CHARACTER OVERVIEW
Appearance
Kallavan has fair skin, blue eyes, and initially blonde hair. His blonde hair was styled as a mohawk. Kallavan is very tall and large built or muscular. Contrary to the standard navy outfit Kallavan dons a rather unique one, safe for the trademark white jacket. He wears a dark navy military uniform which consisted of a beret hat with the marine's logo, big coat or jacket with military ranks insignia on both shoulders, and long pants. Lost his left arm in the battle against Kaido.

Personality
He is said to be very militaristic among the marines. Many have claimed that he seems to have an overflowing amount of bluffing power which is a quality for a leader. He also appears to be a World Government fanatic, which he believes he can make his dream come true, and also believes Akainu is undefeatable and should be the one true leader within the Government. The young man is still oblivious to the greater dealings within the Goverment. He is also someone who'd follow his orders from the army without fault, putting his personal issues aside no mater what.

Kallavan is shown to care deeply for his subordinates, who are all so blindly loyal to him, it was noted they are more loyal to him than they are to the Government as a whole and henceforth why they were characterized as a mercenary unit or a pirate group.

Kallavan also holds an incredible amount of pride and lust for strength. Vowing that everything can be achieved as long as you're the strongest. A trait not commonly found within the marines, who are mostly reserved and would fight tricks and subterfuge. Kallavan is one of the select few who'd fight one on one battles for the sake of battle alone. Secretly loving the thrill combat gives him. Because of that, he is also one of the most accomplished fighters within the Government. A late bloomer for, his skills only started to really develop when he was in his early twenties. But now, he's been able to absorb battle tactics and martial arts like never before.

KALLAVAN HISTORY
Overview
Hailing from two ex-rocks pirates. Kallavan's past and childhood saw him move from place to place. Continuously on the run. Marines searched for them high and low for the legacy of rocks had to go, be forgotten and extinguished from the halls of time. This eventually led to the Nautica incident. Where Kallavan's parents were slaughtered by Akainu and the young boy's life imprisoned, his past locked away and rewritten. Kallavan the child of rocks died and the bright hope of the Marines was born.

But such a lock on the mind does not hold forever, for the soul never forgets. And during his battle with Kaido, Kallavan finally remembered everything. And so a revolution was imminent.

Rokushiki

Tesshi(Iron fingers): A selective mode of tekkai that is mostly used as a combination with Shigan to increase piercing damage. But can be used as shockfactor to block attacks with only one finger. - A Rank (71 Mastery, 61 Strength, 61 durability )

Tekkai Kenpo Genkai (Tekkai Kenpo - Limit) -> A more advanced version of tekkai gou but instead of flexing the entire body the user flexes one or both their arms. Upon activating their biceps expand exponentially, increasing their strength far beyond their normal limits. The resulting blows in this form leave hand imprints into the area they punch. A side effect of buffing one's muscles to their limit is that the user needs to rest for several turns before being able to use tekkai again. - A Rank - tekkai buf goes to strength instead of durability, 2 turn CD(71 Mastery, 61 Strength, 61 durability )

Soru ("Rankyaku Firebird") :
Another combination move where the user dashes forward with soru while extending their kicking leg. By using the momentum one can afterwards deploy a technique that combusts high air pressure by grinding the ground during the dash. The user can guide the fire created by kicking it towards the enemy. A Rank(71 Mastery, 61 Strength, 61 movement speed )

Flowing Edge (流 (りゆう) 刃 (じん) , Ryūjin) - is a defensive technique that deflects an attack's trajectory by applying power to its side.
B-rank

Kami-e "Zanshin" (紙絵「残身」 Kami-e "Zanshin"?, literally meaning "Paper Drawing: 'Remaining Body'): Used by Stussy. Instead of the body becoming limp like paper, the user appears to relax but actually moves with high speed around their opponent, leaving the opponent to attack an afterimage of the user.
51 Mastery, 51 Reaction Speed, 51 Movement Speed. Can be countered with 1 tier above reaction speed or 2 tiers above Awarness Obeservation Haki

Claw Rankyaku :
Self explanatory, by using the claws in hybrid form Kallavan launches a hand based rankyaku without the need to kick his leg - B Rank(41 DF, 41 mastery, 41 strength, 41 movement speed )

Jugon "Madara" :
A high-speed version of Jugon mimicking the shigan Madara variant but instead of regular shigans, Jugon is being used.
A - Rank (71 Mastery, 61 Strength, 61 movement speed )

Rokuougan shoot :
A kicking version of a regular Rokuougan that is capable of sending the opponent flying while also damaging the opponent internally.
S-Rank(91 Mastery, 91 Strength, 81 Armament Haki )

Rokuougan Kyoryu Ha! (Six kings Dino Wave Gun :
Just like rokuougan shoot this is a more concentrated version of that technique. Overflowing with power the user dashes madly at their opponent with all the speed they can muster before dropping down on them with a double dropkick, amplifying the 'blast' while also knocking them backwards several yards away if connected.

