened their realm's security. The flickering lanterns in the chamber produced eerie shadows, reflecting the kingdom's anxiety and impending menace. The air was dense with unspoken comments and unmet expectations, emphasizing the kingdom's precarious situation.

In his thorough report to the council, General Dalia stated that the young king's apprehension and uncertainty were a significant part in the protracted delay in subduing the revolutionary army and capturing the corrupt nobility. His research emphasized how the young monarch's hesitancy and indecision hampered the proper implementation of the military campaign and anti-corruption operations. Indeed, had the young king shown greater resolve and audacity in his acts, it is possible that the goals of quelling the uprising and bringing the corrupt officials to justice would have already been met.The general's perceptive insights shed light on how a leader's psychological disposition can have far-reaching effects in governance and warfare, acting as a warning to those in positions of authority. In summary, General Dalia's assessment serves as a poignant reminder of the delicate interplay between leadership characteristics and strategic outcomes, providing vital insights into the intricacies of command and the importance of decisive leadership in times of crisis.

In the middle of tangled emotions and opposing goals, the chamber became a furnace of competing interests and desires. It was a moment when the weight of history and the responsibility of the future weighed heavily on the shoulders of those present, each dealing with their fears and desires. Everyone knew that the judgments made in this chamber would shape the kingdom's fate, determining whether unity would prevail or dissension would rip it apart.

OUTSIDE THE CASTLE
Oh we were just out trying to enjoy the night, been busting our asses all day. It’s time to unwind for the night, ya know!? You guys gotta know where we’re coming from, it’s gotta suck being in those cold stuffy suits of armor all night doesn’t it?

The guard, his brow furrowed in suspicion, broke the eerie calm of the night with a sharp question: "Why are you here at night?" His tone conveyed a sense of authority and care, indicating the gravity of the situation.
He stressed the restricted nature of the area, stating, "This place is off-limits even during the day." It was a rule profoundly embedded in the brains of all citizens, a line that must not be crossed under any circumstances.

The guards exchanged nervous glances, discreetly indicating their common concern about the mystery guest. They continued with their questioning, their voices tinged with apprehension: "Who exactly are you? Why did you decide to be present in this banned place? "What brings you here under the cover of night?" Their questions hung in the air, combining with the icy breeze that appeared to convey a whisper of expectancy, as the stranger stood in quiet, his presence veiled in mystery, which only added to the guards' anxiety.

Emerging through the secret passage to tha castle. Yama, Hack and 10 soldiers stuck close to the shadows. Pausing for a few seconds to allow their eyes to adjust to the nighttime, the men took stock of the castle and its surrounding landscape

In front of them stood the imposing sight of the brick and mortar structure, towering high into the sky. Flags on each spire fluttering in the nighttime air, to their back the castle walls were erected to insure the safety of the grounds. Continuing their look around the grounds, some of the men were astounded by the size and structural decisions that the royal family had chosen to partake in for their residence. That was until they picked up on the conversations going on closer to the front gate

"Who exactly are you? Why did you decide to be present in this banned place? "What brings you here under the cover of night?"
Hearing the voices of the gate guards carry over the dancing wind brought the realization of where the guards were along with how far into the plan that we were at

Aight, looks like they’re takin kare of their end of things, so we need to do our part too fellas. Let’s not lollygag round hea too long and waste tha opportunity we’ve got

I whispered to my fellow conspirators, seeing the men nod their heads in agreement, we continued to creep our way towards the back left spire. It was the one closer to the waterside. It was our agreed upon entry point since the defenses there were the weakest due to the water a cliff serving as a natural sort of defense. As we arrived at the location, we wasted no time in picking the lock that was placed on the spires entrance. Accessing the entranceway was vital to our current strategy and would give us the easiest path to the father and sons quarters to hopefully complete the mission as quick and stealthily as possible

