Island Skypiea

Located 10,000 meters above the sea is this gargantuan structure of islands that by all known laws of aviation, should be able to exist. Yet here it is, the sky island known as Skypiea. 400 years ago parts of the island of Jaya was shot up in the sky by a massive knock up stream, where it stayed forever thereafter. Jaya's inhabitants, the Shandians were chased out by the Skypieans and now live on the outskirts of Skypiea, fighting to get back even to this day. However, only a few years ago a new threat arrived in the form of Enel and his army of Birkans. Now, Skypieans live in fear of their new God, while Shandias still fight on to return to their homeland.

Kiki still stared at his Bounty Poster. 81 500 000 beli, most people would be ecstatic but all Kiki saw, was that that pip squick of a giant was worth more than 7 times what Kiki was worth. The giants of Elbaf must be having a real laugh comparing a real giant to a teeny weeny tiny giant and seeing Kiki's comparatively small Bounty. Kiki was fuming and quickly in succession was running through ideas of how to increase it quickly. "I can create poisons, kill everybody? No, That is cheating. I must be worth the bounty and not just tricking the system with blood. I must gain a lot of power, but is a Devil Fruit worth not being able to swim? I don't know, I don't even have a devil fruit to eat nor money to buy one. I'll decide once I get one but I must perfect my skills and quickly."

Kiki broke his daze and looked up, "we are not at the twin peaks anymore?" Kiki thought being very confused, he could not have been in a daze for that long,"I cannot even see the twin peaks on the horizon. Did we get a sudden gust of wind?" Kiki thought, pretended he knew how the ocean work like he wasn't just drifting around when he was on his own before this crew practically saved him by inviting him aboard when his ship started to sink. Luckily they had a ship large enough for kiki to sit and stand on, even place to keep all his supplies, unfortunately, no place to go beneath, not that the planks he was drifting on previously was any better.

"Where are we heading? Captain? Navigator bot?" Kiki asked when an answer didn't immediately come he thought "They seem busy, luckily I'm not in any hurry and can wait for a response, although they would probably just yell at me for being in a daze for so long."

"Wherever we are heading, we are likely heading for trouble, I mean 'Adventure'" Kiki thought. It doesn't matter, trouble is the adventure kiki was addicted too. "I'll start making my poison, I used the last of that before we arrived at the twin peaks, unfortunately rending that fish inedible." Kiki thought giggling at his stupid mistake. "Practice makes perfect, and the fish fiasco gave me new ideas of a pretty lethal poison." He thought as he started preparing his ingredients, "I have this pretty poisonous fish, Lepi gave me, a little bit of the fish from the fish fiasco" the poison he used wasn't particularly poisonous but the poison mixed with the fish meat created a fantastic new poison that kiki was just about drooling to try out "and I have some of Cpt's oil, which is definitely not made for eating."

"We will have to stop somewhere for ingredients later. I have enough ingredients for about two proper poisons but next time I would love to test a sprayable or gaseous poison if I had the equipment to spray or spread it. For the time being, I'll stick with liquid poison which can infiltrate through the skin upon contact." Kiki said to no one in particular but hinting at the old man about some gear he has been dreaming about for a while now, as he started mixing and matching his ingredients. "I have enough ingredients for two and space for two, its a good fit" Kiki worked tirelessly, already almost giggling at the idea of testing them out.

Shalki was far too busy handling his duties on ship to care much about what "the obstacle", as he saw Kiki, had to say. *The everything pirates were finally at the sea of Jaya right below Skypiea where the knock up stream was.

Shalki heard the rumbling of the sea. The sky was ominous as if a terrible force of nature was about to be unleashed. Shalki had known this feeling before. It still terrified him. He couldn't even fathom being able to control the weather to create something so powerful yet.

Someone just arrived at the Heaven's Gate. See that they do not become a thorn in my side. The day of ascension draws too close. Simply nodding, the four excused themselves and set out. From the shadow, another, larger figure emerged. What would you have us divine soldier do, your grace? The seated figure turned his head towards the other, then forwards again. Stay ready. A sick grin spread across the face of the God of Skypiea.

