The Poppy Wars by RF Kuang.
It's the 1st in a new series and it has a very interesting world developed. Heavy on the military references has a bit of magic, but takes influence from twentieth century China, and throws in an underdog protagonist with spunk.

Any Sara J Maas book.
I started with Court of Thornes and Roses, 4 books. But The Glass Throne series was pretty epic as well, 7 books. If you're Under 18 don't read though. They have some rather adult moments.

Summoner Trilogy Series by Taran Matharu.
Very boy book. Again kinda military based, with magic, but not Harry Potter Magic.

Ok last one...
SpiritWalker Trilogy by Kate Elliott.
Cousins raised as sisters in a world that advanced to the Steampunk age (industrial age) and stopped. Where families with magic are the ones in charge, and people are into the idea of the French revolution (though it was only America that did revolt). The story centers around one House trying to take out the revolutionary leader and gaining power by any means necessary.
If you're into these books they are awesome and exciting, but if you're not they drag on.

@Beky it's an amazing series. The way certain character developments were handled was like super well done and believable. Even in the later books when there is a lot of building up it goes by fast so the slow parts aren't slow for long. I think I read the whole series in 3 days because i could not put the books down. (And I hadn't done that since like Harry Potter)

The second series though. Oooh. I was hooked on the author after that one. She had a character have a breakdown and I literally had a breakdown with them and was like crying.

I want to recommend a psychological terror book that is so good!! And what's more, it has a really charismatic reading to it and by the end of the book, you'll end up speechless! I really enjoyed my time reading this book, so here's a picture of both fronts since both are amazing! (the one made here in my country and the original)

Wyspa Robinsona by Arkady Fiedler (polish "Robinson Island", In German "Die Insel der Verwegenen")
Am Rande wohnen die Wilden by Klaus Frühauf (german "At the edge there live the wild ones" I think just available in German )

I must say I’m a great fan of the « Myron Bolitar » series and loved J.K Rowling detective books.

For the fantasy, I just finished the « Magnus Chase » series of Rick Riordan and I’m now reading the second book of Patrick Rothfuss « Kingkiller Chronicles »

I'm reading A Song of Ice and Fire. Just halfway through a Dance with Dragons.

Probably gonna reread and catch up to Stormlight Archives and Mistborn afterwards.

This is on my list of must read!
I just signed up for kindle unlimited (free for 3 months!) and I have so many books on my list. I have such a hard time limiting myself to reading only a couple of books at a time.
Right now I am reading David Baldacci’s One good deed and Dean Koontz The crooked staircase.

My favorite book series of all time is Warriors. It's such a fantastic story and journey man. Yes, it's about cats which is a bit weird but the setting and elements make it very intriguing, making it seem natural.

Other great books imo are Lost Gods, and Graceling. Lost God's is a journey about a millennial going through purgatory so he can come back to the living and destroy a great evil. Amazing battles, the characters are static for the majority of them, they're still great and compelling. You'll never stop wanting to read more.


Graceling is a story about this girl with a quirk like My Hero Academia but different. She lives in a world where a few ppl have special powers and these powers are more passive than they are active. It shows a great story about a strong, and independent young lady going through this mission of sorts with other main characters to defeat this man who has a way of making ppl believe he's a good person wen he's actually evil. Great read, give it a try.

I've liked many books, but The Inheritance Cycle, The Silmarillion and A Song of Ice and Fire are the ones I love the most.

the only book i have ever read from start till the end was Lord of the Rings enough to have me buy all 3 books in 1

I read Harry Potters books 1 - 4 after that i never read i just watched the movies instead

I need to find some good books to read though i am unsure if i ever will get the chance
