Island Palla

[Ziosa]

Palla is an island which is almost completely covered by one giant city. It is a hub of trade, crime and various other activities with one main unwritten rule. Every inhabitant knows to never go near the large castle at its center or mess with the people who call it home. Inside this castle lives the ruler of the city Athena, who is one of the Olympians but hardly ever leaves her domain. Her subordinates the Athenaid, govern and protect the city in her stead; due to their power no one messes with them unless they wish to die.

The World Government wanting to open its arms and then let the nation in without wanting to waste its resources on a possible war or even cleansing the country of superpowers. Once Palla would be highlighted as a target the others would react, though right now following the desolations of Lemnos, Serapis, and the Trickster Pirates. The King of Olympus would receive intel but that would be something that would come along the journey for now a Marine vessel was waiting to depart from the local Marine Base.

A group of marine soldiers donned in their marine attire would walk out and make their way onto the marine ship with two who would stand out at the front. " All of you to your stations as we prepare to set sail in 00:10 hours " with another looking up at the heavenly skies murmuring " Attendre et espérer " (Wait and hope)

A Military Ship


The moon brightened up the dark sky, but not enough to overtake the clouds. A large cumulonimbus formation seemed to be lurking towards the marine base, all the more outlined by the glowing rock in the sky. Not that the crew of marines had much time to admire the view. Most of them were scrambling about, attempting to complete the finishing tasks for the ship to be ready for departure. There were some big names on the ship, though their feats were relatively unknown to most of the crew. It didn't matter to most of them anyway since orders were orders. Once everything was in order, the marines would turn about face and sprint towards the two men who had previously boarded the ship in front of them.

"Sirs! The ship is ready for departure!"

The marines stood in rows before them. Ready to take any command of their officers. They were ridged, but disciplined. The ship was a standard marine vessel, well kept and stocked for travel. The log pose would point in the direction of Palla. An Island that the World Government would love to take dominion of. Such a populace was sure to have benefits to offer the World Nobles. It was said that the entire island was one big city.

"I wonder if there are any cute ladies on this island..."

"Idiot, of course there are bound to be some cuties on an island that is one big city."

Moments, after the marines got to their duties and ready to set sail, like holding a palm full of sand and then opening your hand as sand would blow, with one of the commanders vanishing into the shadows. Unknown to anyone he had vanished leaving the battleship with a single commander who was now in charge. The commander who was in charge of the operation was a new commander that was recruited to fill in the gaps that once Link and his covert division once held. He'd have a friendly exterior with which his underlings would possess a friendly yet respectful relationship as the men scurried around the deck to ensure they'd reach their destination. To which he'd reply and respond with a friendly smile.

Who was this commander? ... His name is Shimotsuki Shiki, a swordsman once of wano who vanished to change the curbs of destiny of what the world wanted him to become. His objective was also to deliver one of two letters, and one was to specifically hand over one to Athena and the other to a sleeper agent. Shiki was informed that the man he was looking for was a man who was calling himself the Devil or otherwise going by the name Lucifer Morningstar.

After a day or two of travel the sighting of Palla could be sighted as Shiki sat right in front of the deck of the ship, taking a moment to sip a cup of jasmine tea as he grinned.

Lesbos (Palla): The Port of Poets

It had been a few days of travel, but the crew had come to really enjoy Shimotsuki Shiki. He was a respectful man who had brought an air of kindness to the ship. The marines seemed to be eager to help him, especially since he was so nice. Together they had fought through the storms of the New World and overcame. Commander Shiki had directed the men with grace and poise. They had managed to reach their destination. The Island made up of nothing but city. It was absolutely magnificent.

Two marble soldiers stood at attention as the waves crashed against their base. They would tower over the ship as it sailed in between them. Stoic and regal, though they seemed, their faces seemed to have a tinge of sadness about them. The squawk of gulls could be heard as a group of the pesky sky rats glided over the navy ship onto a few of the fishing boats that resided in the bay. It seemed that the boats were working together to bring up a net of fish, and the seagulls were looking for scraps. They cawed loudly with excitement, seeming to be ready to take a fish the moment they hit the deck of the ship.

