Led by Elizabello II, Prodence has in the last few years suffered many wars, after losing the protection that King Riku of Dressrosa provided. Even the strength of the king or wits of his trusty tactician Dagama is enough to keep the peace. A few months ago the biggest threat so far landed in Prodence. The revolutionary army has set its eyes on the prize.

Purururu. Purururu. Purururu. Indeed a sound well-known throughout the world. The sound of a Den Den Mushi. Marine Vice Admiral Leo was sitting in his office when a call came in.

Vice Admiral Leo, we are ready to depart! All preparations have been taken care of!

One of the subordinates said, Leo nodding.

I am coming now.

Leo said, hanging up. Throwing his customized Vice Admiral coat over his shoulders, he left his office. He boarded the ship, and they were ready to set sail. Days later, the shores of the Prodence Kingdom came into view. Leo stood cross-armed in the crow's nest of the ship, gazing into the distance. To the extent that human vision would allow him, he would observe the Prodence Kingdom from a distance, gauging whether anything suspicious was happening there. He would also keep an eye out for ships in the vicinity, flags of pirates or Revolutionaries, and the like. As for what the high-profile Marine Vice Admiral was here for? Nothing good, at least as far as the Revolutionaries were concerned. Soon, they would be face to face with the terror of Absolute Justice.

Edit: I was told to put my stats here, so here they are: (my bio is linked in my sig also, if it helps)

War of Treason | A Violent Welcome - #1

Providence Kingdom bled. Sieged by the unruly hand of the Revolutionary Army, the two sides had clashed for weeks. Seeing an opportunity from a once great kingdom debilitated by Civil War, the Revolution saw an opportunity for a placeholder in the New World, preaching freedom at the cost of occupation.

King Elizabello was known for his prideful heart, bent on protecting his people from occupation of any means, Including from both World Government and the Revolutionary Army. Seeing face-to-face what those forces did in Dressrossa, to the King and to his people, it would be freedom or death.

Carrying that will, Providence Kingdom pushed back the invading army, now locked in a stalemate. Irreparable losses on each side. The turning point in the war was resources, medicine and food, all coming in by sea. The biggest dock, fittingly names Fortune Dock, was locked in a decisive battle.

Fortune Dock was circular, with giant walls hugging the waters but-for the center of the oval-dock, where a ship could dock. Man made walls stood in front of the battleground, cutting off entry to each side. Cannonballs and towers mounted along the walls in both sides. In front of dock opening, dozens of soldiers fought amidst cannonball and shrapnel.

[Dagama] “Keep the forces at bay! We need only five minutes! The tunnel will be complete! FOR FREEDOM!”

Inside the Providence walls, Commander Dagama gave orders, his watch counting the time till his tactic. The man inhaled gunpowder and steel, making his way to the wall and debut.

[Dollet] “Archers at ready? Blanket the sky. Put them in darkness! Blind the skies for our air troops to flank! FOR FREEDOM! ”

With similar gusto and goal, Dollet, commander of the Revolutionary forces set up his gambit. Inside the wall, inside the command center, orders went out. Archers began making their way to the wall, and the revving of engines echoed.

In the distance, Vice-Admiral Leo could see smoke rising from the dock. He entered a battleground. On approach to the oval-shaped dock, cannon-fire came from both sides. The Marine flag was a symbol of oppression from both sides, and a most violent welcome was received. The cannon fire would aim at the sails and deck. Sustained fire aimed to sink the unwelcome third party.

Marine Vice Admiral Leo continued to stand cross-armed in the crow's nest, his customized Vice Admiral jacket fluttering in the wind, his watchful eye perpetually observing as the Prodence Kingdom came into view. A number of things were quickly noticed and taken into account. There was the main port, which was surrounded by powerful walls. There was a battle already happening, between the Prodence Kingdom and the Revolutionary Army. However, at the sight of an incoming Marine vessel, both sides started firing cannonballs from their respective ends. As such, Marine Vice Admiral Leo's vessel found itself under attack. Leo uncrossed his arms and bent his knees, before pushing out of the crow's nest and propelling himself into the air. Once in the air, he started to spin around, unleashing many Rankyakus toward the incoming cannonballs.

Rankyaku Ran...!