Rankyaku: Samidare (Tempest kick: Summer rain)
The user kicks the air at high speed, unleashing a regular rankyaku at first glance. However, as it travels, the air blades explode into an array of numerous smaller air blades. Showering an opponent with a rapid fire like attack.

Ashigan(Leg Pistol)
The user kicks with their legs at the speed of a shigan, able to pierce and or attack at jabbing like speeds.

A rankyaku performed with one's arms, using the force of the wind to mimick a massive palm thrust that flies towards the opponent. Not aimed to cut but to crush and push away.

Gagan( "Fang Gun" )
Used by Who's-Who in his Human-Beast form. Who's-Who quickly thrusts his maw forward, releasing a blast of compressed air that is shaped like his fangs. The blast makes a biting motion once it connects to a surface, gouging a clean, round hole out of the struck target. It was first used against Jinbe, who successfully dodged the first attack. Kallavan mostly uses it in his Beast Form.

One-inch Rokuougan
An extremely close one-handed rokuougan.

Rokushiki Ogi: Kikoho (Six Styles Secret Skill: (気き功こう砲ほう Kikōhō, lit. "Spirit Cultivation Gun")
The ultimate version of the Rokuougan and by design Kallavan's ultimate technique within his Rokushiki mastery. A new 8th skill for those select individuals that have mastered both 6 versions, Rokuougan and unmatched mastery in armaments.

This technique is performed by gathering energy, forming a vaguely diamond-shaped "tunnel" with the hands by keeping the fingers on each hand together, overlapping the index finger on the one hand with the pinky of the other hand, and overlapping the thumbs. The object being focused on gets 'zoomed' in on and visualized inside that diamond through mantra, then the user shouts while releasing the large shock wave like beam from their hands. The application of the Rokuougan shockwave combined with the users extreme haki(120) allows for the energy to be burst forward into an attack of overwhelming proportions. Due to the intense application of haki this technique also inflicts damage on the user as it drains their spirit to life - threatening levels.

- Dash: Self-explanatory, follows Soru rulings.

- Shotgun punch: Using vibrations through punches, causing the shockwaves to go through their body and mess up their insides. [ A Rank]

- Machine Gun jab: A very fast punch that lacks in strength, often used by the not dominant arm. Has an alternate version where Kallavan unleashes a flurry of fists. [ A Rank]

- Tremor: The user stamps their foot, releasing powerful vibrations into the ground causing the area to shake violently. [ C Rank]

-Kia: A reverse thunderclap that instead of being one direction is omnidirectional. However, due to the nature of the attack, its power potential is greatly diminished compared to the regular thunderclap. Can be used through one’s hands or simply through the vocal cords. [ B Rank]

Punching rapidly in front of himself, Kallavan creates a barrage of ranged shockwaves. The raw destructive power capable of ruining the land. A-Rank 71 mastery, 71 str

-Gamma Mörser!
One of Kallavan's most powerful techniques. Kallavan lunges forward, punching with so much force, it creates his most powerful shockwave that is capable of going through almost anything. Although the latter is self proclaimed.

-Sanshikidan
A powerful downward punch that delivers a large shockwave into the ground that expands outward. B-Rank 51 mastery, 51 str

-Hasshoken Ogi: Blue Silver Chaotic Afterglow
Kallavan creates an omni-directional barrage of thin and sharp shockwaves that seemingly strike out of nowhere from a flurry of punches.
S+-Rank 100 mastery, 100 str

-Kokusen:*
An incredibly deadly punch when the user strikes an opponent's vital point with laser precision. Applying the hasshoken energy within the last possible second. This results in the overlapping of two forces, creating an immensely powerful blow that overflows with black lightning. Often confused with Kings haki but can be imbued with it.

Hashokken Ogi Hanten: Aka
The Pinnacle of Hasshoken manipulation and mastery. By converging all of the hasshoken vibrations and energy at the tip of an index finger(s) or palms into an orb, the user then applies extreme forward rotation to the condensed orb. During this rotation the user applies the second step which is extreme counter-clockwise rotation, resulting in a blinding right orb. At that point, the orb is complete and thrown towards the opponent. Despite its comically small size, upon thrown the output this releases is massive, creating a gigantic shockwave that catapults anything in front of the user miles away.

