This 180 degreee take on Houken character, i quite loved it.
Houken simply isn't another pawn for Riboku and being trying to transcend humanity separates him from other opponents Shin has faced or would face in the future, kinda hypes up their battle for me. Also why Ouki character, shook Houken to the core, i guess thats the answer Houken will get from Shin.

Well....Both Houken and Shin have same goal , but different ideology and path..
I think in the end Houken will accept Shin's view.

But still he defeated by heavily injured Kyoukai and Shin will kinda overwhelming.
Healthy Kyoukai giving him injuries and then injured Shin defeating him , is right scenario imo
