Interesting. I watched Initial D when I was younger but totally forgot about it since it's very loooooong time ago. Might need a lil refersher before touching a sequel.

No. That's the time I stopped everything about manga and anime.

I think it was really long hiatus after 4th stage. The 5th stage came out on 2012 til 2013 then the final stage on 2014. The final stage is basically only the final battle of Takumi which is the longest race in the series, 4 episodes :blobsweatwipe:
