Singing Waters
The Singing Waters are an area of violent waters in the East Blue. Many a sailor fears these waters and does their best to avoid them. They are known for strong currents, whirlpools, high waves. And yet, that is not what people fear. The Singing Waters are a section that seems to be home to a number of Sirens. The Sirens sink ships and lure sailors to jump into the water. Not many have sailed through these waters and made it out alive.

Mars was stuck on some mission to somewhere called the Singing Waters. She was grateful to be on assignment but felt like she was being underestimated. She believed herself to be stronger than any of the other ensigns here. Maybe even stronger than the Lt. Commander herself. Still, she would not raise her voice, make a fuss, or start any commotions over it. She knew well that to get to the top one must start at the bottom. There would be no shortcuts. She made her way past a few of the other ensigns and ended up walking past Lt. Commander Fubuki too. Glancing at her for a brief moment as she passed. Trying to get a feel for how strong she was.

Perhaps a bad habit of hers, she would walk past Fubuki in a dignified manner. Those with the wrong impression could view it as her looking down on them. After walking past Fubuki she would take a seat and await further instruction. She had no interest in socializing with her fellow ensign. The odds of any of them being worth having as a friend seemed nonexistent to her.

As one of the sailors was attending to the ship, Fubuki recalled the assignment given to her by the G-3 office, an HQ located in the Paradise. There had been reports of missing vessels, sailors, and even pirates that attempted to traverse the seas through the Singing Waters. According to the reports, a certain island nearby heard rumors of Sirens sinking them, luring them into their traps and only to be eradicated.

"Lt. Commander Fubuki!", said a certain marine officer behind a silhouette. "I will be tasking you to look into this matter. Most of the people we sent there were males and never it back. If the rumors are true, then I wouldn't risk involving yet another set of foolish men to sail that waters. We need people who have the capabilities to withstand this obstacle and above all, fearless, emotionless, and strong women. That being said, you will have 4 lady marines with you. Rem, one of the top cadets in her batch and two others who will man the sails and helm. The other person who will accompany you is the top cadet of her batch, Mars, still an Ensign but I see a lot of potentials. She will be truly helpful, and with her cold demeanor, I am pretty sure that none of those sirens will be able to set you into a trap. Now go!"

"Sir yes Sir!", she responded with firmness and compassion.

As she looked back into the order, Mars, the Ensign her C.O. was speaking about was slowly approaching her. Stiff, cold, and condescending. It was ice attempting to intrude yet another winter in disguise. Fubuki would stare, raising her left eyebrow and when Mars finally approached her side, she would only slide her vision. She wouldn't tilt her head. "Mars!", she summoned her.

"The C.O. speaks highly of you. Don't disappoint."

Mars was on her way to relax in the shade. Having just passed Fubuki. That was when she heard her name. The only one who knew her name on this ship would be the one in charge. She turned to face Fubuki. Hearing what she had to say. Fubuki told her something that caused a small grin to appear on her face for the briefest of moments. The person in charge of Fubuki spoke highly of her? Good. She was well on her way to climbing the ranks if she was already being noticed by the higher-ups. However, her second comment annoyed her. 'Don't disappoint'? It took all she had not to scoff.

"Try and keep up, 'boss'.

With that said, she continued walking. Finding her spot in the shade and taking a seat. Shortly after sitting down, she was approached. By a
woman about her age, with long white hair braided into a ponytail. She looked up. Grateful for the additional shade, but annoyed by the interruption.

"What is it?"

"It was rather brave of you to say what you did to the Lt. Commander. I'm Amelia by the way."

Brave? She didn't see it that way at first, but realized having the strength and confidence to speak your mind could come off as bravery to those without such qualities.

"Sure you wanna be seen talking to me? If the Lt. Commander gets upset she could punish you for associating with me."

The girl who introduced herself as Amelia shook her head.

"I'll be fine. One way or another. What's your name?"

"Mars."

"Nice to meet you Mars."

The two of them would continue conversing until arriving at the Singing Waters, or until they were interrupted. Suprisingly, Mars was having a good time talking with someone else for the first time in her 23 years of being alive.

"Double Trouble for Mars & Fubuki"

"🎵🎵🎵🎵 KWE KWE NATURA U WHEEL UNDERSTAND LISTEN WITH YER HEART 🎵🎵🎵🎵"

A soft and beautiful music can be heard echoing throughout these waters, which is where it got the name "Singing Waters". The marine ship that was at this moment travelling through these waters, would start to hear the beautiful tune. It always starts the same, a whispers is all somebody can hear, but get louder as they approach the centre of Singing Waters. Originated from the centre, the melody has a certain attraction to any man passing by.

