She continued walking. Only a few steps away now from where the island chief, his elders, and his two warriors, Ideo and Sancrin were and several guards. For they were all distracted by the champion, she took her chance. She ran towards the chief, the knife was drawn out in front of her in an underhand position. Aiming for his heart, she lunged, putting all her force, momentum, and weight behind the knife, she attacked.
11:33 A.M. on the Grand Plateau

Things had been going smoothly. The tournament was a success and smiles could be seen on nearly all of Kenzan's citizens, the clear favourite ended up the winner and had subsequently earned his way into the XXX Boxing Gym. But if Ideo had known there was a South Paw then he would automatically granted him entry and left the tournament open for others. So he had another idea, a battle royal open to anybody who wants to try impressing him first hand as he himself would be participating. He had just organised for his manager to prepare everything for his announcement when everything changed. In the blink of an eye and before Ideo, Sancrin or any of his surrounding guards could even notice it, the island Chief had been murdered. Stabbed in the heart from behind by a hooded girl, a slight whimper from the pain is the only reaction he can let out before fading but it's enough to notify the guards and the girl is immediately grabbed by them. Ideo tries to give the Chief medical treatment who still sits in his throne like seat except that it is now dripping blood into a pool below but he is too late so he drags his corpse out of sight to avoid panic from the people below.

“What should we do about her?” one of the guards asks Ideo, looking to him as the de facto leader now that the Chief is dead.

“Just take her to the cells for now, we'll think of an appropriate punishment for her later.” he replies, and the guards begin to escorting the girl towards the local jailhouse.

-Approximately an hour later after the murder-

"YIPPEE YAYAY! Ay, I'm feeling great!" a boisterous smile splattered across Drago's face as he jumped up and down on the deck. He stretched his legs and arms, feeling the built-up lactic acid dissipating from his muscles. "Oomph, yeah, oh yeah, OH YEEEEAAAH! Ooommm, oooom! That feels good!" The satisfied cyborg took attention to a crowd of pirates by the beach. Stepping to the rail, Drago had his boot on it, left elbow resting on his knee while leaning forward. He called out to Musashi "Ay, are you guys getting ready to infiltrate? Don't forget about me, your own substitute captain!"

The men on the beach were setting down small crates. Some of them were opened revealing weapons that several others were wielding. Slashing swords, knives, testing guns, etc. They surprisingly made little noise for a group of 10 pirates whacking and hacking at each other. It was a little past midday now, the sun still shone brightly from the top of the sky at the highest point it could reach. No cloud across the blue sky to block its rays. It wasn't a terribly hot day but it was hot enough to make you sweat by just standing outside. The beach was rather small only about a 15x20 meters piece of land. Some men had to take to the waters for their practicing.

A hand clasped Musahi's shoulder. He almost took out his knife from his vest until he realized who it was. A lean, tall cyborg stood behind him with a bright smile across his face. "You ready for this invasion Musashi?" Musashi nodded. "All men available are hot and ready. We're just waiting for you."

Drago stepped aside and eyed the pirates. Just 12 men, including myself and Musashi, to take over an entire island of people. I wouldn't have it any better. The cyborg's eyes narrowed when he spotted a missing man amongst the group. "Hey, Musashi, where is Link? I thought he'd be coming with us?"

"Link left on a boat while you were sleeping to take over another island. Larsi already knows and approves."

Drago was incredulous. The corners of his mouth shot up as his narrowed eyes narrowed even further like he was trying to make sense of what he was hearing. "What? On a boat, by himself. Man, alright. Whatever. Do you know what island?"

Musashi shook his head. Link hadn't told him apparently.

Drago walked to the steps that laid on the rocky cliffs, right next to the beach. Before he heads out, he took one last look at his men. "Silver Hair Pirates! Are you guys ready for some blunder, land, drinks, and many more wishes to be fulfilled?" A hearty AYE was the response. "Good. Follow me, men!"

Word had spread about the upcoming announcement from Ideo and nearly the whole population had begun to gather to hear him out but the recent assassination of the Island Chief had thrown a spanner in the works. He knew he would have to break the bad news to his fellow long-arms and he knew it would cause civil unrest but he believed he had come up with a solution that would put the crowd at ease. The leader of the XXX Gym will make his announcement thirty minutes from this moment. The final preparations were being made too as Sancrin was directing public servants in setting up a podium with a system of speakers and a Den Den Mushi microphone to make sure that his client would be heard.