The many Rankyakus would cut the incoming cannonballs in half, causing them to detonate at a safe distance from the Marine vessel. The powerful explosions that were set off, caused the Sea underneath the explosions to rock, and strong winds were created. As the smoke cleared, Marine Vice Admiral Leo was seen speeding through the Sky with Kamisori. He would appear in the Sky above the port, where he could attack either side over the wall. Looking down, he would observe to find out which side belonged to the Prodence Kingdom and which side belonged to the Revolutionary Army. Once identifying which side was which either based on flags or based on the presence of well-known individuals, he would look toward the Revolutionary Army. As he was hopping in place, pushing off of the air with Geppou, he raised his right arm high up into the air. His fist turned into raging fire, and with a glaring look, he roared.

HI... KEN...!

Swinging his fist downward, Marine Vice Admiral Leo unleashed a massive fiery fist straight into the Revolutionary Army's camp. The massive fiery fist was aimed to come crashing right into the middle of their camp, before spreading outward in a powerful wave of fire.

Regardless of the success of his own attack, he would Geppou down toward the Prodence Kingdom's side. If left unattacked, he would land and call for King Elizabello ll.

Rankyaku "Ran"
Requirements:
41 Mastery, 31 Strength
DPS: C
Description: After using Geppo to launch himself into the air, the user stabs his swords into the ceiling to stay in the air, then launches multiple Rankyaku with both legs. Each cut is smaller than a normal Rankyaku.

Kamisori
Requirements:
46 Mastery, 41 Strength and 61 Movement Speed
Description: A combination of Geppo and Soru, where the user uses Soru in a zigzag motion in midair, allowing extremely fast movements in three dimensions.

Hiken
Leo turns his fist into fire and then punches, unleashing a huge column of fire that can plough through several ships. Rank B.

War of Treason | The Three Fronts - #2

Both sides called audible at the Marine flag. Cannons rained from both sides towards the approaching vessel. A stout man appeared from the deck, making short work of the cannonballs, them only meeting ocean. The sea rocked, and smoke clouded the area. The man would disappear from his position, now looking down on his target: The Revolution encampment.
[Soldier] “Oy! Who is that?! The Marines are here! Alert Dollet at once!”
One of the soldiers manning the cannons on top of the wall clamored out a report. He saw a marine cloak, signifying standing within ranks. The SOS was sounded. Yet, it came too late. Those words would be followed by a shriek of terror. A giant fist of fire descended upon the middle of the encampment.

An explosion came next, gunpowder set ablaze. The RA In the battlefield pressed on to avoid the fire behind them, but many of the soldiers in the base lay fallen, eyes white and clothes burnt. as the remaining soldiers got their own together, a man of RA stature appeared from the command center. From the balcony, he witnessed the destruction.
[Soldier] “No... it can’t be. A commanding officer of Marines? Here?!”
[Soldier] “Don’t falter! Begin the Icarus Tactic! Prepare the tunnels! Archers, darken their world!”

While the RA tried to respond to the devastation, the Providence Kingdom was in it’s own disarray. Vice-Admiral Leo had appeared atop their base, demanding the King. He’d find soldiers were aiming at him. Guns and swords pointe. Trembling, as it were, but their distaste was clear.

[Hammond] “Do not lower your weapons!”
A voice came from the trenches. A tall muscly woman appeared from the many, equipped in the attire of a soldier in command. Other Providence Kingdom soldiers called her Captain, and she walked up to Leo and addressed him without a single worry.

[Hammond] “The King is not here. This is the front lines! And the Providence Kingdom does not need help from those who seek to turn opportunity to occupation!”

[Hammond] “Now leave! Or an enemy of the state you will become!”

The soldiers murmured amongst themselves. It was clear they were hesitant and scared of the newcomer. Some, however, joined Captain Hammond in a “Rawh!”. Vice-Admiral Leo had walked into a political nightmare.

Before more words could be exchanged, a soldier opened the gate to the Providence encampment, his face clad with worry.

[Hammond] “Captain Hammond! They trapped Commander Dagama! We need to save hi-!”

Those were last words. Arrows tore through the young soldier’s body. A shadow overtook the base. The sun was blotted out by hundreds of arrows. They descended upon the battlefield and the base threatening havoc. Unbeknown to the group, half a dozen small aircraft took lift behind the arrows, cloaked by them. They aimed to use the arrows and the sun to mask their approach. Icarus. To the command center, bombs at the ready.

Back at Leo’s ship. The cannon fire from the RA base continued once more, still seeking to sink the ship. Vulnerable without their strong leader.

