Caitlyn
Caitlyn traversed the streets only to make it back to the same exact streets, though with creepy child-like laughter as a silhouette appeared and disappeared in front of her eyes. She was spook by the events and now caught in the loop. Attempting a different decision to break the loop – Caitlyn instead went the other way, which a tall imposing figure would soon came into view, showing to be Kallavan, or at least his silhouette would quickly be recognized by. ‘Kallavan’ would start to walk away into the emerald fog as Caitlyn calls out the entity as the real Kallavan although she expected this to be nothing but an illusion, yet a small chance is something the lady wouldn’t give it up on.

Presumably following ‘Kallavan’ into the fog, she would find the same thick fog obscuring much of a vision. But soon, an unsettling aura permeates this street. She would find herself… feeling as if she is being watched. As if surrounded. Yet she would not see a single soul around her. But soon, a muscular arm would suddenly grab onto Caitlyn’s neck out of nowhere from her left, likely too fast for her to process the motion. From the arm appears Kallavan whom would push her towards a building’s wall on the street. Whilst grabbing onto her neck, she would not find Kallavan attempting to choke her by any means, the man before her emotionless and silent. Yet his other arm would reach out towards her chest as Kallavan closes onto herself. A strange motion. But one that would immediately raise any red flags that she would likely and very immediately notice what is going on.

Is ‘Kallavan’ assaulting her? What is going with ‘Kallavan’? And why is he doing this?

Kanda
Upon inspecting the concrete blocks, a secondary path in which opened up to him – he would ultimately dismiss the route as a viable option, fearing the building blocks bursting into flames which would burn him with nowhere else to go. A sensible choice to make. Taking the option of the wooden bridge. As Kanda took a step onto the
bridge, he would notice the creaking sound of the planks. The weight of the bridge shifted, the bridge itself is wobbly, structurally weak. Yet it is the choice Kanda decided. Taking note of the bridge’s oddity as compared to the rest of the environment. As Kanda continues to walk, each step causing creaking sounds as the bridge shifts left to right. The fog prevented Kanda from seeing much ahead of the bridge, he is effectively going in blind.

After a long walk, the bridge started to feel more weighted despite how weak it looked – but soon Kanda would hear the creaking sounds amplified whenever he took a step and in front of him, as if there is someone walking down the bridge as well, even mimicking Kanda’s footsteps down to a tee. Further walking into the bridge and a silhouette would finally appear until Kanda walks close enough that he would be able to see who is in front of him.

‘Kanda’. He would see another of himself walking towards him. Whether is it walking or going into a cautionary stance, ‘Kanda’ mirrors him exactly as how he would do so, just the opposite side of it – exactly like a mirror. Any attempts to converse with ‘Kanda’ would be met with silence. Should he attempt to just walk past the other self? Or should he attack?

Trevor
Feeling a sense of incredible fear as Trevor notice the staring skeleton cloud looking down upon him as well as the seemly ever-constant distance between himself and the group of figures, Trevor returned to the ground, hoping to see if the sense of fear would dissipate with the distance, yet he would find that as long as he isn’t looking at the cloud – that feeling would dissipate eventually. Unsure what to do as he has no other option he could think of. Standing with is arms crossed, Trevor frustratingly mentions about the terrible situation he is placed in.

Yet it did not take long but Trevor would perhaps in a short while notice something changed. He would see the group of entity suddenly became closer, though seemly not moving – yet he would note that distance easily. The clouds above him, the skeleton hand in turn became so much closer, as if the clouds themselves are inching closer to the ground – aiming for Trevor in particular. Laughter. From various entities could be heard in front of him where the group would be from. Despite chasing the group, no distance is gained yet out of a sudden, his goal became closer.

Mirio
Realizing that the iron bars are of an incredible durability which he wouldn’t be able to break – Mirio quickly honed in onto the girl’s answer. Someone is coming. But he did not know who, nor did she elaborate further which quickly prompted a follow up question as to who. Noting the expanding darkness from a mere spec into what seems to an all-consuming void. The darkness continues to expand, further taking over the prison cell as Mirio looks for an alternative. But all around him are merely prison cells that are similarly closed, as if this section of the prison is for those with a life sentence.

The void continues to expand, and this time the girl’s voice became increasingly desperate once more, her tears continues to flow down her cheeks as she looked very frantic. Instead of answering Mirio’s question, she instead continues to beg Mirio – the growing darkness expanding rapidly to almost the entire room, a void which light wasn’t even affecting it. Mirio would not be able to see anything in the cell except for the girl.

“Please! I beg of you! He’s coming!”

Tengen
The appearance of his siblings surprised Tengen, each and every being that Tengen encountered are copies of the siblings he has eliminated. Anger overtook his emotions, but not enough to let it control him. The fake sibling attempted to push Tengen away though would be met with a firm stand by the man, unmoving. Yet regardless of it, the being continues to run away not just from whatever that is scaring them, but also Tengen himself. The loud footsteps became much closer, darkness accompanying it which prompted him to face ahead of this danger that scared his siblings. Believing in his choices and decisions he made in the past, Tengen would not doubt himself, whatever that is happening in here.

But. What Tengen did not get is that he is in Limbo. His choices in the past did not matter, Limbo is but a reflection of one’s decision of morality and punishment. As Tengen comes face to face with the darkness, the sounds of footsteps, large and heavy would soon come into view. A large, monstrous feet would appear from the void, then another. A massive form would reveal itself to be a mutated monster, large – filled with scars, different skins sutured together with multiple appendages. Several mouths, fangs and eyes appears on its body. An abomination. And perhaps not too surprising for Tengen, the face of the abomination – mutated but he would recognize it.

Himself.

Caitlyn
The figure that resembled Kallavan didn’t react to Caitlyn calling it out, instead it moved deeper into the emerald fog. Following behind it, she’d notice that the fog became more prominent, coating the area she was in. From behind this fog she could feel a presence, something sinister, and it was watching her even if she couldn’t exactly sense anyone or anything behind it.

Suddenly, however, an arm snapped towards her. Clutching her throat into the figure’s large hands and pinning her against a wall. Looking at it Caitlyn found this being looking more and more like the chief, as if he was possessed. She was about to reason with it but when the other arm went towards her chest, she instantly knew this was not the commander. And even if it was.

It didn’t matter.

With her free hand, she’d quickly try and latch onto the wrist, preventing the arm from nearing her chest. Or at the very least try to do so, the creature’s strength far outpaced hers. With her other hand, she’d rise her revolver and fire twice without any warning or hesitation. At point-blank range, two bullets were fired towards the shadow Kallavan’s abdomen
Gunslinging: 81 +3(A)+1(haki) = 7. Mountain Level DPR
Continuing to struggle, Caitlyn would observe how the being reacted to being shot in the stomach. The hand on her throat, preventing her from calling out or making a remark.

Kanda
Taking the bridge option, Kanda would almost immediately find that it wasn’t the most stable of things. Each step he took, it looked as if the plank would give in, creaking and cracking. If someone ambushed him here, he’d have to fight carefully. With caution in mind, the young man continued through the black fog, now finally starting to see what was behind it.

Another sound appeared from the opposite direction and was approaching him. Once close enough, Kanda would halt and noticed a mirror image of himself. Shadow Kanda we’ll coin it. Kanda would move, and noticed that Shadow Kanda mimicked his every move down to the most minute details. Trying to call it out was met with no response, like a puppet or a dummy, the creature only followed what the real Kanda was doing. Or so it seemed, anyway.