"What the? Where is everyone?" The pirates, with their strong force of 12 men, marched into town. Weapons in their hands ready to swing it at anybody in their way. But to their own surprise, there was no opposition. There was not even a single person on the streets. The entire place looked about as deserted as a western ghost town. Tumbleweeds and all.

Drago eyed around. He was the cowboy in this ghost town. Confident but wary for many things can lie in wait in all this silence. He stood at the front of the group with Musashi, heads together discussing this...miscalculation.

"What do we do Drago? We were prepared for fighting. Bloodshed. Some sort of resistance. But what we have here..."

"I know, I know. I'm trying to figure it-"

*Scriff scraff. Scriff scraff. Scriff scraff* an unusual scraping on the ground alerted Drago's senses. His body instinctively shifted into a stance. One leg in front of the other, knees bent having him almost in a squat. Arms up, one above his chest, the other at the side of his stomach, ready to strike and block at an instant in case anything came at him. The cyborg's eyes darted around, much faster than a normal human eye, trying to find the source of this scraping. They landed on a scraggly old man. He was hunched, making him appear much shorter than he already was, looking to be only as tall as Drago's waist to legs. His right leg dragged behind him, causing that scraping sound. His back was to the pirates as if he never noticed them. He traveled at an abysmal pace into the heart of the town.

"Hey, you, old man!" No reply. "Old man!" Drago repeated, much louder this time. "OLD MAN!" Again no response. Is this man deaf? With his patience worn out, Drago zoomed over at an incredible speed, landing right in front of the old man. "Slow down, old horse. I have some questions if you don't mind. Where is everyone in the town at?"

The old man looked at Drago, unfazed. A witch-like, crooked smile plastered on his face. A smile that appears to be warm and innocent but lying underneath it would lay something sinister. The uneasiness in the air felt even stronger. And then a finger is lifted, slowly but surely pointing ahead. Not at Drago but past him.

"Is there anything be-"

"Ideo is making an announcement in the town square. Everyone is headed there." The old man croaked. It was like a frog speaking English for the first time. As soon as he was finished, the old man headed on his way.

"Er...thanks..." The pirate watched the old man go on his way. He backed up, going back to the group, refusing to remove his eyes off the man. This man is trouble. I don't think he's actually an old man at all.

"Alright, boys. Our new to be citizens are in the town square. Let's move out!"

1:30 P.M. on the Grand Plateau

And so, after an hour of delays due to the untimely death of Kenzan Island's Chief, the time had finally come for Ideo to make his big announcement. As he stands high above the Grand Plateau at his newly set up podium and he watches the many still festive citizens who he is due to address, he can't help but imagine what their possible reactions could be.

Ideo: ‘Will they mourn the loss of their Chief? Will they seek to avenge him? Or will they grasp the great opportunity I am about to present to them with open arms? What I am sure of is that Kenzan will need strong leadership, if it has to be me then so be it but I'd rather spend my time overseeing the growth of my gym.’

However this was all just simple curiosity and made zero impact on anything, his decision was already final and the only thing left was to announce it. He picks up the small Den Den Mushi from the podium, which transmits his throughout the entire Grand Plateau via a speaker system, and begins to speak in to it.

Ideo: “My fellow Long-Arms tribesmen, I apologize for the delays but it's important you all hear what I am about to tell you.

I'm sure most of you witnessed this morning's tournament, your local hero Rocky Balboa won but if I had known the true extent of his talents then he would never have been allowed into the tournament.....”

Before he can continue, the sound of boos echo throughout the plateau. When it finally dies down, he opts to clarify.

“You have it all wrong, he wouldn't be allowed to compete for the same reason I didn't compete. He would have automatically been granted membership into my XXX Gym. As a result I have to disqualify him as tournament winner and give the honour to the man he defeated in the final round, Apollo Creed, as he still put up a hell of a fight despite his clear disadvantage. Both men are now members of my gym.”

The crowd cheers and elebrates this good news, unaware that the worst of the news is yet to come.

“As for the rest, I had intended to stage a second chance exhibition but then tragedy struck and my plans were hindered. The Island Chief was murdered!!”

