Not if Nessos' himself is acting scummy, but a reason his claim is bad like you guys are suggesting. Secondarily, why is potentially lynching scum here worth the risk that Nessos is telling the truth. Because if you're wrong here you are helping Mafia out tremendously)

1) His claim looks like it comes straight from a Wiki article and not from a role sheet. So it looks like he only got the name of the Fake claim, but no abilities.

2) His salty reaction when I accused him and OMGUS vote on me.

3) Him claiming out of the blue. Usually a scum tactic as scum usually doesn't just draw attention to them by random claiming, so it makes a fake claim more believable.

Additionally his reactions in general, and the fact there is a villain chara who can basically set traps and would suit his attention drawing behaviour.

Dark Shadow is an ability that works on the basis of light and darkness. To train it he went into a dark cave where light didn't enter. To battle against it others used flash bang grades. It isn't based on emotions or the number of dead townies.

My other ability also refers to my Shadow and only work at night. So I have no das abilities which is self explained ^^

To answer your question directly, and this is in line with what stray is saying.

Tokoyami could fit a many number of mafia game roles as a strong townie. Having a night active with a day negative being one, being able to send dark shadow out to investigate or attack being another. Dark Shadow’s characteristic strengths are that it has good attack power and range and can move independently of the user. Tokoyami more often than not us used this as a scouting ability in cannon.

Dark Shadow going out of control and being a late game punishment type seems like a really big stretch to me based off of the roll I got and the active I have. No I am not fucking claiming. There are a lot of power players in MHA and a lot of characters who would fit a late game punishing town role more clearly. If everyone who could be one was one, then town would be way too overpowered since it is my understanding that late game is where scum is supposed to thrive if they have done their job right

What I did was throw out a random kill target to see what reactions I got, and the reactions you immediately started throwing out were pretty much unanimously agreed upon to be sus as fuck.

My other "conditional ability" is "Furious l dark shadow".
3 dead Townies -> RNG invest one of the characters of my base ability
6 dead Townies -> It turns into an ordinary Cop ability.


I flavour claimed Tokoyami simply because Tokoyami has a quite powerful defense in MHA. Hoping scum would think I have somekind of defensive ability and will unlock an Attack ability. But no I am a just an Invest!

It could have worked out but Town gonna Town. Lets jump in the one who claimed a Town flavour trying to exploit the rules in Towns favour.

Takoyami isn't an emotional character. He's a bit emo, but that's because he's a chuunibyou who thinks that makes him look edgy. If you wanted someone tied emotions you would go Mr. Explosion Murder or the dude that talks to animals.

Okosan's concern, but you did, I see it as fine, now get rid of your tunneling on Nessos, we don't get info out of his lynch in case it is a mislynch, a claimed character can be easily confirmed, even if he can be dangerous to us. There will be lookout and tracker to collect information to back up Nessos's claim.
Let's rather focus on getting more impressions and maybe lynch Stray Cat or someone else. I think after wasting time alot are in a similair boat for now.
