Maybe, I'm pretty sure both him and Big Mom are still alive, though. Hardly anyone actually dies in this show anyway unless it is actively shown on screen.

Considering how highly Oda himself places the lethality of Magma, it's safe to say that Kaido is dead lol. Don't know about Big Mom, we haven't seen her body

I’m ok with Queen/King/Kaido not having awakened mode. Particularly because both Lucci/Kaku got rolfstomped.

For starters, Vegapunk said when you go awakened, you run the risk of losing yourself (like Impel Down jailers). It would stand to reason the more ferocious the animal, the harder it is to control. Kaido is a dragon (technically fish). A lot more complicated compared to a giraffe in Kaku.

Second, I love characters having specialties:

• Big Mom: Devil Fruit
• Kaido: Strength/Vit
• Shanks: Haki
• Lucci/Kaku: Awakened
• Sengoku: Intelligence
• Garp: Deez hands

It could well be the fruit Ceasar was holding in the cover story. Like a dupe of it. With all these reveals, Stussy being a combo of proto Seraphim or some Android is not a reaching.

But of course based on her personality, it could well be a succubus.