Three fronts. In the battlefield, Dagama was cornered, circled by at least two dozen soldiers, expecting the end. At the base, the blotting arrows threatened all, cloaking the attack from above. Back at Leo’s ship, his own men were in peril, bombarded by an angry hornet’s nest.

Three fronts. One vice-Admiral. Time was of the essence. He couldn't get to all three at once. Which front would he chooss?

With the arrival of a high-profile Marine such as Vice Admiral Leo, into a hard-fought battle between a Kingdom and the Revolutionary Army, it was no wonder that many wheels started to turn all at once. Vice Admiral Leo's fire fist ripped into the Revolutionary Army camp with terrifying power and range. The fires set off gunpowder, creating further explosions and leading to the defeat of a number of the Revolutionary Army's soldiers. Seeing the effects of his attack, Leo Geppou'd down to the Prodence Kingdom camp, where he landed and called for the King. He was met with pointing swords and staring down the barrels of many a firearm. He expected such resistance, since the Prodence Kingdom was not part of the World Government. But that was fine - that was what he was here for. After being told that the King was not on the front lines, a female soldier walked out, addressing Leo and telling him to leave, if he wished not to become the enemy of the Kingdom. Before Leo could answer, a soldier came running, saying that their Commander, a man by the name of Dagama, had been trapped. Soon thereafter, arrows filled the Sky, while many a cannonball was fired toward Leo's Marine vessel. A three-pronged problem for the Vice Admiral. But while his soldiers were not all-powerful, they were sufficiently reliable. They were, after all, hand-picked by a man who fought for Absolute Justice. Vice Admiral Leo looked at Hammond, the female soldier of Prodence Kingdom, and spoke, glaringly.

As a Marine, I will never put the lives of civilians in danger. But you are soldiers. Don't think yourselves safe from my wrath. What will you do? Capitalize on my presence to win this battle, or bury yourself in a fight with me and the Revolutionary Army at the same time?

Vice Admiral Leo said, putting up an ultimatum. As he did so, he rose his hands up toward the Sky, still facing the Prodence Kingdom soldiers, not the incoming arrows.

Hotarubi... Hidaruma!

His hands had turned into green fire, and many a small green fireball was created, floating up into the air and spreading about. The many small green fireballs infiltrated the spaces inbetween the curtain of arrows. Vice Admiral Leo's hands suddenly turned into a raging red fire, and the many small green fireballs suddenly erupted into an inferno. Many of the arrows were burnt to the ground, some were knocked off of their course through concussive force, but a significant number would still rain down onto the Prodence Kingdom's camp - none headed for Vice Admiral Leo. Any would know Leo could have burnt all of the arrows to the ground at once, but he did not. He only took care of himself and those in his immediate vicinity, for now.

In the meantime, the cannonfire that rocketed through the air toward the Marine vessel, was met by the Marine vessel's own cannonfire. Naturally, it was impossible to aim cannonball for cannonball, nor could the single Marine vessel meet the numbers fired at it. However, that was not needed. Due to the sheer number of the cannonballs that were fired from both sides, some were sure to hit each other and explode, causing the rest of the cannonballs to be knocked off course. The waters surrounding the Marine vessel were bombarded by cannonballs and explosions, causing the water to rough up and knock the Marine vessel around violently. Water was knocked into the air by the explosions, and came back down in the form of a few seconds worth of rain. But the Marine vessel was fine for now.

Hotarubi:
Leo creates many small, green-colored fireballs that can float around the area. This is usually used in preparation for another attack. Unranked - supplementary move.

Hidaruma:

Leo can surround a target with the many small, green-colored fireballs created by Hotarubi. Then, Leo can detonate the fireballs, engulfing the target in flames. Rank C.

War of Treason | The Three Fronts - #3

Three fronts. Marine ship under attack. Dagama in peril in the battlefield. The Providence base under attack. In what was a daunting foe, the RA called an audible. Captain Hammond had issued a warning to the interloper; enemy of the state. But before more, arrows blotted out the sun.

The vice-Admiral stayed cool and collected. Orbs deflected the arrows towards him - the rest begone. A statement from the Marine. many soldiers fell to the arrows, some able to get to shelter, others using shields. The casualties, however, mounted.

Hammond looked around, her face white. She would be deep in though, before an explosion rocked the base itself. Bombs descended upon the Command Center. Screams echoed. The command center began to crumble. Airships flew overhead, having been shielded by the arrows. They were getting ready for a second bombing run, this one targeting the soldiers, and Vice-Admiral Leo.