So far, it wasn’t doing anything he wasn’t doing, and the marine continued to approach his shadow self. Assuming his counterpart would do the same, he’d eventually come to a stop two meters in front of it. Here Kanda would take a good hard look at his reflection.

“Hmph. A fine attempt but it is a hollow puppet.”

The Vice-Commander said, as he could feel nothing from this reflection. No drive, no soul, no motive. Like a robot, it appeared to run on autopilot. Kanda kept his hand on his hilt, allowing him to draw his blade at a moment’s notice. And attempted to pass his shadow self by the right. If it’d mimic, it too would do to its respective right. Allowing him to pass the creature without combat. This bridge wouldn’t be able to handle the level of combat between two Kandas. Because of that, he chose the path of non-violence.

But would it play like that? He’d have to wait and see.

Trevor
Standing in place, Trevor had noticed that when he shifted his gaze away that the feeling had passed. Also, the ghosts that surrounded him drew in closer, accompanied by a chorus of laughter. Seeing as movement didn’t help his cause, and looking at the spirits instilled him a sense of unnatural dread. The young Belmont did what any normal person would do.

The young man sighed and sat down and grabbed the flask from within his vest and took a shot of some liquor. He looked at the ground and ignored the ghosts that were approaching him. The man decided to let the ghouls come to him, it seemed the only route he could take. A foolish one, but he couldn’t think of anything else, besides this was making progress. To what he couldn’t really say, but it was something at the very least.

“Laugh all you want, fuckers, I’ll show you what the name Belmont really means.” The man whispered under his breath.

Mirio
There wasn’t much that Mirio could do to break through the incoming darkness, it gained more and more presence. To his left and right were cells that couldn’t be opened or broken through. And the iron bars in front of him were made from something that he couldn’t bend nor cut. The young girl didn’t respond to his pleas and instead became more and more anxious of the incoming threat. Realizing that he wouldn’t be able to reach her with words, Mirio had to act quickly.

“Hey! Take me instead!” The selfless knight called out.

It seemed as if he was talking to no one in particular but Mirio was trying to sway the darkness from capturing him instead. Whether it would work or do something remained to be seen, as he shouted he tapped his left foot on the ground a few times. Checking if that was something he could shatter or break.

Tengen

Standing like an oak tree, Tengen would confront the approaching darkness. Eventually, a humongous creature came into view. It was mutated, massive and filled to the brim with scare tissue as if multiple people were stitched together. Not in his wildest dreams would he have expected this, this was truly an abomination. And the most choking of it all was that he’d recognize the face. It was himself.

“What sick joke is this?”
Tengen wondered just what was happening.
“You supposed to be me? My shadow self?”

The Shinobi continued to look at the being in front of him, and he couldn’t comprehend just what was happening on this island. He did, however, now understand how Kallavan wanted to find and destroy it. And also how the man himself got trapped here. It truly defied common sense.

“So, what do you want?” Tengen snapped, unable to hide his feelings. He despised this look. A perverted version of perhaps one of the darkest decisions he ever had to make in his life.

It made his blood boil. But for now the man kept wondering what the point of this was. Did he have to fight himself?

Caitlyn
With the actions of Kallavan taking her by surprise, the lady immediately fires her revolver as she realized that the Kallavan before her is not the same one as she knew. Twice fired, the bullets struck Kallavan’s abdomen at point blank. But what she may perhaps expect is how durable Kallavan is as the bullets barely penetrates the skin of Kallavan, leaving only very small amounts of bleeding at the point of impact. Kallavan’s eyes starts to glow red, as if in anger of what Caitlyn has done. In a single twist of his arm, Kallavan immediately threw Caitlyn towards the street road, letting go of her in the process as the figure before her aims to crash her down onto hard concrete, possibly leading into small concussions depending how Caitlyn reacted to the attack.

“Uahahahahaha…! Did you not like that a handsome man such as Kallavan hit on you?”

A female voice rang out around Caitlyn with no direction to the source. Her voice, mature – yet seductive in nature, her laugh carries a soft evil tone. But soon Kallavan would remain still, staring at Caitlyn but with no further motion as if a robot. Or one may even consider – possessed or mind controlled. Soon, a blackish smoke would start to manifest around Kallavan as it swirls around the figure, then the smoke starts to manifest into an entity. An armoured lady seemly flows into existence. A dark colored armor with sharp spaulders and clawed gauntlets accents into a deadly warrior visual. Long brown hair with bright red lips, the lady looks to be out of this world. Beautiful. Yet, whilst she looked normal blue veins seems to glow around her face. As her full body fully manifests into existence, she would start to encircle around Kallavan whom seems unmoving at all, her clawed gauntlets, a single finger would gently glide across Kallavan’s chest as she speaks once more, stopping on one side of Kallavan.

“What a fine-looking specimen your commander is…. Delicious indeed.. Uahahahaha! Would you like a taste?”

Approaching from the side, the lady leans in towards Caitlyn’s superior. A tongue would spill out of her lips, long – as she gave a single lick across one side of Kallavan’s cheek. Yet Kallavan has no reaction. As if completely under the lady’s control, is this really Kallavan? Or is this but a mere illusion? A Shadow of Limbo? Staring intently at Caitlyn as the lady seems to try and provoke a reaction. A seductress. The succubus. Lilith.

Kanda
Noticing himself, or rather another version of himself across the bridge. Cautious. He would walk across the bridge, aiming to get past his other self and hoped for nothing to truly happen. As he walked forward towards the right, Kanda would notice his other self would do the same and they would merely past by each other as his reflection continuously mimicking as a reflection as he walks behind him. Nothing would happen as Kanda would find out. A puppet at best. As Kanda would continue to walk as with the reflection, the double steps sound would continue for a few more steps. But soon.

Only Kanda’s own step would be heard of the crackling of the wooden bridge. As if either the other Kanda disappeared, or that he stopped. The other Kanda however, simply stopped. A black smoke emanating from the other Kanda’s body. The other Kanda with his back turned against Kanda himself, would start to smile deviously – though not that Kanda himself could physically see. And within seconds – Shadow Kanda turned and ran towards Kanda, immediately withdrawing his blade from the sheathe, leaving the other two blades untouched for the time being if Kanda himself carries all three blades. With one hand on the blade’s hilt and the other on the scabbard, ‘Kanda’ swung his blade horizontally from right to left on the chest level as he kept the scabbard near his own body defensively. Whether or not Kanda recognize immediately at the start would not truly matter, for when ‘Kanda’ ran towards him to attack, he would hear the rapid crackling of wooden planks approaching him from behind.

Fake Kanda’s DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + B: +2 = 120: 5. Town Level

Trevor
The man sat down, noticing the figures closing in – he would hear the laughter of the figures though far. As if mocking Trevor himself, the man did not realize he has slowly become the focal point of this place after having literally stopping dead in his movement. The ghostly cloud has started to manifest a little differently, with another hand now appearing on the clouds – both hands slowly inching towards Trevor from a far distance perspective, as if attempting to ‘catch’ Trevor. But outside of it does nothing otherwise. But the laughter of the figures starts to become louder, and much clearer – this time it wasn’t just from a general direction but it’s as if the voices are in the head of Trevor.

“Hahahahaha! He is alone!”

“You are a monster!”

“Hahahahaha! A blight to our lives!”

“No one likes you! Hahahahaha!”

Voices of different and various characters would be heard, young and old, female and male. But this is not just any voices. Trevor may start to recognize the voices. The people from his hometown. This may likely come as a surprise; after all he is their savior. He saved his people and in return, they cheered for him.