Considering the amount of concentration and manipulation this attack requires. A user can at most output two of these orbs in a single adventure. Moving during the set-up considerably lowers its full output.

Destructive Potency Rank: A-Rank(moving) S+ fully realized.
Life-Return

Voice Changer: By generating an excess of estrogen or testosterone, the user can dramatically alter the pitch of their voice, making it either higher or lower. This allows them to mask their natural voice and adopt a different tone, making it highly effective for stealth missions.

Shoka, Kyushu: The user consumes a large quantity of food and accelerates their metabolism to swiftly process it. This results in the healing of small wounds and replenishes a moderate amount of stamina. Kumadori uses this technique to return to his normal size body fat after eating all the food in the refrigerator in which Chopper had locked him in. One can recover five (5) points of stamina per twenty-five (25) mastery.

Color Changer: Through precise control over melanin production, the user can manipulate their skin tone, ranging from pearl white to deep black and any shade in between. This ability is advantageous for blending into shadows for stealth or quickly altering one's appearance.

Lung Control: By enhancing lung capacity and oxygen levels, the user can hold their breath for extended durations effortlessly. Furthermore, by inhaling a significant volume of oxygen and compressing it within their lungs, the user can generate a medium-sized shockwave when shouting.

Rank: C (Supplementary) / B (scream)

Temperature Control: The user masters thermoregulation, enabling them to control their body temperature to an extraordinary extent. This ability grants them immunity to external extreme temperatures, reducing the damage (DPR) of heat/cold attacks by one tier if the opposing attack is one tier below the user's Life Return mastery, and by two tiers if the opposing attack is two tiers below the user's Life Return mastery.

Seimei Kikan: Kami-e Bushin: By employing Seimei Kikan, the user can alter their physical form to become smaller, lighter, and more agile, enhancing their speed and nimbleness. Conversely, they can expand their form to increase the area of effect of their attacks, sacrificing agility for greater coverage.

Body Excretion: The user possesses the ability to isolate, break down, and expel harmful substances that enter their body, such as poison, by expelling the harmful substance. This process takes one turn to reduce the effect and another turn to completely eliminate it.

Enhanced Recovery: The user can boost their body's recovery rate by elevating blood-borne oxygen and white blood cell production. The user also has the ability to elevate cortisol production, effectively reducing inflammation and halting bleeding from cuts.

Shufuku Kami: The user employs Kami Shibari to manipulate their hair follicles, utilizing the hair strings to stitch together any cuts on their body. At its most advanced level, the user can even use these hair strings to temporarily hold together injured internal organs, providing a basic form of first aid to minimize further damage. However, this method does not facilitate actual healing and is merely a temporary measure.

Elephantism: By triggering the pituitary gland in the brain, the user releases a surge of growth hormones, enabling them to double their body size or expand a limb to three times its normal size. While this proportionally enhances the user's area of effect capabilities for three turns, it reduces agility and mobility. The technique dwarfs the body on the following turn.

Rasotengai: This advanced technique enables the user to manipulate their body parts using strands of hair controlled through the Kami Shibari technique. By employing this method, the user gains the ability to manipulate their body akin to a marionette, enabling them to move unhindered despite paralysis, broken limbs, or other impediments to normal movement.

Kami Ningyō: By employing Kami Shibari, the user fastens hair strings onto the target's spine at the base of the neck, extending these strands to their limbs. With this connection established, the user gains the ability to manipulate the target's body to a certain degree, exerting control over their movements. Resistance to the hair's manipulation strength is one tier lower than the user's mastery level, while strength equal to the user's mastery level can break free from the hair's hold.

Kaioken: The Kaioken is a unique technique and mastered state within Life Return. By accelerating the heart rate, the user boosts blood flow and oxygenation throughout the body. This enhances the user's strength, speed, and damage output. However, at its maximum output, excessive use of high-ranking techniques risks rupturing blood vessels and harming the body. The technique boosts strength and speed by +10 for 5 turns, but then incurs a -10 penalty in those stats for the following 3 turns.

Hydra Kick: A super-fast combo that involves 3 kicks. Starting with a high kick aimed at the opponent’s face from either left or right. If connected a second kick follows from the opposite side and lastly from behind, the back of the head. A technique which is solely aimed at the brain of an opponent and to ‘shake’ it within the skull. Causes major concussion damage.

Metsu Hadou Rokuougan (Perish Flying Six King Gun):
A more advanced version of the Hadou Rokuougan involves imbuing the move with haki while forming the attack. This in turn causes the energy to twist and shift into a dark purple like colour. The added power results in a much more powerful move and perhaps the strongest attack in Kallavan's arsenal which leaves him drained for quite some time afterwards. Many have commented that in many cases this is Kallavan's last resort attack. [ S+ Rank]

Big Bang Kamehameha (ビックバンかめはめ波 Biggu Ban Kamehameha, lit. "Big Bang Kamehame Wave"):
The user raises their hands and extends their palms in front of them, generating a colossal Big Bang Attack before channelling the tremendous energy of a Kamehameha forward, fusing the technique into the Big Bang Attack and launching it as a mighty energy blast/energy wave.

Hakai (破壊 Hakai, lit. "Destruction" ):
Kallavan's most powerful attack. In his hybrid form, Kallavan gathers every bit of power he can muster into his right fist, coating it black as well. The fist and arm physically trembling at the incredible might that is stored within the punch. After the required power has been gathered Kallavan delivers an incredibly powerful punch and smashes his target into the ground. The attack appears to compile the strength from all of Kallavan's rokuougan variants into one over-encompassing punch.

The impact of this smash is so strong that, upon striking, the wind pressure created from its delivery left a massive crater in the ground and spawned a twister strong enough to carry nearby buildings. Causing mass destruction on a scale unseen to everything around him, including Kallavan himself. The punch is on such a scale that the shockwave rebounds back into him, draining him of almost every resource in his body but also wounding him to a life-threatening degree. Because of that Kallavan has simply labelled this punch, Hakai. For it destroys everything around him, including himself.

The Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu is a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to transform into a hybrid and full version of an Azure Dragon at will. It was eaten by Kallavan after he claimed it by defeating Yonkou Kaido.
Flame Clouds (焔雲 Homura-gumo?): Through incredible skill and mastery. Kallavan can summon these clouds without the need to transform into either his hybrid mode or full Zoan mode. Giving him its powers at any desirable moment. More often than not Kallavan uses it to don himself a cloak of these red flames.

This, in turn, allows him to manipulate and shift these flames into large hands and arms. While not able to lift massive mountains or other large objects. He can throw rocks and defend with them, granted he bolsters them with haki otherwise the clouds act like normal flames.
Bolo Breath (熱息(ボロブレス) Boro Buresu, literally meaning "Heat Breath"): Kallavan's signature attack. He gathers fire inside his mouth before "breathing" it out into a huge, conical blast toward his target of choice. This blast travels rapidly (in the anime covering a tremendous distance within moments) and is extremely powerful. It can instantly decimate a large structure (like a castle's ruins) while leaving the surrounding terrain (like a mountaintop) blown to bits and scorched.

Kaifu (壊風 Kaifū?, literally meaning "Demolishing Wind"): An attack where Kallavan blows strongly, thereby creating powerful, crescent wind blades that can easily cut through solid stone as well as human bodies.

Tatsumaki (龍巻 Tatsumaki?, literally meaning "Dragon Twister"): Kallavan spins his serpentine body into a coil to summon several tornadoes around him. Because of their wind speed, these tornadoes can pull people away from the ground and within Kallavan's range in midair, where he may chomp down on them.

Tatsumaki Kaifu (龍巻壊風 Tatsumaki Kaifū?, literally meaning "Dragon Twister Demolishing Wind"): An attack that combines Tatsumaki and Kaifu. Kallavan spins the lower portion of his elongated dragon body at great speeds, simulating a tornado himself. He then blows crescent wind blades towards his own spinning body, making the blades fly unpredictably in various directions.

Kaen Daiko (火龍大炬(かえんダイコ) Kaen Daiko?, literally meaning "Fire Dragon Great Torch"): Kallavan breathes a large number of flames from his mouth, forming a giant fire dragon over his original dragon body. The heat of his fire dragon near-instantly melts everything that it comes into contact with, preventing opponents from touching Kallavan

Goro Breath: Another application of Kallavan's signature attack. Instead of gathering fire inside his mouth, he does so with an electrical discharge.

Ryu no Ibuki (竜の息吹 Ryū no Ibuki?, literally meaning "Dragon's Breath"): Kallavan puts his clenched fist into the ground while imbuing them with Hasshoken. He then pushes them into the floor, creating an immense impact and centred all-directional fissure. Through this fissure Kallavan injects his flame cloud, allowing him to lift several pieces of rock or other substance at once.

Rasengan:
By focusing the veil of wind that is present around him to the palm of his hand, Kallavan can shape a continuously spinning orb that can devastate an opponent.

