The biggest setback was the protagonist losing his power. Its like Luffy losing Gomu Gomu no mi power and getting something else, halfway. Author throw away all character development , build up . The most idiotic thing I've ever witnessed in manga.

Ichigo losing his powers after Aizen was a damn perfect ending if you ask me.

Have no issue with losing a power/ability
But losing it permanently and then learning something else and become master is something else. Because there was lots of bulid up and character development (including of other characters) connected with it.
I'm anime only watcher and don't remember much about this series but I was cringed a lot after that.

Loved the Bleach filler episodes tho. Don't know why some people don't like it. But they were funny.

Ichigo losing his powers after Aizen was a damn perfect ending if you ask me.

The Quincy plot was already introduced.
Many would have been dissappointed if Bleach would have ended after Aizen.

The only Problem was Ichigo loosing all of his powers. This way fullbring arc became a pain.

The only disappointment I had was that many bankai weren’t revealed. But what a big joke that Quincy Ark was. Destroyed everything.