Mirio
The knight’s actions have come to a pause. He could not find any method to save the little girl. This became a problem as the darkness start to completely surround the girl. Mirio shouted upon the incoming shadow. Wanting to catch whatever attention this is. Tapping his left foot to see what he could do in the meantime. But.

“Please…!”

In mere seconds, multiple hands appeared from the darkness, holding onto the girl’s face and body. In a split second, the girl is dragged into darkness. Accompanying the event was a scream dulled into the void. As the girl is dragged away into the void, a single laughter came. A laughter that Mirio would recognize.

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”

A pirate of his past. A trauma that perhaps overcome yet returns to haunts Mirio. The laughter echoes within the prison as darkness slowly rescind into normalcy, the voice slowly echoed further and further, loud into soft as it becomes harder to hear – until the voice disappears. The floor that Mirio tapped on would realize to be pretty normal. But then, so are the bars of the prison cells visually speaking. Loud metal clanging echoes the enclosed space. Cries of help of young child-like voices, in multiple sources now could be heard all around him. Mirio would soon realize, a trauma he may long overcome, have to be revisited. Kallavan saved him from the pirates. But can he save these children from their darkness?

Tengen
The monstrous version of Tengen would appear before himself, in which he would almost immediately recognize to be a version of his dark past and decision. This whole event would turn out to be facing his own past. A projected history perhaps of his deceased siblings’ perspective of Tengen and at the end of their lives. Snapped, Tengen is boiling in blood. Commenting on the identity of the monster, he would question the monster’s motives. Yet he would find no answer to his question – instead the monster salivates at the look of Tengen. And soon the monster roars in excitement. His roar stinks. His saliva fires from its roar – acidic it would be. But before long, the monster raises its axe and charged at Tengen, almost seemly limping in its charge despite no visible injuries.

Once the monster gets close to Tengen, it would vertically drop its axe down at him, aiming to cut him in half.

Caitlyn

Thrown to the side Caitlyn had to act quickly, or she'd find herself buried in rubble and concrete. With a flip and a spin the young woman would make it so that her feet would hit the wall first. An amazing act given the circumstances but the strength at which Kallavan had thrown her at was still too much, buckling the wall. Crashing through it, she'd find herself at the opposite end of the wall but minus the damage she'd have received otherwise. It didn't take long before she'd move out of the hole the shadow that surrounded Kallavan finally revealed herself. A seductress had taken control of Kallavan but was this the real one? It seemed highly unlikely but not out of the question either.

"You perverted creature. You have no inkling of the man you're controlling." Caitlyn said as she rose her revolver, aiming it at the duo.
"Triple Tap."

Caitlyn called and from a single click, 3 shots were fired. Two to the succubus, her head and arm specifically. And the last one to Kallavan's knees. The bullets charged with incredible haki, and coated with the finest materials a projectile could have.
81-100: 3. Large Building Level +3(A) +2(Haki) = 8. Island Level

The Blue Sparrow had enough of this theatre. Vowing to herself that this wasn't the real Kallavan in front of her.

Kanda

Kanda had moved past his shadow version and figured that it was a mere puppet, but that thought quickly faded. For his senses screamed to turn around. Just in time to avoid the airblade that was heading towards him. Reaching backwards, Kanda evaded so that the wave would pass above him and continue its path forward into eternity. Shadow Kanda kept up the pressure as it continued its assault guided by the nearly breaking planks of wood. Drawing two swords Kanda went into Nittoryu formation.

"Taka Nami!" Kanda shouted as he swung with both his arms, creating a large gust of wind. Its intent, aimed to knock shadow Kanda off his feet.

81-100: 3. Large Building Level +1(C) +1(Haki) = 120: 5. Town Level

A diversion. The technique was nothing more than that. If it was really himself he was fighting against an attack at that level wouldn't hardly do much more than that. But whether it'd stall shadow Kanda or not. The real one would turn around after launching his Taka Nami and turned around, dashing through the bridge as fast as he could. He hated running away. But fighting on this junk piece of wood wasn't something he honestly wanted. As he ran, the man cursed to himself. Hating this act of cowardice. But Kallavan's words echoed in the back of his mind.

Life Before Death.

Trevor

Sitting down Trevor vowed to let the shadows come to him. He was used to this fact. As a Belmont he had to run through crypts, dungeons and all kinds of murky locations. This didn't really faze him nor harm his feelings. But as the shadows grew closer, sounds and voices of a past gone by started to haunt him. Or at least that was what this place was attempting. Upon hearing those voices and its altered meaning, the man could only chuckle. Even turning into a soft laugh. For he knew them to be false.

"Hahah...what a load of bull. You fools should've done your homework a bit more." The man said, taking another sip from his flask.
"I'm a fucking Belmont. I've heard those remarks since the day I was born. You'll have to do better than that to get me worked up."

Trevor said, red lines appearing below his eyes. A hint that the stuff he was drinking was pretty strong or that the man himself couldn't handle his liquor. Who'd say.

"C'mon! I'm dying here. Give me something to work with!" Trevor nearly begged for these shadows to up their game.

A call he might regret.

Mirio

Too late. The young man couldn't save this young girl in time. But how could he have done so? Everything in this place was unbreakable. A laughter of a voice he recognized now echoed throughout the various floors. Accompanied by cries of children just like the one he had failed to save. A trauma from years ago, the commander had saved him back then. And now it was time for him to try and replicate that fact. But was he ready for such a task? Kallavan had told him time and time again that he was. But the young man felt he was nowhere near close to such level of feats as the Big Boss himself.

"You're supposed to be dead, Ironbeard!"
Mirio called, wondering if that laugh was truly the pirate's.

There was no way for him to reach this darkness through force. No bars would bend to his force nor could he break through. But in order to go to the source Mirio figured if the darkness took him he'd get to the area where the children would end up. And so the man dashed through the floors and continued through this prison building, in the hopes of finding an open cell or at least a clue of some kind as to where to go. He couldn't break through bars, couldn't open them and his opponent kept himself to the shadows.

It was a tough break for young Mirio.

Tengen

Unsurprisingly the mutated version of Tengen or Shadow Tengen did not respond to the Shinobi's questions. No mental faculty besides brutality existed within this creature. Saliva nearly drooled to the ground and Tengen knew that avoiding combat was out of the question against this creature. It moved towards him with the intent to cleave him in half with the power of its axe.

With solid reflexes Tengen dodged to the side, still floating above the ground as he initiated his counter-attack.

"Overheat!"

81-100: 3. Large Building Level +3(A) +2(Haki) = 8. Island Level

A large concentrated thick rope of strings launched itself from Tengen's palm, coated with haki. The 'beam' of strings went straight to the creature's hand that held the axe. With piercing and cutting power to the roof it could blast the creature's hand straight off his wrist. But while he did so something ached in the back of his mind.

Just what was the meaning to all of this?

Caitlyn
The words of the succubus disgusted her, as she quickly recomposes herself after being fling into the wall, using her agility to quickly position to land feet first onto the wall, drastically minimizing damages from the throw that Kallavan would show as she plunges straight through the wall with a hole. And soon she would appear out of the very same hole that Kallavan created through her, her tone carries hint of anger as she spoke in seemly disgust. Though her reactions would likely be understandable considering her relationship with Kallavan. Raising her revolver, aimed towards Lilith and Kallavan, Caitlyn fired three shots in a single trigger.

