Akai, was a bit disgruntled by this reply. His tone and diplomatic approach and cockiness in his own abilities struck a very deep nerve. He was about to burst his casket... However, he inhaled and exhaled letting his anger to subside instead of boil over for his situation was disadvantageous. Any wrong turns could, as Aerom confidently state, turn to fate in which Aerom kills them all. He didn't want Iris to die, Akai didn't fancy the taste of death either; he was still young.Aerom dived deep into thinking as he saw the individual's lack of enthusiasm in his suggestion. He replied slowly, "I could eliminate all of you and switch allegiance to the other gang, which would definitely change the course of events dramatically. However, for the sake of peace and to deepen my relationships, I want to avoid such carnage and instead seek to broaden my circle of loyal colleagues."
Aerom, firm in his resolve, expressed his stance with conviction, stating, "The opportunity I present to you all is one that promises mutual benefit - a scenario where each outcome, whether victorious or facing defeat, ensures a position of power for all involved, particularly in light of my short-term residence in this vicinity." In an effort to encourage unity and understanding, he proposed, "Allow me to be guided to your supervisor for a talk that may result in a satisfactory outcome. If excitement is insufficient, I am willing to engage directly with your boss, leading our conversation in a more diplomatic direction that could pave the way for an acceptable conclusion that benefits all parties concerned."
He let off an exasperated sigh, he reached into his pocket and plucked a cigarette from his stash he had hidden away. He retrieved his lighter and he lit the tip. He puffed, he drooped and sighed once more. He let off a puff of smoke, he plunged his hands into his pockets and gave him a lightly annoyed reply as he turned away to lead the way... "Follow me."
Where they were headed was nothing discrete to anyone on the island. Their next destination was... Leiden, HQ however before that. Aerom had to release Iris, "I won't go on without a secured sense of peace between both of our units. Since this is the option you have chosen and one that I've, reluctantly, agreed to... Give me Iris without any strings attached and I'll ensure she doesn't bite your hand too hard."
They came upon Leiden, HQ. Slowly approaching it from a distance, Akai led the group. They were bound to make amends in what way they could but the risk is too great to sacrifice lives needlessly.Had Aerom chose to comply, they'd advance to the HQ in which Iris and Akai have a silent back and forth; an intense argument and discussion on the turn of events.
