The boom from the artillery would alert and concern many of the civilians, alerted by the feeling of a tremor hid themselves assuming it would go on for a few seconds but to them, it halted as dust soared above. One of the children pulled her mom's cloth, asking "What was that Mommy? ... why is there smoke coming from the castle?" as her mom looked on in disbelief.

Heading back into the King's Landing Castle, Robert charged at Rheagar's direction spotting him take a step back, at this time Robert was too into his emotions using it as a propeller. As he washed the King's Guard, many of the pirates led under Larsi only focused his entire rage at one target.

With him focusing on Rheagar the King's Guard would make their move in honor of the new king who wanted Robert kept alive. One of them with a shield that charged in hardened clad of armament hardening then pushing his shield before him as the others like a pack approached Robert from the sides. The collision of the lance's met the shield with a clang of metals collided knocking Robert back as the others used their swords with Robert now disproportioned was sent backwards with the King's Guard lying in wait.

Robert Baratheon thinking: ' Shit '

Robert was barely able to react like spider laying its trap before its prey comes to it, he'd barely just in the nick of time was capable of using hardening to soften what was to come next but the outcome would've been the same. The Kings Guard got the better of Robert, out of all the lords present and past, he was the only one that can be considered the most formidable one. The score was now Kings Guard 1 - 0 Robert.

Following the onslaught of the King's Guard he'd grunt and roar in pain landing on the ground taking some fall damage in the process with parts of his armor cut and turned inside to pierce some flesh.

He laid there face up in defeat then looked at the King's Guard begrudgingly before he saw a picture of Rheagar in his younger days, the fellow lords, his kingdom with a tear forming at the corner of his eye then trailing down his cheek. A brief moment of warmth befell Robert as he spoke up

Robert Baratheon: " Rheagar, if i am gonna go then allow me the courtesy to meet the same fate as my brethren and your father "

Robert Dura = 81 = Town Level +2 Hardening = Mountain Level
King's Guard Attack = Small Country Level

Result = DPR 2 or more higher than dura: super effective

Larsi and the other pirates moved among the figures. Any time they caught anyone alive, they were checked and identified. As none of them were reacting to what was happening, it was easy to tie them up. Kaladin took charge of the most wounded and had them carried of to the side where he would administer first aid and tend to their wounds as quickly as he could. It didn't take long for the other Lords than Robert to be found and identified, but when Kaladin wanted to tend to their injuries Larsi brushed his concerns aside. No, you take care of the others. These ones have another task ahead of them.

Kaladin started protesting, but Larsi grabbed the unconscious Rickard Stark, Tywin Lannister, Jon Arryn and Mace Tyrell with his left hand, carrying them by the robes that tied them. Hoster Tully and Balon Greyjoy was on their feet, and allowed themselves to be pulled along by Larsi's right hand. And so he started walking back towards Rhaegar.

Rhaegar stood and watched as his knights pounded their swords into the Lord, crushing his body and seemingly his spirit. Robert Baratheon fell to the ground, letting out a sound of pain. Stepping forward as he listened to the lord speak, begging to be put out of his misery, Rhaegar waved the King's Guard back. Reluctantly the four knights stepped back, yet kept their swords in hand. In the distance Zahel turned and gave the scene his full attention. Behind the King his shadow darkened even further and seemed to stir.

No, Robert. Rhaegar said, dismissing the man's request. The other lords still live, as will you. But you will be the first one to bend his knee and swear fealty to me, will you not?

Rheagar's plan with Larsi, went without a hitch, carefully placed strings to have things go in their favor from the very start as every lord had been puppeteered to their downfall all except one. Despite him being the final lord remaining conscious, he was on the receiving end of suffering a humiliated loss with his rashness of anger pinpointed at Rheagar and completely ignoring the King's Guard, however, it was them that would push him back.

Robert remained in pain with sharp pain felt wherever he'd be cut, remained laying on the ground defeated acting defeatist in his final stages or what he perceived to be. However, his wish would not be granted as the King's Guard halted with a wave of the hand as Rheager rebuffed his plea and instead stated the fact the other lords were still living but he requested Robert to swear his fealty to him.

