Sakura Island, a serene island of beauty and delight. For years, the Kurosaki family have ruled this island without any interference from the World Government, dealing arms with different countries and pirates alike, but this would soon come to an end. World Government officials on this day be gathered within the main house, negotiating with the family regarding surrendering their loyalty over to them. Whether by peace or by force they were not leaving here without an alliance. However while that discussion happened within, Vice Admiral Katsumi Adachi is tasked with preventing any outside interference. The Marine would yawn loudly as he positioned himself near the bridge, with so far, no adversary in sight.
The wind-carried cherry blossom petals landing on her nose gave a gentle alert to the fishwoman that she was nearing Sakura Island. Sweet Einsauer rose her head from the newspaper she had been reading and set her coffee mug directly onto the deck of the ship. Though Captain Einsauer was a fresh face to the pirating scene, she had experience much of the underworld for quite some time. It was through her manipulative charisma and her absurd proficiency in lying that she had garnered quite the impressive web of connections.
Under the passage of a freshly hijacked ship, painted in a beautiful shade of maroon, The Sweet Pirates sailed against the petal-smattered winds into the serene waters of Sakura Island.
She looked around at her less-than-dignified crew and shook her head. None of them were suited with gentle dealings, they were goofy bandits that she had persuaded into the pirate life with the promise of treasure and adventure; they were simple tools for her own status being propelled further. Mikami, the leader of the bandits, already knew he was expected to stay on the ship and guard it from rival pirates; though the others seemed surprised when the captain remarked in an off-handed fashion: "Nobody steps foot on this island." She said. "I can't trust you all not to act like degenerates... Not after what happened at our last stop." The captain lamented. Einsauer glanced out over the sea of disappointed faces and pointed out two of the burlier men under her employ. "You two follow me. Stand behind me, act tough, but don't talk unless you absolutely have to."
Soon after the orders, the stolen ship docked at a beautiful port much to the dismay of the boat-bound and envious swabbies. Koi fish (that could rival a hound in size) would rise to the surface to occasionally eat a fallen flower petal. The rushing sounds of a number of small manmade waterfalls met the ears of the jealous pirates and the lucky two that got to follow Sweet onto shore.
Mikami stood up only long enough to drop the ship's anchor off the side of the ship, then slumped back down into his restful state.
The gangplank lowered and Captain Sweet Einsauer was first off the ship then followed by her two underlings, quietly obeying her orders and attempting to look like menacing bodyguard-types, despite Sweet being three feet taller than the both of them. They strolled from the wooden docks onto the beautiful terraformed landscape of the kingdom. "It's a quick job, I just need to talk to a friend of mine about arranging a few cannons to be loaded onto our ship." She remarked to the two men following behind. "We're gonna be headed right to the town's center, so don't draw too much attention to yourselves."
"This is neutral territory, marines might not be an issue, but that doesn't stop the locals from killing you themselves."
The two swabbies nervously nodded to her (despite the fact she wasn't looking) then to one another. Without any more conversation between the three of them, they began walking through the bustling walkways and streets.
Despite the captain's insistence to lay low, it was hard for the small group of pirates to not stick out in the crowd; in no small part due to Sweet's tendency to tower of the meager humans and often standing above those of her own race as well. Sweet successfully guided her party further and further into the beautiful land, but allowed them little time to marvel at the passing stops; the captain was painfully aware of the unwanted attention of passing eyes.