Passing through the bay into the harbor, the marine ship would find that this island truly was a city in its entirety. Docking went fairly smoothly, as the ship was brought into a special area. Though the World Government was not in full control of this island, it seemed that they had recognized that this ship was important. As the gangplank hit the stone walkway, a very small and hairy looking human with a hood would scramble their way up and hop onto the deck of the ship. They would approach the nearest person and suddenly whip out a clipboard and a felt tip pen. Clearing their voice, they would speak.

"Ahem, greetings and salutations. Welcome to Lesbos, Port of Poets. My name is Deucalion. A pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am here to make an inquiry in regards to your purpose here on Palla. If there is any way that I can be of assistance, please do not hesitate to direct any questions to me."

Deucalion would give a little smile and nod at whoever he was talking to, and then begin writing something on his notepad. The dock seemed to be relatively empty on this side, save for a few people here and there walking around. It appeared to be a bit farther from the entrance into the city, but perhaps that was just the way that most people entered through the city. Along the boardwalk, a bunch of food stalls could be seen. The smell of fresh fish was decadent, even this early in the morning.

" Everyone careful, remember Palla is not a country under World Government rule. "

Those orders would arrive as a small hoodied individual arrive on the deck with a pad and felt tip in hand, startling many of the officers on the deck closest as they turned their gaze to Shiki. He'd then make his way towards Deucalion then hold his hand on his chest and speak in a respectful manner.

" It's an honor to meet you Deucalion. Our purpose is to seek an audience with Queen Athena. "

The answer would be scribbled down by Deucalion, to which Shiki would await his response.


Meanwhile, in a club, I sat at the bar in the club with music being played with many dancing as the bartender would walk towards me and ask me what I wanted to which I would turn to him after eyeing a few beauties.

" Do you guys serve a Red Devil? " followed with a sly chuckle.

Deucalion turned about face to look up at Commander Shiki. His eyes upturned as his little pink nose began to wiggle, causing his rather impressive white mustache to match it's movements. A warm belly laugh escaped from the tiny little frame. One that could warm up a cold room or bring a smile to a crying child. Though most of the Marines seemed caught off guard at first, once Deucalion started laughing a few of them seemed to be put to ease.

"Gwafafafafafafa! Well it is an honor to meet you..."

Deucalion would pause, in hopes that Commander Shiki would introduce himself. That was brought short after the marine made a request to speak with Queen Athena. It was common knowledge that the Queen rarely left Palla Castle. Deucalion would shake his head profusely, a curly tuft of hair bouncing about underneath his hood. Surely these World Government types would have known this already?

"Oh dear. I am afraid that is quite impossible. For you see... Queen Athena never leaves Palla Castle, at the center of the island. In order to speak with her you would have to go to the castle itself. The Athenaid reside over that area and no one dares approach... b-b-but perhaps you may be able to procure attendance with her"

He would bow a low before the group of marines. Then he would pop back up with his notepad, seeming to take notes once more. As he wrote he would wobble back and forth, pacing until he completed his entry. He would then turn back towards Shiki, speaking up once more.

"I would offer to take you there, but unfortunately, I am the dockmaster. I must remain at my post. But, I bet the Oracle of Themes could help you. I am sure that she can provide you with the answers you may be seeking. Her palm reading shop is down that way, close to the end of Port Lesbos. If you have any dock related needs though please don't hesitate to call, Gwafafa!"

He would point down the boardwalk to a shop that had a hanging sign with a big purple eye on it. The eye was piercing and quite dilated. Part of the paint seemed to be chipped but underneath the eye were the words "Oracle of Themes: Palm Reader Galore!" in big, bold letters. Instead of a door, the entrance had a curtain of beads. The windows were dark and it almost looked abandoned. If anyone had taken their eyes off Deucalion at this point, they would not find him in his original spot any more. The little man had skittered off the boat quickly. It seemed like he was off to inspect more ships, leaving Shiki and his crew to their business.