Yet, her need to aim before she fired whilst logically, made it easier for the duo to simply moved away, dodging the bullets even at such distance. Lilith whilst unknown with her powers beyond controlling perhaps the real Kallavan, Caitlyn would likely at the very least expect Kallavan to be able to dodge bullets, whether fake or not.

“Hehehehehe! Well why don’t you see if you understand him better than I do!”

Lilith laughed, backing further away to maintain distance. Kallavan however, started to move – he is ready to fight on behalf of his mistress. Whether Caitlyn believe him to be a fake or not, she would very quickly realize that she would come to fight at the very least an extension of Kallavan. The man would quickly kick up his leg – firing a powerful Rankyaku towards Caitlyn aimed to cut her in half.

Kanda
Facing a shadow of himself, Kanda immediately bend back as the air blade fired by the shadow would fly past him. Immediately drawing two swords in the process as his shadow further closes the gap between them, Kanda immediately swung his swords, creating a large gust of wind towards his shadow, aimed to knock him off. But perhaps as he would expect, the shadow would immediately jump as well, dodging the incoming gust of wind – though which would allow Kanda to immediately run. The man recognizes the danger of his environment. That one small mistake would likely mean death. He would run with that knowledge in mind. Until a safer place is found fighting on the bridge is simply not an option in his mind.

But there came to one problem. Kanda running away would create a vulnerability to his idea. Unlike Kanda, his shadow does not come to possess any self-preservation. Meaning to put whether the bridge drops it off into the emerald abyss does not matter to the fake. As the shadow jumps up, he fires yet another air blade, but this time not at Kanda, but instead aimed towards the bridge at the front. An air blade with the size of his mastery would be enough to completely cut the bridge. Dropping back onto the bridge, the shadow continues to chase Kanda, firing yet another horizontal air blade, aimed to catch Kanda whom may have to deal with the first one. This is where Kanda’s problem began to arise, his strategy to retreat now have a weakness, that the shadow would likely attempt to cut the bridge to stop Kanda every once in a while, and dealing with that attack would more than likely slow Kanda himself down, letting his shadow catch up as well as likely getting hit by another attack targeted at him at the same time. Yet, before he knows it, the bridge is long – but not infinite. With enough running Kanda would eventually find an end.

Shadow Kanda’s DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + B: +2 = 120. 5. Town Level

Trevor
The voices started to mock Trevor, yet Trevor maintain his confidence that all these are false, yet are these truly false? Or it is Trevor mere belief to tell himself it is? Yet his confidence unwavering, instead calling out to practically speaking, no one – he would attempt to provoke further at the denizens of Limbo. Yet, he would realize that no one would respond to his calls and provocations. Yet, soon enough – the child-like laughters began anew, surrounding Trevor. Yet suddenly, a rock is thrown towards the back of Trevor’s head. Whether Trevor would dodge it, catch it or be hit by it would not have any consequence. But checking the identity of the stone thrower from the back – a spectral child-like figure would start to manifest. But soon, more rocks would be thrown from all directions, multiple spectral child-like figures appearing. Laughter galore.

Whether or not Trevor felt offended by it would slowly become less of a priority, annoyance would very quickly develop. And it would be hard to say what else would soon start to devolve into. Creeping towards Trevor quietly, the skeletal cloud has start to change drastically, now looking straight down at Trevor it seemed to have completely ‘closed in’ onto Trevor from above, much larger than originally seen as. Its mouth has start to open up as two large skeletal hands opened up and seemed to be very slowly inching down onto him. Yet the same deep seated fear that Trevor would experience would come into play once more should he even notice the cloud. An unnatural phenomenon catching onto him.

Mirio
The laughter caught Mirio’s attention, recognizing the man’s laugh. Calling out to the man he once knew to be dead, he would find the non-response to his words. It is as if he and the entity that at the very least mimic Ironbeard are on a different perceptions of reality where neither seems to be able to interact with each other. Yet Mirio did not give up, he would immediately head for a nearby cell – open that is. Soon he would find one that is open. An idea came to his head. Instead of rescuing the children directly, he would have to head to where the darkness awaits. It was a very smart idea to achieve his goals.

There is only one problem however, Mirio do not control the appearance of Ironbeard. Soon, cries of children continues, and soon – another laughter from Ironbeard came. The same exact sequence of events when the kid was taken in front of Mirio. He has the idea, but came out a little short. Presuming this idea is correct – he would need to find a way to bring Ironbeard to him, else it would likely take a while before Ironbeard came for him which is unlikely what someone whom desires justice would be willing to wait it out for.

Tengen
With an incoming axe striking down upon him, Tengen quickly dodged to the side – floating above ground as he launched a thick rope of strings from his palms and towards the monster’s outstretched arm. Pierced, the strings would find it decent easily to pretty much destroy the hand, forcing the monster to drop the axe. But the monster made no noise, its eyes immediately stares towards Tengen. His other arm immediately swung up against Tengen, aimed to utilize the lack of space on the corridor to try and slam Tengen onto the wall.

Monster DPR: 101-119: 4. City Block Level

The monster seems to felt no pain, almost immediately striking Tengen with a counter attack. Its destroyed hand starts to squirm in bubbly noises. The eldritch like mouth on its body licking around its lips vigorously, drool leaking out from its long tongue.

Caitlyn

There wasn't much too it, Caitlyn thought. Defeat Lilith and whoever masqueraded as Kallavan would vanish along with her. But to get to her seemed like no easy feat. Fake Kallavan kept up the pressure and launched a rankyaku towards the Blue sparrow, aiming to cleave her in half. But the woman, trained to the limit saw it coming. It also lacked any signature details the ordinary Kallavan wielded. It was far weaker, no haki. There was absolutely no doubt in her mind that the man before her was not her commander.

Caitlyn would move to the side, giving herself a slight hop, so she could turn in mid-air. The wave, in turn, would move pass her ever so slightly. Strands of blue hair would be cut, but it'd give her another opportunity to attack. Another two clicks with her index finger would fire two rounds to both her opponents. Now without the slow aim she'd gather her opponents would have more issues dealing with it. But in the event that wasn't enough, the blue sparrow would've vanished from her position by using soru. It wasn't her most skilled technique, but it'd have to do.

Once near Lilith. Or at the very least near enough to attack from range but this time a sawed-off shotgun was in her other hand. Aimed and ready to fire.

"I don't have to see. I know that fake is but a mere imitation."

From that single click a wide spread of rounds were instantly fired towards Lilith. The aim was to riddle her full of bullet holes.

Kanda
The swordsman ran knowing that fighting on this bridge would most likely end with him falling down into the abyss. But he'd also realized that his opponent would take advantage of this fact. Especially a being that had no survival instinct it seemed to operate on a basic instinct which was to defeat or kill Kanda. Shadow Kanda immediately swung with his weapon from above, aiming to cut the bridge in front of Kanda. But the man did not halt his movement. Stopping was defeat in this instance. In that regard he placed another blade in his mouth and dashed forward.

"-Hyo Kin Dama!"

Kanda’s DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + B: +2 +1(haki) = 6. City Level (121+, Zoans only)
Kanda called as he leaped forward while spinning in the air. He spun so quickly in fact that he, for a moment, vanished beneath the air he displaced. The air blade and this technique clashed against each other. But Kanda's addition of haki allowed him to push through this air blade.

Dropping back down onto the bridge Shadow Kanda would've realized that the other him now had a head start. Especially because he refused to stop moving. The next air blade that came directly at Kanda would hit its mark, but failed to actually stop him yet again. Kanda had used his haki to neutralize most of the damage. Only a small singe would appear on the man's back who kept on running and running.