As they continued their journey, unbeknownst to the the marines, they had an unexpected guest from below watching them. Being a beautiful and sunny day, the large ship had been apparently blocking the sunlight from coming into the sea. It wasn't considering that this was a siren's territory. By nature, sirens aren't the meanest creatures, but they are quite temper mental. At the moment only one siren seemed to actively pursue the ship. The others were nearby singing their tune.

"Seeeems that humans wiiiiiiiiiil neeeeeeeeveeeeeeer learn... They are truly an irritating bunch!"

As she talked too herself, the siren named Elia, kept on lurking waiting for the right moment to attack. She knew that pretty soon the music would be strong for the men to resist.

Mars, an Ensign would attempt to get into the nerves of our Lt. Commander, she would only ignore her. She always believed that she was far more superior in terms of beauty, strength, fashion set, and above all, fandom. A mere ensign was not supposed to humiliate her. She would let it pass. And with a bitchy look on her face, Fubuki overheard the conversation between the other ensigns.

A few seconds later, she started to hear something. What was that? Someone is singing? Where?

And as she tried to track where the serenade was coming from, she continued to listen. It was soothing and calm like the meddling of the waves to shore; like the wind flirting to the rustling of the leaves. "Everyone! Quiet! And pay attention to the sound that resonates from somewhere."

She would pause for a brief moment as her crew attended to the sound, "And if the rumors were true, we may be under attack. Prepare for an upcoming danger ladies!", she addressed the three ladies aboard.

During Mars' conversation with Amelia, she was pleasantly surprised when Fubuki did not retort. She fully expected a petty bitchy sort of response. However, though her conversation with Amelia was not interrupted by Fubuki, it was in fact interrupted by singing. It was the song that had lured many foolish men to their death. Despite many of these perished men being comrades, a smirk appeared on Mars' face.

"Actually, aren't these lot doing us a favor? Ah well, orders are orders I 'spose."

Amelia laughed. Thinking Mars to be joking. The two then prepared themselves for battle. Amelia gripping her blades, while Mars adjusting her glove. Mars had a secondary goal. To ensure Amelia survived. Even if it meant sacrificing the others on board to do so. Still, it probably wouldn't come to that. Mars was confident in her abilities.

"Double Trouble for Mars & Fubuki"

Elia had a huge grin on her face as she kept on watching the marine ship passing right near her. She knew by now that the beautiful melody had surely affected most of the men. The sound would drive most of them mad. Pushing some to jump over ship, however, the fun was just about to start.

"Noooooooooooow seeeems tiiiiiiiiime!"

While the others would continue with their tune, Elia swam closer to the ship. Moving fast, the siren would circle around the ship. She kept on doing that, and while doing so, she would approach close the surface while still staying underwater. The goal wasn't to be discreet, but rather to be seen. They had in the pass, sailors who were had a strong will to fight the siren's melody. One of them would attract the attention of the survivors to have them look out the sea. So while Elia was busy attracting the attention, the other sirens, who had the faces out of the waters would be there to see how many had survived. Sirens preferred to fight in groups, they are after all called "Sirens".

As sailors jumped overboard, Elia, started to attack all those dropping near her, as she kept on moving around. Pretty soon, Mars and Fubuki would be able to see that something is moving around them. To make matters worst, if they closely they would be able to see into the clear water. It wouldn't be clear who's there or what is exactly happening, but they could see the gruesome murder of some of their fellow marine officers.

Addressing her crew, Fubuki evaluated the capabilities of the three ladies aboard. She knew Rem since her Sophomore year. As the senpai, Fubuki is aware that the other is capable but she had the tendencies to babysit her comrade. She turned to the other one. A fine lady with braided golden hair. She was fairly beautiful but had an attitude. Let's see what this ensign is capable of.

And she processed the thought, she ordered. "Mars! Go scout underwater. If you find the enemy. Engage. The other two will remain on board. Back her up.! Now go!"

Hearing some more violent splashes of waters at the Starboard, Fubuki quickly shifted her sight. Looking down, a crimson sea creature yet resembled a maiden unraveled before her eyes. "?!"

What is this? A siren? So it's true!

Fubuki had just suggested something outrageous. At least to Mars. She wanted her to dive into the water. She laughed in a mocking manner.

"Your sense for strategy is as bad as your sense of style! Engaging them in the water is a fool's game."

Rather, Mars would instead use Geppou to get a clear view of the surrounding waters. Firing Rankyaku's at any shadows she spots that are to big for standard fish. It was likely that she would end up attacking a few bigger fish on accident, but she felt this to be a far better plan than to dive in and get ambushed by several Sirens who made the sea their home.

As for Amelia, she would stick close to Mars and help her spot any potential Sirens. Doing her best to through in her own generic flying slashes as she did. If it came to it, she could also rely on Geppou, but she preferred her feet on the ground when possible. This is why she refrained from joining Mars from her vantage point.