Finally getting the lock to unhinge and give way. It was gently caught and played in the grass at our feet, we didn’t need the heavy lock loudly clanking off of the cobblestone walkway while we were trying to no bring attention to ourselves. Quickly shuffling inside to get out of the wide open space. We quietly and quickly made our way up the staircase, so that we could neutralize the sentinel who should be on watch about now. Once we reached the entrance to the spires peak, I slowly poked my head out of the shrouded stairwell. Almost immediately my eyes caught a nondescript soldier lazily keeping watch, his back to the stairs due to not expecting anyone to have been on the grounds other than he and the other guards. Let alone at this hr

Peaking to the other 3 spires, the other guards were watching their assigned areas which left the one for us with no one watching his back. Slowly I crept behind him, careful to not move around too much…..leather dusting of my clothes or the disturbance of ny sandals draw his attention. Finally as I was close enough, I I slammed my hand into the back of his neck. Stealing his consciousness from him. Immediately I grabbed him before he collapsed to the hard stone floor. Once secured, I brought him back over to the darke stairwell I initially emerged from

Aight, you. Put his uniform on and help keep watch for us. This spire is both the least patrolled and is facing the water so tha ship we have out there wont get discovered with one of our own watching it

Handing over the unconscious soldier to the group that followed Hack and I. We let one of them change into the uniform and replace the watch out with him. Once that was solidified, we returned to the stairwell, instead of traversing it fully this time. We stopped about half way down and waited behind a wooden door. This one leading into the castles hallway…..

FRONT GATE
"This place is off-limits even during the day."
Recoiling slightly from the question, the “peasant” offering the soldiers a drink brought his hand back and raised it in a placating manner

My bad my bad gentleman. Was just feeling the liquor start to kick in and wanted to talk to you guys a lil bit. Especially with what’s been going on lately and stuff. Figured it couldn’t hurt to maybe build a bit of report with some of the soldiers ya’know? I personally support the kingdom so I figured, it would do you soldier guys some good if there was someone who was talking good about you all and spread some goodwill for public perception. Didn’t know trying to be friendly was gonna be met his hostility……

INSIDE THE CASTLE
Princess Valerie, King Lucas' loving daughter, gracefully exited the vast room where her father had been discussing kingdom business. With fury on her lips, she found herself navigating the palace's elaborately painted main hallway, which bore evidence to its grandeur. The walls were covered with tapestries woven with gold and silver threads, depicting scenes of battles won and treaties signed, with each thread recounting a story from the kingdom's history.

Princess Valerie exited the king's chamber with a sense of relief and eagerness, making her way along the great hallway to the spiral staircase that led to her own room. The beautiful walls, painted in rich gold and crimson, were covered with intricate tapestries that whispered tales of a bygone past, imbuing the air around her with mystery and melancholy. A soft glow came from the gilded sconces that lined the hallway, throwing a soothing light on the marble floor beneath her feet. Valerie walked with a gentle elegance, her silk gown falling behind her like a cascade of moonlight, and the soft rustle of fabric was the only sound in the quiet corridor.

As the princess stood by the magnificent window, the golden rays of the setting sun throwing a warm glow on her beautiful face, her attention was suddenly drawn to an unexpected commotion near the castle's formidable gates. The normally stoic guards were now lively and agitated, with gestures that indicated haste and fear. Intrigued by the unexpected change of events, her mind filled with a slew of questions regarding the identities and motivations behind this odd meeting. "Who could they be," she wondered, her brow knitted in curiosity, "and what might their intentions be on this eve?"

Driven by an intense curiosity that burned inside her noble heart, she vowed to uncover this mystery and went on a silent trek through the castle's magnificent halls to the spiral staircase that led to the bustling ground floor beneath. The gentle flutter of her silk gown echoed against the marble floors, a dramatic contrast to the anxious atmosphere that seemed to pervade the air around her. Determined and resolute, she opened the door towards the steps with grace that belied the anguish inside her.

