The sun shone down the sky blue waters of East Blue. Hovering seagulls could be seen mid-air as they gently flirted with the wind, shifting their wings from widespread to flapping them rapidly. Above, you'd see fine clouds that barely stayed intact as they were easily dispersed.
Afloat the sea was a Marine ship smaller than the standard ones. It had a notable Marines marking and seagull logo on its foresail spritsail. On the topsail, it had the name of the shipowner. The sails are knotted tightly around the ship's two masts. While it did not have any special features, it had an unusual color scheme. The top half of the hull was shared by horizontal fillings of black and pink. The deckhouse was more baby as baby pink and all the railings were as pure white as the blouse Lt. Commander Fubuki of the 199th Branch, the commander of the vessel was wearing.
Standing straight and arms crossed on the ship bow. She is slim and has a curvaceous figure. She has chin-length, dark green hair styled into a bob, and her eyes are light green. She was wearing a long white fur marine coat, a dark green form-fitting dress, thigh-high black boots, and several necklaces.
"Rem! Any news?", She firmly and quite loudly spoke as she turned to the crow's nest.
Then a girl with short blue hair which bangs slightly covering her right eyes and who was wearing a sailor uniform appeared, smiling. "Lady Fubuki! I saw an island right there. B-b-but it's way too far.", she responded while surveying the area with her binoculars and speaking in a very sweet teenage voice while pointing her index finger towards that location.
"Very well Rem! We need to dock there immediately.", Fubuki responded.
Actually, it's not the island that I am so worried about. It's the way to get there.

# It has been two months since Shaarib and his crew left Fishman Island for the weakest sea in the blues. Everything was going accordingly, he received Sengoku's blessing to attack Dressrosa already. He had the man power to take control of the island but before doing anything Shaarib wanted to take advantage of the piracy life a little. He needed to take his revenge on a certain crew and then confirm with some big shots how far he advanced since leaving the corps.
So what exactly was he doing in East Blue ? East Blue is where Shaarib began his adventure as a Marine captain, East Blue was where he arrested his first big pirates and where he received one of his worst humiliation. The 169th wasn't able to save the people on Kokoyashi and decided to evacuate the village because they weren't strong enough to take on Arlong's and his men. Today Shaarib will respect the promise he made. Today, he was going to take the same path to Arlong's Park they took years ago and he wasn't going to leave until everyone there died.#
