Synopse:
Gol D. Roger, a man referred to as the "Pirate King," is set to be executed by the World Government. But just before his demise, he confirms the existence of a great treasure, One Piece, located somewhere within the vast ocean known as the Grand Line. Announcing that One Piece can be claimed by anyone worthy enough to reach it, the Pirate King is executed and the Great Age of Pirates begins.

Twenty-two years later, a young man by the name of Monkey D. Luffy is ready to embark on his own adventure, searching for One Piece and striving to become the new Pirate King. Armed with just a straw hat, a small boat, and an elastic body, he sets out on a fantastic journey to gather his own crew and a worthy ship that will take them across the Grand Line to claim the greatest status on the high seas.

I just gotta say, I have always ALWAYS hated the one piece anime animation style.... on average, barring some key moments where they obviously invested more resources, the quality has always really bothered me. It just seemed so unnecessarily sloppy? Like, it's 2019, and nothing looks that sloppy anymore... why does the most popular and highest earning franchise in the industry need to? WELL WHOLLY SMOKES!!!! WANO CHANGES EVERYTHING. I feel like they finally figured their shit out and stepped out of the dark ages and into the light of shows like Mob Psycho 100 or Attack on Titan or JoJo. I am beside myself in utter joy. I had kinda just resigned myself to never being able to just really get lost in an episode of One Piece the way I can in a chapter... but wow I am getting lost in these Wano episodes! The new art direction and animation strategies are INCREDIBLE. I am so so so happy about the switch. <33333

its all so pretty! the colors are richer, the thicker outlines that look almost brush-like, more of a sense of atmosphere in backgrounds--the list just goes on and on for me. The way luffy's legs stretched while fighting the beast pirate goons was also really expressive and cool looking. AND OMFG O-TAMA IS SO EFFING CUTE!!!!!!

The anime right now looks more promising than ever, they also seem to handle offpanel stuff well. Aslong the filler focus on offpanel stuff I am satisfied.
Sadly we get 2 fillers right after the Tama x Ace reveal >.<

I stopped watching in dressrosa and I started again in Wano. The animation is quite good now ?

Hmm let's see. I watched the opening song amd it's really nice. Hiyori is such a beauty and Nami, too. I wanna see the raid suit in animation so may be paying a watch soon.

The animation for Wano looks really neat and smooth. It feels like an entirely new anime. The opening though has way too many spoilers.

They even spoiled the Stealth black suit. At least they didn't include the page one and Kamazou fights in the opening lol.

I was in total shock when I saw SBS in that opening lol. I wa like, "for real?! But wow! That's solid". It's Sanji after all. I am not a fan btw.

It's spoilers indeed but I dunno, I started One Piece as anime only and was quite hyped everytime there was a spoiler in the opening because I couldn't wait till the anime get to that point and I could see what it was about.

It's fine to have spoilers in the opening, but they should be careful with it.

Yea I can identify with that. The enies Lobby arc had an opening that featured Luffy unleashing gear 2nd even before he fought Blueno. That one got me really hyped.

Enies Lobby opening is so good!!! One of my favorites of all time. I enjoyed the spoilers in there cuz it made the arc a lot more fun to watch and hyped so much.