Elsewhere...

A man sits at the bar of a club. It is early in the morning but that had never stopped anyone from having a good time. As a famous poet once said, "It is 05:50 somewhere." The bar was called Asphodel's Whimsy. The dark wood floors didn't even creak as seven women danced to the music that the live band played. A girl with green hair would dance alongside a girl with short red hair, while a girl with long black hair would sway nervously in the corner of the bar. On stage with the band, a woman with very long silvery hair would passionately sway to the music as the vocalists sang their song.

"The sea rushes over where you buy your bread,
An icy wind follows to make your day colder,
The only thing left is to cover your head,
throw your mother's bones over your shoulder!"

Before the man knew it, a group of three women dancing together would also catch his eye. The first seemed to be the oldest of the bunch, with a seductive smile, she would wink at the man. The second was also winking at the man, though she seemed to be a bit more mischievous than the older looking girl. The last seemed to be struggling a bit. while dancing, one of her heels turn sideways and she was forced to try and pull her boot back up. With so many beautiful girls, it was easy to get lost in having a good time at Asphodel's Whimsy. All the women here were quite fetching. The same could not be said about the bartender that approached the man. His skin was grey and he had a little hump back. He gave the man a toothless grin, save for a single golden tooth, as he shined a mug.

"Hell', Hell'. H'w are y'u t'day? What can I's get y'u?"

" Do you guys serve a Red Devil? "

"Why 'f c'urse we d'. 'Ne Red Devil, c'ming up!"

Despite his looks, it seemed that the bartender was quite skilled at his job. Vodka. Peach Schnapps. Whiskey. Gin. Triple Sec. Orange Juice. Grenadine. All these things were poured into a shaker with ice. The bartender would shake with vigor, even going as far as to throw the shaker from behind his back and catch it upside down, pouring it into a glass for the customer. A bright red fluid filled it up as the Bartender grins again.

"D'n't think I've seen y'u ar'und these parts, stranger. Are y'u new t' Palla?"​

Shiki would monitor the manner of Deucalion from taking notes, though bit his tongue on commenting on it refusing to do so. Staying silent as he'd respond though not with the answer he was expecting neither was hoping for. His facial reaction didn't hint at anything, keeping a poker face waiting until he'd finished speaking.

Squinting as he'd take a deep breath... " I see you mistaken with what I said. I don't mean you any offense or neither disrespect. Though I wanted to just seek an audience. Though seeing as Athena doesn't leave the castle, I was hoping we could make contact to arrange such. "

... " Athenaid? ... Apologies for the so many questions, just what is this? " ... oblivious due to them never setting foot on Palla prior so they would haven't the faintest idea with him continue jotting down.

" I see thank you for your hospitality Deucalion I will heed your words carefully. " ... instead of asking any further questions as he knew it was pointless so would follow with a semi-bow as a sign of respect.

Though before he'd allow Deucalion to even leave he'd make a request ... " Deucalion I bare you one request, I am to set foot onto this island and follow your insight. I would like my men unarmed, a location for them to stay and that's all " ... bearing in mind that he had many underlings that he was leading and was put in command of and valued their lives hanged in the balance and on Shiki's shoulders.

Allowing Deucalion to leave to carry on with his tasks as Shiki would land on the island and then turn in the direction of one said Oracle of Themes. The location looked like it was a building that was long out of business, staring at the outside looking in. " Is this the correct place? "



Elsewhere, upon asking for my request as to what drink I would order, music would be sung that was done would be one that would sucker any man to hear them. Yet I stood on my stool, not giving an inch in being swayed. As the bartender's frightening yet repulsive appearance would then begin making my drink I remained calm until asked about not being part of this area.

