Yeah its very likely that Corazon was a member of SWORD, but Drake didn't know him personally, because of it.
Drake joined Marine after Corazon died.

I'm glad we get to see more of Reverie in these next chapters, it's gonna be a nice change of pace + building up the hype for the next part of the arc (after Wano).

I agree with my fellow folks that Sabo isn't dead, it can't be due to plot reasons. Makes no sense to revive him, get him his deceased brother's DF and kill him off some arcs after. My bet in also in the framing of killing Cobra, which I will adress in a second.

The framing part wasn't due to the Marines, this is certain. I believe Morgan was the one doing the framing, seeing how he spoke about himself after whooping the government fodder. He lies to benefit and sell. Revolutionaries killing Kings sells like crazy.

As for why I think Cobra is dead, it's simple. It's a plot to make Vivi the next and last straw hat. Why I think that you can adress me by tag in the Next Nakama Thread since it isn't a discussion for here.

The Shichibukai abolition was something we already knew it was coming, however I didn't expect it would happen so soon, to be honest. But if we analyze it properly it makes sense to be abolished in Reverie since it's a meeting of 50 kingdoms and two kingdoms had a Shichibukai station there and destroy everything. The other Kings would be alerted and wanted the abolishing to happen due to that.

Finalizing with why I think Cobra died besides that, it's because of Wapol, who clearly would benefit and also gain sort of revenge upon this event. Wapol is salty that he was kicked out by BB and after his arrival was kicked out AGAIN by none other than Luffy and Vivi. He wouldn't let Vivi go after what happened in Drum Island, so I believe he stirred up something to make the incident of Alabasta.

Reading the chapter again, there are three major incidents: (1) the incident that WG wanted to cover up; (2) the Kings' decision; and (3) the incident/s after the Kings' decision.

From the chapter, I think Morgan's statements regarding (1) death; (2) assassination; and (3) results of the conference are not necessarily the same as the three major incidents above, although the Kings' decision and the results of the conference is certainly the same.

As admitted by Morgans, he includes lies in his news. I think Morgans lied with the "death" aspect. In short, no important figure died, whether royalty or revolutionary. This could be confirmed by Garp's statement that "as long as there is no blood spilled, he would count is as peaceful. But this case is different." This means that while no one died, the incident is definitely not peaceful.

So I believe that these are three major incidents:
1. Incident that the WG wanted to cover up - abduction of Vivi and/or the Alabasta royal family by the order of the Gorosei/Imu. I think this has a connection with Pluton, but I have no idea how. The revos may have attempted to rescue Vivi, but failed, which attempt has been tagged as the "assassination attempt." This is also where Morgans lied, saying that Sabo died.

2. Kings' decision/results of the conference regarding the disbandment of the Shichibukai.

3. The incident after the Kings' decision - is simply the Marines' attempt to arrest the Shichibukai.

So yeah, that was definitely a great chapter. Sabo is obviously the red herring here, someone else must've been killed.


I hope we get to see the aftermath of the ex-shichibukai, apart from buggy lol, wrecking the marines.

Damn this chapter is tasty. I love the varying reactions between the now ex Warlords, from Buggy losing his shit to Mihawk just patiently waiting for the fight (Yoru shadow-boxing in the corner).
Also Sabo’s dead, or he’s not. Either way, don’t care. My worry is that Crow-man is missing too.

My worst fears for the Revs have been realized. This entire declaration of war thingy minus Dragon has disaster written all over it. Clashing against even a single admiral let alone two is always a catastrophie waiting to happen. Sabo may very well be still alive but most probably he's not in a good position. He's either locked up in a cell somewhere or he might have escaped though gravely wounded. The commanders are also no where to be found. Either way, the firepower of the Revs at least for the time being is severely weakened IMO. If it turns out that Sabo was indeed captured, how the hell will Dragon rescue him with only Betty and Ivankov as his top fighters assuming that the other 3 commanders are also out of commission? Maybe Dragon has some other top caliber fighters that are under his command that have yet to be revealed. Nevertheless, a sad day for the Revs... ?

Chapters related to reverie always keep things obscured. I'm here to talk about that pirate... We can cut loose Warlords bcoz of Vegapunk's that invention... This is Sabo we're talking about, I can't believe something like that could happen to him... Instead of letting navy have it, I would rather take that myself. Why does Oda keep doing that..

Mihawk and Hancock is going to be back in action and busting marine ass which is just wonderful. Buggy's finally got his delusions of grandeur as a shichibukai ended heihachi style. Overall splendid chapter with the only weakness being Oda potentially recycling ace's storyline on sabo as Luffy's brother who got caught by the government which luffy must save.

I get the feeling that Sabo will leave Boa alone an go to Wano to back up Luffy and Drake.

There was no mention of Sabo's death. I think he got captured. And this is the big incident Oda was talking about for the Grand fleet. Luffy after dealing with two Yonko will head straight to free his brother and the Grand fleet will go with him along with maybe some samurai/mink . And at the time the fifth Yonko status would not be just Morgan headcanon. It's going to be Whitebeard type of apparition. The strongest Yonko on the sea vs the Marine.

I think Blackbeard is after Pluton rather than a DF or one of the Warlords. It would tie in the incident that happened at the Reverie regarding the Alabasta Kingdom. Maybe Cobra is dead or was attacked, and BB has reasons to believe that it'll fall in the Marines Hand following the incident.

Pluton was not in Alabasta remember. I think BB want the fruit. He got a set of thing he needs before finding raftel. His plan doesn't just include the road ponegliph. He waited years just to get the yami yami no mi.

I was re-reading the chapter and I had a thought. If he’s been working as a captain for secret special forces who all knew and how long has he the force been around? Was Kizaru aware of it and just went along to help him keep up his appearance or were only certain higher ups aware? I’m interested in finding out who else SWORD consists of.

Koby said all Marines combined (Not just HQ) can't handle this situation so i doubt they are going to Wano
It's also interesting that he is re-introduced as Rear Admiral so it's either a Mistake by Oda or he was promoted after Reverie Events

Regarding those News, it's said there are three: The Incident WG tried to Cover Up, King's Decision (Obviously Shichibukai One) & Post-Reverie Incident (Which was confirmed by Garp as Alabasta Incident)
So we currently have two unknown Incidents and thanks to Morgans we have confirmation that one of the Incidents includes a Death while the other includes an Assassination Attempt

As for Schichibukai, i wonder where each of them will go, Weevil & Mihawk can simply defeat those Marines and run but what about Buggy & Hancock ? Buggy needs to hide, he can't run easily and as for Hancock, she is a Queen, she can't just abandon her Island and Citizens

As for Teach, it seems what he is aiming for isn't something he really thought about before, but something that just appeared