“Oi! Shalki-tan are you sure we are going the ri—“

And with that, they were off! A sudden burst of water is shot directly into the sky--taking the Free and Easy with it! Shalki and Professor Dondigo had spent some time adding modifications to the ship beforehand so that they could make the trip up.... or at least thats what they had assured their Captain they had done....

The giant pillar of ocean that they were now riding on toward the clouds, was unlike anything Jobymamushi had ever experienced! He was literally being shot up toward the Heavens! Maybe there will be some big ugly birds I can ride up there on this island in the sky! As they rose higher and higher, along this seemingly endless Tower of Babel, Jobymamushi was barely hanging on to the chimney on top of the small rounded treehouse that rested atop the center 'mast' of their ship. The speed at which they were traveling, dragging his body up behind the ship like a shitty kite.

He was about 40 meters behind the ship, he hoped everyone was alright. If anyone should fall off, he could catch them like this..... maybe. A small fish falls out of the sky above them and heads toward Joby's face!

He opens his mouth and swallows it whole.

Itadakimaaasu!

Then a giant fish the size of their ship comes hurtling at him!
--NANI!?!

Covering his leg in CoA hardening, he whips it out diagonally in front of him, catching the giant sea creature on its side!

"GOMU GOMU NO: WHIP!"

As the blow connects cleaning, the gigantic fish is shot to the side of the ship, at angle, down back into the boundless Blue Sea.

They are approaching the cloud line now... what awaits them on the other side....

Shalki-tan keeps rattling on about some asshole going around calling himself 'God'.... the gall of someone claiming to exercise the rights and privileges that belong only to the Way.... well, let's just say, Jobymamushi was really looking forward to shoving his fist down that shmuck's mouth.

In a patch of trees far away from other people of the Sky Islands, a small group of warriors were resting. They had a pair of little wings on their backs and had various weapons and dials on their person.

A tall man with various tribal tattoos stood up "Something is coming, I can feel it."

"What do you mean Wiper?"

Wiper takes a cigarillo out of his mouth "Im not sure, but i can feel something is about to happen and this could be our chance"

The group of people slowly moves toward him "Should we head back?" One of them asks him "If you think something is about to happen we should head back and maybe prepare"

He doesnt reply immediately, putting the cigarillo back in his mouth and puffing on it a few times Wiper thinks for a few moments. "The Ancestors would want us to head back yes but perhaps we could use this to our advantage right now instead" He turns to a scout "Head to your scouting spot and see what happens, report back if something does indeed happen that's out of the ordinary" The scout heads off and Wiper shoulders his large gun "Follow"

They head off, following Wiper the opposite way the scout went; deeper into the forest and closer to the forbidden land of Skypiea

The professor walks the perimeter of the Free and Easy while Gatsu sleeps, sitting at the back of the ship, just outside the cabin door. Casca is standing next to the pool admiring the large tree in the center of the ship.

When suddenly
Cpt. said:

"BRACE YOURSELVES WE ARE ABOUT TO GO UP!"

Oh my... Dondigo thought to himself as the ship lunged into the air, pushed up into the sky by a rising Piller of water with explosive force! He held fast to the railing by his side.

Wooaa?! Casca having nothing nearby to hold onto, proceeds to fall backwards towards the crew cabin, as the front of the ship is lifted into the air, and the rest of the ship follows.

Hmm?! Gatsu's eyes shot open just in time to see Casca about to pancake him. He reaches out and braces for impact, catching Casca with an Ooof! And an Aaagghhh! Respectively.

As the ship is now verticle, Gatsu moves Casca off of him and proceeds to stand up on top of the crew cabin wall and stare directly upwards at the sky and the Piller of water which brings them closer to it.

Oh dear... The professor hangs from the railing as a torrent of water and wind pushes the free and easy into the sky.