Robert remained quiet, tightening his palms and forming a fist then asked

Robert: " What if i refuse? ... Will you kill me? ... Or will you put me behind bars? ..."

Before Rheagar could comment he'd speak again.

Robert: " I swear once either i heal up i will be coming for your head or I'll die trying "

Robert's tone was of hatred now, swearing fealty with vengeance against Rheagar.

Rhaegar was hopeful, even as Robert opened his mouth to speak. Even when he questioned the king's actions should he refuse, Rhaegar hoped the man would put his hammer down, for the sake of their country. Yet his heart fell as the man swore an oath of vengeance, vowing to never bend his knee to his king. Leaning forward, Rhaegar whispered sadly to the defeated Lord. That you would choose the tyrant that was my father rather than me, truly a shame.

He is yours.
Rhaegar said loudly, straightening his back and turning aside as a figure wreathed in darkness stepped forth from behind him. The shadows that covered his body fled as Zahel stepped forward, kneeling in front of Robert. In the distance where the pirate had stood moments ago a black shape fell apart on the ground.

Zahel's hand placed on the ground in front of the lord he ripped the shadow from the ground as if it was solid. A blade appeared in his hand and he cut through the black shape that stretched out from Robert's body. His shadow severed, Robert would feel his consciousness fade away, his strength drained. The shadow absorbed into his body Zahel rose to his feet and approached the king.
It is done, Your Grace. He can never enter the light of the sun again. You best throw him in your dungeons to keep him safe.

Rhaegar nodded, his eyes focused on the figures approaching. Larsi carrying several of the lords and pulling a few others behind him. Will you join lord Baratheon then, or will you bend the knee to me?

Following the refusal of taking the knee but instead following a path of vengeance Robert's fate was sealed. Rheagar would whisper the final words Robert would hear before regaining his consciousness was nothing but disappointment. Another would approach as Rheagar stepped aside for him to do something many within the four blues considered as myths, the power of a devil fruit. Robert's eyes widened realising it was a devil fruit user as he then extracted his shadow leaving Robert to fall unconscious.

The remaining Lords who'd witnessed the death of their kin were flabbergasted at the sight, The first would take a knee would be:

[Mace Tyrell]: " I succumb and bend a knee "

Mace would be the first lord who'd submit, the other lord's mind would be pinging from side to side as they bore witness to what just happened to Robert. Having his fate sink into the retina, Jon Arryn who was on his knees burst into tears. Balon Greyjoy seeing everything would get down to his knee with hesitation, the feeling of warm tears strolling down his cheek.

[Balon Greyjoy]: " I t-take the knee "

Tywin Lannister would follow suit as the earlier bombardment would mean dying a pointless death. Rickard Stark would be next who would take the knee begrudgingly whilst on his knee with his knuckle beginning to crack and bleed.

The only lord who remained mute was still standing as he was only staring at Robert's body was none other than Hoster Tully, clenching his fist. He'd remain quiet as he knew no matter what the situation was and would be he shouldn't do something rash as he was nothing but a pebble with Rheagre and Larsi being the whips.

Kissing his teeth he leaned forward getting on his knee, he knew full well that Robert being the strongest out of all the lords was made to look like an example.

King's Landing Defense #15 @Dream

Rhaegar was victorious. Although it had been less than an hour since the start of the meeting, already the rebels were at his feet, swearing their fealty as they had to his forefather Aegon three hundred years ago during his conquests. Robert might not have sworn fealty himself, but he could be dealt with, especially now.

Rhaegar motioned for soldiers to apprehend the lord who had come so close to him, yet so far away from killing him. One of his brothers were surely alive, and one of them would have to take his place. Stannis was far more logical, while Renly was only a youth still. They would fall in line. A smile formed on Rhaegar's face, though it soon faltered as his eyes took in the scene of destruction fully.

Many had died today, defenseless and unprepared for the hell King's Landing and the pirates had unleashed in defense. Smoke still rose to the sky, even as rebel soldiers were assembled to be dealt with. Some would be pardoned, others would be sent to the wall. The corpses were loaded onto wagons and pulled away, controlled by the mysterious man calling himself Zahel. What he meant to do with them Rhaegar didn't want to know.

