Yes the buildup has been there since start bt Kidd is more angry at Kaidou, he claims he will beat kaidou while he was in thr prison.Ace wasn't send he went in His own, but same could be applied to Kidd and Apoo ^^
But there is more then this hinting for their fight. I mean already back a Sabaody they wanted to fight
And then while they had their meeting Apoo destroyed the Kidds hideout and insults him trying to start a Fight, but sadly Killer stopped them...
And now with Apoo the one betraying the alliance. So there is No doubt that this fight will happen in Wano. But really expect that Kidd will win this... maybe we are lucky and Apoo use some cheap tricks getting a win (similar to what Hawkins did with Law)
Tarot cards don't foresee the future, it can foresee what can happen and it's pretty vague to the reader. It also don't reveal when it will happen. At least when I got mine read it wasn't like this.

Perhaps, but for someone cool and calculating like Hawkins, who has displayed great accuracy with his readings I would have expected him to predict a chance of betrayal by his alliance. If Apoo was already working under Kaido, I'd imagine a ridiculously high percentage to be given. Apoo being a traitor diminishes Hawkins power IMO.
Law turning Hawkins into sushi did it for me

That only happens when Big Mom goes on her food rampage or if she's really angry, also so far unlike King, Queen, and Apoo, the other Beasts Pirate members get scared around Kaido especially if he's really angry.
I mean generally, her subordinates are afraid to talk to her(think Tamago mentioned that back in FMI). That's why there is so much miscommunication. Even her higher ranking subordinates dislike communicating with her.
They can still communicate with her fine when they need to like when Smoothie was telling her that they will go after the SHs and others or when Perospero told her the whole situation that happened with the SHs and others during her food rampage, so far you only saw Queen and Apoo have a normal chat with Kaido. His other subordinates at least the lower ranking ones were scared of him, the vivre card for Jack states that he is scared of Kaido and when Kaido came to Kuri Holdem thought Kaido was there to kill him.
Not only that. While Big Mom has a monarch like structure. Kaido seems more like a group of bandits/Vikings that while obviously there is a structure it more like comrades than anything. They allow a degree of mistake and talk back.
I can't blame Hawkins for not fighting alongside Kid and Killer, it's not like their alliance lasted that long and Hawkins isn't like Kid and Killer that would rather fight than to join. Hawkins seems like the type of person that would rather take the safe route and also I'm assuming that Kid and Killer immediately fought Kaido after Kaido asked them to join him, and after seeing what Kaido did to Kid and Killer that's when Hawkins probably decided to just join Kaido instead of also fighting him.
I think he already answered to Law, he didn't join in considering the chances of victory were nill. I can also get him, it was futile and he also seems to be always relying on it, bt that just also shows you can't dpnd on this guy to be your back especially when the odds are against you and you need him the most.
