I would be really sad if it was Carrot. Also she has never been to Wano before or not? I mean sure, the traitor was already in Zou, but I just can't think suspiciously of her.
For Shinobu I also fairly believe her about being overly worried because she had to hide for 20 years and never knew if the plan would be a success and the Kozukis would return. If she's the traitor I hope for a very good reason for it.
Kanjuro… I don't know why people would suspect him but I don't see much of a reason for now.

I don't want to suspect Law since he has been with us since Punk Hazard and I think he has a plan that will be beneficial in the end, maybe getting the Supernovas besides Apoo into the whole thing.

Carrot was the only one to smile on the graves (Toko has SMILE effects). And she played a minor role in Wano so far so maybe she's undercover?

Shinobu was dissing Law and we have no reason to believe she isn't an Orochi spy. Just like her boss Fukurokuju betrayed Oden, she's betraying the Alliance. Raizou is the only loyal ninja and ended up being Fukurokuju's enemy/rival. She might be keeping track of the Alliance and reporting to Orochi the details. She's also an enchanter in her youth.

Kanjuro.... well he's least characterized of the Scabbards and didn't really do much in Wano? And he was there in Zou and kept track of Alliance locations. But i don't know why he'll betray Hiyori. His expressions looked genuine.

Is the only one that has known everything that we could put blame on. Knew about Raizo in Zou, was the only one "captured" by Doflamingo on Kaido's behalf. We know that of the people that knew about Raizo in wano. Definetly Kinenmon is not. Raizo was hiding. Nekomumashi and Inuarashi almost have their life's and their people protecting Raizo. Kanjuro is the only that is left out...

I'm just struggling to see Kanjuro reporting Hiyori's location to Orochi though. Shinobu or Carrot probably don't care and will just do it.

I mean but Carrot has never been outside of Zou unto recently. And Sure Shinobu could be too bu she didn't knew that Raizo was on Zou... There is the possibility of more than one traitor as well...

Carrot might be betraying the Alliance already when stepping into Wano. Maybe she got captured by Orochi's forces in the background and persuaded to work for them?

Eh yeah for Shinobu, the Raizou Zou stuff wouldn't directly apply.

I mean but that is a reach at this point. What they would have on Carrot to trap her then let her go and she does what they tell her? What incentive would she have to follow up Orochi's orders?

The traitor must be some one close to the Kozuki family... I think Kaido and Orochi would prefer that. That probably betray them as well 20 years ago...

The traitor is one of the 7 red scabbards that they showed reacting to news of Hiyori being alive, that's why the chapter ended with Orochi finding out she's alive at the northern graveyard.

Kanjuro, Kiku or Shinobu are who I'd suspect. Kanjuro is the one who's suspect, He knew where Raizo was and like some people predicted he was a traitor from 20 years ago. He'll show his true colors soon enough

After thinking on it, one of the Scabbards being the traitor does make more sense. Kanjuro is suspicious, so is Shinobu.

Hmm Kanjuro being a traitor would probably fit a lot of plot points. Being a traitor 20 years ago would also tie into the important Oden flashbacks.

Exactly! Plus would carry a little bit more of an impact than Shinobu!

I highly doubt it's Carrot. I mean if her not crying is the basis, we should remember that she cried, a lot, when Pedro died. So her not crying here does not make any sense for me. So I am looking at this as Oda "failing" to properly draw what her real emotion is.

I am sure it is not Law for obvious reasons.

I feel it is Sicilian. But I must admit that my only basis is my first impression of him when he was first introduced which still lingers up to now.

However, after reading all comments about Shinobu in the chapter thread, I am beginning to believe that she is the traitor. As one poster there pointed out, she may be trying to break the alliance when she dissed Law.

Man, this is really interesting.

Wait. Is there a statement or hint that the Kozuki clan were betrayed 20 years ago? I can't remember it. Hmmm...

I have already explained my issues with the whole Carrot traitor theory before so I'm not going to go through that again, imo the traitor is one of the Nine Red Scabbards and the one I'm leaning towards is Kanjuro.

I find it very strange how Kanjuro is the only scabbard other than Denjiro(who we still don't know where he is) that got the least focus, Kanjuro was the second one introduced after Kin'emon and before Raizo yet characters like Raizo, Ashura Doji, and even Kawamatsu have all so far gotten more focus than Kanjuro. Kanjuro was only focused a little bit here and there but not that much and I find that a bit strange, this makes me think that Oda has something big planned for Kanjuro's character.

Other than the minks the only other characters that knew about Raizo being at Zou was Kin'emon, Kanjuro, and Momo, the minks knew where Raizo was located at Zou so if one of them was the traitor they would have secretly told Jack were Raizo was. Jack only knew that Raizo was at Zou but didn't know his location at Zou, someone must have informed Jack that Raizo was Zou but since this person wasn't at Zou they didn't know where Raizo was located and again the only other characters that knew Raizo was at Zou but didn't know where he was located at Zou was Kin'emon, Kanjuro, and Momo.

We can obviously rule out Momo and we've seen plenty from Kin'emon's character to rule him out so that only leaves Kanjuro, also I find it weird how Hawkins and Drake knew to check the bath house were Nami, Robin, and Shinobu were. The only other characters that knew that those three were going to the bath house were Brook and Kanjuro, obviously it's not Brook so that only leaves Kanjuro being the one that told the Beasts Pirates and Orochi's forces about the bath house.

Also back during the Dressrosa arc, Doffy somehow knew about Momo and him being alive so how did he find out about that? I'm guessing that when Kanjuro got captured at Dressrosa he found out about Doffy's alliance with Kaido, and then told him some information with one of those information probably being about Momo. This whole traitor reveal has to be someone that would really surprise Kin'emon and the others and it has to be someone that they least expect, and what better way to really surprise them is if one of the scabbards specifically Kanjuro ends up being revealed as the traitor.

Lastly I wanted to point out this fun little fact I learned, in real life there was the whole Shimabara Rebellion and one of the rebels was a man named Yamada Emosaku. However Emosaku was secretly an informant for the Tokugawa shogunate, and he ended up betraying his fellow rebels and on top of that he was also a painter.

Law can't be traitor otherwise the scene where Shinobu accused his crew as traitor which lead Law to become angry and went in his own way to prove others wrong that his crew is innocent will completely be meaningless

Yeah agreed. Law being a traitor is unlikely. The Kanjuro theory looks stronger though

I really hope Law isn't a traitor, but on the other hand, maybe Law became so angry that Shinobu called him out was because he knows there was some truth to it - or that he knows himself that he is a traitor, which led to him getting frustrated and/or fleeing the scene. I just hope it isn't him, it would suck because he became one of my favourite characters after the Corazon backstory.
