from what i've heard its a good run but some are saying "wtf" and prefer the hickmans run as we all know hickman is the best at what he does.
Yeah I'm not a big fan of it myself but I just don't think Hulk is that great of a character on his own, he works best as the muscle in team books imo lol

But based on how his run is regarded, I'm willing his Avengers/F4 event a try.

He really shouldn't be, Hickman has changed him a little as if this was Realm of the Kings Vulcan, he would have killed Wolverine then tried to kill his brother and dipped to Shi'ar
Imo I prefer him like that, he is at peace.
How will he kill Cyclops ? They can’t hurt each other.

Didn't you know Vulcan almost killed Hope and Prof. Xavier at the end of Genesis

imo i want Classic Vulcan not this bitch version tbf, i want him to go back to Emperor Vulcan, not playing bub since he's an Omega Level Mutant

I know how powerful he is. But the Summers brothers powers don’t affect each other.

They do as Vulcan removed the goggles of Cyclops and he couldn't use his powers on Vulcan and said something that should anyone try anything he will stop and have Cyclops kill Hope or Hope kills Cyclops.

Also Vulcan pummeled Cyclops and captured him too

My bad i got the wrong summers, it was Rachel Summers not Hope.

Read it here though have you read Giant Size X-Men?
I began reading X-Men comics in what ? 16’ iirc. Although I read some old issues. Most of my knowledge on X-men is from the old series on CN or Video Games or even Wikipedia, I would check on Wolvie from time to time. T^T

I'm not super familiar with the Skrulls or Kree outside of the basics tbh as I've always found it hard to jump into Marvel Comics, Hickman made it pretty easy for the X-Men side of things and I'm using Incoming for the rest lol

I hadn't even heard of Hulkling until I read it. Al Ewing has been getting a lot of praise for his Immortal Hulk run though so it's probably worth giving a shot imo lol
It was a pretty solid run until he made it super political and it just became a meme. Still a good run up until then. You should still check it out for what it is.

The Shi'ar's need Emperor Vulcan and relegate Gladtiaor as his number 2, as after Vulcan got brought back his memories should return too.

I hope this time he murders Blackbolt and the useless Inhumans
I forgot about the Shi'ar for a moment.... and I love me some Vulcan. I always wanted all three Summers brothers just doing their thing (or a return of X-Man since he had the cool anime Future Trunks vibe), but that sounds way better than anything I thought up.

You need to be at Marvel lad.

Quick question though? Does anyone recommend Thor? I've been hearing a lot of mixed stuff on it and ik that character has had a history of having a roller coaster when it comes to runs (good-bad-good-bad... like seasons of Heroes).

shame i am more invested into DC Comics and Independent > Marvel lol

There are plenty of die hard X-Men and Classic Marvel fans out there, those who are more knowledgeable than myself.

Which Thor are you referring too?

I don’t why but the more I read Thor issues or comics with Thor, the more I hate him. The man is mighty in one issue and in the next one, someone will stomp him. :feelslaserman:

Then you have Rune King Thor who is all high and mighty then the next one he gets decimated and is no longer worthy lol

In one if the issues of Captain Marvel she beat the crap out of him. Yes she is strong but they don’t fight in same tier. She even send Mjolnir so far away Thor couldn’t call it back. What type of bull is that ?

Basically, Thor was kinda okay with Stan Lee, then he kinda teetered out until Walt Simonson... then he got ruined b/c of the 90s with Thunderstrike... then he eventually got a solid run with JMS (until JMS couldn't stand doing any more events)... and there was a couple of neat Young Thor stories (way better than young Namor imo) and finally Jason Aaron had some on and off good and bad runs (some hit, some miss.. that's all I'm going to say there). That's just the vibe I'm getting that Thor will occasionally get misunderstood or misused for a while... like how no one really knows how to write WW except for maybe George Perez, Gail Simone and Dwayne McDuffie. Like they are both big characters that hit the mainstream, but never get consistent love in their books.

Peter David had a neat run with Hulk. I think he even did a mini or collection of it called Tempest Fugit

His omni just came out too, heard its a pretty good too.

the problem i only see is when the last writer puts them on a high pedestal, then readers expect the same consistency but its never true when it concerns main characters like WW or Thor. But when you get writers on lesser known characters such as Vision or Mr Miracle (Tom King runs) then you can take the character to new heights.

I get there's many multiverses and etc. but we get far too much emphasis on Batman/Superman/Joker in DC and Deadpool(i'll be the first to say i hate the shit out of the character the moment he became mainstream), Avengers, Iron Man(this guy in the MCU wonder why it took 4 damn avengers movies and yet not one person could kill the fool) and here and there with some.

You should check out the current run, I mean it's only one issue so far but it seems different and he gets a massive power upgrade lol

Let's just say he becomes a herald of a certain giant purple guy :ROFLMAO:

Tynion's first Batman issue was such an improvement, first time I've actually been hyped for the next issue since Snyder's run lol