Gently, ever so gently. I nudged the door leading to the hallway open. The illumination from the lights that lined the walls broke the veil of darkness that permeated the doorway. Or atleast it would’ve, had the door been opened more. As it was it left an inch or so opening to be peered through

Princess Valerie exited the king's chamber with a sense of relief and eagerness, making her way along the great hallway to the spiral staircase that led to her own room.
Quickly backing up a smidgen as to not draw the newcomers attention, I waited with baited breath to see whether or not she would discover or contingent of troops so precariously packed behind the three inch wooden entry point

After noticing there was no comment or motion to move toward us. I peered out again and saw as she traversed the castles bright hallways. Her path secured with stone and mortar intricately combined to both be smooth and sturdy. She seemed to stop occasionally and admire the many paintings. That is until she chose the nearest window to admire the castle’s scenery, I assume atleast. It wasn’t possible for me to confirm or deny from my vantage point. Although, the gentile visage she held led me to believe that the sight put her at ease momentarily

Then suddenly her face shifted

Hmm? What now, did something go wrong with tha gate guys? Or was it tha ones passing out tha food? Calm down and think, if it was tha guys with tha food ion think she’d be makin that face. So either something went wrong or she’s bout to chew tha guards asses out for leavin their posts. Which actually works out for us, since that removes whomever she is from tha equation for a lil while

Aight, im not sure who that chick is. But whatever room she just make out of is possibly tha kings room. She’s extra dressed up and buss out tha room in a bad room, so either she got into an argument with someone in that room or she’s just a bitter bih. Either way we’re gonna have to check it out. Once there’s a distraction or something, we’ll see if anyone else leaves tha room. If they don’t we kan assume it’s empty

I whispered to my compatriots

As Princess Valerie finished her stroll, she arrived at the Gate, where there was a noticeable commotion. The atmosphere became tense as the princess, filled with curiosity and weariness from an earlier disagreement with her brother and father, observed the guards' immediate shift to a more formal military demeanour upon her arrival. They greeted her politely, "Good Evening, Princess Valerie," attempting to conceal their surprise at her unexpected appearance.

A faint hint of frustration lingered in the air as she questioned the guards, her annoyance subtle in her tone: "What exactly is going on at this late hour? And who are these unidentified people causing such a commotion?" Despite the guards' efforts to remain calm, the underlying tension was palpable, heightening the urgency of her questions as the unsettling events unfolded before her very eyes at the gate.

"Good Evening, Princess Valerie,"
Oh shit, the princess showed up! What is she doing out here, did something go wrong in the castle? No don’t panic, if something did happen it would’ve been a huge thing and we’d be getting either arrested or thrown out of here already. Calm down and execute the job

Calming their nerves with that thought, the men outside took steadying breaths and steeled their nerves. They had a job to do and they would do their best as to not fail their benevolent commander Koala

The “peasant” at the front slightly stepped forward, gaping at the princess who had suddenly made her presence known. Shakily holding a finger up to the regally dressed young lady

“P-P-Princess Valerie!? Oh my god, it’s really you? It’s my first time seeing you, I’ve seen your father and brother here and there but this is my first time seeing you in person. Is this what it’s like meeting a celebrity? My wife talks about you all the time, she loves your style”

Gotta try and keep her around for as long as possible, I’ll drum it up and try to play on any womanly vain she might hopefully have. Maybe I can even get some information out of it

Taking a tentative step forward, he asks

“I know I’m but a humble commoner, but do you think I could have a couple minutes talk to you? My wife’s gonna lose her shit when she finds out I talked with the princess, hahahah. She’s gonna be so jealous”

The princess, with a raised but firm tone in her voice, leaned slightly forward and inquired, "Who are you? I am familiar with most of the residents in this country; their faces and stories are like the pages of a book to me. Yet your face seems unfamiliar, shrouded in mystery amidst the tapestry of familiarity." There was a genuine curiosity in her eyes, a glimmer of intrigue that hinted at the depth of her interest in the stranger standing before her.

