But without Croc and Alabasta being a thing. It wasplanned as short pirate story with Nika and One Piece, but a lot of stuff like Shichibukai and Supernova was added.

I think chapter 116 was eventhe chapter that introduced them

Oda just goes with flow. Hhe had no plan for worse generation. It was a last minute addition. Same for haki, he had no plan for haki during earlier time that's why haki had no color.


Only things he planned were death.


I have even read that ace was created as elder son of dragon but later changed
