Baratie - #10 @Ichimonji @Emperor Cross

Krabby took place within the kitchen but the young lad didn't have an ounce of interest in learning to cook or getting on anyone's good side. With a swagger and an enormous amount of complacency, he'd move behind Carne and move up a playing card towards his neck. "Hoho, a tough guy. I'm wetting my pants already. Piss off kid, if you don't want to do anything." Carne said, not a whisper but also not shouting. And not frightened by the lad for he had most likely seen much worse. He'd shove the young Krabby away from him, dodging the card if need be. Whether Krabby was aware of it or not Zeff's eye was constantly on him. But fortunately, he couldn't see that he was threatening one of his staff but his suspicion was rising when he noticed Carne's reaction to at least something. The man's eyes narrowed and he stroked his beard, letting out a single grunt.

After Carne had shoved Krabby aside the young lad was up to his own devices, the man himself didn't pay any attention to him anymore. Nor was he going to give him any directions. His wish to chill was effectively granted. But how that'd aid him to gain Zeff's graces remained to be seen.

Meanwhile outside.

Visitors were already entering the Baratie through its main entrance and very quickly the evening shift was in full swing. Gryphon herself would notice this through the amount of people being seated and plated. But the large warship was now in plain view. The avalanche crew would notice it to be around the same size as a regular or common marine ship but re-engineered to fit the pirate lifestyle. At the front of the ship, a bandaged Johnny stepped to the front and extended his right arm, index finger straight at the Baratie.

"My comrades! It is time we take what is mine by force. Zeff has ignored the pleas of a Yonkou to teach one of his commanders the fabled red leg style. That is unforgivable so there rests only one thing for me to do. Enjoy the consequences of your actions, Zeff! GET THEM!" Johnny shouted as from the ship 3 goons leaped out and onto the deck of the baratie, moving towards the stairs and entrance.

Meet Butch, Beck and Burke. The Johnny pirate's commanding officers.

The Restaurant Baratie - #11

I wish a bi*** would. Red observed the approaching warship without yield. The Revolutionary ship, disguised as a humble merchant vessel, concealed its armaments, abiding by the Commander's directive to avoid engagement. However, the presence of the enigmatic young girl standing resolutely at the bow of the Revolutionary ship added an unpredictable element to the situation. Her cold, unyielding gaze remained fixed on Gryphon and the warship.

As the warship docked, a voice reverberated across the scene.
[Red] "Oh, it's just that idiot.”- Red scoffed to herself
The three men, aptly named, would discover the red-haired woman leaning against the left side of the restaurant's entrance from the inside, facing the kitchen. She held her signature flask, taking occasional sips. Gryphon awaited their arrival. The woman remained passive, not engaging them, anticipating Zeff's emergence from the kitchen. The moment for their encounter was imminent. Red chose to observe, allowing events to unfold and awaiting Zeff's guidance, if any, on intervention.

Red had found her response to Zeff's perplexing question.

Krabby let himself be pushed aside. He was a Fishman, he knew he was definitely stronger than the cook. He wanted to be left alone and fighting would not resolve anything. The young man squinted his eyes for a bit; he could see Zeff looking toward them. So he decided to play nice and waved in the old man's direction. The lyricist stored his card back into one of his pockets and went back to sit on a crate. The cook did not fear him, he even challenged Krabby. This was interesting, their casino needed men like that in their ranks. As the businessman kept looking around, he confirmed his intent. He would buy this place. And maybe try to recruit some pirates from Cocoyashi to protect it.

Suddenly a yell was heard, some pirates were angry at Zeff. The kid clapped in his hands with excitement. If a fight happened, it would surely cause some damage to the restaurant and reduce its price. A simple, friendly loan would become something else, and then Don Krabb would be the owner without lifting a finger.

Baratie - #11 @Ichimonji @Emperor Cross

Both Gryphon and Krabby were left to their own devices with one already in the know on what was about to happen. Eventually, the door to the Baratie would crash open, prompting everyone to turn their heads. Beck entered first with his cronies, Butch and Burke closely behind him. The kitchen staff, not yet aware of this fact.

"Well well well well....what do we 'ave 'ere. Enjoying the meal are we? Well not for much longer! I'm under strict orders."
"You mean we boss." Butch quickly corrected.
"WE....are under strict orders to ruffle some feathers since a certain old man here is neglecting his duties."
"Yeah yah, not so smart if ya gotta pay the Vampire lord himself."
"Shut up Burke, and its VamPIRATE, emphasis on the pirate. You know he hates that."
Beck hushed his smaller brother Burke.

This strange encounter left the room stunlocked the people wasn't sure if to were afraid or if this was some kind of comedy act. Eventually, the truth of the matter would be laid bare.

