Looks like it. There must be something that cause Rock and Roger pirates clashed there. And the obscurity the location may hint that it might be Raftel. What do you think?

I think it's the location of the last poneglyph because according to story Big mom and Kaido doesn't know about raftel so if Rock were defeated on God valley that's mean his crew traveled there and we know roger become pirate king after 20 years or something after that incident

But anyway, I think God Valley is Raftel they just didn't realise it cus it was the end and not the end of the journey cus all the hints and clues were not collected. I went on a journey with this thought process in the chapter discussion ?

So Roger's was going for the end and found Rafael *cough god valley cough* but because he got to the end without the pieces he didn't know what he found, other than a fight with the strongest pirate crews of the time. Garp was there too and what was he doing there if not with the Celestial Dragons. He teamed up with Rogers to protect not just the CD, there had to be a greater reason. Soooo Garp learns part of the truth of the world, maybe Rogers fills him in on the rest before execution since he's a fellow D. Which let's math a bit Dragon a teenager? Is Dragon told a bit or the Rocks fight? Learns to hate CD more and revolutionary army idea starts forming (I mean I'm making Dragon pretty old now, but...) with knowledge of the world but not a complete knowledge.

I don't believe so. Why Oda would reveal an island with a different name where only Roger and his crew could arrive?

Besides, i think Laugh Tale (ex-Raftel) contains the rest, history and information of the D. legacy and void century. The island can not have been destroyed or dessapeared.

I thought the same thing more or less. I think it was the location of the last Ponyglyph. I don't think Shanks is necessarily protecting it, but he may not need to do anything if it is unknown by all but him.

It could be that at that time, you didn't need the poneglyphs to get there. Once it disappeared, was when the pongelyphs became relevant. It's mighty suspect how God Valley just disappeared without a trace and isn't mapped which is similar to Raftel.

But God Valley ended up disappearing so even though he used to be there, he wouldn't know how to find it anymore cause you know...it's gone.

It's a possibility but I'd like to think God Valley was an island that belonged to the celestial dragons because of the road poneglyph they have there.

God Valley is the island of the celestial dragons whereas Raftel is the island of the D clan. Both seem to be hidden from history because God Valley is another clue to Raftel.

That doesn't make sense either. Poneglyphs were made 800 years ago, so the direction of raftel can't just change and if maps that cannot be destroyed were needed to find it then it also don't make sense for it to be easily located others the maps pointing to raftel is a huge waste of time.