[Hammond] “Lower your weapons! He is not our enemy today!”
[Soldier] “B-b-it Captain! Our King has said th-”
[Hammond] “Take a look around! Don’t let your duty blind your humanity!”

The Captain shouted with passion. Sure enough, the wounded and dead piled up. With a foe as daunting as vice-Admiral Leo, there was no choice. Captain Hammond instructed half of the forces to secure the Command Center and aid the wounded, to save time from the collapsing command center, and the other half to the battlefield. She quickly turned to Vice-Admiral Leo.

[Hammond] “The bombing run comes next! A leader of the RA forces: Dollet, is hiding in their command center. Do as you will! But do not expect an olive branch in return!”
[Hammond] “Alpha Squad! On me!”
Captain Hammond and her squad went past the gate towards the battlefield. The second bombing run was imminent, but they had Dagama in danger. In the distance, Commander Dagama was being taken away, towards the RA base.

The Marine ship returned fire. Capable men staved off being sunk. Yet with incessant cannon fire, how long would they survive?

The rain of arrows descended onto the Prodence Kingdom camp, slaying many. More and more casualties piled up, and Marine Vice Admiral Leo's bluff stood strong. Before long, the pale-faced Captain Hammond of the Prodence Kingdom realized Leo could not be their enemy on this day. She had to hope he wasn't, after all. Orders were given by Captain Hammond to her subordinates, while information was given to Leo - the leader of the Revolutionaries in this battle was a man named Dollet, hiding in the Revolutionaries' command center.

With that, Leo's course of actions became clear. He would go onto the offensive. The reason was two-fold. Firstly, taking down the enemy leader in this battle would allow them to win. Secondly, by going onto the offensive instead of protecting the Prodece Kingdom camp, there would be more casualties within the Kingdom, lessening its power, and giving Leo more leverage at the end of all of this. An approach that was in line with a man who adhered to Absolute Justice. Some casualties - specifically since no civilians were involved - would be tolerated, if it improved Leo's strategic chances post-battle.

Good luck with your men. I will bring down Dollet.

Leo said. As the bombing of the Prodence Kingdom camp at the hands of the Revolutionaries started, Leo started to walk. He'd walk the battlefield, straight toward the Revolutionaries' camp. Whenever attacked, he'd quickly dispose of the attacker using combinations of Shigan, Rankyaku and Tekkai.

Once at the center of the battlefield, and once he was confronted by a large enough army of Revolutionaries, Leo would stop. Glaring at them, he would abruptly unleash a burst of Hao-shoku no Haki, knocking as many of the Revolutionaries unconscious as possible. If the ones dragging Commander Dagama away were weak enough to be knocked out by the burst of Hao-shoku no Haki, then that would perhaps help the Prodence Kingdom soldiers retrieve their Commander. Regardless, from there, Leo would transform his legs into fire and fly toward the Revolutionaries' camp. It was time to capture some criminals.

War of Treason | The Three Fronts - #4

Three fronts. With Hammond sanctioning Vice-Admiral Leo’s rampage, a counter-attack began. In the battlefield, Captain Hammond and her forces pushed forward. Back at the Marine ship, their fates kept dwindling under the incessant fire. Back at the Providence camp, bombings continued.

While countermeasures shot down some of the fighter pilots, they were much too fast. The Command Center in the Providence Kingdom finally fell. The rest was mayhem to survive the attack, trying to shoot the pilots down. Lao had left the soldiers to their deaths, and such piled on.

A dozen or so soldiers fell to Leo as he walked in the battlefield. Reports came back to the Command Center of the enemy who was too strong for the troops. Yet they had numbers. Dozens and dozens surrounded Leo, weapons at the ready. Suddenly, the man’s very will burst forth.

[Soldier] “I-I-Impossible! What happened?! They just suddenly fell! W-W-What are you?!”

One soldier shouted. He was just out of the range, but witnessed his men fall. In a frenzied panic of fear, his rifle fell. The man fell on his knees, before closing his eyes, feigning defeat in hopes of saving himself. A truly dishonorable action from those who call themselves soldiers. Captain Hammond, now on her knees because of the blast, looked upon Leo with awe. Who was this man?

Those carrying Dagama entered the base. The gate closed with a large thump. Vice-Admiral Leo had flew just behind. The gate was engorged in heat before it blew wide open at the vice-admiral’s power.