INSIDE THE CASTLE

General Dalia emerged from the royal bedroom, his footsteps echoing through the palace's quiet corridors as he reflected on the country's deteriorating state. Despite recognizing the princess as the most qualified candidate for rulership, his disappointment grew as he learned of the king's decision to appoint his incompetent son as the new monarch. This ill-advised decision not only cast doubt on the kingdom's future, but it also had far-reaching consequences, straining the already fragile relationships with foreign adversaries and exacerbating existing internal issues within the realm.

The king's perplexing decision raised serious concerns about the realm's future stability while also fueling speculation and uncertainty among the populace. General Dalia's unease grew as he considered the implications of this watershed moment in the kingdom's history. The weight of responsibility weighed heavily on his shoulders as he navigated the court's complex web of political intrigue and personal loyalties.

As he strolled leisurely through the ornate, dimly lit hallway, adorned with intricate tapestries and flickering torches, his keen senses picked up on a subtle change in the atmosphere. His gaze was immediately drawn to the figures of two imposing guards stationed near the passage leading to the castle's hidden confines. Feeling a tingle of caution in the air, a gnawing sense of unease crept up his spine, prompting him to pause his steps and pivot to confront the unfamiliar sentinels.

With a nuanced blend of authority and wariness in his voice, he commanded them to approach him, "Approach me." Identify yourselves. You are not the assigned guards protecting this critical sector," he demanded, his hand instinctively reaching for the hilt of the concealed weapon holstered on his back. As tension crackled in the air, he held their gaze steadily, his weapon now levelled at the guards as a harsh warning. "I strongly advise you to comply and step forward, lest you face severe consequences and potential apprehension," he declared firmly, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation.

Grimacing internally at the princesses persistent questions

What the hell man, why we gotta be stuck with this chick? No way she really knows all the citizens, even so, we can’t afford to piss get off too much. But she’s getting more suspicious the longer this goes

Realizing that keeping the act up was their best choice. He spoke up once more

“Huh Really!? I gotta little shop on the other end of town, maybe that’s why you ain’t heard of it or me. We opened up pretty recently or maybe I’m too far out the way for the richer clients”

Rubbing his chin while he pondered his business situation, hoping the princess would buy it

"Approach me."
Damn, is he suspicious already!?

Deciding to play along with the cards they were being dealt, one of the guards stepped forwards. Maintaining a straight back and an air of focus and discipline. Making sure they kept eye contact. Less he be anymore curious by averting their eyes

I strongly advise you to comply and step forward, lest you face severe consequences and potential apprehension,"
“General Dalia, Sir! We apologize, we were simply standing in for the usual guards. There are food and treats being handed out so we swapped with them for a little while. So that they wouldn’t miss out, they should be back shortly”

Waiting patiently behind the doors off to the side, Yama, Hack and the warriors they brought alongside them stood with bated breath. Listening to the conversation that went about on the other side of the door

“Huh Really!? I gotta little shop on the other end of town, maybe that’s why you ain’t heard of it or me. We opened up pretty recently or maybe I’m too far out the way for the richer clients”
The illustrious princess, who oversees the human resources department in the majestic kingdom, delicately addressed a major issue that was bothering her discerning mind. She articulated a pressing concern with remarkable clarity, shedding light on the essential importance of having comprehensive knowledge about someone whose identity appeared shrouded in mystery. Her astute observation focused on the potential oversight regarding this enigmatic figure, raising the alarm that perhaps this individual failed to fulfil the requirement of registering with the esteemed office, raising pertinent questions about their intentions and standing within the kingdom.

Princess, in charge of the situation, expertly communicated to the group of individuals about the lack of discernible records linking their identities, necessitating their temporary detention. With a sense of urgency, she flawlessly used a unique communication device known as a "mushi" to relay instructions to General Dalia, ordering the immediate deployment of approximately a dozen security officers to the main entrance. The princess urgently highlighted the looming risk posed by these unknown individuals lurking on their premises without having gone through the proper registration procedures, prompting security measures to be immediately implemented to ensure the safety and security of the castle grounds.