"A pale imitation!" Kanda shouted as he increased his pace down this seemingly endless bridge.

Trevor
The man had sat down and refused to move an inch from his position. The laughter honestly didn't bother him that much, he had grown used to it and had found his actual family. The villagers from the past were but a part of his journey his destination lay elsewhere. Eventually a rock thrown to his head would cease this stalemate. The man turned around looking at a child like phantom that threw a rock towards him. Once observed Trevor would turn yet again, ignoring the event. A small layer of invisible haki covered him, making these rocks but minor annoyances. He had endured worse.

What he had not expected was this fear from earlier returning. Something he couldn't face yet a few moments ago. But now Trevor felt by instinct that this was something he had to go through. To run away from your own fears is to keep standing still, sometimes you have to meet the dark straight in the eye. The cloud from above changed and started to creep towards him closer and closer. It looked like it was starting to grab him.

"Strength before weakness." The young man muttered, drawing strength from those immortal words.

This was limbo, a perpetual prison of one's biggest regrets. To fight against it was to be trapped in it forever.

Or so the young man thought.

Mirio
The idea was solid. But all that remained was to find a way for Mirio to get to meet this 'darkness'. Running around he had found no easy access to one of these cells. Child after child they vanished, taken by Ironbeard. Until suddenly, something snapped in Mirio's mind.

"What if."

The young man halted his dash around the prison and waited until a cell turned empty. Once this occurred he'd try and see if he could open one of these cells now. With or without force. So far nothing in these halls was open and he had ran minutes on end.

There had to be something, right? An entrance somewhere.

Tengen
With not much effort the hand was sliced clean off from his wrist, dropping to the ground as if it was sludge. The Monster however didn't hesitate and immediately countered. Tengen's eye had noticed that this slam wasn't particularly threatening but he had also observed how the diced hand acted strangely. Even the creature in front of him was acting odd, as if something was going according to plan. Tengen had reacted with incredible reflexes and dashed backwards, in his evasion he swiped with his right-hand downward.

"Fullbright!"
81-100: 3. Large Building Level +1(C) +1(Hak) = 120: 5. Town Level

From above the creature five detached strings were heading downwards to impale it from above. Head, shoulder and knees were the main focus of this attack. Tengen landed once more and halted himself through a skid observing how things would progress now. This entire encounter was still very strange to say the least.

Caitlyn
A single rankyaku is fired towards Caitlyn, not necessarily of any threat – especially to anyone that has experience in fighting. Such straight-forward attacks typically do nothing but force a reaction, and with that it succeeded in doing so. Caitlyn would sidestep into a jump – dodging the Rankyaku with relative ease with only a mere hop. In response she would fire two more bullets to each of the opponents, though she would find the same thing in which Kallavan did, she would do the same – firing them at a distance which prompted the same exact action from her opponents.

Making use of the possibility of a distraction Caitlyn utilizes Soru to quickly shorten the distance towards her target – Lilith. Her logic is sound, defeat Lilith and Kallavan would similarly disappear like an apparition. Appearing close distance to her, Caitlyn attempt to shoot Lilith with her shotgun, but she would find Lilith unimpressed, seemly not moving in response to her attacks. It would make sense, for she has a bodyguard.

Whether Caitlyn sees Kallavan as a mere imitation did not matter, there is a certain power behind the fake and she would find it difficult to just bypass with no issues. Similar to Caitlyn, Kallavan recognize her movements, perhaps even faster than herself. And with that the man too, utilize Soru, this time he would immediately appear in front of Caitlyn, his arm immediately swung against the shotgun, deflecting the shots aimed at Lilith as she quickly floats herself towards the side, putting Kallavan directly between Caitlyn’s line of sight towards Lilith. Once deflected the shotgun away, Kallavan immediately hurled a punch right at Caitlyn’s chest with the other hand, the speed of which – Caitlyn herself would recognize. It is Jugon.

Kallavan’s DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + B: +2 = 120. Town Level

Kanda
The air blade flew, twice in various directions. But Kanda is nothing but resourceful – equally strong. Perhaps even stronger than an imitation to himself. In response to the air blades, Kanda utilized a three sword style and rush forward to face the incoming air blade, spinning about the man dealt with the air blade as he careens against with his swords. The next one came, but would eventually hit Kanda by the back, though through Haki Kanda withstood the attack with little damages. He would continue running, not willing to stop even for a moment.

As Kanda continues to run, he would soon feel the wooden planks of the bridge starts to feel less weightless like he did before, soon before him off the foggy distance came land, though barely. He is soon near the end of the bridge, and thus a safety net to be on. What land it is, could not really be seen – but it is neither to another building nor to some single small piece of concrete block. At the very least, there are trees and grass. But the imitation did not stop attacking. As Kanda starts to run, behind him the fake Kanda stopped chasing. But instead, the bridge started to fall apart behind him, this time rapidly threatening to completely drop Kanda into the emerald abyss. No longer is he fighting him, but now he has to run to survive and makes it to the land.

Trevor
The attempts by the spirits to seemly provoke a reaction out of Trevor would only at best cause annoyance to the man. The man would utilize Haki to ensure the stoning remains annoyance at most. Undeterred by anything such provocations are attempted on him, only to face another facet of the situation coming down upon him quite literally. The ghostly cloud now having coming extremely closer than before. The cloud is definitely not just a random shape, that much Trevor likely already realized. Eye-like shapes of the skull socket seems to stare intently at him. Fear now once more strikes the man. Its unnaturalness now seemly focused upon onto Trevor.

Fear. He used to look away. Now he would have face it – no matter how afraid he might be. Sensing a chance for change, a chance for something else that can lead him elsewhere. He believed in it. Muttering words to gain strength to face this fear. Trevor decided on his actions. But he isn’t the only thing that is changed. The spirits started to dissolved, as if melted from something incredible hot. From skin to skeletons to dripping eyeballs. The spirits melted into the ground yet nothing would remain, not even a puddle.

Yet arisen are various figures all around Trevor – large, armoured figures. Well-equipped with various weaponry. Ghost-like warriors appeared in droves from the ground. Yet Trevor may realize the situation became more dangerous for him. The fear could no longer be avoided by looking away from the ghostly skeleton cloud. The ghost warriors would strike from all directions, swords, bows, pistols, spears and even axe. With fear striking him unnaturally, Trevor must now deal with the massive amount of warriors.

Mirio
Cries come and go. Child being taken into the abyss, the total darkness that Ironbeard is. That is until an idea came. Perhaps once the cell doors are empty that the door would be opened. But one thing may come into Mirio’s mind about his own idea. If a cell became empty and allows it to open up, who is putting the child in and manage to completely close off the cell? Mirio may believe it to be Ironbeard, but there is something perhaps wrong with that line of thought?

Mirio continues to run. Looking for an entrance as he ran through corridors. Until a single cry came as Mirio would perhaps ran past. A boy. His hands covering his face but a sense of familiarity would come towards the young man. It’s almost as if… it is Mirio himself, but as a child. But that is not just the only thing Mirio would notice. The cell door. It is opened.

Is this a trap? A cell door out of nowhere opened up. And the child greatly resembles Mirio from his outward appearance. Would Mirio take the chance to test out his theory? Whether this whole thing is but an illusion did not matter, his justice is what mattered to him and now tests that very notion of justice. Actions speaks louder than words after all.