As soon as Leo stepped forth, three soldiers jumped from above and aimed to slash the man with downward swings of their swords. Bullets from all corners of the base sought Leo, and a cannonball approached him as the last formation.

Dagama was taken to the Command Center as Leo was attacked. And from the balcony of the Command Center, a man looked down upon the smoke arisen from the cannonball: Dollet. A man wearing clothing of those in command, lying in wait.

A powerful burst of Hao-shoku no Haki established Marine Vice Admiral Leo as the ''King'' of the battlefield. Opposition fell to their knees and gave up, and even Hammond looked on in awe. Leo took off, his lower body transformed into fire and propelling him in flight like a rocket. Dagama of Prodence Kingdom was carried toward the camp of the Revolutionary Army, carried past the gate and it closing behind them. However, just as the gate closed, a loud bang was heard. Having propelled himself in flight, Leo spun around and kicked forward with his leg, it materializing from within the fire. As his foot impacted the door, he unleashed a powerful amount of fire in the form of a Devil's Head.

Fire Kick...!

The concussive force of the kick and the fire sent the gate crashing to the ground. As soon as Leo landed in the Revolutionary Army's base, he was surrounded from all sides. Swords, bullets and even a cannonball converged on him from every direction. Leo closed his eyes and then opened them in a burst.

Fire Blast!

A powerful burst of fire and heat energy erupted from his body. Due to the explosive blast, it carried concussive force, blowing away the attackers, as well as setting off the cannonball. If any of the smaller projectiles, that is, the bullets, made it through the blast, they would simply pass through Leo's intangible body. With the wave of fire scattering throughout the Revolutionary Army camp, Leo stood in the middle of the charred area, looking up at the balcony where Dollet was.

I see. You must be him. I've seen you on a bounty poster before.

Get down here unless you want me to come up there.

Vice Admiral Leo said, wisps of violent fire lingering on various parts of his body, including his arms, shoulders and back. His eye-patch suddenly lit ablaze as well, signaling that he was ready to fight.

  • Fire Blast:

Leo makes fire erupt from his body in all directions. Due to the blast behind the fire explosion, the fire carries concussive force, allowing Leo to blow his surroundings away from himself. Rank B.

  • Fire Kick:

A kicking version of Hiken, instead of punching and unleashing a giant fire fist, Leo kicks and unleashes a giant blast of fire that usually takes the form of a fire devil, engulfing the target. Rank B.

War of Treason | The Three Fronts - #5

A grand entrance. Vice-Admiral Leo blew the gate away. Attacks came next, but in a fury, almost literally, fire exploded from the marine’s body. Vice-Admiral Leo stood in a small crater, with all the fallen soldiers at it’s edge, singed. The few bullets that slipped, passed through the monster.

[Dollet] “Captain Dollet, pleased to make your acquaintance, logia user. You have my attention.”

Dollet spoke from the balcony, vaulting off it and landing around 30 meters from Vice-Admiral Leo, in front of the Command Center. The door that led to it had long since closed, and the kidnapped Dagama in tow. Dollet turned to Vice-Admiral Leo and drew his blades. Two-blade style, these swords connected to each other through a chain by the hilt.

[Dollet] “Your hour of arrival is much too late. The war is won even though we fall here. Your corruption shall never prevail in the face of free men.”
[Dollet] “Prepare yourself!”
Dollet began moving side-to-side. Similar to Stealth Foot, after-images appeared, appearing as is many Dollet’s readied for battle.

Back at the Providence Base, with the battleground won by Leo’s blast of will, Hammond and her troops rallied back to their base. They had rescued the remaining, and brought down the sky attackers. Their base was left destroyed, yet they purged on.

Back in the sea, the cannon fire had not ceased on the warship. Slowly but surely, the warship began to be irreparably damaged, soon to begin sinking.

Marine Vice Admiral Leo entered the Revolutionaries' base, busting through their front door in the literal sense of the word. He was met with swords, cannonballs and bullets, using a ferocious blast of fire to deal with the former two, while letting the latter pass through him without harm. After the raging fire settled, Leo stood at the crater, looking up at the command center, and Dollet. Dollect told him that they had already won the war, and then told him to prepare himself. With his usual intimidating glare, Leo retorted.

Either way I'll make sure you won't be there to celebrate.