" Your correct yet very wrong, long ago I was here when Athena was a little girl and her father was the king. What was his name again? " ... speaking as I would tap my head hoping to recall the details ... " Oh yeah it was Ares, seeing as I did her father a favor it's time for me to collect. "

Then turning my head towards the girl staring at each of them one by one, eyeing them up head to toe then softly chuckling ... " eenie meenie miney mo, which hottie do i bed or do i go for all? "

Deucalion was quick to pitter patter about the ship, seeming to take notes. Hurrying along and absent-mindedly answering questions from Shiki. His answered even seemed to be empty as he spoke, like he had rehearsed them many a time in the mirror.

"Yes, well... Queen Athena has honestly not had a visitor in some time. I heard that there is some one looking for the Queen and her family. She has been shut up for quite some time. Her enforcers, the Athenaid, enforce her law and keep us all safe in her stead. I would offer to take you there, but unfortunately, I am the dockmaster. I must remain at my post. But, I bet the Oracle of Themes could help you. I am sure that she can provide you with the answers you may be seeking. Her palm reading shop is down that way, close to the end of Port Lesbos. If you have any dock related needs though please don't hesitate to call."

He made a final scribble on his note pad and began to scurry off the ship when something stopped him. Those words had reached his tiny heart. The thump thump of his heart could be heard by those close by to him. Tears welled up in his eyes. When was the last time that someone had said that to him. He turned to Shiki, his face twisted and tears flowing down his cheeks into his bushy mustache and beard. His little tuft of hair jiggled as he turned, his arms outstretched. He would hug Shiki's leg, soaking it with tears.

"No one... has said that to me in so long. How can I not help someone like you! Bwaaaahhh!"

He would cry like that for a bit before pulling himself together. His eyes were puffy and red, and his hair was a matted catastrophe. Through this, the corners of his mustache twisted upwards, showing a very small set of teeth. An odd mix of warm and uncomfortable.

"Your crew can stay at my dock house. For free of course. My daughters haven't cooked a big meal up in a long time! Why we could have a feast!"

The Marines looked to their commanding officer. Some seemed to be excited at the prospect of getting fed by cute girls. Others seemed to wonder if the daughters would look just like Deucalion. The rest seemed to just wonder what this Palla place was about. The tiny, furry man would reach into his pocket, holding a torn up piece of paper. Carefully, Deucalion would make a small tear at the corner of the paper before folding it up and putting it back into his pocket. After this he would present the small torn corner to Shiki. A Vivre Card.

"After you talk with the Oracle, you should use this to find me. We can all have lunch together... Friend!"

He would smile and give a tearful thumbs up as he would lead the crew off to his dock house, which seemed to be in the opposite direction of the Oracle of Theme's shop. The marine would walk up to the doorway and look in, curious of if it was even occupied. The building seemed quite dark in comparison to how things looked outside, requiring Shiki's eyes to adjust. Before they could, flickers of soft candle lights would appear along the edges of the room, one by one. A smoke seemed to billow along the floor as the smell of incense would invade Shiki's sense of smell. Before him was what looked like a relatively empty room, a single table with a large table cloth rested at the center of the room. On the side closest to Shiki was an empty chair. Opposite of that side, and farthest from Shiki, sat a shadowy figure.

"There's a Port on a western bay and it serves a hundred ships a day. Lonely sailors pass the time away and talk about their homes. Ufufufuu~"

The figure leaned back in their chair, the light hitting them now and revealing their outline. A minx rested her hands at her waist while her feet rested on the counter. Her tail twitched back and forth slowly as she looked Shiki over. She would gesture for Shiki to take a seat at the empty chair. Her eyes flashing green as the firelight reflected off of them.

"Plans of what our futures hold, foolish lies of growing old. It seems we're so invincible but the truth is so cold. What is it that you seek World Government Man?"

Despite his looks, the bartender seemed to make one hell of a drink. He was skilled in his craft though he looked like a raisin. His eyes grew with unbelief the more that he was told. How could someone who looked so young have lived so long ago? He began to clean a glass as he squinted one eye and looked the well dressed man up and down.

"Ehh? Y'u can't be m're than 25 years 'ld. Well, I guess y'u c'uld have been a kid back then..."