Congratulations, Your Grace. The day is won. Larsi spoke, snapping Rhaegar back to the present. The giant stopped in front of the king. Even now the King's Guard moved to separate the pirate from the king, yet he had clearly shown when facing two of the realm's greatest knights that they would not impede him should he decide to attack. The throne is yours.

Thank you... Silver Hair.
Rhaegar settled on referring to the pirate by his epithet. Your assistance has been much welcome. I look forward to our future dealings.

Larsi smiled. Of course. Lord Morrow would most likely wish to make your acquaintance himself. He has... lofty aspirations.

I am sure.
Rhaegar raised his arms and raised his voice. People of Briss, my subjects and friends, let it be known that from today on I, King Rhaegar Targaryen will lead us to greatness and glory, together with one who would be emperor of the seas!

After the fall of King's Landing that led to Aerys "Mad King" Targaryen dying and the capture of Sunspear under the Vampirates command, then later the reports of Aerys Targaryen dying that included a gathering of the lords and the commemoration of the new King, Rheagar. Once the lords arrived at the King's Landing, Rheagar had conducted a plan to get the lords to swear fealty until they bared their fangs at the newly announced King only for them to be swept in one action leaving only three.

Lord Robert Baratheon was one of the trio who survived the onslaught and had then been surrounded and evenly matched with the King's Guard, as the other two were quickly dispatched personally by Larsi. Just like that the remaining final stand fell directly into Larsi and King Rheagar's plan, it was after that had each other lords who survived the bombardment swore fealty towards their new King.

The lords' fate remained a question, their territories were now gathered under King Rheagar and the Vampirate's command, and their remaining underlings including siblings had sworn fealty out of fear.

King's Landing Defense Conclusion #16 @Dream

It was a few days after the battle, and Rhaegar was sat astride his horse, clad in much more comfortable clothing than that day. The discomfort he was feeling was from the crown that dug into his skull. It was a simple thing, a band with a single red jewel in the center. Yet the the sensation he thought he would never get used to. Just as well, a constant reminded of the fragility of rule, to remind him to keep his lords in check.

His horse led a procession of soldiers and noblemen, down the streets of King's Landing and out onto the docks. His advisors had advised him not to make this trek, yet he had ignored them. Up ahead the great ship of the pirate fleet was moored on the furthest end of the dock. Even Larsi seemed small next to the Silver Bullet, standing in front it and directing the loading of supplies and boarding of crew. The other ships were already waiting out in the harbor, waiting for the mother ship to lead them home. A small group of pirates were set to remain in King's Landing as envoys, while he had noticed several other from the city having joined the pirate crew. Not counting that man Zahel's... creations. He shuddered at the though, he almost regretted gifting them the devil fruit.

Larsi turned to see Rhaegar and his following approach and his face took on a surprised cast, though it quickly turned to a smile.
Your Grace, I thought I would not see you again.

Alas, I thought best to see you off.
Rhaegar reined in his horse, the long line behind him stopping at the command of his banner bearer. A cart pulled by two horses passed him, carrying a large chest. And I figured the first payment could be delivered at once.

Ah, of course. Larsi waved a couple of men over who lifted the chest off the cart and carried it aboard. I think our alliance should prove fruitful-

Boss!
Zahel shouted, running down the plank and leaping over the men carrying the chest. Landing in a crouch he pushed off and ran the last bit to Larsi. Raising a hand, he held a den den mushi up to to the giant. Couldn't this wait?

No, sorry.
Zahel gave Rhaegar a belated bow as Larsi accepted the phone and raised the receiver to his ear. His eyes widened immediately, and he handed the phone back to Zahel. Turning towards the men still loading, he shouted loudly. Time to finish up! You have two minutes!

Sorry, Your Grace. Lord Morrow is in need of my assistance. I must leave at once.
Larsi gave a nod in respect, then turned and grabbed the two largest chests left on the dock and climbed aboard, skipping the board itself. Somehow within the allotted two minutes the crew had finished loading and the plank pulled off. Rhaegar was left in confusion as he watched the ship sail off, faster than he'd thought possible.
