General How many languages do you speak?

I took French for 5 years, 2 of which were college level and I still can't converse in French ? I just can't pick up languages

Native Language: Urdu + Hindko (very similar)
Foreign Languages: English

Languages i learnt bits and bobs or understand but cant speak are like: Punjabi / Hindi (The amount of movies i use to watch when i was little) / Arabic (I can read it but cant speak it) / French / Spanish

I did try to learn some Elvish from LOTR and Klingon a few years ago lmao

the same goes for everyone who had spanish or French in my high school. They couldn't hold a conversation in that language after 4 years. Kind of sad

It is beyond me why Nordic country would learn Spanish

Oh it's the social aspect that prevents me from being able to converse. ? if I just sit and listen to a convo I can understand them, but if I have to speak back I get flustered and forget everything.

they made us learn it as we had a "supposed" trip to be in Year 11 and had to learn either if not both from Year 7 and then since then i only know 2-3 phrases lol