Leo said. The wisps of fire that flickered on his arms, shoulders and back suddenly raged just a little bit as Dollet began to move, creating multiple after-images. From Leo's feet, two lines of fire spawned, travelling past Dollect's right and left and curving behind him. The fire joined up, forming a circle. The fire suddenly rose into a wall of fire, imprisoning Dollet inside the inferno together with Leo. Leo disappeared into the fire, his body turning into it as well, and merging. He was now the wall of fire, and he could attack from anywhere. From the wall of fire behind Dollet, two lances made out of fire were thrown at Dollet's back.

Shinka Shiranui...!

The lances of fire could pierce and burn at the same time, and had invisible Busou-shoku no Haki coursing through them, powering them up even further.

  • Shinka Shiranui:
Leo creates lances made of fire and hurls them at a target. These lances can pierce and burn simultaneously. Rank A.

In the meantime, the bombardment started to overwhelm the Marine vessel. Before long, it would be no more. But they all adhered to Absolute Justice, and so none called for Leo's help. After all, he had bigger fish to fry in the name of justice.

A grand response. The vice-Admiral and the RA Captain readied for battle. Dollet became many, but Leo formed a wall of fire, negating escape. The man would circle the Captain in a ring of fire and become it.

Dollet’s after-images moved towards the nearest flames, blade drawn. Yet Leo had an answer: an attack came from the fire, closing in on the after-images. one of the lances hit an after-images, disappearing in the wall of fire. The next hit Dollet in his lower abdomen, passing through to the other side to the wall of fire, piercing and cauterizing the wound all at once.

The Captain did not even slow down, like a demon on a mission, he careened past the wall of flames, sword-ready, and slew his swords downwards.

[Dollet] “YOU ONLY MADE IT EASIER TO HIT YOU!”

Blades humming with black haki, coarser with will and tinted dark, the Captain slashed downward with the aid of momentum, bearing the blades at the wall of fire; Leo’s body. The slash had such power and wind gale, it would normally split and sever fire of that length and size.

[Dollet] “Nittoryu: Otoro!”

(Not as epic)

Dollet’s after-images converged into him once he finished, blood trickling done the side of his mouth. He sought to take advantage of Leo’s overconfidence and clear power advantage.

The Marine ship began to sunk, with some Marines trying to row to shore, others falling at the cannon fire. Inside the Command Center of the RA, Dagama had been lost to the senses, taken underground and far away from the battlefield.

Otoro (literally meaning "Reply Climbing a Tower"):
Two air-based projectile slashes are sent downwards while falling as Zoro swings his swords downwards, with the gravity complimenting the force of the attack.(51 Mastery, 41 Strength)
Destructive Potency Rank: B

The raging wall of fire imprisoned the Revolutionary, preventing an escape no matter how many mirages were utilized. Interestingly enough, the Revolutionary did not intend to run. Instead, he clad himself with resolve and went onto the offensive. He charged toward the wall of fire, knowing that Leo was inside it, and Dollet's Kenbun-shoku no Haki allowed him to assess which part of the wall of fire was Leo's actual body. Two lances of fire had been hurled toward the charging Dollet, one dispersing a mirage while the other hit. However, Dollet pressed on, showing great courage.

Unfortunately for Dollet, courage was not something that would help him win. Not against this Marine Vice Admiral. When the sword(s) came for the fire in the form of a powerful swing, and when they were just about to hit the fire at the height of their momentum, Leo's right hand materialized from the fire. Tekkai hardened his hand and black Busou-shoku no Haki clad it.

Dollet: 61 strength + 2 from B-rank technique + 2 from black Busou-shoku no Haki = City Level
vs.
Leo: 81 durability + 2 from Tekkai + 2 from black Busou-shoku no Haki = Small Country Level

Dollet's DPR is 3 ranks lower than Leo's durability -> DPR 2 or more below dura: Not very effective

Leo caught Dollet's sword with his bare hand, and nothing but a small cut appeared. As Leo materialized and stepped out of the wall of fire, glaring at Dollet, the entire wall of fire suddenly started to spin like a hellish, fiery inferno in the form of a vortex. The vortex of fire was large and intense, and Dollet was caught inside it.

However, Marine Vice Admiral Leo was relentless. Despite the fact that Dollet faced a sea of flames burning from every direction, Leo attacked as well. While his right hand was holding onto Dollet's sword, Leo's left hand, burning with fire, came forward in the form of a five-fingered, burning Shigan. Invisible Busou-shoku no Haki clad the fiery fingers, aiming to slam into Dollet's stomach and char it with hellish heat.

