Signed in tears.
Sealed with frustration.
Stamped in hope.
Delivered with faith.

Enough with all the talk!
With paper comes a peace
Provide nourishment
So everyone can eat.
I began with straw men
Always Hollow and hungry
I saw them fight over food
But never nourished their tummies.
That was the beginning.
Next was frostbitten souls.
They accepted blankets for themselves
But gladly threw others into the cold.
Now I sit with clouds at eye level
And it’s lonely I attest.
But attempts escape
Will leave me in ocean’s depth.
That’s a permanent rest!
Peace of paper...
I do this every night.
Drink oceans from bottles
And in the mirror see spite.
For these visions
Ive refused to rest.
Lest my soul be frostbitten
Or join hollowness.
Apologies in advanced
I’m running out of time.
If this isn’t encrypted
I’ll appear out of my mind.
Peace of paper...
Here’s the splendor.
Tear it all up
And try to find pleasure.
This was always your treasure.
Peace of paper...
Piece of cake!
Hit points like water vapor
That’s how I throw around weight.
It all slowly soaks in
And with time weighs more.
A troubled mind is a disease.
This is my attempt at a cure.
And if this is hated
May you wring out your shirt.
And provide water to seeds
That means I’ve done my work.
And when that water vapor hits
I hope you know its origin
It was either vivid hope
And pure joy, Or it’s gin.
And wherever hope has been.
“But why discuss the harsher point
And focus less on the cure?”
Because a disease can come back
If the root isn’t accounted for.
I sit here and ponder
If in the end this will be of worth
Or if all this struggle
Will be make me numb until dirt?
Sometimes I let it all simmer
What’s the point if you can’t feel?
My biggest fear in life
Is that none of this is real.
Peace of paper...
Piece of paper.
Please.
Take a shred.
Save it for later.