He grew lost in thought, but it seemed that the customer had already moved on. The mysterious man's eyes had wondered to the various candies in the bar. It seemed that the older one that had been smiling at him before made her way towards him. Her hips swayed as she sauntered up to the mysterious individual. Her coy smile had returned to her face as she leaned against the bar.

"I saw you looking my way. What is a guy like you doing in a boring place like this?"​

' I guess this is the way. ' pondering as he made his way with a voice as if someone was awaiting his arrival.

The mink purred at Shiki's response. She would hold her hand out, offering the marine to take it. If he relinquished his hand, she would take it very carefully, the soft pads on her fingers feeling softer than the mans own skin. Her eyes seemed to scan the cracks and crevices of his palm, thumbing along. Her soft hum would almost be relaxing as she eventually spoke again.

"There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold, and she's buying a stairway to heaven... Gonna let it rock and let it roll, let the bible belt come down and save my soul... Now play a pretty good fiddle boy but give the devil his due, I bet a fiddle of gold against your soul cause I think I'm better than you.... Ufufufufufu~."

The mink seemed to be entertained in what she saw. With a soft tap on his hand, she would speak again.

"You will find your audience through a fallen angel. The angel will have a choice to make, one which will shift the direction of hell. When your paths cross, you will find everything you were looking for. If you can find the Garden of the Hesperides, you will find your angel."

The mink oracle would place her hand with her pads showing up as a symbol of placing Shiki's hand, who'd hesitate at first then he did exactly so resting his palms over her soft pads. Gazing at the Mink the entire time without blinking still hesitant yet the soft humming would relax him enough. The mink provided some information about the Queen, he wasn't understanding the response as it was a clue to who Athena was. His oblivious nature would have him squint then the soft feeling of the pad pressing on his hand would ease his curiosity.

Giving off a soft chuckle as a response then responding to her latter comment, " Thank you for your assistance and co-operation ... The Garden of Hesprides?, where do I find this garden? Oracle of Themes:

The Oracle purred at Shiki's question. Looking over Shiki's Palm, she spoke again. This time there was no riddle. Her pinky drew along his wrist as a claw drug along the skin, ripping open his wrist. Or did it? If inspected there would be no wound. Killing intent had emanated through her body into his. It was brief, but her voice had remained neutral the entire time.

The Garden of Hesperides is a club down in the Tartarus District... It's a rough, powerful underbelly of Palla. Only the truly wicked call that place their home. They say that it is run by the great Titan Atlas. Some say he had giant in his blood. He runs the Titan Family, a terrifying gang with an ambitious leader.

Drawing her hand away from Shiki, she would begin to clean herself. Her tongue wet her left paw as she drew it up to wipe the back of her head down over her ear. After a moment she would arch her back, the marine hearing the pop pop pop of her back as she relaxed again. A relaxed sigh suggesting this was normal behavior.

The Tartarus District is south east of here. Once you exit the port you will come to the stone way. Just take a Wally Wagon. It should only cost about 20 beri as fair.

She would show the marine a picture of an ad. A golden chariot was being pulled by giant armored earthworms. Wally's Wagons get you where you need to go in styleee! You both walk your way out of Asphodel's Whimsey into the streets of the Tartarus District. The building's here are made of onyx bricks. It is daytime but it feels like night. But that is how it always is here in the Tartarus district. Built into the side of a mountain, former prisoners and their families call this place their home. At one point, someone committed a crime against the Olympians and their entire ilk took the punishment with them.

You and the lovely lady under your arm walk through the streets, taking lefts and rights. Every building would looks relatively the same, until you find yourself at a harbor. Though it was dark in the cave, the light from the giant building before them really brightened up the view. It was a Casino with the words "The Garden of Hesperides" flickering from a giant fire lit behind it. A pair of giant French doors were at the entrance, two well dressed guards with sunglasses and earpieces in. They stood on one side of a Velcro rope while a line of people stood down the boardwalk to get in.