LOOK OUT!!! Shouts Casca, pointing up the stream at a giant fish, the size of the ship, about to collide with the Free And Easy!

Gatsu prepares himself, with his large blade at his side, to jump up and slice the beast in half before it can get to the ship. When out of the corner of his eye he sees a flash of white, and then the fish, sent flying to the side, narrowly avoiding the ship. Tch.. That monkey ain't half bad... Gatsu said, mostly to himself.

The top most layer of clouds was approaching fast, and with it comes untold dangers, treasures, and adventures, the likes of which were known only by the one among them who had been there before.

After a heavy night of celebratory drinking (despite me having a digestive tract) Xatch was out cold, unable too be woke up.. the phallus drawn on his forehead (with computer like precision..hmmm) proved this claim. The Free and Easy currently being launched high into the sky..
Despite all the commotion and turbulence, and the change from horizontal too vertical a single grave lay undisturbed.... Finally settling on a white sea, the crew all shaken up, and noticeably on edge starts too celebrate their accomplishments...

A skeletal hand reaches out of a grave, up climes the nearly 12ft skeleton, yawning and scratching the fur around his neck... Xatch ignores the crews commotion, he had a massive headache(despite having a brain), and walks to the edge of the deck (out of sight of the other [sans those with observation haki

] ) and starts too relive himself (despite having a peni...bladder) it was at this moment he realized he wasn't hearing the usually splashing sound hes used too, looking closely at his surroundings.... NANI?!?!?!?

Following a night of incredible celebration, debauchery and drinking, and a team effort to pull Lepi's head out of the barrel to further continue the aforementioned debauchery, the young fishman took a long nap. He wasn't used to drinking and was having the biggest hangover of his life. The first one.

Lepi was in such deep sleep that he didn't even feel a thing as the Free and Easy was launched into the sky by a huge tide. However, while the incredibly loud noises and thuds of the stream and the ship's belongings banging against walls didn't wake up Lepi... the calming sound of clouds seemed to awaken him.

GAH! WHO IS THERE! I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS!

The young fishman woke up from his room, which was situated at the bottom of the ship as a huge aquarium of a pool. Wondering why the glass around him which was there for him to spot underwater disturbances just showed a bright sky. That's when he realised his captain must have steered the ship towards their first destination! Following this, Lepi decided it was high time he swims back to the surface to meet the rest of the crew and stand in awe of the Sky Island.

And so he did, as he proppeled himself out of the water into the circle of friends with a perfect landing, putting his fists on his waist and having a huge confident smile as he saw the journey was a success indeed. That is when he decided to answer his friend's question, by reaching up to him and grabbing him from the neck to bring him down and point to the beautiful sight in front of them, giddy with excitement.

It's not the ocean anymore, corpse friend! We are swimming in the clouds of a Sky Island! I have been told stories of these islands ever since I was a child, but everyone in my district on Fishman Island always doubted they existed. I KNEW IT! IN YOUR FACE! Oh, um... sorry for your neck.

Lepi let go of Xatch as he leaned forward, sitting his arms on the side of the ship and witnessing the marvel of the Sky Island, many memories being brought to mind. However... to him, it wasn't a particularly very new sight, just an ideally different one. He soon made this vocal:

You know... a place in the sky where people live is no news to me. For the longest time I was living at a huge castle in the sky!

The young fishman recalled his terrible time at Mariejois but didn't exactly care to ponder the events of his past for long. He was too busy being consumed into the utter beauty of the Sky Island and... getting a bit too emotional. For his first journey was at a fairy tale of a place, somewhere he wanted to go ever since he was a child. He couldn't be sad... not in the least...

Lepi took a look around to see the faces of his comrades before his unending smile turned into a large grin accomodated by him closing his eyes and letting more tears come out upon opening them again, as he finally felt impossible joy he seeked for so, so long.

Mom... I made it. I'm here.

Kiki heard "BRACE YOURSELVES WE ARE ABOUT TO GO UP!" and before he had time to think about what was said, his heart almost popped out of his chest as the ship shot into the air.