Tengen
The monster swung its arm towards Tengen prompting the reaction of the man whom immediately evaded the incoming arm by backing away with incredible reflexes. Upon avoiding the attack, Tengen swipe his right hand down, generating give strings which aimed to impale the monster’s head, shoulders and knees all at once. A powerful attack and Tengen would find his attack land with almost no reaction to the incoming attack. In one move Tengen struck the monster at all five spots – impaling through its flesh with ease. The monster slumbers to its knee, its arm dropped to support itself for a few seconds before completely stop moving.

….

But after a short while, the monster starts to bubbles at its injury spot. And then the monster starts to rise up once more. Its arm originally taken off by Tengen quickly regenerated. It’s face bubbling rapidly as is its shoulders and knees. The seemly attempt at incapacitation as well as killing the monster did not seem to put it down completely. As the monster rise up, the mouth starts to gaggle drooling. Suddenly its tongue strikes out – long. Aimed to wrap Tengen into its mouth while likely taken aback by its sudden revival. Its tongue is acidic, slightly burning the skin if Tengen is caught.

Caitlyn
The Blue Sparrow her logic was sound. Unfortunately this fake Kallavan still possessed some of the original's powers. And so when Caitlyn arrived to blast a shotgun round into Lilith, fake Kallavan was already there to intervene. With a sing from his arm the fake Admiral parried away the gun and opened up Caitlyn for a point-blank blow, a high speed jab immediately came afterwards. But this was a severe miscalculation on the fake Kallavan's part.

Caitlyn wasn't as helpless in hand-to-hand combat as many would think. Ironically enough, it was Kallavan himself who advised the blue sparrow to train her close combat. For situations like this. The jab flew forward razor sharp, but the young lady was quick enough to anticipate and react accordingly. Her upper body rotated so that her right shoulder would take the brunt of the impact. An obsidian shine cladding the entire shoulder, making it as hard as a steel beam.

The Jugon collided against the shoulder like a brick upon metal. It pushed Caitlyn slightly back but not enough to call it being blasted backwards but more like a slight shove. In that window the gunslinger took her opportunity and aimed her shotgun back at the fake Admiral.

"Dodge this."
She called and clicked once with the trigger.

Shot 1 81-100: 3. Large Building Level +3(A) +1(Haki) = 7. Mountain Level

A curtain of shells was fired at the now stationary Kallavan, having just finished his punch.

Kanda
The swordsman had succeeded in outrunning his opponent, and it'd seem that the shadow variant had no intention to try and pursue any longer. Land was also finally in sight, but unfortunately the copy took mater into a different direction. The bridge started to feel wobbly and unstable a quick scan to his left and right made Kanda instantly aware of the situation.

The copy had forsaken its plan to pursue and went full scorched earth. With the bridge gone it was both him and the real Kanda down into the abyss. Kanda would grin and accelerated his run and dash to its maximum before leaping into the air, trying to cover as much distance in the air. Once he started to fall down again, however, the young man would pull up both his swords and swung them down with incredible force behind him.

"Clear Lance!"

Kanda shouted as the impressive sword strikes into the air propelled him forward once more but this time like a rocket, exceeding the speed he'd have achieved while running on foot.

From this it seemed more and more likely that he'd achieve the other side of the bridge and avoid falling down with it.

Trevor
The young Belmont kept his ground and continued his stance without yielding to this primordial fear. It was all a ploy to get everything near to him and for him to get into the action. This sensation had definitely reached its max output and Trevor could feel that the surrounding area was shifting. The souls that berated and laughed at him vanished only to be replaced with an army of ghostly warriors, a situation he could no longer ignore.

"Life before death."

Trevor said opening his eyes and drew his morning star, rotating it closely next to him while shifting positions. Invisible haki channelled through the entire length of the chains bolstered it immensely. Through this short rotation Trevor would switch directions to deflect incoming attacks and once everyone was done with their first round of attack the White Wolf would reply.

"Morning star: Get Lost! "
81-100: 3. Large Building Level +3(A) +2(Haki) = 8.Island level

A super wide swing that attacked everyone around him, Trevor sought to overwhelm with one single power attack.

Mirio
It didn't take long before Mirio would find a cell that was open and for him to move into. Definitely a trap, the young warrior thought to himself. But it was his only option for now. There wasn't much else he could try for he had try pretty much everything he could come up with. This would be the final shot or be damned to this place for perhaps a lifetime.

What he didn't expect was for the cell to be occupied with a younger version of himself. Again, the tricks of the mind were at full display here. Hands down this was the strangest island he had ever set foot on so far. Without any hint of fear or reluctance Mirio would enter the cell door and waited for the trap to spring. But with hands on his hips and a heart-warming smile he spoke to his younger self.

"Things may look dire. But they'll change. We got this."

And so the rookie from fox hound waited for Iron Beard to take the stage.

Tengen
His five pointed attack struck with success against the blow of a monster. It fell to its knees with only an arm to support itself. From the looks of it this fight was more or less finished. But this uneasiness continued to flow through Tengen as if he hadn't seen the true terror from this creature. Unfortunately he didn't have to wait long for this feeling to finally surface itself. Like a boiling pot the creature's flesh started to gurgle and reform its lost limbs and heal its damaged flesh. With drool falling down to the ground Tengen would note that it had an acidic nature. Evasion was recommended here. Especially when it launched its tongue towards the Shinobi.

Like a bullet from a gun the massive tongue flew out in an attempt to capture Tengen. His eyes flashed red and quickly dashed to the side, but he didn't leave it at that. While the Shinobi flew he'd quickly push off from the nearby wall and continued to establish more distance once enough was reached he'd put his hands together again in a strange hand sign.

"Kagebunshin."

Now two versions of Tengen had appeared right next to one another. It was a narrow hallway, one stayed, and the other ran the opposite. Away from the monster.

How would the creature respond?

Caitlyn
Kallavan strikes with a fist coming straight onto her with incredible speed and power, the power of Rokushiki allowed even a mere fake to Caitlyn be able to produce powerful attacks. Thankfully, Caitlyn herself is well-versed in close combat enough to handle attacks well enough. Reacting accordingly, Kallavan’s fist punched her right shoulder, clad in Haki as she braces the impact of the strike, using the momentum by Kallavan’s punch as well as the window of his punch to immediately swung her shotgun out, aimed point blank at Kallavan before pressing the trigger. A spread of shells fired from the shotgun, hit straight at the Admiral with seemly no reaction. It wasn’t just a lack of reaction, Caitlyn’s shotgun shells practically shredded Kallavan’s body, poking his ‘flesh’ pull of massive holes, though like a smoke, Kallavan starts to dissipates as if he was a generated construct that took too much damage to ‘maintain’ form. However, the fake wasn’t just a mere imitation to put it in a way.

Even at its dissipation, Kallavan did not simply fade out of its existence. His punch still near to Caitlyn shoulders, Kallavan would seem retract his arm, but only for a few inches back before suddenly raising his index finger out, now at even closer proximity, the fake would attempt one more strike before fully fading out. Aiming to make use of its seemly defeat to strike Caitlyn at close range and perhaps likely off guard for a second – Kallavan delivered a powerful shigan at her right arm with the intention of weakening her.

Kallavan’s DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + S: +4 = 7. Mountain Level

Regardless of the results of Kallavan’s strike, he would dissipate into a puff of black smoke that would blow into the winds rapidly. Behind him, Lilith awaits. And soon, the succubus spoke, though not before seemly generate a large amount of pinkish smoke around herself and Caitlyn, floating upon the air gracefully with her now manifested bat-like wings

Kanda
With the collapsing bridge coming to completely drop Kanda off the emerald abyss, but Kanda was resourceful, understanding the power of his martial arts allowed him to jump, using his own force of his techniques to drive and propel him forward, preventing the bridge from completely collapsing upon him as Kanda managed to barely reach the inland by its edge. The land, filled with grass and trees, for all that Kanda would eventually recompose himself to observe his surroundings. It is massive. A giant structure stood far beyond the horizons, but not truly be seen from where Kanda could see clearly. Another landmark to explore beyond the emerald fog with its sharp roof as a silhouette. The land that Kanda would stood on seems to span far.