Princess, exuding a calm and reassuring demeanour, focused her attention on a group of unfamiliar people who appeared concerned about the situation unfolding in front of them. With a gentle smile, she told them, "There's no need to be concerned; this is simply a standard procedure that we carefully follow to ensure everyone's safety and security." Rest assured that once we complete some routine verification processes that are required for our protocols, you will be able to proceed with your day without further delays or inconvenience."

INSIDE THE CASTLE

“General Dalia, Sir! We apologize, we were simply standing in for the usual guards. There are food and treats being handed out so we swapped with them for a little while. So that they wouldn’t miss out, they should be back shortly”
During their conversation, his communicator buzzed, indicating that the princess had sent an urgent message requesting additional guards at the front gate. The princess stated that she had observed suspicious individuals distributing treats, raising concerns about possible misconduct on the castle grounds. This unexpected turn of events heightened the general's suspicions, particularly given the recent mysterious disappearances near the castle's weakest point. As he examined the situation more closely, the general realized that the presence of distractors at the front gate could be part of a larger plan to breach the castle's defences, heightening the urgency of the princess's request for reinforcements.

In response to the princess's request for assistance, the general moved quickly, assuring her that he would send more guards to apprehend the suspects and strengthen security measures. This exchange between the princess and the general highlighted the rising tension within the castle walls, emphasizing the impending threat posed by the suspicious activities and the general's unwavering commitment to protecting the castle and its occupants from harm. The unfolding events emphasized the importance of remaining vigilant and taking quick action in the face of impending dangers, portraying the general as a decisive leader dedicated to protecting the castle from any attempts to put at risk its security.

Following the dramatic events, the general quickly removed a unique mushi from his pocket. He gave decisive orders to the guards stationed at various strategic points throughout the castle complex. "Guards, I urgently need a dozen of you to position yourselves at the front gate, and a few more to secure the southern end of the king's hall. Make sure to cover both the northern and southern staircases leading into the hall. Proceed with extreme caution as we may be dealing with potential intruders," the general ordered, his voice echoing authoritatively in the dimly lit corridors.

After relaying his orders to the guards, the general brandished his weapon and prepared for any potential threat that lay ahead. Addressing the potential adversaries lurking in the shadows, he demanded compliance with a firm warning: "Drop your weapons and mushis immediately, turning your backs on us with hands raised and knees on the ground. Disobedience will leave me no choice but to use force." The general's firm declaration echoed throughout the halls, creating a tense atmosphere for a potential confrontation with unknown foes.

Man, these people are really on edge huh? Guess our moves have been really effective at pissing then off, still depending on what they need to identify us. It gives us a chance to eat up more time and stall for commander Hack and the new guy to hopefully abduct the king and his son

“Of course Princess, I get it with how it’s been around the kingdom lately”

Taking a step back the 3 men, stood by waiting for what the princess had called in from the DenDen Mushi

strategic points throughout the castle complex. "Guards, I urgently need a dozen of you to position yourselves at the front gate, and a few more to secure the southern end of the king's hall. Make sure to cover both the northern and southern staircases leading into the hall. Proceed with extreme caution as we may be dealing with potential intruders,"
The General’s voice echoed throughout the corridor, even the hidden men behind the door could make out what he relayed into the DenDen mushi

Hmm, sounds like they maybe gettin a lil bit jumpy with tha new faces they seein round tha castle. Still they should still be undercover, so they might jus be paranoid with how tha countries been goin with tha Civil War

While they were confident in the plans that they made, ‘twas still a contentious and stressful time for the revolutionaries. After all they were in enemy territory and tasked with kidnapping the 2 most important figures in the nation from basically in front of the nations greatest soldiers and generals. Anyone would have atleast a modicum of doubt in such a situation

