The Hunter’s Dream

General Overview
A home for the hopeful wanderer, those who wish to make a name for themselves and for natural killers. The Hunter’s dream is open for all who wish to join their ranks, with but one condition, their members cannot be pirates or marines. For the dream takes jobs from both factions. If one of their members were to be aligned with one of these two great powers, it’d force them to take a side. Which the dream does not, only their contract dictates what they are required to do. Those who sign the contracts have accepted those terms and will wave away the results of these missions, to the best of their abilities, of course. It is not uncommon for a hunter to have a bounty himself.


General Mission
For now, the true purpose of the dream remains a top level secret only select high ranked officers are aware of. But intelligence may suggest that they are trying to amass a certain amount of wealth and network which would allow them to reach their objective. What this objective is, remains unknown until this time.

The Hunters

Chairman
The ever illustrious chairman of the hunter’s dream. His face is unknown, nor has it ever been revealed in public. Rumour has it that only 4 hunters within its entire organization know what he looks like. The only thing that is known about the Chairman is that every one of them up until this point in time took the title of Gehrman. For whatever reason this may be, no one knows.

The Zodiacs
The elite among the elite are the 12 Zodiacs within the Hunter’s dream. Often taking up the harshest and longest missions within the dream. Each one of them chooses a zodiac sign of their preference as a codename. To employ the might of a zodiac requires an extraordinary amount of berri and has to be pre approved by the Chairman himself. A hunter can become a zodiac by being hand-picked or defeating a previous zodiac in battle.

Three-Stars Hunter
The second-highest tier within the hunter’s dream are the three-star hunters. Established by their incredible combat ability, they also hold an esteemed track record in successful contracts. More often than not, these hunters are a pool from which the chairman picks a zodiac successor from.

Two-Stars Hunter
Hunters who have taken their steps towards greatness are situated here. Their combat ability has been acknowledged as they have gained the trust of harsher contracts. An individual with several contracts under their belt are situated here.

One-Star Hunter
Are those that have finished their training successfully and have completed a single contract. These are the rookies of the dream, the bulk of their forces and those that take lower risked contracts.

Hunters
Fresh from their training or having just enlisted within the dream are situated here. More often than not, these men and women are awaiting the chance to go on their first contract. Sadly, a lot of them never make it back, for it is a perilous life.

Ranking System

Ranking up within the Hunter’s dream is different from most organizations in that it doesn't factor in raw strength on its own. A combination of experience, reliability and combat power determines one’s rank within the dream. The Chairman’s assistant is the only one who has the final say in who is worthy for a rank up and who isn’t. When a hunter is marked for a promotion, they are required to enter one of their outposts stretched out over the world to accept this offer. Below are some rough outlines for what the requirements are for each ranking.

Zodiacs
Only ones hand-picked by Gehrman the Chairman. Or when a zodiac is defeated by a new member.
Requirements: Level 80

Three-Stars Hunter
Minimum: Level 60 and +2 completed Islands.

Two-Stars Hunter
Minimum: Level 40 and two completed Islands

One-Star Hunter
Minimum: Level 30 and one completed Island

Hunter
Requirement: No level, this is applied to those who join at first.

MASTER OF ARMS

While not forced to follow this fighting style, a hunter within the dream has access to a rather unique master of arms combat art. Revolving around the adaptability of many weapons, it is a highly versatile way of fighting. But it does make the user a master of none in the most literal sense of the word.

1-20 Basic Mastery - First weapon training and C Rank techniques with said weapon
21-40 Adept Mastery - Second weapon training and B Rank techniques with the first weapon
41-60 Skilled Mastery - Third weapon training/ A-rank techniques with the first weapon and C rank with the second
61-80 Proficient Mastery - A rank with 1st/B rank with 2nd/C Rank with 3rd
81-99 Excellent Mastery - A rank with 1 & 2nd/B rank with 3rd
100 Supreme Mastery - A rank with all 3 weapons.

TECHNIQUES
Darkness Breathing Style ( Yami no kokyu)
Darkness Breathing is a Breathing Style that mimics nothing in particular but is focused on wild like and overwhelming attacks. Using these overwhelming attacks and their demeanour to strike fear into their opponents. Most, if not all, known techniques and forms are simple, straightforward yet powerful, overwhelming and brutal movements and attacks. It currently has 10 forms and is extremely flexible, being able to use with any kind of weapon within the Arms Master Arsenal. These are not separated arts but an actual overview of the list of attacks A Hunter can use.

First Form: Oblivion strike
The user dashes forward at blinding speeds and slashes continuously in a horizontal cyclone pattern. Unleashing a cyclone that rends and cleaves anything in its path. (first form wind breathing) - B rank 51 mastery 51 str 41 movement

Second Form: Call of the Void
The user charges towards their opponent at high speeds and aims to decapitate them in one slash. (first form fire breathing)/C-rank 21 mastery 21 str 21 movement

Third Form: Inner Storm
The user unleashes a whirlwind by swinging their weapon strongly to the side, unleashing an outward expanding air blast. Sweeping those standing next to them off their feet./ C-Rank 31 mastery 31 str

Fourth Form: Night Parade
The user charges towards their opponent at blinding speeds while swinging both their weapons rapidly unleashing a flurry of strikes. (hack and slash) B Rank 41 mastery 41 str 41 movement

Fifth Form: Night Terror
The Hunter swings his weapon down in a powerful frontal crescent-shaped slash that creates powerful multi-directional long-ranged slashes in the ground./ A- Rank its 71 mastery 71 str

Sixth Form: Vacuum Crush
The user dashes at their target at blinding speeds and uses the momentum of their speed to then strengthen a single thrust into their opponent. / B-Rank 41 mastery 41 str 41 movement

Seventh Form: Phlegeton's Advent
The user lifts their weapon above their head and slams them down with great force whilst simultaneously creating a shockwave due to the sheer force behind the swing. Creating additional damage and catching evasion. / A-Rank 71 mastery 71 str

Eight Form: Charon's Bell
The user unleashes a flurry of nine consecutive attacks that flow and weave in on themselves. / A-Rank 71 mastery 71 str if ranged

Ninth Form: Stasis
The user performs a fast and accurate stab, capable of reducing the impact of a moving target. / C-Rank 21 mastery 21 str, requires around the same tier mastery to reduce impact

Variation - A modified strike that hits from a specific angle corresponding to the sword's structure, which nearly nullifies the impact and momentum of a moving object./ C-Rank

Tenth Form: Event Horizon
The user slashes rapidly and seemingly everywhere in a berserk state. From long-range, it creates a chaotic vortex of powerful extremely long-ranged Omni-directional slashes that destroy whatever is caught up within its attack radius. From close range, it aims to slice up anything and everything in its path. / A-Rank 71 mastery 71 str, cant be massively long range
