is there something prepare for chapter 900? or just the next common episode and nothing more.

And Stampede still in japanese chains. I would like to see the movie that day to celebrate OP anime.

It'll just be another episode I think, they don't tend to do anything special for 100's.

In saying that, one of the three series' directors will be the director for the episode, so it should be better put together direction wise than the last two episodes.

Well, not what i expected, but at least something. I'll wait for 1000's then (2 years and a half i believe so), a truly special number for any series.

Episodes by a series director are usually better episodes, so I guess there is us getting a better than average episode?

Animation in Wano is really really off for me. I watched some clips and it hurts my soul

How so?
Most people have generally considered it an improvement and a much needed update of the aesthetic.

I don't know , feels ugly at some moments. Characters look cube like to me. Sure the spicy stuff is good but overall pains me to watch

For me the animation improve in terms of flowing battles and colors pallets mainly. There's good japanese soundtrack too

Could you provide examples, because I don't really get what you're saying, at least in comparison to the show previously(in which this is a big step up aesthetically).

About episode 900 : only weird thing to me was the red glow on Batman's eyes, it's most likely killing intent but it's getting hard to distinguish from Kenbunshoku because the effect is so similar, aside from that... One Piece is One Piece and i love it no matter what.

The purpose of this anime for Wano Arc is meant to be colorful. I definitely enjoy it. I like it a lot more than WCI. You either love it or nah, no one really has been in the middle. Only thing im not a fan of is the pacing is too slow.

pretty good episode but the interaction between batman and zoro/luffy was soooo slow.

I liked the episode, the pacing gets slower for me because I watch the anime while reading along the manga. 10 pages adapted, too bad I did not get to see Okiku getting her sword and be battle ready.
I loved seeing batman and gazelle man lol

Ok.. I followed as recommended by others.. Watched a short clip of a certain episode but naaah.. Don't like the animation... Still wished that they revert to the time they animate MF Arc. For me that's the best of animation they got.

But MF was like 3 steps backyards style wise to where we are currently. Like, yeah, I miss a few animators who worked on Marineford, like Hiromi Ishigami, Kenji Kuroyanagai, Naohiro Shintani and Naotoshi Shida animating stuff regularly, but the general aesthetic of MF still highlighted the same problems in aesthetic that would become more prevalent later on, like, the lack of interesting lighting, and the stale line art, and the garish colour choices.

Moving on from that is a definite positive. The anime being stuck in the 2000's was always the largest problem with the show visually, and would always hold back the general aesthetic not matter how good the supervisor. Now we get consistently more interesting and creative uses of lighting and atmosphere on an episode to episode basis, and even past techniques used on the show look markedly improved by the change in composite.

I am an old-school anime fan and I guess I just can't get away with the old style of animation but still I felt that the older animation is more appealing to me as compared to what I have been seeing lately. The only re-animation I have loved so far is HxH 2011 version. It's clearly better than the old one.