"Drop your weapons and mushis immediately, turning your backs on us with hands raised and knees on the ground. Disobedience will leave me no choice but to use force."
Hearing the generals assertion to them, the soldiers seized up for a couple seconds. Taken aback by his sudden hostility towards them. Seeing that he wouldn’t stand down on his demand, they both raised their hands into the air, a common gesture of surrender. Then proceeded to disarm and place their swords onto the concrete floor, then did the same with their Den Den Mushis. Finally they knelt on the floor and turning their backs to their general

“C-CC-Calm down general. We’re sorry for not letting you know that we switched so that they could go and get some food”

Well, seems like it’s starting to heat up now that everything’s moving into place

OUTSIDE THE CASTLE

“Of course Princess, I get it with how it’s been around the kingdom lately”
As the conversation went, the general's guards, dressed in excellent uniforms and sporting grim looks, appeared at the gate, adding a noticeable formality to the already stressful scenario. The princess, her majestic posture unaffected by the chaos, smoothly turned her gaze to the intruders, her eyes displaying a mix of fascination and caution. She gave precise directions in a demanding yet controlled tone, her voice conveying a subtle power that commanded obedience.
"Escort them to the verification office," the princess said, her voice stern and resolute. "Be cautious and avoid causing harm unless absolutely necessary." Extract all feasible information from them about their identities, the reason for their visit, and the time of their arrival." Her comments remained in the air, a monument to her strategic thinking and unrelenting drive to find the truth amidst the maze of uncertainty that surrounded them.

The princess couldn't shake the impression that something was wrong, as she sensed an underlying tension permeating the atmosphere like an invisible shroud. A sliver of doubt crossed her thoughts, sowing the seed of suspicion that compelled her to investigate more into the emerging enigma. Without hesitation, she chose two of her most trusted guards to join her on a reconnaissance operation.
"Two of you come with me," the princess said, her tone a mix of order and companionship. "Let's explore the vicinity together; there might be more individuals lurking in the shadows, waiting to reveal their intentions." She took the lead with a strong gaze and a purposeful step, her stance exuding unchanging strength and resolution as they ventured into the unknown. Maintaining a high level of awareness, the princess remained poised and alert, ready to confront whatever challenges lie ahead.

INSIDE THE CASTLE

“C-CC-Calm down general. We’re sorry for not letting you know that we switched so that they could go and get some food”
The general focused his gaze on the two uniformed and disciplined soldiers kneeling before him. His voice was stern yet curious as he asked for their ID numbers, demonstrating his attention to detail and devotion to security. Almost immediately, the general reached for his communicator, a sleek device that represented his authority and efficiency.
He initiated a call with a rapid dial, followed by a precise and purposeful following step. When a voice replied on the other end, the general quickly issued a clear order: "Summon the soldiers assigned to guard the southern section of the hall immediately." The air in the room seemed to spark with urgency as the command hung in the air, setting events in action.

In an unexpected turn of events, the commander's demeanour changed from authoritative to suspicious when he noticed the ringing communicators in the soldiers' pockets. His tone became severe as he sought answers, his piercing remarks cutting through the tension that had now engulfed the room. "Why do you have the goods of the other guards? "Who exactly are you?" The questions were fraught with consequences, pointing to a breach of trust and security. The mood became tense, with each syllable adding to the rising sense of discomfort. The commander's insistence on honesty emphasised the gravity of the situation and the significance of transparency in their dealings.

The tension I no the air took a sudden uptick with the additional guard’s arrival. Clearly they were intent on getting to the bottom of the current situation, their princess had even ordered it, in her usual regal way

"Escort them to the verification office," the princess said, her voice stern and resolute. "Be cautious and avoid causing harm unless absolutely necessary." Extract all feasible information from them about their identitie
Whelp, we held out as long as we could, and kept her attention for long enough hopefully. Our priority now becomes tying up these new guys if a fight breaks out, if we can thin em out some it’ll give Commander Hack an easier time kidnapping the targets……she’s asking them to be gentle too. Might play in our favor, who knows

"Two of you come with me," the princess said, her tone a mix of order and companionship. "Let's explore the vicinity together; there might be more individuals lurking in the shadows, waiting to reveal their intentions."
Good luck Commander Hack and everyone else. Especially you new guy, the plans solid but this chick takes her duties and security serious as hell!