It felt like the entire crew gave a sigh of relief when the ship landed safely on the clouds above( or maybe kiki was just so relieved that he thought he heard it). Kiki's heart was still hammering from the shock, but his mind was long gone. He was lost in thought as he looked at the clouds, they looked so soft and fluffy, Kiki just wanted to jump in. The only thing that stopped Kiki was the question of whats beneath.

Kiki was so lost in thought he didn't even notice his friends asking questions but then he was suddenly back to reality when he saw it. "Is this the heavens gate you spoke off Skalki?" and then immediately regretted asking such a stupid question "It says so on the Arch Idiot." Kiki berated himself. In front of Kiki was a giant Arch in the form of a star. It was so Shiny and Beautifull "Can we steal that for the ship?" Kiki asked rhetorically knowing it would never fit.

As the ship moved forwards Kiki saw a Platform inside the Archway and on top of the platform he saw the shortest, oldest and most wrinkly person, he has ever seen.

Shalki looked around has most of his crew started to freak out or become really excited. To him, however, he just grew more and more nervous. Shalki understood what awaited the Everything Pirates on the other side of the clouds. Terror, war, ...Enel. Shalki knew that meant potential death. He was prepared for that, he had been preparing since he left Skypiea 3 years ago he even saw that joby was capable of surviving lightning and was strong enough to beat Shalki in one punch! But the idea of facing Enel still shook him to his core. He didn’t know the extent of Enel’s power. What if it was so much greater than his own still? What if Joby couldn’t defeat him? Would they all die in vein? Would his family live in Skypiea under Enel’s all seeing eyes forever?

*The Free and Easy broke through the line of clouds and with it Shalki’s mind snapped back to reality.

Although the ship journeyed to a completely different world it still followed the same laws as the old one, gravity brought the ship back down and it crashed into the White Sea of clouds and headed for the gate.

As the free and easy cruised into the sky and landed atop the clouds, it was met by a glorious sight. Soft clouds encompassed the entire area, like fluffy hills, fading into the distance. In front a large golden and white sun was adorned with a crimson sign, golden letters reading "Heaven's Gate". Jobymamushi was little overwhelmed, it could have been because of the air quality and lack of oxygen, it could have been the stress of travel, or it could have been that there was actually a pretty strong resemblance (both are rally short and really wrinkly), plus Master No Name never took off his wraparound sunglasses, so even Joby didn't REALLY know for sure what he looked like..... but he really thought this random lady was his angelic spirit returned to greet him on his journey. He couldn't think of anyone better to guard the gates of Heaven.

Joby stretches his neck out over the edge of the Free and Easy, towards the woman.....like some weird furry rubber snake..... tears streaming down his face, pooling in his open and weeping mouth, and trickling down his chin.

With his weeping countenance next to the unflinching guardian angel's face, unfazed, she simply repeats her welcoming statement.

The illusion of Heaven is shattered as Dondigo hears these words. Entrance fee?!?! To Heaven?!?! What kind of- but before he can continue his thought.

WHAT KIND OF HEAVEN HAS AN ENTRANCE FEE?!?! Shouts Casca, upset that even in the heavens themselves, such a terrible concept as money has pervaded. Surely if there were one place in which money and wealth wouldn't matter it should be heaven.

Man, this is a scam if I've ever seen one. Notes Gatsu, waving his hand in dismissal and walking back towards the cabin door, looking to start another nap. Wake me if you find the real deal.

At this point the Captain was rambling on about how the old lady looks like his master or something. But then, with a Stern scowl on his face, he offers a bit of vital information...

The camera flashed again, however much brighter than before, illuminating Xatch's face to the point that it might have caused burns on someone with flesh on their body. Xatch however would likely just be blinded momentarily. Amazon sneered at the skeleton, disgust filling her voice as she spoke. Begone, thot!

With that, she stepped back, heading to her tiny office in the side of the tunnel, letting the pirates go on their merry way.