Ideo lets the reality sink in for a few minutes but everyone below is shocked. Warriors and fighters go from drinking and laughing to still and speechless. Children can be seen with tears dripping down their faces while their parents try comforting them by holding them tightly but, even as they try to stay strong for their kids, they are left just as shook up by the events. Even the small groups of people who opposed the chief's ways didn't exactly know how to respond to the news.

The Island Chief was murdered!!
Damn, that's tough. To make matters worse, we're about to take over this island. Almost makes me feel bad for these people.

The cyborg led crew watched the emotional announcement on the outskirts of the crowd. Too far back and silent to be noticed by anybody, even with their exposed weapons.

"Too bad for these people that I also don't really give a shit. Musashi, take 4 guys with you to flank to the left. Alias, you take another 4 to our right. The rest, you come with to the middle. Keep your weapons drawn and attack only on my signal."

Musashi and Alias nodded and did as they were told. Drago took his men down through the sobbing crowd of long arms.

Again, nobody seemed to notice 5 group of armed men clearly not mourning for their chief. Ater pushing one last person through, the pirates reached the front where Ideo was at. Drago headed up onto the stage, raising a closed fist at his men to tell them to halt.

"My apologies for this intrusion onto such a tragic moment for your people. I have even worse news to reveal for you all," Drago's time says directily at Ideo, full of compassion and sympathetic. All of it an act. "The news is, this entire island is now under the Silver Hair Pirates control. There's nothing you can do about it. Either accept it and move on, or fight and die. Your choice."

After giving the citizens of Kenzan Island the chance to grieve, the 'Acting Island Chief' was finally about to propose a solution to the problem at hand. Well at least until he was rudely interrupted when a cybernetically enhanced foreigner who was wishing to make his presence known.

Ideo was slightly surprised by the arrival of the pirate but he knew that, based on recent events, he really should be. In his mind, the murder of the chief and his arrival were obviously connected. He clears his throat in preparation of a response.

“So the Silver Hair Pirates are the responsible party for today's atrocities. Well I don't respond to threats lightly, especially a man that sends a woman to do his dirty work. Guards, arrest this murderer immediately.”

With Ideo's order spoken, 50 armed guards make their way from various points around the crowd, preparing to surround and capture the pirate.

An audible gasp from the crowd encompassed the pirates.

Drago was perplexed. He had no clue who had plotted the assassination of the chief. Before Drago could even form a response, guards were already thundering across the ground for arrest.

"Oh, come on. Wasn't really trying to kill nobody today man, but..."

*Tip tap tip tap tip tap*

The bounce of Drago's echoed through the area. Natives watched in horror as the cyborg leisurely took each and everyone of the guards. All of them on the ground. Arms bent in weird, creepy positions that were unnatural for even the long armed.

"He killed them!" Shouted a bystander.

"Untrue! They're not dead but unconscious. I'm not in a killing mood right now." Drago turned to Ideo. "Now, will you surrender? Or will you like me to dispose of you in the same way?" There was no menace, no threat. Just simply stated as matter of fact.

Although he would never care to admit it, Ideo was highly impressed by the Silver Hair's cyborg making quick work of the guards with ease. Any other time, place or situation and the boxer might've instantly granted this man a place within the elite of his gym. But right now Ideo's honour was at stake, this pirate had disrupted the very peace of his homeland and it was now his duty to teach him a lesson. Yet he remained cool and collected while listening to everything he had to say, even showing a slight smirk on his face.

Ideo: “My gym never surrenders, that's one of the major rules. However I will make you the exact same offer that I was about to make to all of the people here. If you can defeat me in one on one combat then I will happily accept you as being a worthy leader for this island.”

All of the citizens of Kenzan Island cheer in support of Ideo as he boldly challenges the invader. To them, his abilities were almost legend, with he and his gym making waves in tournaments around the four Blues and even occasionally the Grand Line. What could possibly go wrong?

Drago couldn't hold back laugh when Ideo made his offer. He cackled like a witch! His crew was dead in laughter too. The crowd were very confused by their laughter. To be challenged by Ideo for them is like having a God welcome you to his home. It was something of great honor.

"Yeah, ok, dude. One v one combat. Whatever. We fight now or?"

Ideo: “Why wait?”

His grin obviously becoming wider when his challenge is accepted by the pirate standing opposite to him. He didn't know of the man in front of him but he had heard of the general exploits of his crew. Ideo knew that this man had every right to be confident so he paid little mind to the laughter of him and his Silver Hair comrades. All that mattered was the result of this fight and then he could send this cyborg packing. As he shaped up into his boxing stance, Ideo was a little excited because it had been a while since he had gotten to go all out.