After Shiki asked about the whereabouts of how to get to the Garden, the mink oracle drew her pink against his wrist feeling her warm voice feeling her aura that had dug her claw against his wrist, he'd check his wrist later but for now, he wanted answers. She'd then speak informing him how to get there and about the garden, whilst she spoke of it he'd also contemplate. ' Why am I not surprised this like other countries, nations, and continents all have in common, an underbelly but there's something different that is the blood of Atlas and an ambitious leader. '

She'd then take her paw off Shiki's then began to groom herself, then began to act really laxly around him informing Shiki just the location of where one would head to the Garden. Then pulling out an ad revealing the mode of transport, with his right eye squinting then would cough, clench, and unclench his extended hand then would speak.

" Thank you for the information, I have a question I'd like to ask you. But before I do ask you this I will wanna complete my mission. " ... he'd then take the coupon, check his wrist then back at her before smiling as he departed.

He'd then make his way towards Wally's Wagon, with a strange feeling still churning inside of the intent shown by the mink. He would stumble across the wagon admin sat at the front of an elder lady with blonde hair, a long nose, and a dimple.

Hades in the Garden of Hespiredes:

The lady would smile as Shiki approached with his coupon. She would squint at a tiny map on the desk in front of her, looking for The Gardens. She would slowly mutter the names of each district. Her voice was quite shaky, matching her little index finger as she would also point at each district on the map. This process was sure to be quite painful for the marine.

"G-G-Gardens-s-s you s-say? W-w-well l-le-ts t-t-take a look-sy...... Ga-r-dino-o D-D-District...... T-Taurus D-D-District...... L-La-Laurel Dis-strict...... G-Gardesa District....... Oh...... Um...... Y-Yes...... F-Found t-the G-G-Gardens D-District...... That coupon y-you g-g-got there isn't g-going to co-cover the c-cost of the trip I'm afraid...... B-But...... Hmm...... N-No...... She would look up slowly at Shiki and smile sweetly. Handing him a ticket, she would stand up and shuffle towards the warehouse in order to lead him. They sluggishly passed by personal sized wagons pulled by odd winged creatures that have the head of a bird and the body of a lion. Each of these creatures seemed to be panting heavily, as though they were already tired. After passing a few they would come to a stop at wagon with a particularly ridiculous face. The lady would scurry towards the creature as it let out a joyful cry.

"Doh-Dooooooohhhhhh!!!"

It licked her face fervently, eventually turning to face Shiki with it's tongue hanging loosely from the side of it's mouth. It would seem that the animal was docile. The old lady would pat the creature's beak as she handed Shiki the key to the Wagon. Should Shiki look inside, he would find a completely lavish interior, complete with a cast-iron stove and a comfy bed. The lady would speak to Shiki weather he looked inside or not.

"T-T-This c-c-cutie h-h-here-e is Gryphon. H-he i-is j-j-just the g-gosh d-d-darnit b-best W-W-Wally i-in t-t-t-t-town. T-Tell h-him w-w-w-where you want to go a-a-and he will take you. G-G-Gryphon H-honey, T-This sweet y-y-young m-man n-n-needs to get to the G-Garden... ah... D-District... C-C-Can you be a dear and t-t-take h-h-him th-th-there?"

The Wally seemed quite happy to take Shiki to his destination. It smiled with it's eyes as it flapped it's wings a little. It was clear that Shiki could have a relatively relaxing ride to his next destination.

Lucifer slid the guards money, each one looking at the bills in the hands and feeling it in their fingers before looking at one another and smirking. The one on the left would remove the rope and allow the two to enter The Garden of the Hesperides. Lucifer and the woman would make their way through the rope, but once they passed, the guard placed the rope back in its place. The couple would be able to hear a man who was next in line drone on to the guard.

"Aw come on dude. He definitely wasn't on the list. Why do you keep doing this!?"

"*sigh* Your name's not on the list."

"Okay but, His name is- never mind. Listen, I didn't want to have to say this, but I am good friends with "Skybearer" Atlas. I would hate to have to tell him that you guys wouldn't let his best friend in."

