I beg to differ, it can be interpreted in a both a good and a bad way depending on the perspective of the observer. On one hand it outlines the one who claimed early as an enthusiastic townie on the other it makes him look shady and deflecting doubt off of him/herself.

And we also have to consider that both perceptions of that actions can be deceiving. I was enthusiastic like that as a Town member in last few games and we all know how that wrapped up for me....

I also don't like Mistys phrase of "I am important" because also Vanillas are important. A role that basically can throw votes as they please, and a role that can drive attention away from the actual PRs.
People underestimate the vanilla role in such setups. As vanilla you gotta protect the PR at all costs.

there is no CC in a vanilla game with one town PR, everything claim related or counterclaim related is just throwing a player infront of mafias gun.