Something magical was occuring. His hand was twisting around, getting smaller with more spins. *Fyoom!* It went right inside Drago's forearm, leaving a gaping hole in the cyborg's arm.

Then, a light shines through. At first dim and small, but it progressively got bigger, brighter and then...*BYOO!* It was released, sent directly at Ideo's head!

Things were beginning to intensify, the champion fighter Ideo and the pirate called Drago were about to start their fight while all of the citizens looked on from below the stage. The former in his boxing stance waiting for the other to strike first, he had no idea of his abilities outside of the fact that he casually took out 50 of the island's guards. It didn't take long though, as the latter would extend his arm towards Ideo with it simultaneously shifting into a large cannon and charging up destructive power. Ironic considering what people all around the world call the local hero.

'What the..?' Ideo barely had time to think or react, just enough to instinctively activate his invisible Haki over his entire body as the eventual large beam of energy successfully connects where it was meant to. It worked in preventing major life-threatening damage but his face still felt like he had been standing in the sun for days.
41-60 Can coat entire body in invisible haki.

Out of 10 turns, how many times you can use haki without exhausting it:
41-60: 8 (-2=6 turns remaining)

Yet throughout his pain, the grin from earlier never escapes his face. With some slight recomposure and Haki still in effect he would then proceed with an attack of his own by fully extending one of his longarms at rapid pace with his fist aimed at the face of Drago, this would then be repeated by the other arm to create an attempted two punch combo.

Hakai Ho (破壊砲, Hakai Hō?, literally meaning "Destruction Cannon"): An explosive punch that is Ideo's signature attack, and the source of his epithet. It was first seen when Ideo punched the unconscious Hajrudin out of the ring in the Block C battle royale, and named when he participated in the battle against members of the Donquixote Pirates. According to Gatz, the explosive power of the attack comes from Ideo's oddly-shaped shoulders, which are actually his Longarm Tribe joints compressed past his shoulders.

The attack is town level. My durability + armor that gives +2 is city level. So the attack does meh damage. But that doesn't matter cause my reaction speed is 96 and your attack is 70.

Hypersonic vs. Massively hypersonic. So yeah...
Oh, it didn't kill him. He's strong, I guess? Meh.

Ideo, after regaining his composure, took his chance to attack. It looked fast, had lots of power behind it, a combo of sorts, and it was relatively easy for Drago to counter.

Drago stares dead on at Ideo with the blankets expression ever. The attack comes closer and closer. It's just a few inches from his face and then...he juts out his two hands in an attempt to grab Ideo's wrists.

"Not really sure what you're trying to do here buddy. Gonna need stronger attacks if you're serious about this fight."

Just as Ideo's attack nears it's target, his wrists are easily caught by the opponent. He doesn't answer the pirate's comments however as he knows he's right, he's outmatched in this fight and any stronger attacks are going to be more taxing on his own body than that of the enemy. He has no other choice though, not when his homeland is on the line.

He attempts to pull his hands free and if successful, he'll attempt a stronger version of the punch combo he had just tried as a last ditch effort to beat the cyborg as it's all his body will allow him and will drain his remaining energy.

Bro, you don't have 81 strength or mastery.

Ideo tried getting out of drag's grip but the cyborg just scoffed. "Please, nothing you do will wo- oh!" To Drago's shock, the long armed man was actually stronger than him and successfully pulled out of his grip.

Then, Ideo tried one last attempt. He cocked his arms and appeared to be sending the same punches as last time.

"Yeah, no."

*Frshoom*

"Sorry to kill you, but you weren't giving up. Left me no choice."

Drago once again fired an energy weapon at Ideo. This time, for his wife open stomach.

Ideo's death was instant. There was no life flashing before his eyes, he was just dead. A lifeless corpse with a large whole through his body like a donut.

For Ideo, this is how he would've wanted it to end and not ever reaching a point where he'd become a frail old man.

For the people of Kenzan Island, they were distraught. Not only had they lost one of their greatest champions but now their land belonged to the Silver Hair Pirates and none of them could do anything about it. They just hoped some semblance of peace would remain.

