That is until a certain somebody who previously possessed Tama’s df powers came along and tamed all ( or a portion of the more savage, carnivorous Minks ) with some kibi dango....essentially against their will, ie brainwashing.
S’why I think at least one Mink ( looking at you, Sicilian ) is a possible traitor; no race in One Piece is averse to corruption. Said Mink probably became aware of the true history of the Minks and took umbrage to the manner of their ancestors’ sudden paradigm shift.
Given how Tama’s komainu didn’t apparently need any kibi dango fuckery to bring him to heel, might be a foreshadowing of this subject being broached in some capacity. Is it truly not a violation of one’s freedom afterall? A subjugation of will akin to Kaido’s aims as it concerns his captured foes?
If so, what I’m essentially saying here is that the tale of Momotaro actually took place in ancient Wano, only the “villain” of the story was possibly Momotaro himself...and the onis the “heroes.” Or some blurring of these roles.
Certainly not an original theory, but might be we'll see a traitorous Sicilian going all Super Lion level 2 and 3, ie a Lion Mink...who possesses a Lion Zoan df...who can go Sulong to boot. OR. He ends up eating several lion SMILES ( along with devouring Holdem, thereby gaining HIS SMILE ), basically becoming a leonine version of Karasu...
