We know sabo and others fought Admiral Greenbull and fujitora. The standard would have been they were caught and sentenced to death .
Wrong
The reaction of Dragon , Dadan were more of disappointment than apparent death news.
I think sabo's lineage is something we need to look at. We know he is heir to Goa kingdom . We have an idea stelly did something awful to kill sabo's parents.
So whats the deal here ?
Stelly angered Gorosei? Its possible we saw the panel stelly wanted to sit on the throne and he probably disobeyed the command and sat on it.
Gorosei did not like how he behaved so they likely planted sabo's story as he betrayed revolutionary to officially join the World Govt.
I know it doesnt make sense but there is more to it captured sabo probably is blackmailed to carry the act and use it to declare cobra was traitor and is behind the reverie attack along with dragon.
This not only jeopardizes Revolutionary 's plan but WG played one on Dragon will be forced to come out.
With vivi and her dad lives in threat ,Sabo was forced to do it because of Im and Gorosei. Its possible Cobra figured out Im's identity .
Its just theory but i think no one died so far. I can see sabo fake betryal plot will be used by oda .