He would find no more a Shadow Kanda behind him. Only a single path awaits him, should he decided to walked the dark creepy path. As Kanda walks, he would find gargoyle-like statues stood on his two sides, guiding a singular path forward as if Kanda is approaching something grand. But what lies beyond the road? A feeling of creepiness from the statues created an air of unnatural discomfort for many. Though one with a heart of steel would find no trouble compartmentalizing such feelings away.

Trevor
Surrounded by fear and deadly warriors, Trevor held his heart closely, not willing to fall prey into such unnatural emotions easily. Yet it is not just the fear that he has to conquer, the warriors whom surround him came into action, just as Trevor quickly recognize the escalating situation. He did not falter, only through words that granted him the strength would he find himself ready for any tribulations enacted upon him.

A large wide swing with his morning star in tow, Trevor aimed to take out all those that charged right at him, and he would find with very little resistance that the ghost warriors poses. Like flames and smoke, the morning star would smash each of the ghost warriors like a puff of smoke. But these warriors reform itself almost flame-like, though with holes and missing parts after the reformation as if something is simply lost when Trevor struck them. But that’s not all he would note, the swing he made did little to slow the ghost warriors at all, as they seem semi-ethereal to an extent in which would simply ignore the swing and continue charging at Trevor.

And they would jump. Jump atop of Trevor which would despite their bodily state capable of applying weight to Trevor, trying to completely take down Trevor onto the ground with sheer weight and numbers. A chaotic mess.

Mirio
Noting the open cell out of everything, Mirio recognize the possibility of a trap. After all there is only currently one cell that opened up despite originally running past it before. What he did not expect was his younger self, but perhaps with some considerations one may start to understand what this jail is for, or rather what is the truth to this circumstance that haunted him from the past. Yet Mirio, whether trap or not did not falter. There is no hesitation to be made. His bright self was at the forefront of his heart and strength. No matter the case, he is going to save as many as he could, even if its himself – or a trap waiting to spring.

The young Mirio cried, but Mirio himself took the same words as he did for the girl back then, not exactly word for word but the reassurance and confidence that he would provide strength for the child is rather astounding. The young Mirio stopped weeping for a moment before looking up at Mirio, silent but for now his tears has slowly stopped. Alone he is not in this cell. Reaching out his small hands, a gesture of holding hands. For a child warmth is necessary in such times. Though whether or not Mirio would accept it, he would find nothing happening for a small bit of time.

But soon afterwards, a speck of darkness starts to grow out of a corner. Expanding slowly into every corner of the room. Behind Mirio, he would notice the cell doors suddenly closed with no way out, and without any sounds or rattling of metal accompanying it – as if magical. Fear. The young Mirio watched, his body shaken to its core.

It is time. Regardless of how Mirio would act, soon - he would be pulled into a complete void alongside young Mirio, where seemly nothing but a water surface they stood on, somehow managing to clearly reflect them despite the darkness.

Tengen
Despite Tengen’s powerful attacks, the monster simply stood up afterwards – regenerating from the wounds as flesh bubbles and starts to close up the wound gaps. Yet Tengen ultimately remains cautious and adaptive about it. Noting the acidic nature of its tongue which would quickly shot out with the intention to wrap its slimy tongue upon Tengen. But the ninja is fast enough, dashing to the side before performing a string of handsigns, creating another clone of himself. One would start to run, whilst the other stayed.

But for the monster it did not care, it would walk forward slowly towards them. It is chasing though not necessarily what chasing should be. But regardless, the monster would start to move its hand on the chest where the drooling mouth and tongue is, in a single motion, the monster clawed its chest, creating a laceration on the edge of the mouth. Yet there is barely any blood, instead the mouth now began to enlarge in size, and suddenly the mouth starts to position its lips into an ‘O’. Seconds later, wind and air would start to suck, vacuuming into mouth with incredible intensity. The power of the vacuum so great that not just that the Tengen that stayed behind began to be pulled but also the one that attempted to run, aiming to catch both Tengen.

Caitlyn
The gunslinger saw her opportunity and replied after the fake Kallavan had punched her shoulder. Cushioning most of the damage in that regard a well-placed shotgun shot followed afterwards, filling the construct full of holes. Unfortunately it did not stay that way for the creature or object would give its opponent a farewell present, a high speed and powerful shigan flew at Caitlyn. Her eyes flickered red, and her instincts screamed that this attack was different, one she could not simply block like she had done so previously. Observational haki would provide her with a staggering increase in reaction but the close proximity and suddenness of it all made it very difficult to evade completely.

She'd attempt to move to the side, leaning her upper body in the opposite direction. But as previously mentioned, the Blue Sparrow would be far too late to completely avoid it. But what she did avoid was her arm being punctured, turning a stab into a slash wound. The latter was 'easier' to manage than the former. And without any word uttered the construct faded from sight. Lilith behind him now formed wings as a pinkish smoke covered both her and Caitlyn, apparently sectioning them off. Floating off the ground Caitlyn would have to try her best to ignore the wound on her right arm for she'd have no time to treat it right now. She'd holster the shotgun and draw both of her revolvers, their cylinders spun around before clicking into the chambers. With her guns, at last close to her face.

"Now then. Just you and me or do you have another army of fakes lying around to do your dirty work?"

Kanda

Through skill and a smidgen of luck Kanda would reach the opposite island of the bridge. Through a roll and flip the swordsman would finally land on his own two feet. A quick glance behind him would tell him that the danger had passed and Shadow Kanda had fallen to his own trap. The real Kanda would sigh and sheathe his blades back to their scabbards on his right hip.

The land he found himself on right now was vast and quite large only an obscure landmark out in the distance would take his attention. The path leading towards it felt eerier and scary were it any other person that'd walk it. But Kanda could only roll his eyes upon it, his patience with this island and its obnoxious themes was wearing thin. He'd walk the path, casting a short glance to the gargoyles that decorated the road. A sense of uneasiness persisted, but it would not grow beyond that. Still, the young man kept his precautions and held one of his blades below the hand guard. Allowing him to draw it in a moment's notice.

"Hope, I'm getting closer to something. This place is an utter maze."
Kanda whispered softly to himself.

Trevor
The rugged member of Foxhound stood up and swung defensively and offensively at the same time. His morning star flew forward with incredible power and speed. But instead of throwing these phantoms off their metaphorical feet it simply blew past them like the ethereal creatures that they were. This event shocked Trevor and before long the army of ghosts and phantoms would leap towards the white wolf, burying himself beneath a mountain of ghosts and phantoms. It honestly seemed like attacking these creatures seemed to yield no results and he was already far too gone in his previous plan.

Now it was time to double down and go all the way.

"Alright fuckers, the hell do you want with me!" Trevor said, trying his best to avoid being suffocated to death. But for now he offered no resistance to these creatures. Despite that he could not damage them they seemingly carried some sort of weight.

