Damn! I didn't know Gigi was part of that crash. Holy shit! How painful would it be losing 2 family members at once.

@Brix, ai agree with you. Let's just appreciate greatness. We grow up when we began to love our toughest opponents.

She was only 13 and also loved basketball just like her dad. I can't Imagine the pain the Bryant family are feeling right now. Condolences.

I will still criticize players if they do some stupid plays or something. But I will stop hating.

Gigi's passing hurt me more tbh. Kobe won individual awards and championships, got married, had four children. Gigi didn't get to live her life. She had a bright future of her. I am heartbroken for the Bryant family.
With all the players working out with Kobe after he retired and winning an Oscar, it looked like he was gonna be the most likeable and successful retired player since Magic, maybe even more. MJ is the richest but he hasn't been successful when it comes to running his own NBA team. Like everything Kobe touched, like Magic before he became Lakers president, turned gold. I loved his Detail show on ESPN.

His daughter Gigi, on the other hand, wanted to continue his legacy of being a great basketball player for women, enrolling to the most successful college women's basketball team at UConn and becoming the face of the WNBA. Kobe was so proud of her that he didn't need a son to continue that to the NBA. She's also the one who got Kobe to watch basketball again and he was becoming the greatest teacher for every player playing the game.

It was great seeing them in games, which wasn't too long ago just damn. Both were on the verge of doing a lot for men and especially women's basketball in the future since Kobe championed that and his daughter was gonna be a great player. It's tragic what happened not only for them but also for the other victims and their families. They just wanted to take their kids to play basketball.

Honestly, I didn't sleep much before this happened and I couldn't again after the fact. I still can't believe the headlines from everything I've watched. ?

Kobe wearing barong tagalog and dancing tinikling.

Probably his first Philippine visit around 1998.

@Noyman2000 @Gambit

That's awesome. It's probably his first visit here. I saw videos of him doing dunks in the Philippines around that same time (also 'fro #8 Kobe was best Kobe lol).

Although it's not just EG. From Trae to Booker, there are guys possessed with Mamba mentality after Kobe passed. Dame had 50 on the same day Kobe passed. Imagine what some of the other players are gonna do that were close to Kobe like Kyrie and LeBron.

We got Covington! Sad to see Capela go though.

Dame averaging 48 ppg these last few games :monkaH:
He's pulling a Harden! Beat us even! :pepeweird:

Speaking of...

I said in the old thread before the season started it would be ideal if they can somehow trade Wiggins + draft picks for D'Lo but I didn't believe it but Wiggs improved well enough that they managed to do it. Either he plays better now with Steph, Klay and Dray when they return or he goes back to being Andrew Wiggins. At least, this keeps KAT in Minny for a while.

If Devin Booker wants out of PHO in the future (they put Kelly Oubre on the trade block LOLSUNS), then holy shit watch out!

Back and forth game but Rockets stood TALL in the end. @novaselinenever Respect to you and the team. (y) Y'all fought well but came a LITTLE SHORT at the end. At least, Collison will join y'all soon since he was watching with Jeanie on the sidelines. He'll def. be a BIG plus. :pepeclown:

We SMALL but we BALL!

PJ Tucker is my hero! BEST CENTER IN THE LEAGUE!!!

Rockets win.

Yeah Booker was my next though lol. I figured the team who gets 2 out of the 3 first is most likely to get all 3 down the line 'cause they look like they want to team up definitely. Saw Kerr's interview about him, looks like they have an idea of what they want from him. He can be their Barnes regen next season if he has the head for it. Definitely has all the other stuff for it, could be a way better third option à la Barnes;

Lol Oubre had a carrer hight just after

Lol he was acting yesterday like he wasn't on the trading blocks for like 2 years. Acting like he was left in the dark and the whole speech about being a business

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I'm done watching this team while they still play Rondo and running some twin towers 2005 line ups :angrycrabs:

Lol poor Tucker, dude is going to finish this season like Delly in 2015. Going to the hospital after each game, after the nerve damage playing 35min per game, now center. Russ is playing out of his mind, such a threat for teams defending the perimeter heavily and doubling harden.

Yeah Collison was also having dinner pre-game with them, can't wait :pepeking:

Did you see the ending of Blazers Jazz lol? Shit is wild
