Momonosuke still can't summon the flame clouds to move Onigashima.

Back to Luffy's fight, he used "Gomu Gomu no Thunderbolt." He grabbed lightning and threw it like a spear at Kaido.
Kaido dodged it and hit Luffy. Luffy tanked it, grabbed another lightning to spin around it and launch at Kaido.
Kaido hit Luffy again. This time, Luffy bounced from the ground and launch at Kaido just to take another hit "Death Destroyer Thunder Bagua."
In the middle of the fight, Kaido mentioned that a strong DF isn't enough to conquer the sea. It's all about haki and that's how Roger became the PK.

Luffy got sent to the clouds above, but his left hand is grabbing Kaido's chest.
Kaido transformed into his dragon form and attack Luffy with "Dragon Twister Demolition Brath" because Luffy is still weak against slash type attacks.
He followed up with "Blast Breath" which burnt Luffy like a well done steak.

Meanwhile at the Flower capital, everyone are watching their lanterns float to the sky, as the festival is coming to an end.
At the Dome Interior, Hyogoro noticed that Onigashima falling means Kaido is close to his defeat.
He and the rest of the samurai don't mind falling to their deaths if that means Kaido is defeated.
At Treasure Repository, Orochi transformed into his zoan form after the seastone nail came loose thanks to the tremor. He only has 1 head left.

Back to Luffy's fight, he yelled to Momo to move Onigashima away because he is going to end the fight.
The chapter ends with an epic panel of Luffy's right hand, with the size bigger than Onigashima, floating in the thunderclouds, coated in advance CoC & CoA.
Kaido looks like a flying worm ready to get smacked.

Dayum what a chapter. I love everything the only thing that bothers me: In that one page we saw a mini timeskip where we first saw Kaido hybrid and a panel later Kaido full dragon. That was very confusing and looked inconsistent.
Outside of that sick cliffhanger :3

Ah I see. Still a shame though, if true, I really want to see what awakening with a regular zoan looks like. The ID beasts look incomplete awakenings in my opinion.

This to me was the most hype. I always held out hope Roger also had the Gomu, given Roger/Luffy parallels. But this is great!
