You talking about me?Weak soul
Ho! We can make no claiming a thing now for ToS!Rule 7. Do not post the role given to you in the game thread, (this is relative to Rule #3). You are however allowed to say who you are, unless Host has specified a no claiming rule.
I say we Lynch and target Rak from now onright??
YesAnyone up for the last trad game on OJ? We need 2 more players
Sign up then!
I think he already didSign up then!
Cuz OJs end for some reason takes its time some events still happen on OJ too for the anniversary.Everything is moving so slowly man.....
Do I still need to follow this basic 15 players setup for first time hosting or can I take other simple and popular 15 players setup. For example from the wiki. You may sign up to host ToS games in the calendar, games there will start September 1st.
It will still be the standard one since it covers most of the important roles.Do I still need to follow this basic 15 players setup for first time hosting or can I take other simple and popular 15 players setup. For example from the wiki.
Ah ok. I snooped around and saw stuff being possible... q.qIt will still be the standard one since it covers most of the important roles.
I have made exceptions for games that don't count towards the calendar. Calendar games will be the standard same ol things you guys are use to. Honestly, until we are up and running pretty decent I might limit what experimental things we do in games, however, in the rules of hosting you will see that I'm not completely again special rules, I just have to approve them first. I just want to be certain the rules would not hinder the fun of the players. Also which I would tell anyone who does get them approved, it has to be announced it's not following the standard.Ah ok. I have a final question regarding ToS.
If a setup says "one random town" or "one random neutral killing" does it mean those roles will be RNGd from the representative list or is it a choice by host?
Oh so I see, I have seen many mini ToS setups that have around 10-15 players. What do you personally think of some setups shown around the wiki and other ToS communities? I see you can have setups like Town vs Mafia (basic), Town vs Coven (basic), Town vs Neutral (this is more special but not uncommon), Mafia vs Coven vs Neutrals, Mafia vs Neutrals, Coven vs Neutrals (this are well known setups, but they don't appear as frequently). I just ask because most professional players already created "balanced" setups that have alternated gameplay due having uncasual setups.I have made exceptions for games that don't count towards the calendar. Hosts choice. I plan on making you guys a list of the ToS things that need to be RNG and the things that are completely up to the host, like say if the GF or CL die, these things should be done RNG. There is an official list of how it should be passed on but for the sake of everyone not having to remember small details like that when there is so much stuff to remember when it comes to TOS, I have made it RNG..
After you become approved, I don't mind any of the wiki versions they do officaly on BMG. I mean they might not all go well but at least the players, can say they weren't the ones who came up with xDDOh so I see, I have seen many mini ToS setups that have around 10-15 players. So my basic idea was to host one of those rarer setups (10-15 players) that have already been balanced out by others, but not specifically hinting which setup but let people snoop around the wiki for themselves for example.
I guess GA target is always RNG? I guess there might be special cases where you can force a GA on a certain faction for balancement reasons?
Else I don't know I figured out one can only learn the most, if you had your hands on such roles and hosted those.
Okay, thanks for this detailled answer! I think I have no questions left. A rainbow setup tho, sounds like super much fun! xDAfter you become approved, I don't mind any of the wiki versions they do officaly on BMG. I don't recommend games less than 15, the balance becomes to difficult unless you plan on doing something like a rainbow games and i can see that actually work out on a smaller game.
The set up we use while you are becoming approved is just so it covers most of the basic roles and so you can show you have an understanding on how the game works. The "Chaos" game you have free reign on though even though being coached, we would just tell you if we didn't think certain things were a good idea when you show us the set up, if we see anything that might hurt the game.
They are the one that runs the online version of the game.Okay, thanks for this detailled answer! I think I have no questions left. A rainbow setup tho, sounds like super much fun! xD
And whats BMG?
I see I see, I watched a ranked ToS game on youtube where they had 3 arsos and 2 were left in the end with a jester, mafia and mayor and then people weren't managing to get peole lynched in the lynchscene because they couldn't find out anything. So I found out that Arso spamming became quite popular in setups on ToS.They are the one that runs the online version of the game.
I played a rainbow set up, I believe I got the first SK (shared with someone else) on OJ.
