ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1025 QUICK SUMMARY
At the rooftop, we see Yamato and Kaido after their last "Thunder Bagua" clash.
Yamato used "Kagami Yama", a defensive ability that covered her body with a layer of mirrors.
She then leaped and smacked Kaido's face to the ground with "Himorogiri."
Kaido got back up and continued the fight while arguing.
In their arguments, Kaido mentioned that Yamato is the offspring of an "Oni", and forming friendship with human is beneath her.

Outside of Wano, Luffy had arguments with Momo because the later didn't fly thanks to his fear of heights.
Momo eventually managed to fly, but he had to close his eyes.
Thanks to that, he accidentally broke into the live floor which shocked everyone. No one expected to see another dragon besides Kaido.
He went further up until he reached the rooftop, where we see Yamato preparing her next attack.
Luffy transformed into Gear 4th and used "Jet Culverin" alongside Yamato's "White Snake Rush."
Kaido was surprised to see Luffy and another dragon. He then transformed into his dragon form, preparing for another clash.

For me its quite impressive to see Vegapunk really managed to clone Kaidous DF.

It also seems like Momo have better control now. really wanna See the difference between These 2 fruits.

Luffy now being able to utilite CoC also while using G4 was expected and is great too, nice double attack with Yamato. Also Yamato is more powerful then Inexpected. Thought she would being defeated at then end of chapter 1024.


I really like that everyone was confused about a ramoaging Dragon in Onigashima. Moos fears of heights causing a lot of confusion is great.
Really wanna see CP0 reactions.

On the topic of Vegapunk's artificial fruits, I'm still intrigued by the shattered container seen opposite the one where Momo apparently discovered Veapunk's dragon fruit.

Can't help but wonder if Vegapunk managed to succeed in also creating an artificial Ancient Giant fruit....or crazier still, an artificial Kaido fruit haha.

And if so, who got their on hands on it?

There is a possibility that the new forces assembled by the WG to replace the Shicibukai are related to Kaido's clone DF.

Really wanna see CP0 reactions.

Yeah, and I'm waiting for them to make a move.
What has been bothering my mind is whether Kaido and BM know that CP0 have been spectating this war.
If they do, it's a bit uncanny that Kaido wouldn't do anything to them.

Maybe. Sky's the limit when you bring cloning into the picture.

May even be why the SSG and not regular marines were sent after Lola and Chiffon: hoping to collect some Big Mom DNA in order to produce some Big Mom clones too?

I've funny feeling we're going to be seeing Clone Wars breaking out between the WG and another party very soon.

We know Vegapunk was able to copy the power of Borsalinos fruit. First I thought he was able to create a weapon resembling Borsalinos Power, but now I think Vegapunk cloned Borsalinos power and implemented it.

I dunno. Franky seemingly gained his laser thanks to studying Vegapunk's notes, and we've got Queen packing them too, so it raises some doubts about the DNA theory.

Not saying I necessarily discount it. I've had some ideas of my own concerning the possibility of Lineage Factor allowing the "sharing" of DF abilities through specific means, so maybe? Only thing is, why not equip the Pacifistas with Paw Paw abilities too then? Too soon to reveal?

Would be kinda funny though if turned out Franky and/or Queen managed to invent true laser technology compared to Vegapunk kinda cheating in a way. Even funnier in Franky's case, since he'd presumably have worked off Vegapunk's own notes. Would make for a hilarious gag if he had just somehow stumbled onto the secret somehow without realizing it, leading to a Vegapunk Enel face.

I got into the DNA idea during Wano after one could figure out that VP used lineage factor to Clone the DF power of Kaidou.

Sure its possible that the Laser is artificial like the one of Franky or Queen, but since it was compared to Borsalinos abilities I think it could really refer to lineage factor.

This may result in SSG have the power of different fruits and maybe even multiple fruits at once.

I just realized something iirc Kuzan went to pick up something from Punk Hazard. If that's the case he might've went there searching for the artificial dragon fruit thinking it wasn't a failure as claimed

what if he managed to clone kaido and other strong pirates and gave them all different devil fruits which he also copied?
imagine all those famous clone pirates with sick fruits. .

While I'm leaning towards the SSG replicating certain abilities to some extent through purely science-based means, I can't discount the possibilities of things going down this avenue either. In fact, given what we've seen in terms of what tone dials can do and their nature, wouldn't be farfetched to see how the SSG could end up brandishing their own version of tone dials, ie using a biological base -- just as tone dials are created using seashells apparently. So we could see exactly what you've outlined.

Another idea that's popped into mind is one I think some scientist would see as a no-brainer, in terms of devising a means to steal devil fruits: if devil fruit spirits hop into the nearest fruit, then it's simple; splice human lineage factor with that of plant life in a way to create virtual living containers for capturing df abilities. Basically, create living devil fruits by having said creations kill and/or be close by at hand in the event of an ability user being killed.

It need not go any one route, I don't think, which is set to become a core overriding theme as we proceed. That, and I foresee another prominent theme of Spiraling Escalation intensifying going forward as we witness a shitload of new technologies and concepts being thrown at us in quick succession as tensions and conflict continues seething to a boil; war does have a propensity to springboard a vast array of new advancements after all, for better or worse.

what do you guys think Kaido's awakening?
do you think some of the tobi ropos or even yamato has awakened the fruits?

I'm expecting Kaido his top brass to all either reveal Awakening or achieve some equivalent using artificial means. Oda brought up the possibility that Black Mariah was using some kinda drug similar to Chopper's Rumble Balls to assume her non-traditional hybrid form in the latest SBS. Could've just been intended as offhand fluff meant to cover for artistic license...but I find it's unwise to dismiss such things. So, any top Beast Pirates that haven't achieved Awakening on their own, I see them popping some pill or some flunkies administering it to them.

I'm still all in on the Raid failing.