  • Fire Vortex:

Leo spawns a massive, spinning vortex of fire around himself, burning anyone and anything that comes near him. This can be used as a defensive technique in some cases. Alternatively, he can take control of fire in the area and form a vortex of fire around the target, instead of spawning it around himself. Rank B.

  • Fire Claw:

Leo transforms his hand into fire before using any variant of Shigan. This allows his Shigan to burn the insides of whatever the fingers stab, as well as unleash a blast of fire that blows the target away after the Shigan connects. Rank S.

War of Treason | The Three Fronts - #7

The Captain purged on. With the will of a free man, Captain Dollett attacked Leo. Two blades aimed his real body amidst the flames. However, Vice-Admiral Leo and his Absolute Justice had other plans. A hand caught the blade, it stopping ”cold”.

Flames overtook the two and, from it’s entrails, the body of the Caotain flew out. His body twirled incessantly, slamming against the Command Center with such force Dollet’s body broke through the wall. Captain Dollet ended up against the inside of the Command Center, against the opposite wall, body charred and eyes white. Defeated.

The cannonfire had ceased. The sounds of guns and swords clanging on the floor echoed all around Leo. The remaining RA soldiers stood down. Seeing Dollet defeated with such conviction, and the main battlefield lost, they surrendered.

[Hammond] “Take them as prisoners! Recover all the weaponry and take it to the palace with the King at once! I declare this a victory in the name of Prodence!”

Provence soldiers appeared from the gate, and Captain Hammond declared victory. The question was really, was it a victory? Commander Dagama had been kidnapped, and Prodence had lost just as many soldiers, and even more in infrastructure. They needed aid to win.

[Hammond] “You kept your word, Marine. But I meant it. Do not expect an olive branch.”

[Hammond] “What are you really doing here....?”
Captain Hammond asked a veritable question with much distrust. No doubt they gathered the weapons to take it to the palace, where one would presume the King awaited. But where was the rest of the Revolution? Why was it needed to stockpile the palace? Was there another front?

The fiery inferno converged onto Leo and Dollet, and from it, Dollet came crashing into a wall, a clawed burnt mark on his abdomen from Leo's attack. His body charred, Dollet was still alive, but undoubtedly defeated. Seeing the convincing defeat of their superior, the rest of the Revolutionaries around surrendered as well, which quickly led to a victory being announced by the Prodence Kingdom. However, something felt off to Leo. He had dealt with Revolutionaries before, and this Dollet guy was not strong enough to lead so many Revolutionaries into battle. There had to be someone else. Something else. Hammond of Prodence Kingdom approached Leo, acknowledging his help, but insisting that they would not extend an olive branch in return, for they were not allies of the World Government, nor was the World Government their Boss. Leo turned toward Hammond. The small surrounding fires that had yet to die out flickered in his eyes as he spoke.

I will tell what I am here for... to the King. Not to a servant.

Leo said abruptly and straight-forwardly. Perhaps Hammond thought she was something on the battlefield, but Leo did not view her in such manner. She was nothing but a servant serving a King, and he did not need to discuss his p´lans with her.

Show me to the King. Or I'll find him myself. A castle shouldn't be difficult to find.

Leo said. It was time to pay a visit to King Elizabello ll.

War of Treason | The War Inside - #8

With the Revolution defeated and Provence Kingdom not to fat behind, the transport began. Weapons amassed from the battleground were hauled with quick towards the horizon. Prodence had lost their commander, but so did the Revolution.

Vice-Admiral Leo once again spoke down to Captain Hammond. The woman only smirked, calling a ship for them.

[Hammond] “Should take us six hours by air. King Elizabello would want to meet you. I would be careful to burn the bridges before you cross them. Just a piece of advice from a lowly soldier.”

Captain Hamons trailed off. Was she being sarcastic? Was she being truthful? It would seem they needed Leo, or at least they did in the coastal battle. A small airship descended, bearing the Provence mark. A fighter pilot, it sat five. Leo was invited in, and should he acquiesce, off they would go,

[Hammond] “Losing Commander Dagama is much a loss. If they can extract our military secrets from him, not even you could turn the tide.”

[Hammond] “We have to hold. Our moment of victory is not too late. The palace is at a standstill. A single shot will break the ceasefire. Our people’s lives depend on it.”