Sending a silent prayer for their comrades, the three undercover revolutionary men stood firm and awaited where their envoy would take them for verification

Trying with all they had, the two men did their best to meet the generals fierce stare. Knowing that showing any weakness or doubt about their claims would bring untold scrutiny upon them and throw off the entire plan that depended on their execution of their assigned roles

"Summon the soldiers assigned to guard the southern section of the hall immediately."
One sentence, all it took was one sentence for the soldiers spines to go ramrod straight and perspiration to unwillingly begin forming on their heads. The stress of the predicament showing at this crucial moment

"Why do you have the goods of the other guards? "Who exactly are you?"
“You have our apologies sir, the idiots who were covering for took off running when we said we’d cover for them and dropped their DenDen Mushi. We’d planned on giving them back once they had returned to their post”

Time…we need time, we were entrusted with this mission from Commander Koala and this new guy Yama. We were given these crucial roles in this operation. Failure is not an option, we’ll perform our roles admirably!

As the undercover soldiers made their bid for stalling. Ten feet to their side, behind the mahogany doors of the corridor, the group of men waited. All sources of light snuffed out, making sight down the corridor a worthy challenge, this not made any better by the fact the men had retreated back from the immediate doors vicinity to make their discovery that much harder. Listening to the tenor and back and forth if the conversation, Yama decided the time to act has arrived……

“Hey Haxk, seems this general guy is sufficiently spooked and entirely focused on the guys out there. Now it’s our turn to bring this mission home. You and I are going to reverse outta hea and go back to tha roof/spire outside. From there we’re gonna go to the kings windows, sneak in and grab tha idiots. After that, we make a distraction to get them focused on something else long enough for our men to slip away, got it? No point we go this far just to lose men in this shit, let’s go….”

Relaying what I had to say, I gently slap Hack on the chest and motion him to follow me back outside

INSIDE THE CASTLE

The tense atmosphere was palpable as multiple guards rushed to the location where the esteemed general was strategically positioned, their determined footfall ringing ominously in the air. The general, his features twisted in rage and authority emanating from his very stance, wasted no time in issuing a sharp command that cut through the tension like a blade:

"Detain these individuals at once and spare no effort in locating those responsible for the security lapses in this area that have so brazenly threatened our operation."

The fervour in his speech was only equalled by the intensity of his eyes, which drilled into the guards and forced them to carry out his orders with uncompromising precision and speed.

The commander issued the command with exact accuracy and a hard tone in his voice, and then decisively commanded a carefully picked group of six people to attend to the needs of both the old king and the newly crowned monarch. These nobles were divided equally, with three appointed to provide diligent support to the esteemed old king and the remaining three to accompany and protect the new king. He also emphasised the significance of continual vigilance by ensuring that one member of the group was always by each ruler's side, while the remaining two kept guard at the chamber entrance.

Furthermore, to ensure smooth communication and rapid reactions, he asked them to tell the office as soon as they arrived at their appointed positions and to always be prepared to answer any urgent calls he may make to them. This deliberate delegation and exact instruction demonstrated the leader's astuteness in managing both rulers' safety and well-being, emphasising his dedication to painstaking preparation and flawless execution in keeping peace and order within the kingdom.

Coming to the end of the darkened hallway, Yama, with hack trailing behind him, gently eased the doorway open. Mindful to not create too much noise with their exit. Stepping out onto the top of the spire they previously were on, both men nodded their heads to the undercover agents they left stationed up there

“Aight fellas how’s it been up hea? Anything of note pop up?”