"Kind people of the Baratie, my sincerest apologies," Beck said as he pointed his right index finger to the lower floors and where everyone was sitting. While it took a few moments for Butch and Burke to receive their queues, eventually they'd draw their knives and jumped downwards. Many of the diners at this point realised the situation that was at hand and started to flee in the direction of the kitchen.

"Bone apple tea!"
"It's bon appetite, you idiot!"

Eventually, the situation from inside came into the kitchen, Zeff with eyes of shock moved to the dining floor as quickly as he could.

"What on earth is the meaning of this?"

Zeff asked and wondered what on earth was happening but before he could even move as much as a muscle a gun bullet would fly next to his face, missing him by a thread. From up top, a favourable position Beck took watch with a pistol in his right. "Ah ah ah, no can do sir. You're here to watch as we ruin your reputation forever. What is a restaurant where the diners are constantly at risk of being boarded and attacked? Once that fact comes out, you'll have nothing else left."

"Curse you, who on earth are you, people?" Zeff shouted, cursing his old and frail body. If he was only 20 years young he'd have made them meet the floor in the blink of an eye.

For now, no response came from either of the brothers and Zeff in his moment of anger and desperation failed to notice the still-seated Red. Perhaps it was a matter of pride or something else but for now, he would not ask or plea for her help. The same could also be said for Krabby but whether he'd see this moment to intervene in aid of Zeff remained to be seen.

The three B's stormed into the restaurant, their comical routine eliciting a chuckle from Red. They were like characters from a beloved franchise, familiar and amusing. Red waited for confirmation of hostility, which came swiftly as the men openly declared their allegiance to the Vampirates and their intent for bloodshed. Red refrained from intervening, her attention instead shifting to Zeff as he emerged from the kitchen.

However, when the shot rang out, Red's reaction was immediate and almost instinctual: Gryphon transformed into lightning, and a booming thunderclap filled the air. In an instant, Red appeared in front of Beck, her right hand already reaching for his pistol nozzle.
[Red] "Shooting my sensei. That's one way to piss me off.”- Red said in a scowl, her hands as hot as lightning to melt the gun as she held it
[Red] "And in case y’all didn't get the memo... today ain’ a good day TO PISS ME OFF!!!"- the woman roared, eyes crackling with thunder

With those words, Red spun in place, extending her left leg in an attempt to sweep Beck off his feet. Continuing the motion, she followed up with a punch aimed at Beck’s abdomen as he fell, executing a lightning-quick Muay Thai combo. The lightning-quick combo relied on the surge of electricity she had released to Beck through his gun, in hopes of momentarily stunning him to facilitate the attack.

Red's statement kick aimed to send Beck flying across the room and through the door to the foyer outside.

[Red] "Oi! Ojissan! Ain’t anywhere I can teach these boys a lesson?- Red asked to avoid trashing the restaurant. “And don't give me any of that Legacy crap, they asked for it. ”- the lady quipped

Raimei (literally meaning "Thunderclap")
The user turns to lightning and uses a bolt to transport himself from one area to another, increasing the user's movement speed by mastery / 5 (Soru guidelines). When used, the movement makes the sound of a thunderclap, hence its name.

Requirements: 31 DF

Gloam Paddling (literally meaning "Lightning Metallurgy")
A technique where Enel channels electricity into a piece of metal he touches to heat, melt, and then reshape it into anything he desires. During his duel with Luffy, Enel used Gloam Paddling to reforge his gold staff into a sharp-bladed trident, while retaining the electric heat inside the weapon to simultaneously cut and burn Luffy upon contact with it, the spear proving hot enough to instantly scorch wood into ash.
Rank: D
Requirements: 21 DF / Depends on size

Red DPS: 21-40: 0. Street Level + 1 (C Rank) = 41-60: 1. Wall/Tree Level

Clients flooded the cuisine, afraid and lost. As he predicted, a fight was going on. Some dumb pirates had caused enough commotion to force the clientèle away. Sadly for Baratie, the cooks looked the same as the bandits. Someone had to intervene; with a swipe, he threw some plates and wiped a table clean of any instruments. The noise alerted some of them, and with a suave voice, the kid yelled at the crowd. He had to catch their attention and make himself useful.

- " Oi ! Oi! ! Oi ! Get in front of me gents ! For the spectacle you needed ! " the kid deck of cards popped out in his hands and he began shuffling the cards on the table doing way more than necessary "Have you ever heard of the Electrifying Waterwheel Casino ? " The kid waved in the air " Don't worry, my bodyguards are talking care of the threats, so while we wait... approach my beautiful peeps, approach if you want to play the best game of your life."

Krabby's smile was wide, he was to pluck them and gain Zeff's trust. A businessman should always be able to seize an opportunity when it presents itself. Krabby was a genius, so he could catch two at the same time ya know ?
