Literally me when writing this theory

So guys welcome to my second Onigashima theory. Chapter 983 brought us great new informations and directions to tackle. I see the current chapter as example, as a message from Oda telling us that he will resolve all parental conflicts existing in One Piece, atleast the open ones. Currently we have several open parental conflicts, even Luffy - Dragon, Usopp - Yasopp; but I don't want to go into depth with them.
Oda pointed in this chapter to more recent events.

The most evolved one, out of the recent ones is Perospero and his unique relationship with Big Mom, he acompanied her during WCI and observed her. He used methods to direct her and so on, we are all familair and well, Perospero not approving of the alliance Linlin went into tells us enough about his role on Wano. He will stop this alliance, or he will try to direct Linlin again. His mayor objective is to make the Big Mom Pirates the last ones standing.

I believe this is a huge statement and I think Oda will fulfill this one, but before I get into this, I would like point out a certain "plot hole" if you would like to call it during WCI. It is maybe even more a "Red Herring" than Plot Hole.

Back then in chapter 873, Oda threatened a Death Flag over Perosperos when he manipulated Linlin with a lie. This caused the big chase on the WCI territories and tbh...every fan here was thinking that Perosperos deserved the Death Flag because he then was the cause of Pedro's Death.
Perospero's Death Flag was a Red Herring and the above screenshot-scene shows a Feint by Oda. Is it really a Feint?

Another Feint on WCI was supposedly Pound's death by Oven. Yes, the recent chapters proved Pound to be alive and the parental relationship with Lola and Chiffon can be resolved.

This what I meant, Oda won't leave this conflicts out unresolved, it will all be important to understand how Oda will resolve future conflicts, to make them better understandable. I think the same will be with Linlin and Perospero. I believe that Linlin will kill Perospero on Onigashima because he will turn against her and she will sense harmful intend from him, Linlin's consciousness might play a role here, but I don't want to speculate about this here.

So this chapter was packed with alot of stuff, also we know more about the Yamato - Kaido relationship. See the parallels?
  • Linlin and Perospero are opposing each other, they seemingly might not share the same ideals since the outbreak of events on WCI.
  • Yamato and Kaido are opposing each other, they have a rough relationship where Kaido seemingly punishes Yamato. Events might go back to Oden's era.
With the recent chapter Oda tackled three plotlines: Lola/Perospero/Yamato all revolving around parental and children conflicts. Oda did this on purpose because I think this is a crucial build up that will be core to the emotional stages of the whole Onigashima war.

So the conclusion would be:
I think the current hints and parallels might lead to Perospero trying to direct Linlin again, he will reactivate a proper Death Flag and this time all the build up from WCI will make sense - Perospero will get his punishment.
And yes I am willed to take this theory further! Perosperos words will come true, I believe only Linlin and Perospero might fall in this arc, they are the Big Mom Pirates' casualties in this war and the rest will emerge victorious (alive) alongside the other fighters and spectators, being left with no other option than subduing the winner of the war (Luffy), ergo drawing the subduing parallel between Yonkos and Luffy.

This would tie in to the first part of the series where Luffy now can start to convince opponents, so they can be subdued at the end of the arc or during the post Wano arc.