Mirio
Kallavan's protégée looked on as he offered a hand to his seemingly young self. Compared to the younger girl it seemed as if this version of Mirio was more receptive towards it, no coincidence for it was that same thing that years ago drew him out of something similar. Mirio held the smaller hand of himself without question and would brace himself to fight the dark head on. Soon darkness would echo and completely cover the cell door, blocking off any attempt to escape. Mirio would lower himself and spoke to his younger self who was clearly distraught.

"I know it is scary, but sometimes we must face the darkness. Move backward, gain one. Move forward gain two. Strength before weakness."

The young man said and not long after that both versions of Mirio were transported into a complete void. Below their feet a water surface that reflected them perfectly. Mirio kept his grip tight enough as to not lose the child but at the same time soft as to not break the child's hands.

"Now what is this?" Mirio wondered genuinely where he was.

Tengen
Trying to make sense of this combat encounter Tengen sought to both attack and defend at the same time. But unfortunately the creature had other things in mind. By forcefully opening its mouth it would increase its attacking power or at least the ability to suck stuff in like a vacuum. With incredible force both Tengens would be sucked in or at least the creature would attempt that. With incredible skill and reflexes both Shinobi would wrap themselves with their own strings and attack several bundled up wires to the ceiling and floor, anchoring them in place. But whether this would hold long enough remained to be seen. The Tengen closest to the creature would attempt to wrap it in a seemingly overwhelming amount of strings to the point the creature would be completely covered in wires. This to keep it occupied and perhaps increase its vacuum like powers. The Tengen in the back, however, would aim his strings to the ceiling above this abomination. Amassing an equal amount of wires in the attempt to pull out the ceiling above it. The hopeful outcome of it being buried beneath a large portion of concrete and all kinds of other stuff.

They had to stop this being from doing whatever it was doing and fast. For they'd not be able to hold this on forever.

The fake Kallavan left a parting gift, one that likely took Caitlyn by surprise but not completely off guard. In that short span of time, Caitlyn was able to twist her body to turn a puncture wound into a gash wound by the fake’s finger action. While not a terrible injury by any means, such attacks have cause bleeding – a wound that may or may not affect her in this fight or even in the future. Yet the woman took stride in the circumstances, an injury but not major enough to turn the tables against her. She stays calm. An important trait to have in battle, and especially in such twisted island where nothing is predictable. A pink cloud of gas permeates from the Succubus, Lilith. Yet nothing dangerous seems to happen as the battlefield took a strange turn in its environs. A strange pink smoke that surrounds both of them.

Caitlyn prepared herself for the next fight, holstering her shotgun in favour of a pair of revolvers. A good choice, for the revolvers allow close combat more effectively and ease of movement. Caitlyn spoke, attempting to provoke Lilith with her words, calling her someone that wouldn’t do the dirty work herself. But all Lilith responded is but a mere chuckle, a seductive one at that. Unsheathing her own blade, a short sword to be precise – Lilith continues to float in the mid-air, flying essentially. There are no other minions. At least for now, Lilith is the only one that Caitlyn has to deal with. Soon however, Caitlyn starts to feel warm, as if the temperature is rising up.

Kanda
The resourceful man quickly made his way to the other side of the bridge, now faced upon what seems to be essentially a single path that Kanda continues his journey to search for Kallavan. His experience and strength allowed him to stay strong not just physically but mentally as well, for the gargoyle like statues would not be able to deter away Kanda from his chosen path. A long path. But Kanda would eventually notice the silhouette of a landmark increasing in size as the distance between himself and the structure shorten. And finally.

Lights. Orange lights as if from lamp posts would be seen in front even though obscured blurring from the emerald fog, eventually the structure would take a clearer silhouette. A castle stood in front of Kanda. The only structure that Kanda would notice to be different from all other buildings he has seen. But it is not to be a clear path that Kanda may have thought to be. Two figures stood in front of him. One is an armoured figure, but seemly floating upon the air – covered in cloak, no legs were present. Like a ghost. A wraith. But stood beside him, a shadowy humanoid figure, completely engulf in black smoke making it impossible to discern its identity at all.

“I welcome you to our humble abode. Kekekeke!”

“Unfortunately I need to have you delivered to my master… in pieces!”

The Keeper laughed.

Trevor
Despite Trevor’s actions, the vast amount of ghost warriors quickly overwhelmed the man through numerical superiority as well as its strange regenerating prowess, although not necessarily a regeneration that one would expect given its missing parts upon regeneration of their figure. Burying him down onto the ground, Trevor struggled, but more importantly to ensure he would not suffocate from dogpiling upon him. Despite the nature of the spectral warriors, they possessed some weight onto them.

Anger. Trevor wasn’t sure if he could escape. But ultimately decided to double down on his idea. The spectral warriors, they have a special attribute. An attribute more closely related to ghosts in nature. Cold. Exhaustion. Trevor would find these traits quickly catching onto him. The chilling nature of the ghost seemly saps his life. Though not exactly in the sense of draining him husk dry, but his energy itself depletes from contact – causing exhaustion in addition to the bone chilling nature of a ghost. Before he would know it, just inches above him – the skeletal cloud’s hands have completely closed onto him. An overcast of shadows casted down straight on him. Soon, he would be engulfed in fear that permeates from the skeleton cloud and then, only darkness awaits. No words are further spoken by anyone for Trevor would receive no response to his question.

Should Trevor have any further doubts on his plans, he would best force himself away before completely fallen unconscious.

Mirio
Darkness overtook the cell, shifting their environs from the prison into a dark void with only a clear water-like surface reflecting them. Silence. But Mirio stood firm, continuing to reassure young Mirio with words of encouragement. Such words would slightly grant his young self some form of strength. From the young Mirio’s facial expression, he is less scared of the darkness, especially now that Mirio himself is with him.

“KUHAHAHAHAHA! DDDDDDEEEELLLICCCIOUUSSSS!”

A laughter echoed around the void, loud enough to ring across one’s ears. But such voice became apparent to Mirio. Ironbeard is coming. Yet nothing seems to happen for a short while. But soon.

Behind Mirio, just above him – a giant skull adorned with gold accessories and a pirate hat appeared from nowhere. His laughter now continues, pinpointing to Mirio his location. It is only a small amount of time from his laughter would then suddenly appear a skeletal hand, proportional to its size from the darkness would come for them. In one fell swoop, the skeletal Ironbeard aimed to grab onto young Mirio if not nothing were to be done.

Tengen
Before one of the Tengen could attempt an escape, the monster quickly unleashed a powerful vacuum from its mouth, aimed to suck in both Tengens into its mouth for a meal. Quickly, Tengens was able to quickly produce strings and wires, setting up around the area to anchor themselves in place, particularly around the ceiling and floor in large amounts. Some wires would give way, especially those closer to the source of the vacuum but otherwise they would hold fairly well, allowing the Tengens to anchor down, though only slightly pulling and slipping. The monster did not seem to be aware of what is going on, showing signs of a lack of intelligence in regards to the Tengen monstrosity, only that given the lack of progress with its vacuum would sort to try even harder, pulling much harder.

But it is enough time for the Tengen in the back to unleashed his plans, pulling the entire ceiling out and down onto the abomination. The lack of awareness of the monster would allow Tengen’s attack to hit the monsters, stopping its suction towards Tengens as it fell with the incoming ceiling rubble as well as anything above it, including some form of machinery that dropped along with it. With the suction stopped. Tengen and his clone now have a brief moment of respite, very briefly. For after 20 seconds. The rubble and the machinery would start to shake, taking a few short seconds afterwards before the monster rises up once more, pushing the anything on it away with its strength and size to boot.

A seemly invincible monster. An absolute monstrosity created.
