"That was after I swam along the open ocean for a few days."
Sweet glanced back to gauge Gerald's face, forgetting about his helmet in that brief moment. She was trying to gauge if he was messing with her, swimming the Grand Line in armor was no minor feat- at least not for a land-dweller. The fishwoman's eyebrows were raised up, broadcasting a bit of amazement.
"Not bad for someone without gills." Sweet Einsauer remarked, her dark lips forming a closed-mouth half smile.

She began peeling open the grapefruit in her hand, seemingly pondering something; she broke her trance on the citrus by beginning a cycle of lightly interrogating Gerald about various topics and then listening to his responses all the way to her teal-blue vessel: The Cotton Blossom. A white flag flapped in the wind, displaying a black jolly roger on both faces. The ship was simple, if Gerald were familiar with Navy vessels he'd spot some similarities.

The ship bustled with the movements of pirate swabbies preparing the ship for travel, luckily they hadn't gotten too comfortable on shore. The ship was already nearly prepared by the time the ship's captain reached the docking area. Mikami, still on shore, watched Gerald, Sweet and Geck'O approached; the gargantuan human stood with a huge smile plastered across his hefty head.

"Behold-- the Cotton Blossom." She said with an air unabashed pride in her vessel. The fishwoman's bare feet walked up the awaiting wooden gangway. After her recent debacle in the Lulusia Kingdom, the crew noticed a greater sense of ease coming from their captain when they were at sea. "Get a move on." She casually ordered the trio still on the docks.

It was time to set sail.

Midnight Watch #19

The fishwoman's eyebrows were raised up, broadcasting a bit of amazement.
"Not bad for someone without gills." Sweet Einsauer remarked, her dark lips forming a closed-mouth half smile.
"Thank you." He politely replied, though taking a moment to reminisce to the many tribulation he'd faced out in the ocean. Rough water's, hunting sea creatures, starvation, the heat?! It's a miracle he even made it this far off his home isle.

The ship was already nearly prepared by the time the ship's captain reached the docking area. Mikami, still on shore, watched Gerald, Sweet and Geck'O approached; the gargantuan human stood with a huge smile plastered across his hefty head.
Gerald gave Sweet his honest replies, breezing through the interrogation. It was like a test! Or so he believed it to be that was until she brought him to her teal-blue vessel. The esteemed Cotton Blossom! It was a simple ship with a unique jolly roger, conveying the powerful picture that they or... Gerald had joined up with pirates! He gazed in awe and excitement at the ships design, unlike his home isle the ship had been blessed and splashed with a luxurious sense of personality, at least with it's colour pallet.

What truly captivated his gaze was the gigantic human, Mikami. Such a massive height! Gerald was astonished, he'd seen his fair share of giants but aboard this ship? Could it be possible!?

"Behold-- the Cotton Blossom." She said with an air unabashed pride in her vessel. The fishwoman's bare feet walked up the awaiting wooden gangway. After her recent debacle in the Lulusia Kingdom, the crew noticed a greater sense of ease coming from their captain when they were at sea. "Get a move on." She casually ordered the trio still on the docks.
"The Cotton Blossom... Amazing!" He muttered. Boarding the ship along with the swabbies.

End of Flashback...

"And that's pretty much what happened at Shoal town, I had met Geck'O and then Sweet. A little scuffle got between the two of us and we ended up fighting. Now I have an unspoken admiration for the Captain, her willingness to let me join and the adventures that have yet to unfold"
He said, calmly and blissfully. His reminisce brought him a bit of joy; as his journey had started.

As if cued, the sun's light began to kiss the sky with shades of pink and crimson as it greeted the Sweet Pirates adrift the Grand Line. It seemed that the story had gone on longer than expected, managing to keep the swabbies preoccupied throughout the entire midnight watch. Mikami's wide smile separated as he spoke up:
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SWAM THE GRAND LINE!" He blurted excitedly. "O-HO, WE'RE BIGTIME LUCKY TO HAVE YOU ON THE CREW!"

From across the deck, a loud shuffling and shifting could be heard behind the door to the captain's quarters. Sweet Einsauer was awake. A clean-faced swabby suddenly rushed into the kitchen without a word to the other swabbies.
The fishwoman could be heard clearing her throat of sleep, snarling and hacking- the noise of a metal cup hitting the ground and then suddenly the door swung open. Sleepy irritation worn plainly on her face, her sullen eyes being more so than usual. The clean-faced swabby returned with a mug of coffee for his captain.

Sweet Einsauer took the coffee and took a big swig of the piping hot coffee and glanced over at the crew all huddled together. A yawn replaced her mildly interested expression at the story-circle. "Full sails." She said before turning and going back into her quarters with her coffee in hand.

"FULL SAIL AHEAD, O-HO!"