Kaien Daiko Kakusei
Kallavan's final form. The Marine in his Kaien Daiko form enters his awakened state, igniting the common ribbons and black fog-like smoke. With his entire body now ablaze and granted the benefit of awakened recovery this form allows Kallavan to unleash true carnage. The form itself also significantly alters the look of Kallavan's dragon zoan form. The hardened lava creates a blazing hot armour of some sort which deters one-versus fights and those foolish enough to try it would damage themselves in the process.

Hellfire: Kallavan produces a massive wall of fire that he can erect in front of him or push forward towards his opponent.

Blue Fire: An elevated version of the already present flames. In his awoken mode, Kallavan can switch to blue fire making it burn much hotter. But this fire goes beyond the limit of what he can handle. Even in his awakened state. As such he can only use these flames sparingly.

Prominence Burns!: Uses the full might of his flames to emit a concentrated beam of heat from his body that is used to vaporize his target.

While in his Awoken form, Kallavan combines all of his elemental powers into one massive beam that puts even the regular Boro breath to shame. Truly an eraser cannon in most cases.

*Zetta Flare
A true end-it attack. With the last vestiges of power remaining in Kallavan's awoken state, he channels nearly everything inside of his body. From that nearly insurmountable amount of energy, Kallavan even burns his own life essence. Much like the Kikoho this attack turns every facet of Kallavan's being into a death beam that flies towards his designated target. The impact and destruction, are easily capable of scorching and erasing any life it finds.

Hasshoken: Kaen Daiko
Is a unique martial art that can only be accessed once Kallavan activates his Kaen Daiko form while in his hybrid or in his Awakened form. In this form, Kallavan can launch and 'throw' fire from his fists and feet. Combining this with Hasshoken Kallavan has created a fighting style unique to him. With the highly intense heat and shockwave-like energy, this in essence grants Kallavan the ability to use an explosion fist.

Stun Grenade: creates a sphere of light between his hands that explodes into a large-scale flash. Similarly to the effect of an actual stun grenade, the flash of light blinds anyone close by.

Light Grenade: The user puts their hands together in front of them as they charge a yellow energy sphere in their hands. Then, they bring their hands forward and fire the energy sphere, inflicting a massive amount of damage.

*Big Bang Attack:
In order to perform it, Kallavan extends his arm, opens his palm and turns his hand up at a 90 degree angle. He then condenses his hasshoken energy in his palm and launches a fire blast that proceeds to detonate in a massive explosion.

Hanten Haoshoku no haki [ Reverse Kings haki]

A unique application of Haki is demonstrated by Kallavan, who is currently its sole user. While the fundamental purpose of Haoshoku no Haki is to dominate and incapacitate one's opponent(s), Kallavan has discovered a method to reverse this phenomenon. By employing King's Haki on his own incapacitated subordinates, the Admiral can counteract the effects of enemy domination, granting them temporary resistance to the specific enemy's King's Haki techniques. This resistance is brief, lasting only for three turns, during which they cannot be rendered unconscious

By forcing advanced kings haki in both hands combined with regular armaments the user can push forward these two energies in a very powerful shield.

An extremely advanced Haki technique, Leo imbues his fist with both Busou-shoku no Haki and advanced Conqueror's Haki. Then, with a powerful punch, he unleashes the Haki itself in the form of a massive Haki blast. Rank: S+.

Emperor's Mail

The intensity of Kallavan's enhanced king's haki also acts as a sort of armour, making it incredibly difficult for him to be harmed by anyone not at least at his level of power. Black lightning coats the user when donning this armour and instils a debuff on opponents who fall in their knock-out range when trying to attack the user. One can see this as a full-body version but with King's haki.

The Immortal Words are a set of rules which the members of Fox Hound live by and will guide them throughout their journeys while also giving them strength in certain key situations. These ideals are based on the lessons taught by a certain book called The Way of Kings.

There are five Ideals. The First Ideal is the motto of Fox Hound and is shared by all members. The four later Ideals were said to be different for each individual member, based on their own way of living and personality. Kallavan, however, suspects that it is preordained which path of Ideals one follows. So far all of Kallavan's officers have reached the level of knowing the First Ideal.


  • Life before death - One seeks to defend life, always. He never kills unnecessarily, and never risks his own life for frivolous reasons. Living is harder than dying. It is one's duty is to live.​
  • Strength before weakness - All men are weak at some time in their lives. The Individual protects those who are weak, and uses his strength for others. Strength does not make one capable of rule; it makes one capable of service.​
  • Journey before destination - There are always several ways to achieve a goal. Failure is preferable to winning through unjust means. Protecting ten innocents is not worth killing one. In the end, all men die. How you lived will be far more important than what you accomplished.​