"*audibly annoyed* If Atlas knew you, you'd already be inside."

The inside of the casino was quite lively. Money was exchanging hands at a speed that would make a perceptive person grow concerned. Crowds hovered over tables as the sound of dice rolling, wheels being spun, and cards beings flipped filled the air. A band played over near the bar. Their music was active and lively. The blue haired girl would hug Lucifer's arm, nodding over to the bar. She would start to walk that way and pull on his arm, hoping to lead him to the bartender. He would politely bow to Lucifer and the girl before speaking in an oddly deep voice.

"Hello. Welcome to The Garden of the Hesperides. My name is Decim. What can I get for you today?"​

Right after handing the ticket to the elderly woman, he'd simply sigh as she read the destination points then as she did so she'd then hand a ticket over to Shiki, who'd take out his hand and grab the ticket. Though to his surprise a huge wagon would be pushed by a thing that looked like it came out of myth and legend. His eyes gauged wide at shock ... ' You gotta be shitting me, is this for real? '

The creature would then lean over and lick her face with her smiling then handing a key over to the wagon, Shiki would reach out again and take the key then take a look at the creature that she called Gryphon.

Shiki would walk right before the Gryphon reaching out taking his hand and patting the beak, " Hey buddy thank you and can you take me as soon as possible? " to having it excited as Shiki turned the key into the wagon and hopped in with the Gryphon excited.

I'd make my way through as the guard would reach to undo the rope and then put it back in its place. Walking in as the sound of casino machines with voices and drinks can be heard and sniffed. With the blue hair beauty nodded at the sound of music and cards flipping as games were being played. She would hug my arm and make our way to the bar, the bartender would be ready and ask what can he get for me.

" Well there's so much I wanna ask, but right now I want you to hook me up with your finest and anything for the lady " as she smiled clinging to my arm. I could feel her warm body against my arm, feeling some sort of game was being played against me. After a few drinks, she'd head to the bathroom, with me and Decim alone at the bar then asking him.

" I have a few questions but first thing first, do you know how I may find one named Athena, the daughter of Ares? " with a serious face. Though before he could respond I'd make the comment ... " I remember when Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, and Ares were just little kids and their father Kronos went on a rampage claiming islands left and right. That was them under the order from the council of Skyfathers. " then halting any further comment to hear Decim's answer to my question.

Shiki reached out to pat Gryphon on the beak, asking if the creature would take him as soon as possible. The giant animal would lean down a bit, allowing the marine to touch him. With a glint in it's eye, it would attack in a most unexpected and sticky way. Like a whip, it's tongue would fly towards Shiki's face, threatening to lick the man off of the ground for a brief moment and get his face and top a little wet. Puffing up his chest, Gryphon would give his response.

"DOH!!"

After this exchange, Shiki would make his way into the wagon. It had all of the comforts of home. He would find that the furniture was actually quite comfortable. Through the window he would see Gryphon seeming to have one last goodbye with the elderly woman. She was hugging his beak and giving him light pats.

"A-A-All right s-sweet G-G-G-Gryphon... Y-You be safe... O-Off y-you g-go to the G-Garden D-District..."

Rearing up, Gryphon let off one last triumphant cry before dashing out of the warehouse into the streets. If Shiki wasn't sitting down he would find himself sitting down after. Gryphon jolted off. His tongue trailed behind his head, spittle trailing a bit. The cobblestone road caused the wagon to shake a little bit, but everything seemed to still be in place. Onlookers would attempt to get a glimpse of the person who was riding in the Wally Wagon that was driving pedestrians off of the street. If one thing was clear, Gryphon was looking like he was having the time of his life.

Decim's face seemed to remain stoic as Lucifer spoke. As the man made his request, the bartender would bow and begin preparing their drinks. Pouring the light pink liquid into two chilled glasses, he would garnish each with a wheel of lime. Using his index fingers, he would gently push the drinks towards the couple. He calmly listened to Lucifer and waited for him to finish speaking before he spoke.