Tipping their heads in acknowledgment to both commanders of this mission, both undercover lookouts relayed what they had been privy to in their spying so far

“Commander, good to see you guys are ok. So far it doesn’t look like anything out of the ordinary has happened, or atleast that’s how it was for most of the night. The other two guards haven’t noticed that we aren’t the regular guys but something’s happened out front of the castle, I’m not sure what. But they seemed to get into a bit of a panic and were looking out over to the castles front. That’s all we’ve gotten so far, you don’t think they’ve found out bout the mission do you?”

Taking in the new information, Yama rested a steady hand upon the worrying revolutionary soldiers shoulder. Offering him understanding and speaking with confidence and pride as he addressed the man

“Yea, it’s possible they did. But it’s not like we didn’t assume that it wasn’t a possibility, the former kings son maybe an idiot but that doesn’t mean everyone else is. Keep your head up tho man, we’re completing this mission and all of us are leavin this bih tonight. No one is being left behind, you have my word……besides, tha lady with tha goggles would strangle me if I left anything happen to yall hahaha”

I chuckled good naturally

Although, if I’m being honest. I’m not sure who’s stronger me or her, so don’t think that would go

Speaking once more to the guards, I began to fill them in on the next and last stage of the plan

“Aight down to business, we’re in tha last stage now. Haxk and I are going to sneak into the old king and new kings rooms now and grab em. The general is occupied with the phony guards we left in tha hallway, like I kinda suspected he found out they were fake and from what you told us it seems the guys out front might be under suspicion as well. That’s good for two reasons tho, 1. It averts their attention onto something that doesn’t involve them checking on tha rulers and 2. It forces them to keep anyone they katch alive to try and interrogate them for information, so don’t stress, our friends are still alive and safe for now”

Shifting my sight to hack behind me, I nod to him signifying that we would head to the kings personal quarters now

“So from hea, we’re headin over to their rooms. Once we leave this spot, we’ll need you guys to keep a lookout. Once we grab em and bring em baxk up hea, we’ll hand em off to yall and then you’ll meet up with tha guys in tha corridor and “escort” tha former kings on to boats and escape baxk to Koala. Once you have tha kings secured, you DO NOT turn around, understand. You get them to koala, mine and buddy’s safety isn’t your concern hea. We kan handle ourselves, we’ll be fine. Tha kings abduction and you guys makin it baxk is tha goal hea, remember that. Haxk and I’ll get tha guys at tha front and tha guys infront of tha corridor, once we’ve made a big enough distraction and grab em we’re gettin tha hell outta hea too”

“Aight, we’ve spent enough time tappin bout it. Everybody knows their roles, let’s execute bois. Trust tha work we put in and we’ll be fine”

Fist bumping the guards, Hack and I made our way towards the center of the walls they were guarding. Luckily for us the other two guards were facing in the opposite direction, peering at their assigned areas to watch out in front of the castle. Seeing we were in the clear hack and I look at each other and nodded before we proceeded to leap onto the castle walls grouping onto the large window sills that jut out by a foot or two. Normally it made for a comfortable perch for birds during the day but tonight it made for tactful handholds in our nighttime jaunt

Carefully pulling ourselves up so we could peak into the rooms slightly, on my side I saw the newly appointed king. A younger man, peacefully enjoying his gallivanting through to world of dreams. No doubt exuberant of his ascension to the throne, quite a feat in all honesty…..irregardless of the nepotism that put him there or how short his reign would be after tonight. Or the next five minutes if I was being honest, the guard that was set to watch over him didn’t impress me any. There was but a lone guardian in the room, closing my eyes for a moment I reached out with my Haki trying to “feel” if there were any surprises waiting for us inside and where the other guards were

1-100The user has increased reaction speed (Mastery x 0.1) within (Mastery x 0.4) meters of themselves when CoO is activated. The user can sense the presence of living things within (Mastery x 1) meters of themselves when CoO is activated. Cannot be passive. No other sensory abilities.

Feeling that there indeed was only 1 guard per room and the others were waiting outside the rooms, I nodded to hack and we prepared ourselves to sneak in