Captain Hammond chatted with Vice-Admiral Leo, giving him a unique view into the war and politics of the country. She was a woman of her word. No olive branch extended, but when her people’s lives were at stake, she would be open. If Leo asked about the King, Hammond would reply.

[Hammond] “The King’s distrust of the Government comes two decades in the making. Twenty-six years ago, he placed his faith on a pirate, a Shichibukai. Promises of aid against the Government. an unspoken contract.”
[Hammond] “Betrayed. If it was not for King Riku Doldo III, he would have lost the kingdom. Yet the blow came most grievous. That day King Elizabello was robbed of something more precious than his kingdom; his only daughter.
[Hammond] “At that moment, all who had allegiance with the Govermney, were no better than traitors to toss aside.”
[Hammond] “That betrayal... In your ivory tower... you would not understand.”

Captain Hammond‘s voice began to break, as if she shared King Elizabello’s pain. Perhaps now Leo Would understand their resistance to the government. Perhaps he could understand more than Captain Hammond assumed, what betrayal was.

Several hours passed. The airship flew over the palace. Beautiful in architecture, beset by thousands of soldiers. In front of the main gate stood a line of civilians stretching for miles. The barrier. To each side was the Revolution Army and the Provence Army. A ceasefire. The citizens, innocents, had staged a protest, stopping the battle with their very lives,

The airship flew over the armies, lowering on the first tower. The main hall was at the back. The airship descended, greeted by dozens of Provence soldiers. Captain Hammond went first, instructing the welcome party.

[Hammond] “I request an audience with the King. The coast is ours. As for this man... he is my responsibility.”
The welcome party was hesitant. Even Captain Hammond’s vote of confidence only went so far. King Elixabello’s district of the WG seeped into the very fabric of this society. It was Leo’s turn to speak, with words that could end or make his entry to the palace.

Captain Hammond agreed to take Marine Vice Admiral Leo to see King Elizabello ll. Leo followed her and an airship was called for them. They boarded the airship and took off. Inside the airship, Leo sat cross-armed, his eyes closed, having taken off his Marine coat and left it on the seat next to him. He was not one to engage in pointless conversation. However, Hammond did not bring up anything pointless. Instead, she spoke about something quite significant. Prodence Kingdom's past. And how its fate had been placed in the hands of a pirate - a Shichibukai. Leo opened his eyes, speaking.

One should never trust a pirate.

Leo interjected. Hammond would probably wonder if Leo was not listening correctly. It wasn't just a pirate. It was a Shichibukai - part of the World Government. However, Leo would continue, and it would soon become clear that he had indeed been listening carefully, and he still stood by his point.

My mentor was killed by a Shichibukai.

Leo said, pausing for a moment. His eyes were glaring at Hammond, and with a highly serious tone, he said one final thing.

As soon as I become an Admiral... I WILL ABOLISH THE SHICHIBUKAI SYSTEM.

Leo said with a booming voice, his arms still crossed in front of his chest. From then on, the rest of the flight there would be silence. Hammond would have been able to feel that she had struck a note for Leo, and how serious he was in his quest for justice. For the rest of the flight, Leo stared out through the window, into the distance, spacing out. He was in deep thought of the memories that Hammond had awakened. Hammond would be able to tell, that Leo's mood right now was more mellow and emotional, than his usual serious demeanor.

Before long, the castle would come into view, and Leo was snapped out of his state. He saw the Prodence Kingdom and the Revolutionary Army in a massive standoff, with civilians forming a barrier inbetween - having formed a line inbetween the two factions in protest of the fighting. Leo's duty was to protect civilians, first and foremost, and as such, he quickly got ready. He stood up from his seat and flung his Marine coat over his shoulders once again, ready to disembark. As soon as the airship landed, Leo moved out, Hammond right behind him. A number of Prodence Kingdom soldiers awaited, blocking Leo's way. Despite the fact that Hammond vouched for him, the Prodence Kingdom soldiers were hesitant. Leo turned toward Hammond, addressing her instead of the soldiers.

You know what I am here for.

Leo said. A short sentence, but it was well-placed. After all, the last words Leo had spoken to Hammond prior to now, were back on the airship. I will abolish the Shichibukai system. Those words would be etched into Hammond's mind still. She better got her soldiers out of the way, or Leo would have to do it himself. Hammond could feel that fact from Leo's demeanor.