"Two Smoke Also Rises. Enjoy."

The two would find that the drink started out tasting citrus-y, followed by a hint of sweet maraschino, and ended with dry, smoky rabarbaro. The blue haired woman took a sip and her eyes grew wide. The drink was quite delicious, but also extremely strong. Her face flushed as another coy smile crept along her face. She looked over Lucifer again, seeming to enjoy her view.

"You have given an extensive list of some very powerful people. Athena has been the Queen over this Island for some time... She resides in the castle at the center of Palla."

The bartender was very short and to the point. After a moment of silence it seemed like he was going to say something, but the blue haired woman would cozy up against Lucifer. Her face was a much redder shade than it was before. Smiling at him, she would coo playfully.

"Why are you asking about finding Queen Athena? I thought we were going to have some fun~."

"That woman isn't worth her salt."

At the mention of Queen Athena, a voice spoke up beside Lucifer. It was deep and earthy, almost like a low frequency hum. A very large man sat in the chair beside Lucifer. He must have been at least 12 feet tall, barely fitting in the chair provided for him. He had a glass with brown liquor in it that he sloshed about as he looked over at the Lunarian. A face that might not have been recognizable to someone who was so long lived. Reaching into the breast pocket of his jacket, he would pull out a roll of beri that he would hand to the blue haired girl.

"Good work Aerica. Not exactly what I asked of you girls, but... Who could have expected this? Decim, make sure you give her whatever she wants to drink for the rest of the night. On the house. Consider it an addition to your allowance I guess."

The Bartender would bow respectfully, deeper than he did with Lucifer. His response would definitely shift the mood of the room.

"As you command, Lord Atlas."​

The Gryphon would show signs of affection with Shiki as he patted his beak before he made his way into the wagon. Finding himself comfortable under the soft seating and a window to see the surroundings. The elderly lady would speak with the Gryphon who was exceedingly overexcited and would make his way pushing the wagon.

Along the journey, Shiki would re-position his seating gazing out the windows and noting the traverse surrounding of the landscape until something begin vibrating as a sound would resonate

Shiki would stare at the Den Den until he answered.

[*gacha *]

" Hello? " he would answer until he realised the voice over the call was familiar and from the ship to which he responded, "What's up? ... Did something happen? " ... The voice that came from a marine officer stationed back at the ship until he would state that there was a static call that came from a marooned marine ship at another location.

This is just to bring up later as the next adventure as it won't play a part in Palla

With the den den call ending Shiki would sigh heavily then raise his head back, looking at the roof with him then thinking to himself ... ' Damn forgot to ask the elderly lady how long was this journey and hope Lucifer is there '

I'd wait patiently whilst watching Decim prepare the drinks, to which I'd take a sip knocking the drink back, my taste buds could taste the citrus-y, followed by a hint of sweet maraschino, and ended with dry, smoky rabarbaro from the drink. ' I need to offer this man a job '

Feeling the beauty grab onto my arm tightly whilst taking her sip and smiled until Decim responded which would make her face turn red as she responded right after to why I was asking about her.

" Interesting, thank you. Decim was it? ... I would wanna offer you a job as my bartender for my club, so how about the offer? ... " then turned to the beauty to answer to her comment ... " I have unfinished business with ~ " before I could finish another voice would cut me off.

Until the voice who would get out of his seat then reach into his pocket pull out some beli and rolling it over the beauty, I simply would take pick up my glass with the drink then raise it up feigning to take a sip but instead would scoff at the man's statement. Without even batting an eye to the man or the beauty.

Witnessing Decim bow even further with more respect noting he had rejected my proposal ... " I see your nothing but a harlot, Aerica? "

The mood of the room would shift to the point that I remained still composed, all the while having everything pile up from the very bar that I was at originally and then wooed by Aerica then knocking back the drink.

" Decim, give me your strongest scotch whiskey on the rocks and none of the cheap stuff " ... reaching into my inside pocket to pull out a luxurious cigar that i would rest in between my lips in the corner of my mouth.
