Jeru is a dark-skinned human man with short dark hair. He wears, a yellow t-shirt or tanktop (the latter having black shoulder pads), black fingerless gloves, black pants, and motorcycle boots. He wears green sunglasses and his hair is more shaved on the sides, sports a yellow muscle shirt with sleeves rolled up into his biceps and an ample V-shaped neck which he leaves unbuttoned (exposing part of his pectorals), ditches the shoulder pads in favor of suspenders, and his boots gain an armor-like appearance with yellow plates/guards.

Jeru is seen as a cool, handsome man who never gives up a fight. Though mostly serious at times, he occasionally displayed a witty sense of humor.

Early Life:Jeru was born to a poor family in Water 7. His father and brothers were all Shipwrights, and Jeru hoped to grow up similarly. However, due to their lackluster abilities, Jeru's family remained poor and were often subjected to violence.
Adulthood:Sometime during his youth, Jeru had grown tired of being poor and having to deal with folk stealing from his family's lumber yard. When he came of age, Jeru opted to join the local police force with hopes of eventually joining the Marines. Jeru was an exceptional police officer, melding a cold-head with a kind heart. He was strict but also understanding, something the other officers couldn't compare to. As such, Jeru was often given the most difficult cases and called out to handle the more difficult criminals. Jeru didn't like how the others in the policeforce were often using their power to abuse and extort others, and after nearly a decade as an officer, Jeru quite the force.
Jeru's Carpentry Shop:One day Jeru's father gave Jeru the option to take over the lumber yard and open his own shop. Having just quit the force, Jeru took the offer. Jeru first used his store to build furniture for local taverns, knowing people often destroyed barstools during the many brawls he broke up during his time on the force. Slowly but surely, Jeru began to make a name for himself as a woodworker. Unfortunately, that brought negative attention toward Jeru. Police soon became aware of his shop and would destroy Jeru's work and try to extort him for "protection fees". Jeru knowing this song and dance refused to pay, and has ever since been subjected to harassment from his local police.

Rough Carpentry: Rough Carpentry is not a martial art but a combat style itself. Jeru is a handy man at heart, and thus he has learned how to use his tools to "fix" any problem he faces, including if people are his problem. He uses Powerdrills, Drill Bits, Screwdrivers, Nuts, Bolts, and Screws in combat to damage his opponents.