"Double Trouble for Mars & Fubuki"

Glaring at the surface, Elia would see something entering the water, several things to be exact. As the first air-slash hit the waters, the siren was already prepared and swiftly avoided it. Moving around to avoid the rest of them, a low pitch soundwave would be heard. It was a signal from the other sirens. It meant that they were woman aboard the ship.

"Puuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrfect"

In a zig zag pattern, Elia started to swim faster around the ship. While she was doing that, the other three sirens split up. Each taking a different side, two of them released a low pitch sound. Contrary to their siren song, this one seemed to be amplified. The sound would cause some confusion and disorientation. The third one would join Elia, and together they would swim fast in their unusual pattern. If anybody would looked at the sea, they could feel dizzy from just watching.
This movement, with the high pitch song from the others, was to cause great discomfort to those still on the ship.

Mars didn't follow the Lieutenant's order. Instead, she pushed her feet against the air using Geppo and was ready to launch an attack.

"Insubordinate", Fubuki whispered. "Let her do as she wished. Huh?!"

The Lt. Commander heard something from deep within. Immediately, it invoked a melody that gave her an unpleasant feeling. What is this feeling?, she thought and then turned to Rem. "Rem are you-"

Rem was holding her head, displaying that she didn't welcome what she was hearing at that time.

"Tch! So it began."

East Blue: Singing Waters
Come, Stay, Listen to the Sirens’ Call - #1

@Mr. Anderson

Singing Waters
The ocean was vast, deep, and considerable. The East Blue was such an ocean. Known to be the weakest of all blues, it was a calm sea. One trench was not so. In the south of East Blue were waters known for sailors and ships to be lost. A destination for many, for the waters were as beautiful and pristine as all in the Blue. A trench with its own sweet melody, fittingly called “Singing Waters”.

It was no different on this sweet gentle day. The sun was high, the clouds light, and the ocean calm. The pristine waters shook lightly as those who inhabited swam. In the middle of the trench, straddled on a rock, was a figure. A figure whom was too far to make out. A figure with long beautiful hair.

A beautiful melody accompanied the beautiful waters, bouncing off the cave system at the far side of the trench, mixing with the wind to create an orchestra like no other. An orchestra that would make any man smile. One drawn with sweet, gentle, welcoming music. The reality was much darker. Skulls hung at the bottom of the rock, covered by the being singing with beauty.

Welcome to the Singing Waters.

East Blue: Singing Waters #1
@Ichimonji

It had been roughly a week since Opal and Katsumi left Baltigo with direct orders from Dragon himself. The East Blue was well known for being the weakest of all blues, and it was here that would mark the start of the many crazy adventures of these two revolutionaries. The Revolutionary Army were given information on the whereabouts of an alleged base belonging to the. Katsumi and Opal's job was to confirm the information and destroy the CP Agents stationed there. A mission like this seemed suicidal on paper, especially for only two people. However, despite to Opal's protests, Katsumi had accepted immediately. For the most part, the journey had been calm up to this point. However Opal couldn't help but feel puzzled as she found herself sailing into a trench. It had been a few hours since then and there seemed to be no exit in sight.

"Sail in, he says. Maybe it's a short cut, he says. I should have known better than to listen to that idiot Katsumi. I should have turned the ship around ages ago." Opal grumbled, clearly annoyed by the situation. However that annoyance would slowly fade as one of the most beautiful melodies she had ever heard caught her ears.

Curiosity took ahold of her as she sailed towards the source, while Katsumi lay in his quarters, fast asleep and oblivious to what was happening it on the outside. As Opal sailed through the trench, she notices a strange figure sitting on a rock in the center of the trench, it's hair long and beautiful and it blew in the wind. It was here the melody was at it's strongest

"Hello! Whoever you are! I'm sorry to disturb you, but can you please direct me the the exit of this place? I've been stuck in this place for 2 hours now, and I really need to get going!"

Stay, Listen to the Sirens’ Call - #2
@Mr. Anderson

Singing Waters Trench
The siren’s song was inviting, warm, and sweet. The trench was large, enough for two ships to sail between the rocky edges, the water vibrant and the colors bright. Yet, there was no end, almost as if one sailed the same trench, the same waters, over the same song. The Siren’s song.

The Revolutionary Army sailed, until they came to the Siren’s den. Straddles upon a rock, a beautiful woman, more aesthetic than women on land, belted out words of beauty, her long wavy hair flowing in the wind. The ship got close enough for the woman peered out, addressing the woman.

The Siren responded in song, in a rhyme.

[Peisinoe] “Keep still, wo-man. The waters will guide you in the span. All it needs is a man.”

The siren looked innocent, declaring the waters would part for a man. The sirens need not a woman. The siren kept singing. Perhaps it was a coincidence, but the waters became more rowdy with each verse. The Sun, however, was as clear as ever.

The Siren seemed to know how to escape the trench with a man. How would the Revolution respond?