And as for Sancrin, well he saw a business opportunity. Somebody would have to remain to serve as a mouthpiece for their new occupiers and what better person then him, his skills as manager were perfect for the job. He approached the podium before speaking into the Den Den Microphone so that everybody can hear.

“You all heard Ideo, if this man could beat him then he'd be worthy to rule us. So stand up and cheer for our new champion.” as he says this he looks at Drago with a smirk and dollars signs in his eyes.

Ideo was dead. His motionless body laid on the ground. Eyes and mouth open. A giant hole in his abdomen from Drago's attack.

Although the cyborg had won, he felt a great sorrow wash through him. Kneeling on the ground, he spoke softly to the dead long arm. "It didn't have to be like this my fellow pirate. You could have simply joined us. May your soul rest in peace."

The crowd was dead silent. Not a single word, chirp, or crick. They were too shocked to even cry. They have posted their leader, champion fighter and now they're being taken over by pirates. What a day for the Kenzan citizens.

The silence didn't last long however
“You all heard Ideo, if this man could beat him then he'd be worthy to rule us. So stand up and cheer for our new champion.”
Drago scowled at this man. Who is he to claim victory of all things when he should be mourning? The scientist stepped into the podium beside the long arm; his metallic feet clinking with noise.

"Would you to say a few words my champ-" and just like that, Sancrin was dead. He first staggered about the podium, clutching a donut sized hole in his chest, staring wide-eyed at Drago. The cyborg grabbed the long arm before he took his final breath and said with all the disdain and contempt he could muster, "may you rest in neverending chaos, my friend."

*Slump* Sancrin dropped to the floor. It wasn't that Drago suddenly had morals about what's good and wrong. Even though he had wanted the civilians to give uo, the sight of Sancrin trying to switch sides when Ideo sacrificed his life--albeit in vein--to protect the island made Drago sick and disgusted. His dear friend and pirate in arms, Straw had sacrificed his life to protect Drago and the crew. There wasn't a day that went by that Drago didn't think of Straw.

The cyborg turned to the onlooking crowd and spoke to them in a powerful voice that boomed across the square.

"Citizens of Kenzan island. I will assign a governor--Alias--to watch over this island under the name of the Silver Hair Pirates. We are not tyrants. You guys may keep your customs and go about each day with your same laws and practices. We only wish for your cooperation, loyalty, and tribute in return for safety from us. Thank you."

-On the Ship-
Drago sat idly in the chair of the Captain's quarters. The rainstorm continued thundering its way about, massively delaying the crew's departure from the island. The cyborg didn't mind at all as he was more interested in the newspaper he was reading.

"Vacant shichibukai position. World government looking to recruit more marine officers for the Navy. Hmm, such an intriguing circumstance." Drago looked at the paper with a peculiar hunger in his eyes. To the right of that particular section was a small but noticeable bounty poster of Caribou of the Caribou pirates. A whopping 300 million berri was what the World Government was willing to offer for his head. Drago whistled to that. "How interesting would it be for someone to just take his head and offer it for a position in the Government instead of money? Has anybody done that yet?" The scientist continued to mutter to himself.

*Knock knock!*

"Come in."

"Sir! We found this girl standing outside the ship. Apparently she wanted to talk to you."

Drago took a long glance at the girl. A plain, thoroughly soaked cloak strapped her body. It's good covered her face. She looked to be about average height and from the strip of hair on her face, her hair was brown. What intrigued Drago the most was her poise. She stood erect and confident, making eye contact with the cyborg. Before Drago could formulate a response, she spoke.

"I'd like to join your crew."

Drago's eyebrows shot up. "Join, my crew? Tuh, first of all, I'm not the captain. He will have to ultimately decide. Second of all. We're pirates if you couldn't tell. You risk losing all you have right now and wish for in the future by joining us. This is not anything to just outright claim to be a member of."

"I'm not claiming anything. My only wish for the future is to join your crew. I can't possibly lose such a wish like that. If that makes sense."

A smirk arose on Drago's lips. He was starting to like this girl. "Barris, find her a room with fresh blankets and some food. She must be terribly cold and hungry. Tell the rest of the crew that we depart as soon as the storm is over while you're at it. Ask Eve when it'll end too so we can prepare properly."

A hearty "yes, sir!" responded the cyborg.

"As for you, girl. What's your name?"

"Elise."

"Well, Elise. I hope you enjoy the Silver Hair Pirates."
